Pres. Moon vows to fulfill his duty to 23 last survivors of Japan's sexual slavery - Duration: 0:44.

President Moon Jae-in has paid tribute to the late Kim Bok-dong, writing on his Facebook

page that her testimony at the UN Human Rights Committee had (quote-unquote) "brought to

light a hidden history" and gave others the "courage to face the truth."

Kim was considered the most prominent Korean survivor of sexual enslavement by Japan.

President Moon promised he will "never forget to set history right" and will fulfill his

duty to the 23 survivors still living.

He also praised the late Kim for not wanting to be portrayed as a victim -- and instead

"pushing for an apology for imperial Japan's atrocities and for legal compensation."

Earlier this month, President Moon had visited Kim at the hospital where she was battling

cancer.

Top 10 Cherry Blossom Spots in Tokyo | japan-guide.com - Duration: 6:08.

Tokyo is Japan's capital, most populated metropolis, and also boasts more cherry blossom-viewing

hotspots than anywhere else in the country.

Nestled amid its giant buildings and winding expressways are a plethora of parks, gardens,

tree-lined lanes and riverbanks that offer some of the best sakura experiences in all Japan.

Visitors from around the world flock to Tokyo each spring to take in the beautiful blossoms.

In the average year, the peak of sakura season occurs during one week in early April.

However depending on temperatures in the preceding weeks, the peak can start in late March or

last into mid April.

It is also worth mentioning that due to the variety of cherry trees found throughout the

city, even if you are visiting a few weeks on either side of this zone, you should still

be able to find a few blossoms.

With so many spots to choose from, we thought we'd make planning your perfect, petal-filled

trip a little easier by giving a quick rundown of our Top 10 cherry blossom locations in Tokyo.

Number 10: Koishikawa Botanical Garden

Belonging to the prestigious Tokyo University,

Koishikawa Botanical Garden is home to thousands of varieties of trees and plants as well as

a beautiful landscape garden.

During spring it doesn't get as crowded as other popular sakura spots around the city,

making for a pleasant atmosphere for visitors to enjoy the blossoms.

Numer 9: The Meguro River

The Meguro River is an attractive canal lined

with hundreds of cherry trees and a plethora of shops and cafes in one of the capital's

hippest neighborhoods.

During peak season, the many bridges which span the waterway provide picturesque views

of the river crowded by pink petals so don't forget to bring your camera.

Number 8: Koishikawa Korakuen

Among Tokyo's prettiest traditional gardens,

Koishikawa Korakuen is particularly famous for its weeping cherry trees, which take center

stage in spring among the park's many other picturesque features.

Number 7: Asukayama Park

This hilltop park in the north of the city

has been popular as an atmospheric hanami spot since the Edo Period and still attracts

a large number of cherry blossom lovers of all ages even now.

Number 6: Yoyogi Park

One of the city's more well-known parks.

Yoyogi sits across the street from the stylish Harajuku neighborhood and directly next to

the famous Meiji Shrine.

This expansive park is a hotspot for hanami parties, having enough space for a lively

atmosphere to prevail here throughout the season.

Number 5: Showa Kinenkoen

With over a thousand trees, this huge, family-friendly

park is located 30 minutes west of Tokyo.

The abundant blossoms here typically bloom a few days later than those in central Tokyo,

making the park popular with those who missed hanami downtown.

Aside from the cherry blossoms, the park also boasts other beautiful flowers and a variety

of facilities and amenities.

Number 4: Sumida Park

During spring the walking paths along the

shores of this picturesque river become lined with pink petals.

Located only a short walk from the famous Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, Sumida park is

an ideal place for visitors to take in views of the iconic Tokyo Skytree framed by cherry blossoms.

Number 3: Chidorigafuchi

One of the most photogenic sakura spots in

the city, Chidorigafuchi consists of a path alongside the sakura-lined moat of former

Edo Castle just west of the Imperial Palace.

For a fee, visitors can even rent a rowboat to paddle around in the old moat.

This atmospheric area makes for a charming petal-filled stroll both during the day, and

also in the evening during nightly illuminations..

