Howdy

You are watching a live stream on my channel Traveling with Kristin where I take you behind-the-scenes in the digital nomad lifestyle

to help you become location independent and free and live life on your own terms! And

We are

I'm here with my friend. Kristal, aka Pino, right? "yeah" and

She spent a long career as a CPA

At a traditional accounting firm and then finally she freed herself of that lifestyle

traveled around the world for a couple years and now

she has her own company as

Still as a CPA

but helping travelers and expats and digital nomads with their taxes and running their businesses and

basically

Facilitating their location independent lifestyle. So she is one of the very few

CPAs in the entire world that I have met in ten years...

Fifteen years! of being an expat or digital nomad - who knows what the F she's talking about. :) We just had lunch and

It's an interesting coincidence that today is the first day of tax season, right? tax season....

Happy first day of tax season

So we just had an amazing lunch of

Chicken soup and it was what $1 to $2? and now we're walking through beautiful, Snowy Bansko. I'll show you guys the scene

We're in downtown Bulgaria

Downtown Bansko, Bulgaria and

We are headed back to the co-working space. So I wanted to share

some of Pino's insight and

lessons learned from traveling around the world and maybe even a couple of hints as

tax season opens up so Pino - welcome! tell us where you're from and

How your journey into the laptop lifestyle started?

yes, so I grew up in Buffalo, New York and

Then I lived in Birmingham, Alabama for about 20 years. Um

Like she said, I did the traditional CPA thing. I loved my firm loved my job, but kind of felt like there was something missing

...I ran across a program where I decided to travel for a year with a group of people [Remote Year] and

Just absolutely fell in love with the [digital nomad] lifestyle. So when I went to work on just designing

how I could

Do what I love while doing what I love! so working, travel, etc... Kristin: and how many countries have you been to you know?

Pino:I think I'm on number 34 in a little under two years. So

Making up for lost time Kristin: I have to ask this question because it gets like a 90% rate

of the same answer, but do you see yourself ever going back to your old way of life?

Pino:Oh, it's one of my biggest fears that I'll never be able to settle down again

You know like this lifestyle like it gets in you and it affects you

So, I mean I never say never I don't see it any time in the foreseeable future

Yeah

Most people including some of the studies that I've seen like 80 or 90 percent say that they want to keep doing what they're doing

or

Have some hybrid way where it's not exactly what they stopped doing, but it's not exactly traveling full-time anyway

so or all the time and

so why should

people be...

Why is it important that today is the first day of tax season and if there are any digital nomads or remote workers out there -

What should they know?

And what should they be prepared for today? Pino:Um, I mean season is open and we all have to file our tax returns

unfortunately

and I think you know as as travelers in the way that we travel like there are some

Significant tax savings out there for us. If you where of you know the tax savings that you could be getting for yourself

Um, you know talk to somebody who who knows more than you. Um, I always tell people like I read tax

publications so that you don't have to! haha

so yeah

I'm mean definitely get up and out into there because I mean well how many plane tickets and

B&Bs and excellent adventures. So why not fund those with a little bit of tax savings? Yeah, definitely and

Kristin: What um, why is it so difficult for

entrepreneurs and

Solopreneurs and people who work for themselves? Why... why is it so hard for us to find

Tax professionals who understand the dynamic of working for yourself and from different countries?

Pino: Well, I mean, I think that you know, you don't you don't know what it is until you do it yourself

I mean, I have kind of the advantage that I've seen both sides of it, right?

I've been the accountant who works in the firm who has absolutely no understanding of what the lifestyle entails

You know what it what it does for us and kind of the advantages and disadvantages

You know, so I think that that's kind of where where my my edge is in. My niche is I

Understand this life because I live it. (Kristin: Yeah) Pino: Yeah, I know and I've done all the research for myself and you know

I put the strategies in for myself and then you know

I talked to my entire network about what their struggles are, and I understand it

So it's just a deeper level of understanding that if you've never done it, you just don't know. Kristin: Yeah

Kristin: And what would you say for people who think that because they live in another country?

