Heaven is described in Isaiah 66 as God's dwelling place. It is where God has set up his throne.

Angels dwell there among many other things...

...like the cherubim, the saints, river of living waters and not forgetting Jesus the son of God.

Revelation 21 describes heaven with precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal.

Having a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates.

Akiane Kramarik who was just 4 years old at the time,

drew this painting depicting heaven. She had no formal art training.

What's also intriguing is that at the time she began painting,

Akiane Kramarik had never heard of Jesus or attended church.

Her father was agnostic and her mother an atheist.

Neither parent ever spoke about God or Heaven at the dinner table, and there were certainly no bedtime prayers.

But According to the little girl, her talent and inspirations came directly from God.

Whether you believe it or not, it is quite an amazing story.

The Bible is also clear on who gets to go to heaven and who doesn't. However, it may not be what you think.

In Matthew 5:20 Jesus tells the people that unless their righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees...

...and the teachers of the law, they will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

In Matthew 7:21 Jesus further explains that many who consider themselves...

Christians will not even get to see heaven.

In Revelation 21:8 God says, "But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers,

the sexually immoral,

those who practice magic arts, the idolaters,

and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

So if unbelievers, liars, sorcerers, murderers, the sexually immoral,

religious teachers and even some Christians don't go to heaven...WHO DOES?

Well, we don't have to look that far

John 3:16 says

Then in verse 36...

So basically those who believe in Jesus go to heaven

But that's not it.

The Bible tells us in Romans 2:6-8 that we are judged by our...

...works. And that even if we believe in Jesus,

,but sow evil into our lives and in the lives of others, we do not make it to heaven.

But we also know that...

...repentant sinners go to heaven regardless of the sin they committed. In Luke 23:32-55

When Jesus is executed with two criminals...

...one of the criminals repents on the cross and is immediately forgiven.

The people who go to heaven are all alike in one way:

1.They are sinners who have placed their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

2.They have recognized their need for a Savior and humbly accepted God's offer of forgiveness.

3.They have repented of their old ways of living and set their course to follow Christ.

4.Although they may continue to sin one way or another,

like Paul, the Samaritan woman,

David and many others...they repent of their sins daily and ask God for strength to overcome the flesh.

So let me test you on this:

In all of these cases...

we cannot make a judgement on salvation, for only God knows the heart...

But we know that Adam and Brittany seem to have a repentant heart and are likely to make it to heaven.

Therefore, we find that repentance is key.

This could be the reason Jesus tells us in Matthew 21:31

That prostitutes and corrupt tax collectors enter the kingdom of God before religious people.

Jesus did not come for the self righteous, but for those who know they are sinners.

on Quora so today I'm going to show you the answer that I gave on Quora and then

this is the question that a person has posted let me look at the name of the

person well the person does not leave their name there so I'm just gonna read

out what I said so but before I can do that until I gave I have to tell you

what the question was so the question was why do you so many people mistakenly

think submissive wives are being abused or controlled when in fact many families

quite enjoy a traditional marriage so this is the question that this person

has posed so me this is my answer Samantha goes like this the biggest

problem about modern-day human beings is that they want to interpret everything

according to scientific research and pause television tomorrow democracy and

all man-made things it is called who said the woman must submit it is called

who said that the wife must be the husband's Harper so there's a mission of

the wife and the happy hand that the wife becomes must always be rooted in

God must always be interpreted through God for with our God or the removal of

God from this union of marriage between the man and the woman he will get abuse

bitterness and anger things which may in the end make God look I mean may God

look unjust but God is just God as justice when Eve was created she already

had a calling her call him was to be Adam's helper and the question will

arise what was Adams job Adams job was to make all of creation which was given

to him by God as his kingdom to be submitted to the will of God so Eve was

to help him do that so Adam did not have a personal goal of

trying to be something great or the greatest days or there

but does that make all of creation to the will of God because if Adam was to

stray away from the purpose that God had given him and pursue his own personal

goal then he himself will be outside of the will of God these goals release Eve

from helping Adam by virtue of the fact that Adam no longer serves God but his

own goals and ambitions Eve is released from being Adam's helper to submit once

after the will of God is to serve God the modern day living with democracy and

liberty especially in the homes means that most men do not deserve help us

because men are not submitted to the will of God to serve Him and further the

kingdom of God they cannot be allowed to have what to have wilds who will help us

because they will abuse his women they would want women not to have any

personal goals and ambitions but serve them meaning the man in their own

selfish desires for worldly fame and success this will make all and just make

women beat it was God for it is God who will that the wife must be the husband's

Harper but a man who is called to serve God and make him known among the nations

must have a wife who is a Harper to him this goal this cause does not even have

to be something great or big like mission I were hoping a preacher but

even if the man's goal is to make his own family live in accordance of the

will of God he deserves a Harper a wife who will

submit to him Abraham's goal from God was to make his family live in

accordance with the will of God that's it nothing more nothing less

Sarah was Abraham's heart was Abraham's Harper in that he even called Abraham

Lord for when a man has a goal in the will of God he will be submitted to God

and whatever he does will be whatever he does with his life will be rooted in God

he would not have any earthly ambition but the ambition to make God known so

when the wife's up mister she's not missing out on anything for

she herself is a worker in the kingdom of God with the hopping that she gives

to her husband the man who submitted to the will of God cannot abuse his wife in

any shape or form for marriage is the manifestation of course of Jesus

Christ's love for the church and he says quite not only dull for the church but

does only what is good for the church the Bible says that the husband must

love his wife like his own skin the Bible says him who finds a wife

finds favor with God because the man who submitted to God knows this by heart he

can know he can do nothing but good to his wife but for those who want to be

free from the will from God's will and laws they can do what they want because

there are constitutions in their countries gave them the freedom but when

they tried to make democracy and the Word of God it just leads to bitterness

and misdirected anger and hate towards God who said that the wife must submit

to her husband as his helper they do not realize any wife whose husband does not

have a goal or ambition for God must not have a wife who will submit him because

he's soft serving so the woman must not be submissive to a self-serving man

but a God semi man otherwise God would be unjust was womanhood but God is just

God is justice so that is the answer that I gave about whether you know women

why why people think the submissive wives are being abused or controlled

when in fact they are in this is true many they are people who have

traditional Christian marriages where the man is the head and the wife is

submissive to that man and then they are very happy about the thing is that we

believe that for you to be happy if they have a mission in goal and achievement

and a career but you don't realize that for you to be happy you have to file

papers that God has given you and then when you fulfill up of papers you become

obedient to God and you will have you will live a fulfilling map this will

give you joy whether or not the life that God has given you may not

be now extravagant in terms of what people are

looking at even when you're suffering but because of the fact that you know

that your life is admitted in God and you can never regret your decision in

what you doing this gives you joy then as a little after but joy of the fact

that you cannot regret what you what you're doing or what you were doing for

the name of God so it you become content so this answer which was viewed 133