Lastly, the nearby Yasukuni Shrine is home to hundreds more cherry trees, including Tokyo's

representative tree, which the meteorological agency uses to determine the state of the

sakura season for the entire city.

Number 2: Ueno Park

Ueno Park is the most renowned party spot

in all of Tokyo during sakura season, and is a true hanami haven packed with vistiors

enjoying the festivities both in the upper section where the wide central walking path

is located and also around Shinobazu Pond in the lower section.

The park's paths are lined with hundreds of cherry trees, and it's recommended to

get here early if you intend to get a place under one.

Number1: Shinjuku Gyoen

This large, family-friendly park stands as

a natural oasis in one of Tokyo's busiest districts.

This peaceful park boasts over one thousand cherry trees which span a range of species

and bloom at different times during the season, making Shinjuku Gyoen a great place to visit

for blossom enthusiasts who are in town a little before or after peak season.

One point to be aware of is that the park doesn't allow alcohol inside and so is not

a good option for visitors intent on enjoying their hanami with some drinks.

Nevertheless, with so many beautiful scenes and sakura viewing opportunities throughout

its vast and varied grounds, Shinjuku Gyoen takes the cake as our number one sakura location

in all of Tokyo.

So there you have it, our top ten cherry blossom spots in Tokyo.

Hopefully this video helps you to plan your perfect petal-filled trip.

More in-depth information on the cherry blossoms can be found in the dedicated section of our website

Perchè il Giappone è PULITO? - Duration: 10:30.

hello everyone and welcome in this new video

considering that I'm becoming a serious youtuber

and all serious youtubers have those xmas lights in their background

and... how about me?

so I went to IKEA to buy them too!

I still don't know what I'm supposed to do with them

anyway let's use them in another video. seba and the chirstmas light!

today we are doing a new serious video talking about JAPANESE CULTURE

and I would like to answer to this question: WHY JAPAN IS SO CLEAN?

in this video I will tell you the 3 reasons why Japan is so clean!

before we start let me reminds you that tomorrow I'm releasing another video talking about this subject with Lilletta on my other channel, so make sure to subscribe to that one too!

my first answer when I've just moved to Japan waas: probably because there are not trash cans around the city

but it is not like that, because Japan before the attacks of Omu Cult used to have those until 1995

so the REAL reasons must be something else

and in this video I will tell my opinion!

the first reason must be EDUCATION

the students in Japan will take turn and clean their classroom after the lessons are over

and this set into the mind of young Japanese the idea that : If I don't make the classroom dirty, it will be faster to clean it!

and also the fact that maybe you don't want your friend to have a hard time to clean the classroom when is his turn, it teaches Japanese to respect the others!

and maybe this is one of the reason why Japanese classroom are so clean compare to the majority of Italian schools

and also the students (also kindergarden) often serve lunch or snacks, and they have to wear hats and wash their hands. This teaches them the importance of hygiene

the second reason is connected to culture and traditions

infact in Japan there is a kami (to keep it simple, a shintoist god) called Bimbogami

he is the God of poverty

people says that if you keep you room messy, he will come and bring you misery and sickness + poverty!

so this makes people in Japan connecting poverty + dirty

and even if not all Japanese belive in this thing, they still respect it

and let me give you an example, as I've told you before in Japan you can throw away trash in places where you aren't supposed too

however it happens expecially in some forest, so to avoid this to happen

some prefectures took actions in Japan by putting some rapresentation of Torii (a in shinto is a portal that is placed before a sacred zone)

and this has limited the throwing away the garbage in these areas of the forest

and you can see those rapresentations of Torii around the city too!