They don't have to file a tax return in their home country. Is that accurate?

Pino: That is NOT accurate! if you are US citizen you are required to file

there's at least a filing requirement even if you don't owe any taxes, and so

And I will tell you that if you don't file a tax for long enough, they will take away your citizenship. So

That that can be a thing so yes, you're at least gonna have a filing requirement, so be aware

so Pino and Grace from Gracefully Expat are the only

two

U.S.

tax - either CPAs or IRS enrolled agents that I've ever met who

have such a thorough knowledge on this topic and this is something that

I've personally been researching for the entire time that I've been an expat

Like almost the entire time... about the past 13 years and it's been very difficult to uncover this information. So I highly recommend

Reaching out to one of those two ladies. I will post Pino's contact info in this description and

also

the interview with Grace about some of the ins and outs of this that will be coming out in a couple weeks or you know,

So this is a top that we're gonna keep bringing up

Because everybody needs reliable

advice and tax planning advice and in financial advice for your business because if you don't really hard to sustain this

lifestyle, yes, so

that's all I wanted to have a Kristal on the show today, but just as a

Just as a regular digital Nomad - What advice would you give to people? because you, or we have a very similar background

We both did the right things. We're the same age

We followed the linear path in life of going to college going to grad school

Getting internships and all of that stuff and I ended up basically

Exiting out of that

Abruptly, it's like when the when they eject you from an airplane like a parachute. That's how I got out at 21

accidentally 21 or 22, but

Kristy was in it for her... (Kristal) Right Kristal. Sorry - Kristal was in it for

Years. So what would you say now that you have more of an insight look into the corporate,

Traditional lifestyle than I do... What would you say it to people who might be in

professional roles who are at a company that

forces them to

Clock in for at least eight hours a day and they feel like there's something missing and they can do their job from somewhere else

But they're just not sure if they could actually do it themselves. - What advice do you have?

I say I mean, honestly you just got to do it. You got to feel the fear and

Face it. Anyways, I mean, it's just a fear of the unknown

And once you're on the other side of that fear you realize that you know the freedom and the flexibility that this lifestyle entails

You know

like I said earlier you get to do what you love while doing what you love and you get to see amazing places and

Do amazing things!

So don't let fear stand in your way

You know, I can embrace it and see what it's like on the other side

Yes, if she could leave a traditional southern

firm in

Alabama and

Spend this year in Bulgaria and Chile and Mexico

And all sorts of other cool places - like her life completely changed in a matter of months and that could happen to you guys, too

So if you have any questions about tax season or becoming a digital Nomad or anything else,

Write in the comments and one of us will answer and I hope to see you guys again tomorrow

On another live video here on traveling with Kristin. (Pino:So thanks for having me!) Bye from frozen Bulgaria!

Selling Digital Products On Amazon - Product Research Tutorial - Duration: 20:41.