Those are there to avoid that drunk people pxx on their house... well it... it's a fact!

or to avoid the get robbed

"god is watching you" might help avoiding those problems!

the 3rd reason is PUBLIC IMAGE

in fact, parents often tell their children that they are making noise, for example, in a restaurant that everyone is watching

this feeling enters the mind of the Japanese who often feel observed or could be seen

in fact there are also other signs with the inscription "miteiruzo" (I'm watching you)

this is perhaps also one of the reasons why many Japanese are silent on the trains, do not make many manifestations of affection in public, etc

it is also important to keep in mind that shopkeepers and apartment owners in addition to cleaning their buildings also clean the exterior and the road ahead.

and since there are shops everywhere, Japan is kept extremely clean

I have often seen groups of Japanese volunteers find themselves in the various neighborhoods to clean their neighborhood in the weekend,

for example the day after halloween a group of people dressed like super heroes goes around shibuya and clean from the mess of the night before

such a great idea!

please let me know you opinion!

you shoul all try to keep your city clean!

expecially us italian, we live in a beautiful place like italy let's try to make it as clean as Japan!

I hope you had enjoy this video, don't forget to leave me a thumb up

so you can help this channel grow, and see you in my next video ;)

Two Korean victims of Japan's WW2 sexual slavery die, including respected activist - Duration: 2:33.

A reminder of how time's running our for Japan to acknowledge its shameful past and offer

sincere apology to victims of heinous warcrimes.

Last night, another Korean survivor of the japanese military's wartime sex slavery passed

away.

She was Kim Bok-dong, who devoted her life to increasing global awareness of Tokyo's

past atrocities, and fighting for girls who were victimized during wars.

Lee Ji-won starts us off with a look back at how she lived.

93-year-old Kim Bok-dong, who was sexually enslaved by Japan during World War Two, died

Monday night after a battle with cancer.

For 30 years, Kim had fought tirelessly for women's rights and to raise awareness of Japan's

wartime sexual slavery.

Her three-day funeral, which started Tuesday, was attended by hundreds of mourners, including

President Moon Jae-in, who became the first sitting president to go to the funeral of

one of the sex slavery victims.

Kim's last moments were shared by the head of a Korean civic group called Justice and

Remembrance for the Issues of Military Sexual Slavery by Japan.

She said Kim asked her to never give up fighting until the issue is resolved.

At the age of 14, Kim was taken away by Japanese soldiers and told she would "work in a factory."

But instead, she was forced to serve as a sex slave for Japanese troops in China, Hong

Kong, Indonesia and other places.

It was only after eight years that she could return to her homeland.

In 1992, Kim started sharing her painful stories, and became an activist for women's human rights.

In 1993, Kim became the first victim to share the facts of Japan's sexual slavery at the

World Conference on Human Rights.

She continued her activism by meeting with affected individuals and international groups,

participating in protests and creating funds to help girls who have been sexually abused

in wars like she was.

But after all those years, she died without a sincere apology from Japan.

"We will continue protesting until Japan sincerely apologizes and compensates the victims."

Her protest against Japan will continue even after her death -- on Friday, her coffin will

be carried through Seoul, including the streets in front of the Japanese embassy.

Kim passed away the same day as another victim -- a 93-year-old woman known to the media

only by her surname Lee, who had suffered from poor health.

In 1947, at the age of 17, Lee had been kidnapped on her way home from work and taken to work

in brothels.

There are now only 23 South Korean victims still alive.

But their wishes for legal compensation and a sincere apology from Japan have yet to come.

Seoul and Tokyo agreed under the previous Park administration to set up a foundation

to help the victims.

But because the 2015 deal did not reflect the victim's wishes, Seoul informed Tokyo

last November that it would be disbanding the group.

Last week it officially canceled its approval of the foundation, prompting protests from

Japan.

South Korea remains firm that it will neither renegotiate nor scrap the deal, but it continues

to urge Japan that to solve this problem will require more sincere efforts.

Lee Ji-won, Arirang News.

REACTING to FUNNY JAPANESE LEARNING MEMES | Kanji, JLPT + Language Tips - Duration: 14:10.

HEY GUYS! I'm Loretta and welcome to my channel!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Notice I've been uploading more recently?

A big reason for that is

is that last Thursday, thanks to all of your support

and those who participated in my research last year

my graduate school thesis is now officially

SUBMITTED AND DONE!!!

I'm bursting with ideas, video ideas, things I want to try out for you

to help you guys save a little money, save a little time

but before we got into that I thought we could start

with a brief, New Years Party!

Today we're going to look at a react to:

Japanese language learning memes and language learning memes in general.

Let's do it!

We're going to have a bit of party drink~!

This is Fanta yogurt banana flavor w/ extra Vitamin B6

because that's what we drink at a party!!

I also have some seasonal, new Hi-chew!

It's called "Precious Strawberry" flavor

It's got red and white strawberry.

I've got my favorite, persmission flavored Hi-Chew in case those are terrible.

So, let's look at some memes!

"Any meme from @memesugoi "

@memesugoi ? I hope this isn't rachet...

Let me check what this is...

@memesugoi is definitely not safe for work!

Anyway! So the point is!

Learning languages is valuable.

It helps you get things like jobs, and money to pay your bills

but it's also a pain in the butt!

So, while I know a bunch of us are trying to get our game up this year

I thought, let's just have fun with it!

We'll get more into that later. Back to the memes!

KANJI!...KANJI EVERYWHERE...

What quote is this from Toy Story???

what?!

Ok, that meme has nothing to do with "everywhere".

Next, does this count?

It's like an anime girl drowning in Kanji...

kanJi KaNJi KaNjI KanJi...

Yeah pretty much! The good news is,

when I first learned Japanese 15 years ago

people were still handwriting notes and new years cards

if you wanted to learn Kanji you used one of these!

But recently you have your phone, your cellphone

and a lot of the words you need are katakana now.

For example, the only word for "health" or "healthy" when I started

was "KENKOU" or "KENKOUTEKI"

Because of the vitamins and nutrients booms in Japan

words like "herushii" (healthy) are big.

In the recent video I posted with the sumo wrestler

you can even hear him saying it!

"...so it's more HEALTHY than what we ate as sumo wrestlers!"

It's healthy, "herushii"...instead of "kenkouteki".

He may have said that just because he was talking to me obviously

but people are starting to use more westernized words

especially in commercials, branding, and buzz words

you can get away with not knowing as much Japanese as you needed to

and it's pissing me off!

Because when I learned Japanese, it was kanji kanji kanji kanji

It's not as bad as it used to be (B: "Speak for yourself!")

Boku...kanji...hiragana...

What would actually make this meme better is if it said furigana!

If there's furigana, the little readings on top,

9 time out of 10 you won't even see the kanji

your eyes are just naturally going to see the furigana on top!

Ohhh... it smells so banana-y!

Let's do a taste test real quick...

Ooo, no actually this is kind of good!

This tastes like Inca Cola!!

"I'm going to sample...."

Yeah, Inca Cola with a hint of banana!

I like it. It's good!

ketsuron ni itaru made no imeji (the thought process before coming to a conclusion),

Chinese: so you start saying something,

but then you double back on what you said

Americans: Of course...but.... BOOM!

I appreciate what you had to say,

however, you're wrong!

The actual Japanese... is that right?

JAPAN! Is this even right??

I get what they're trying to say with this squiggle

but if I were to give a more real example,

Let's say you're at the office,

so you tell your boss a new idea you have.

They'll poke holes in it, and you affirm what they say

and so you make some changes but at the end of the day

you tweak your idea based on their input, and eventually

end up doing the same thing anyway.

I get the meme but the Japanese looks wrong?

Me..... wrong particle?

...juice?

Am I just like really slow on these memes?

Like you just can't help it? Like "No, don't drink it!'

but you do anyway???

Yeah, cats can't resist milk!

Ohhhh, so like, we can't resist using the wrong particle?

("Just like a cat can't resist drinking milk")

Yeah, that happens a lot.

You say something completely wrong, then you can hear it like, echo...

Oh that was so wrong!

Pretty much @Dogen 's entire timeline

this is a mood!

Dogen's really been on top of his game recently

I feel like he found a good way to utilize his Japanese ability

and still keep it funny without just showing off.

NEXT!It's what I deserve after watching too much Terrace house...