hello James Greaney here from internetbizuni.com and in today's video I'm

gonna be bringing you a really exciting tutorial on my computer I'm gonna be

showing you how you can find digital products that will make amazing

complementary products to go with the physical products that you already sell

on Amazon or if you haven't started selling on Amazon yet products that you

will sell in the future I'm going to be showing you real-life examples of

products that are currently for sale on Amazon that have digital products

attached to them so what I mean by digital products is basically either an

app an e-book or a video course these are the three main types of digital

products I'm going to be showing you the different products that have these

digital products attached to them so that you can get ideas for digital

products to add to your products if you already sell on Amazon or if you are

planning to start in 2019 digital products are great to add with physical

products for three main reasons reason number one is that they connect you more

with your customer the more times you can be in contact with your customer the

more connected your customer will be to you and the more loyal that customer

will become to your brand the second reason is that it can help make your

product listing more unique it makes your product listing standout when you

are looking through Amazon as a customer and you're going through the search

results you're going to see a lot of similar product listings having a

digital product attached to yours is going to make your listing stand out

against your competitors product listings as well as this the third

reason is just simply it gives more to your customers than your competitors if

your competitors aren't attaching a digital product to wit their products

then it simply gives your customers more than what their customers are getting

which is always a benefit and the best thing about them is in most cases they

don't cost any money to add to your product so if you are currently looking

to make your product unique to make your product stand out usually the changes

that you're going to make to your product is going to cost extra in

manufacturing costs per unit whereas if you create a digital product you

have a small upfront cost but that's it that's the one off cost if you were to

add something simple just like digital ebook then you can simply create this

for free I have no cost whatsoever and it

therefore still makes your product more unique than some of your competitors if

your competitors aren't doing this without actually adding any cost to your

costs so you can basically improve your profit margin by simply just adding a

digital product to your product listing so without further ado I'm just gonna

jump straight into it now and give you some examples of products that are

already for sale on Amazon that have digital products attach them so that you

can stack in ideas for digital products to attach to your product and also on a

side note I'm reopening the unique private label course today and I will

explain more about that at the end of this video so if you are interested in

joining the unique private label course then you can watch the end of this video

where I explain exactly how you can do that ok so I'm over here on amazon.com

now and I'm just gonna give you a way that you can start getting some ideas of

the types of digital products that you could add to your product to add value

to the customer and to your offering so to do that I just go up to the Amazon

search bar and you just type in for the type of digital product that you're

trying to check out so for this example we'll just type in free app and then

what you want to do here is you want to put the category that you want to search

in if you search in all it won't work so for this one we'll just go health and

kitchen there's a lot of people who sell in their health and kitchen space so

then once I've this entered just go ahead and press enter now what you want

to do when you're on this page is just look around at the different products

see if there's any products that are similar to yours what type of digital

product are they adding in order to add value so as you can see here there's a

lot of products that have free apps with them a lot of weighing scales come with

it because you know people who are by no means give usually I look into

lose weight so there's lots of apps that can help them do that that's the sort of

thing that you're looking for is what can your digital product do to help the

customer further so what problem is your product solvent in the first place and

how much further kind of digital product go in order to help your customer with

that problem so I'm just gonna scroll down here and see if I can see any

product that kind of stands out as something different so for this example

I'm just gonna look at this one this is just a baby handprint and footprint

memory frame so I just want to see what type of digital product they have added

or what type of app it's obviously an app that comes with this but I'm not

sure what type of app so includes free digital content in the wave hello voice

share app okay so they've added a voice share app to this one to see if I can

see any more on it here so yeah available on iOS and Android okay so

this gives more about the product down here in the description so this is the

voice share app that this product comes with so basically allows you to record

and share voice messages lullabies and books with your family so basically this

product owner knows that whoever is buying this product has young children

and this is an app that benefits that customer so they know that because

anyone who purchases this product is going to have young children that's

going to benefit from this app that they have created or partnered up with to

give away with their product so as you can see that's just one simple way that

a physical product owner has gone out and changed their product round made

their product offering more unique by offering a free app that actually helps

the customer further and the best part about adding a free app is you can

literally develop a very simple app for free so like it's not going to add to

your costs and a bit and as I could see now from that brand name it is their own

branded app that they've made with their product but yeah it's just so

simple to make digital products now and attach them to your product and they do

add so much value because when you're comparing the different products you're

comparing the entire offering you're not simply going onto Amazon as a customer

and just picking off the cheapest product you're looking at the total

offering off that product what you're going to get with it and if the digital

product that you decide to sell with your product complements your product

then it's only going to help sales more than help and sales it's gonna help your

customer more which is in turn gonna make your customer more loyal to your

brand and that's what it's all about you want to build a long-term brand here not

just simply selling any random products and to do that you want customers coming

back repeat purchasing your product so once you launch a new product again and

again you want customers coming back for that and the best way to do that is by

giving your customers additional value not just doing the bare minimum what

every other seller is doing as you can see here there's going to be some

markets where even adding the lights of an ass with it isn't gonna make any

difference like we can see straightaway that with these two wayne scales there's

apps with this weighing scale down here there's an app so again if that's the

case if you're in America like that that's already full of the type of

digital product that you were thinking about offering then that's kind of the

bare minimum if every product has an app and then you decide to add an app to

your product it's not going to make your product stand out from your competitors

product but if you're in America like this wave hello and you add an app then

it is going to make your offering unique compared with your competitors and again