"yabai yo ne" vs. "forming an actual coherent Japanese sentence"

Terrace House is definitely kind of pioneering the young scene

bring real, fresh Japanese to people outside of Japan

E? Yabai! Doshiyo... Eeeee

It's becoming so apparent to me

when I speak to my bosses or sit in meetings

yes, I can speak formally or try to regurgitate Keigo

but at the end of the day, the words that I actually know

[speaks hyper casually]

This is a business place... you don't talk like that!

I wish there was Terrace House all in business Japanese.

Seen this prior to taking my last JLPT!

This is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

"Have you studied?" "Nope, not one bit. "Well, say goodbye to $55!"

Show of hands guys!

How many of you actually studied for the JLPT

in a planned out, organized way?

You set a goal, worked backwards and made a plan for everyday

How many of you actually did that and followed through?

[ *stares the your screen into your soul* ]

Yeah, I didn't think so!!

There's probably just one of you guys back there.

We all think the JLPT will be this great motivator and it's just depressing!

It's that time of year too! Who's signing up again?

Next meme!

Sashimi Rollin... They hatin'...

I love it!

When you speak two languages and start losing vocabulary in both of them...

BYE-lingual!

*wheezes*

I definitely appreciate this one!

This did start to happen to me!

My English is gotten pretty clunky.

It's getting better actually now that Boomer moved here

This is so true! "BYE-lingual!"

I really respect people who are truly bilingual

I did my first variety show last year

I got to co-host the show, but it might actually be live this week?

There was this girl who was half American/Japanese

she does an Kids English program on NHK

and she was the definition of actually bilingual!

This girl, from a young age, was proficient

and had no problem code-switching

but also completely switching between languages

The amount of RAM or memory

that she has to have going in her brain all the time

the mechanism that switches between both languages is well oiled!

Like omg! I'm a little jealous!

That's OK, I'll just have amazing babies who can do amazing things!

NEXT!

So these are counters!

You can count using different suffixes

I like "-ko" ikko, niko sanko

You're supposed to use certain counters for certain objects

but it's just easier to use the general counter "tsu".

[counts]

It can be hard sometimes!

You order all you can eat shabu-shabu steak

and they ask you to count how many orders to bring out at a time

But to be fair, we do this in English too!

With bread we have loaves and slices

With chickens we have wings and drumsticks...

We do the same thing!

Hehe! Speaking another language: MmmMm!

Learning another language: -__-

The idea of being able to speak another language

can be so much more glamorous than the work it takes.

"Omg are you kidding me!? There's another word?!"

"I'm still not fluent?!"

That's how I feel everyday at work!

But it's worth it! It's fun!

I made this yesterday: JOUZU

*wheezy wheezeeee*

chortle!

Did you really make this?!

This is hilarious!

Ohhh, that's too funny!

I feel like the better you get a Japanese

it's like the forbidden fruit!

You just start seeing how much more you don't know

like, "I thought I was good at this, I just learned how to doggie paddle

and now this endless ocean of languages is coming to eat me alive?!

Yeah, it definitely feels that way

the thing that also trips me up recently is that

Japanese people don't correct you as often

and even more so,

they don't speak real Japanese in front of you

if they assume you're not at that level.

Everytime I get a little bit better,

I still find myself in situations where I still have NO idea what's being said

but everyone's laughing...sO I'm lAuGhING tOo!?

WHAT IS GOING ON?!

I still have NO idea what's being said?!

When they know that you're listen and trying to keep up

you'll see people bring their Japanese level down

to something that's a big more digestible for you

but then when they talk to their friends its like

whA---?! What are they EVEN SAYING?!

I find it's actually hard to get better in Japanese

because real Japanese is being withheld.

They only speak advanced Japanese in front of you

if you speak advanced Japanese.

So it's like this weird Catch 22

where you have to get in the door before they even let you in.

This JOUZU/Jaws thing makes me think of that.

No matter how JOUZU you get

you're still gonna get eaten alive.

BUT IT'S FUN!!

I PROMISE!!

Oh god... NEXT!

(You think you're smart cuz you know Katakana?!)

Specifically working in business and in apps

and things like that,

so many words are just English words with a Japanese accent

It's like REALLY?! How much of that was Japanese?!

But if you don't say it with Japanese pronunciation

no one will know what you're saying. Be careful of that.

I wan't to try this.... KOUHAKU?

KOUHAKU (red and white) sounds like KOKUHAKU (confession)!

It tastes like a strawberry chupchup!

I'm going to have these persimmon ones later they're my favorite!

Suppaichu, the crunchy sour lemon ones are #1

and then it's kind of a toss up between the watermelon and persimmon ones!

You guys sent in some REALLY good memes!

I'm especially impressed by the JOUZU/Jaws one!

I can't believe I'm saying this but thank you for the memes!

They were actually really funny!

It is a new year

and a lot of you are getting restarted on your language learning journey.

Just don't forget to have fun!

If you're not having fun, you're not going to follow through with it

if it's frustrating or you're feeling stuck

just take a break, watch an anime, watch a drama

turn your audio on Netflix into Japanese

just do something light so you don't get too frustrated!

Really quick guys, let's talk goals!

In terms of YouTube specifically,

based on the way you guys are responding to my videos

I realized that what I want to focus on this year

is not just how cool a video looks or funky editing

I want to focus on really good content.

I mean ACTUALLY good content.

I've set two goals for myself

I am not going to put out a video

unless it either teaches something or entertains.

It has to be one or the other.

Because anything else is just me showing off

or trying to make myself feel good.

I have fun making videos. I have fun editing.

But for you guys,

It's not useful if it's not....useful!

I want these videos to be exactly what I wish I had seen when I was in college.

Real life tips, textbooks, resources

apps, learning Japanese, what to do in Japan

how to move there, how to pay taxes or student loans

I feel like I've been regurgitating the same advice for a decade now

The resources that I used are not necessarily the best anymore

there's better stuff!

I'm in a place where I can actually do something

and this year I want to help you guys save a little money

I want to help you save time, mental effort

actual useful tips, and when I'm not doing that,

just entertain and have fun!

Language is only as fun as you make it

so have some fun with it and I'll see you in the comments!

Thanks so much for watching today!

and... oh yeah!

and once again,

Happy New Year, Everyone! Let's make it a great one :) !

That was my last time tagging with Tanahashi.

I know that what makes a pro-wrestler is different for everyone, by my definition is,

Someone who devotes their life to this, that's what makes a pro-wrestler.

I've only got one more match left. It will be very emotional.

I've taken a lot of damage over these past 8 years,

But the memories I've made in this time, I'm sure because of them...

That I have become stronger.

Going forward, I'll always fight with that knowledge close to my heart.

8 years ago, here at Korakuen, Tanahashi said he'd make me a complete pro-wrestler...

I'm forever grateful to him. I'll never forget that.

8 years ago, Tanahashi was 35, the same age I am right now.

In these 8 years I always looked up to him, always sat near him on the bus.

8 years from now I'll be his current age, I want to keep going, keep wrestling.

Since becoming a pro-wrestler, it's my dream to stay one until the end.

I will give my all, tomorrow.

I'm always the one watching everyone else walk away,

So, I honestly don't know how they truly feel.

I'm not sure if I'm the best one to send them off.

I wonder how it'll go...

I don't like to be one who follows,

I don't intend for tomorrow to be a pleasant send-off.

So, tomorrow...

I'll destroy him.

Good mooooorning :3

Or as we say here in Japan

Ohayo gozaimasu! So yeah I'm in Japan again and and and and and well it's the first

day, kind of, it's actually not the first day I've been here for a few days

already - to yeah, get used to the Jetlag again and yeah I think I did now

But the past days I would like to explain you a bit about that but that

will come later because I would like to walk around again in Tokyo and because

it's mmm it may be a bit boring when I walking around so I would

like to explain some stuff I have done with my friends here in the past days

and yeah showing that stuff like in between you know what I mean

never mind so today is 月曜日 which is Monday so yeah I have actually no

clue where I'm going today I only have like three full days I can use this time

well which is like one day more than last year so it's totally fine for me

mmm and you're going to spend some other days like like next week together with

my friends so yeah I think you're going to see a lot

of stuff here and I probably cut a few parts again for the Vlog because we

just we experienced so many things in the last days I have to cut it because

there's so much stuff going on so yeah I would like to show you my room again

because this is this is not the same room as last year it's actually mirrored

so it pretty much looks like last time so it's not really big you only have a little