it's not only apps you can add you can add free video courses with us again

which can be delivered on mobile and delivered for free to your customer you

can add ebooks although ebooks there's one thing with

them there's a lot of people doing them so I'll just go up here again and type

them in there's a lot of different brands do free ebooks so the value with

an e-book isn't as great as a video course or an app so I'm

gonna type in free ebook here and you can do this in any category obviously

some categories will have a lot more than others I'm just gonna leave this in

the Holman kitchen for now but yeah you can type free ebook or free app into any

of the categories and you will see the listings with them so what it does is it

will bring up whichever listings are indexed for that so not every listing

will be indexed for free ebook but some of them will sow listings that have it

in their title and in their bullets then they should be indexed for us and they

should come up when you do these searches but we'll just have a look and

see what ebooks are offered so we can see this one what's this smart air

purifier okay so that looks more of an app but they're saying ebook but yeah I

want to see one with a typical ebook so this one here this is craft paper rolled

so what's this product here this is pink butcher craft paper roll and it comes

with an e-book that offers barbecue ribs and barbecue sauce recipes so again this

seller knows that customers who are buying this pink butcher paper old are

also into barbecuing so they've gave eBook to complement this product which

gives barbecue recipes so anyone who's into barbecue

may also be into reading about barbecue sauce recipes so that's just another

idea that you can have if you sell a product that may be in the food market

that's targeted at people who are interested in cooking then obviously

recipe books and books about cookin will be of value to them but again it's

really important to check out your own market because if every listing is given

an e-book and ebooks are so simple and can be freely made so quickly that there

are a lot of brands already doing this so again if you just go and add another

ebook with your recipes against all the other products that have this then it's

not going to add to your uniqueness and your offering it's just gonna look

pretty much the same as your competitors but again there

is other ways like you can offer a video course which actually shows them cooking

a certain product and again this video course will have the perception to be

off more value than an e-book because it's not every day of the week that

you're gonna get a free video course showing you how to do something whereas

there are a lot of products out there already that come with free ebooks so

your free video course will be valued more by the customer especially if you

can teach them something off value and it doesn't have to be an item that takes

you a long time to create like a ten minute video course a 15 minute video

course that actually teaches someone something is more valuable than an hour

long video course that teaches them the same thing literally it's about getting

across what you want to teach them in the shortest time possible and there are

also niche experts in your field that you can parent with and get them to

create the videos for your course and they get the benefit because every

customer that comes along that purchases your product and then watches the free

video course is promotion for them so there are a lot of creative ways that

you can go about getting digital products that actually complement your

product and add a lot of value to your product and that will result in you

being able to charge more for your product make a higher profit marriage

offer your product and basically get customers to buy into your brand more

because they will have more touch points with your brand rather than simply just

purchasing your product off Amazon and never communicate what your brand again

whereas if they are reading your ebook or watching your video course or using

your app on a daily basis then they're touching base with your brand more

regularly than they would if they just simply purchased a product of you so

that's just a quick example showing you how some sellers are already making

their products stand out more by adding digital products that complement the

physical products that they already sell and this will hopefully start giving you

some ideas off digital products that you can add to your product if you already

have a product that's selling on Amazon or if you're just creating a product it

can get you thinking of what app or what ebook or what video

course can you add to make your offering more unique than your competitors I've

also put together a video course explaining each of the steps so there's

15 videos inside the video course explaining each of the steps from

finding your own digital product what the most suited digital product for you

to add with the products that you sell getting your digital product creation so

whether that's an e-book you can simply create that yourself I'll show you how

to do that I'll show you how to create an app yourself for free I'll show you

how you can hire an app developer if you want to create a more complex app I'll

show you exactly how you can partner with an expert if you want to get a

video course done and again the video course doesn't have to be a long-winded

video course just something short and simple a new comparator with niche

experts that are already out there teaching this stuff and get them to

create a video course for your product and I show you how to do all of that

inside this new course that I've put together so I'll just jump inside now

and show you a quick preview offer so that you know if it's for you okay so

I'm now inside the members area of the digital product creation and I'm just

gonna run through the videos that are inside with you there are 15 videos and

they're just done in a step-by-step form showing you my computer screen as I take

the actions so that you can just copy what I'm do and take the actions

yourself so the first one is just a basic introduction to the course and

explain a bit about them the second one explains about the different types of

digital products and how you can find a digital product that actually

complements the product that you already sell or you are going to sell this third

video again goes onto Amazon and shows you how to find complimentary digital

products for your type of products and to check out what it is that your

competitors are already doing and the fourth video shows you how to get

professional product cover made for your digital product because again your

packaging is going to be so important with your digital product the fifth

video explains how you can make your images for your product

you have your product images how you can quickly and for free make your digital

product come in on your main images again it's really simple to do I show

you how to do that in video 5 and video 6 I'll show you how to create an e-book

for free in video 7 I'll show you how to partner with an expert again

you can partner with an expert for free or you can pay a partner I explain all

that inside video 7 in video 8 I explain how to create a video course for

yourself and this is exactly how I create video courses so it just gives

you exactly what you need to know in a quick tutorial on how to do it and then

in video 9 I explained how you can hire someone to build your app for you so if

you want to build a big complex app you're gonna have to hire an app

developer to do that for you and in video 9 explain how you can go about

doing that video 10 I'll show you how to create an app for free yourself I go

through all of this with you inside so I show you exactly how I've done it in the

past so that you can basically just copy along and yeah follow the instructions

and do it for yourself in video 11 I show you how you can host

your video course for free so if you do decide to create a video course to

complement your product I'll show you how you can host that course for free in

video 12 or I show you how to email direct access out to your customers so

anyone who purchased your product you're gonna have to give the access show you

how to do that in video 13 I'll show you how to create the insert card that

you're gonna also send out to your customers and I'll give you a free

template for doing that so it's basically copy and paste and just put in

your own brand details and that's is that free template is good to go good to

send out as an insert card with your products video 14 I'll show you how to

connect the app with Manny tat so if you do make an app or if you make a video

course I'll show you how to connect it up with Manny chat so that you can get

subscribers on to your Manny chat list for free that have already bought into

your brand and this is something extremely powerful because this allows

you to build a list of your current customers that

buy your products through Amazon and again it's really simple to do I show

you less than five minutes how to connect it all up with mani chat so as

you can see that's pretty much it that's the 15 videos in a step-by-step format

showing you everything that you need to know about creating a digital product

that complements your products that you sell on Amazon and creating it and

getting it delivered out to your customers it just shows you it all in

these quick videos the course is less just less than an hour long and

literally it goes through each of the steps that you need to take to create a

digital product to complement your physical product and I created this

course on its own it took me ages to actually put all of these videos

together but I finally got them all put together and created this course and I

was going to sell it for 195 pounds and then I just thought it's actually gonna

benefit the people going through the unique private labour course so much

that instead I'm just gonna put it inside the Uni primal labour course so

instead of actually selling this course individually for 195 pounds I put it

inside the unique private labour course which is for sale for 195 pounds just

today I've just opened it again so yeah I'm not going to give you any long sales

pitch and why you should or shouldn't buy it if you're interested in it if you

want a step-by-step course teaching you how to make digital products then yeah

you can sign up for the unique private label course now when you would guess

this entire course free with it and you can start making digital products

literally today that complement the products that you sell on Amazon or that

you are going to sell on Amazon in the future and also as with anat and I sell

once you buy it you get lifetime access there's no just simply trying to upsell

you to other things it's simple if you buy into the unique private label course

then you've unlimited lifetime access like any updates I make in the future

you get unlimited access to them and I constantly make updates when I see

things that are actually working myself firsthand so if you're already a member

then you will get this included in your package for the unique private label

course and if you just sign up to the unique private label course now

then you will also get a D update that I made to it in the future for free so

it's up to you if you want to join then click on the link below I leave it in

the description for the unique private label course and sign up and yeah let me

know when you're inside because with every member who signs up I have a one

on one call with them again this call can be done at any time just once it

suits both of us so yeah let me know when you're inside and we'll arrange a

call together and as always if you have any questions about this video or about

anything else then just drop them down in the comments below this video and I

will answer them for you I look forward to speaking to you on the next video bye

learning management system, Sakai.