hallway right here and my bed which is there and a little TV some stuff and

yeah the the toilet and bathroom so.... I really like those small rooms because

you pretty much have everything you need and that's totally fine for me and

I can open the window which is very good so mmm what time is it oh yeah

何時ですか yeah I actually learned a bit Japanese for the past two and a half

years now together with two friends and I hope I can use it a bit because the

last days were actually pretty funny I mean I don't really speak Japanese yet

but I know the topic when they are talking about stuff so which is really

nice I mean it's so funny to finally understand this so yeah it's five

minutes past 8:00 now so like the last time I am starting in the morning ending

at some point I don't know when ^^ I have my little backpack with me and

yeah I think we should start! I have the TV on again I don't know what

it is probably some kids TV right now but maybe they are going to show some

stuff later on I'm not sure yet yeah but I should leave now okay so let's go

Rwaaaar!

So, it's time to go!

行きましょう!

Close!

Good morning!

Let's go!

I wanted to tell you the stuff which was going on in the past days

well at first after landing my good friends Scalar, his boyfriend POW and

Uta-Inu, they picked me up from the airport so this was it was really nice

because yeah actually they spent all the days with me together which was great

because it's always good to have somebody around you who knows

where to go and how to do things and stuff so I would like to thank you for

that yeah on the first day we actually did something really nice because you

know I love bungee jumping and well in Germany and other countries around

Europe it's not a problem at all but nobody has done it so far in Japan

so we thought okay let's give it a try and do some bungee jumping here and you

know think big we just took the the highest bungee platform here in Japan

which is 100 meter and yeah we drove up there and we all did it together

it was a wonderful experience and yeah you're going to see some stuff of it

right now

"Yeah"

so I really hope you enjoyed that it was a lot of fun I mean we were screaming as

hell and it was just so much fun 楽しい、とても楽しい!

the first day was really great so so as you can see we visited an Onsen (Hot Springs) and

very nice restaurants and yeah we had a lot of fun for the whole day and I'm

really thankful for this experience and I mean we were the first fursuiters

bungee jumping in Japan so it's like a big honor to be part of that

yeah the second day the second day was also very very nice we drove by car to

the north west part and we wanted to do some kart racing

I've never done Kart racing before because I was always afraid of getting

very dirty and stuff, but this this was kind of okay because

it was very dry so there was not really much dirt on the street and the Kart

itself was also very clean so it wasn't a problem at all

and yeah we had a lot of fun and we were driving very fast and well it was my

first time so I didn't really made it to the first place I was actually I think

the third or last place I don't know but and that doesn't matter it was a lot of

fun and we really enjoyed it and yeah, the problem was the material of

my GoPro is not the best because the positioning of the camera was too low

and my face like out of camera all the time

but though we got some nice material and I want to show it you know right now!

Rwar!

so as you can see it was a really really lot of fun and yeah we enjoyed that

yeah so so we also visited a very big shrine an 狼-Shrine which is a wolf shrine

That was really cool because I mean I'm

the wolf so we've been there just in time before they are closing and yeah it

was really really nice I finally been to a wolf shrine

Unfortunately there's no video footage

of that but I wanted to say that though

it's really great so I shouldn't talk that much ^^ I mean you know I did this

little voting in the last video and you said it's okay if I talk a lot

so well I do and I'm really sorry for all the people who are

doing the subtitles because I'm talking that much I'm sorry I'm sorry

Anyway anyway let's walk further and see some more stuff!

Sooo, where to go?