By the end of this workshop, you'll be ready to begin creating

accessible digital learning content.

So what does it mean to have accessible digital learning content?

Well, if you think about the content you post in Sakai –

all of your documents, presentations, videos, hyperlinks, and more,

there's a student on the other end who's taking in and learning

from all of that material.

However, you might not always know how that student is accessing the content.

The student might be using a new computer, or maybe an

older computer, maybe a slower internet connection, a mobile device, or perhaps assistive technology.

Assistive technology is any equipment or product that's

used to increase, maintain, or improve functional capabilities

of a person with a disability.

It's technology that a student with a disability might use

to perform tasks on the computer, such as a visually impaired student

using a screen reader to voice synthesize all

of the text on-screen or a refreshable braille display

to convert all of the text on-screen to braille.

It could be a modified keyboard, a pointer, or a sip and puff device

that allows a mobility-impaired student to input commands into the computer.

A student with a hearing impairment and a cochlear implant might rely

on a connection from the computer to the implant's sound processor

to amplify the sound.

So, accessible digital learning content is computer and internet content that

is available to all students, regardless of the device or computer

in which an individual student might use to interact with it.

That sounds pretty reasonable, right?

As educators, we want our content to be available to all of our learners.

This idea is akin to the universal design that we see

all around us in the non-digital world.

You know, those dual water fountains, automatic door openers, curb cuts,

and stair ramps.

They were designed for ––and are most definitely helpful to—–

people who must use wheelchairs; however, these modifications are

so integrated into the landscape, that they have become unquestionably universal.

For example, people not quite tall enough to reach the taller water fountain

use the shorter one, people carrying boxes and

unable to manually open a door use the automatic door opener,

people pushing strollers and needing to cross the street use curb cuts,

and people pushing dollies and needing to bypass the stairs

to get into a building use stair ramps.

In one way or another, more people than just the group

for which they were originally intended find these modifications useful.

This concept of Universal Design is applicable to your digital learning content.

That's what making it accessible is all about!

All of your students will be able to access your content regardless

of the tool in which they use to do it and regardless of whether or not

they have a disability.

This universal access is what the North Carolina

Community College System wants, as well.

In 2014, the system sent a memo to all 58 community college presidents

to bring digital accessibility to their attention.

Since then, Durham Tech and our sister community colleges have

worked toward implementing digital accessibility plans that

will help ensure our digital content is accessible.

Aside from the learning benefits, accessibility also has roots

in several United States laws, including Section 504 of the

Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

These laws were created to forbid discrimination

of individuals based on disability.

They highlight the many ways that institutions must provide equal access,

which includes ensuring access to online and digital content.

Because Durham Tech receives federal funds through financial aid and

other federal programs, we are obligated to follow these laws, but...

the truth is, it's the right thing to do.

Now that more and more students are taking online and hybrid classes

and most of our instructors use our learning management system,

it's important that the materials and content we post there are accessible.

An international community, known as the World Wide Web Consortium,

developed the set of guidelines and techniques that we are following.

These guidelines are known as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 or

WCAG 2.1.

In this workshop, we won't delve deeply into all of the guidelines,

but all of the design principles and techniques presented are based on meeting

WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance.

If you're interested in learning more about which guidelines are covered

in this workshop, please download the WCAG 2.1 document

located in the Orientation Module.

We have also adapted the applicable guidelines

into useful digital accessibility checklists that

you'll receive throughout this workshop.

We're glad you're here, and we're looking forward to your participation

in this course!

When you're ready, click Syllabus on the course menu

to learn more about the workshop expectations.

And I'll see you again at the end of the workshop!

The Internet Digital and Direct Marketing - Duration: 2:57.

Hello everybody and welcome to Principles of E-Business, my name is Andy Ohemeng Asare.

For this week our topic is on the Internet, digital and direct marketing.

The internet and direct marketing are possible ingredients in the promotional mix – along

with personal selling, sales promotion, direct mail, advertising, public relations and sponsorship.

Together, they form the marketing communications toolkit for marketers and brand managers.

Direct mail and the Internet play an important role in the execution of marketing strategies.

Direct marketing, a term frequently cited by marketers these days, is a growing tool.

Although direct marketing is partly an aspect of marketing channel selection – in this

case opting not to utilize some of the services of channel intermediaries – there are implications

for marketer's promotional strategies, as discussed in this chapter.

The growth of digital marketing is huge and alters the rules of engagement for marketers.

The uses, characteristics, and strengths and weaknesses of direct mail are considered.

The chapter then explores the role of the Internet in marketing communications and e-commerce,

along with the role of digital marketing.

The chapter concludes by examining the manner in which direct marketing has grown in popularity,

with associated implications for many ingredients of the promotional mix.

This chapter will begin with a brief look at personal selling, its basic steps, the

types of salespeople involved in personal selling and how they are selected.

This is followed by a look at the role of the Internet in marketing, digital marketing

and the growing use of direct marketing.

At the end of this week you should be able to

Describe the nature and major purposes of personal selling

Identify the basic steps in the personal selling process

Identify the types of sales force personnel Examine insight into sales management decisions

and activities Assess the role of key account management

Describe sales promotion activities are and how they can be used.

Finally you will be able to, Identify specific sales promotion methods

Thanks for watching and see you in my next video.

Bye!

6 Simple Ways to Avoid Digital Burnout - Duration: 4:47.

Hi, I'm Sharmin from Digital Cooldown and this is a series that is all about how

can you notice our healthier online habits and so here are some tactics to

help you deal with digital burnout the first thing is slow down do things at

least 50% slower than you would usually do if you're reading an article you know

read more slowly like why do you have to read it so quickly if you're an

Instagram then really just appreciate this

it could be just like looking up at a dog for example and being like oh isn't

this I taking the moment to just kind of appreciate like its warm eyes and it's

cute little wet nose and it's silly kind of facial expressions the second thing I

recommend is do less okay so this comes down to like prioritization you know if

you if if there are three things that you have to do today what are they the

third thing I'd recommend is finding healthier wastes procrastinate things

like tidying up for instance like do the whole meri condo thing go to your

wardrobe and files and clothes I don't know whatever oh go for a walk

so to do what works for you but what I recommend is something that you know

requires a different physical posture so like maybe stretching

anything that kind of takes you away from you know just kind of I don't know

having your head down being quite slumped and being information-based

as well you know say even if it's just sitting down with nothing around you

taking five minutes to daydream and you know be bored out of your mind

that is a good way of doing something and I say make sure of something that

you want to do because you don't want to say okay my healthier way of

procrastinating is to do a an intense 45-minute here exercise routine which

means you just end up procrastinating even more from that and then beating

yourself up so you just come up with a list of things which are healthy

procrastination tactics and another thing I recommend that you do is to

check in just check in with yourself and how you actually feel at this moment I

mean if you're feeling tired and exhausted you know don't deal with that

by going to Instagram the tenth time and looking at puppies like that's tall it's

not necessarily going to help just just stop but I can't think how do I feel

right now like really is it sad is it angry

he just super super excited about something

and then remind yourself of why you're doing something and the other thing I

recommend is commit commit to something because even going through the process

of decision making is exhausting you're like oh should I reply to this email

right now what should I say should I reply to this message or should I go on

Twitter I can get rid of that kind of decision-making anxiety know what you're

doing and commit to it and the final thing I recommend is simplifying your

digital space so if you're watching this on a laptop you know ask yourself how

many tabs you have open right now like do you need all of them open so you know

I would say like one task one tab like one screen so I hope that you find these

tactics useful for dealing with digital burnout I think it is something that is

quite serious if we're constantly training ourselves to distract ourselves

and to interrupt ourselves then because he training us has to be in a constant

state of high alert and we're rewarding ourselves for for being distracted

instead of bleeding like meaningful lives and so on that note thank you for

watching this video remember to subscribe because there's a new video

every week and slow down like whatever you want to

do next remember to slow down to last commit to something and if you find

yourself exhausted have healthy aquatic Rastan ation check in with yourself and

simplify your digital space so enjoy that and I'll see you next week my next

Digital transformation @ SNCF - Duration: 6:44.

I am Henri Pidault,

I am the chief performance officer

in charge of the digital transformation at SNCF.

I am Magali Dupin,

I am in charge of the continuous improvement

within the maintenance center of Saint-Pierre des Corps.

Digital solutions help us do better,

we are all convinced of that.

But the question is how to make them accessible to all employees.

The goal of this initiative is to provide digital

tools to the entire company.

The idea is make useful digital tools

available to everyone anytime.

With the advent of enterprise social networks,

we deployed Yammer.

which quickly took off throughout the company.

So that was really our first success

with our initiative "Digital for all".

I am Sylvain Martin,

I work for the SNCF group.

My mission is to promote agile application development.

We digitized the reporting of incidents

that occurred on the railway network.

PowerApps with Flow and Power BI (Power Platform)

truly allow us to digitize our business processes.

In few days, we managed to create an app

which data was stored in SharePoint.

All the real time analysis is done in Power BI.

The incidents are transferred and are dealt by the relevant teams.

When we implemented and explained the potential

of these digital tools.

We empowered each employee

whether they work at night or during the day,

to innovate and share their idea on how to improve

their work on a daily basis.

For instance, for our maintenance process,

we have an app called "DigiBogie".

We rebuild bogies from scratch.

we did everything on paper,

They might be risks of errors, etc.

70% of the paired bogies ended up being unsatisfactory,

which forced us to start over the pairing process.

By using the app, we are sure that our

calculations are accurate and that the pairings are well done.

DigiBogie belongs to those great innovations

that allow us to strengthen our production processes,

and make them more reliable.

We built this app,

Digital Linguistic Application (ALN),

which creates a dialog and reduce tensions

with drivers that are under time constraint.

Hence, we created an exchange platform via tablets

that allow us to communicate more easily with each other.

These new tools PowerApps, Flow and Power BI,

made different business units autonomous

while using this platform.

I am not a developer,

but I was able to quickly learn PowerApps.

Thanks to my two years experience

creating many applications serving local needs,

I now joined eSNCF,

where I am helping others at the division and the company level.

I am Cassandra Cornilleau,

head of the Digital School within eSNCF.

We are proposing a curriculum with onsite and online classes

that meets the needs of everyone

and help them improve their skills in PowerApps.

For us the goal is to bring to life even more projects

by the field for the field.

Today, we trained more than 738 person,

since January,

on SharePoint, Power BI and more recently on PowerApps.

These classes are going really well!

I am Ludovic Malandra,

I am part of the performance and digital transformation team at SNCF.

My role is to create synergy between various groups

including IT, Digital School and business units

to let them work in a different way.

to let them work in a different way.

The fact that we are a large organization meant

that we needed to put in place governance and monitoring

given us a broad view of the adoption of the Power Platform.

We quickly realized that we needed

our own store to share our experience.

In this store, we find all the apps and their features.

What's important here is to promote the most successful apps.

The question that we should keep in mind

to help with this transformation is

what is the role of the IT department?

So we worked in the repositioning of IT

under specific themes which are:

Providing meaningful app references,

Exposing important information system via APIs,

So that business units can consume

these references and APIs in a horizontal fashion.

We re-positioned IT strategy around these themes

so that it embrace this platform and does not resist it

for fear of losing its prerogative with the business.