I have no idea I'm lost already

I love it to be lost anyway it's such a sunny day today but it's really cold

I'm actually freezing

so I think I finally found the way again I walked a totally wrong direction again

as always but at those subway stations there are actually some little maps

right at the entrance so I could figure out where to go because I don't want to

use my phone again besides that there's one thing which is really annoying me

right now and that is that my GoPro batteries are kind of suffering something I

don't know what whenever I start the GoPro just for a tiny amount of time like a

few seconds or so the battery is like minus 10% minus 20% minus 10%

and it's gone I hope it's going to work if not I might

record with the phone later on but yeah it should work somehow okay so

I walked like a huge loop but I think in that direction it should be Akihabara

again so yeah I will just go there

Finally found that River again from last year the Kanda River I think

that's the one that means that Akihabara is somewhere over there I'm back on

track but I have no idea it's like I don't know 10 o'clock or maybe 11

already so I'm walking since 2 or 3 hours now I gonna check that soon but

yeah sun is shining it's good so I am happy

yeah let's go further 行きましょう by the way means let's go

okay this is actually Akihabara Station

It's the right one!

made it at least a bit let's see if I can yeah

I don't know find another way to somewhere okay I mean I have no

destination so yeah let's see how I'm going to end

I have no idea why but I'm always lost yeah so I had to get my smartphone

again and check the way yeah I need to well actually I have a destination

right now so um I changed my mind I wanted to go back to Odaiba and see

the rainbow bridge again bit not at night but with daylight so I thought I'm going like the

other way around as the last time and see the Rainbow Bridge first and then

walking through Odaiba like at day light which is a bit more I don't

know I can see more than okay so yeah my phone says one and a half hour for yeah

seven point six kilometres but that should be all right it's not that far

look at that it's huge egg or something I don't know but it looks nice

I'm getting very close the phone says 1.5 km left but that's

Okay, I made it and it's not that late it's half past one!

but I know that this street up there is the street I was driving on with 歌犬

yesterday and it's the one which is on top of the

Rainbow Bridge now that it's actually daylight I can really see how

big this bridge is wow it's amazing you're gonna see that I'm around the

building in a few seconds and yeah and a vending machine...so oh wow

okay okay wait for it wait for it

okay this is huge Wow!

And there are two levels

this is amazing wow I haven't seen it in daylight yeah so let's cross the bridge

I guess

I'm a stupid wolfy >.<

Let's go on the sunny side

Which is the other one

I don't care about the the pain of walking or the pain of this this

backpack or something I don't care as long as I'm here this feels like home

Yeah it does

There we are again! Odaiba beach! Yaaaay!

And it's still in daylight, yep yep yep

I am so happy to be here again this is amazing I know it's probably some kind of weird

if you see this and to see me that I'm happy so happy here to just be at some

some location like this but you need to imagine this is always a dream coming

true when I watched Digimon as a child and I mean even now it's it's it's

very special to me to be at a at a location like this where all those

things happens out of season one and two and yeah actually all the seasons and

it's so special to be here it's so special to to have this opportunity and

to I don't know to be able to do this I'm actually kind of emotional right now

I love this

Sooo they have this little Statue of Liberty here last time I haven't had the

time to really look at it but this time I have so now let's see how it looks

like it's not that small actually

So if I touch this

I kind of touched Weregarurumon and this is a great feeling

Wow

okay okay okay yeah I have to use the time I have to use the time okay okay

okay okay I'm gonna go up there and then to the left because there is some other

building from Digimon I haven't seen last time the day should be like probably

40 hours long so you have enough time to sleep enough

time to eat, enough time to fursuit...eat sleep fursuit repeat!

That's the building over there

I'm here at the Telecom Center which is right there and I just had a look on my

phone to check how far I have I've been walking today

and well I think I broke my record I'm at 31 km yeah this is a lot I'm

glad I made it so far but I'm probably going to take the train back because

I mean if the Sun is setting and I'm kind of dead but yeah I want to get a

bit closer to the Telecom center because it really looks amazing

it's huge and I want to show it on video so yeah

I just met one German guy who he was really nice he took some photos and yeah

we talked a bit and I also seen two Japanese guys who helped me out to

get where I would like to get I mean yeah actually today is a holiday so we cannot

get up there but we can still take some photos

well videos whatever it is

Wow this is big!

I want to stay in the middle

It is very huge

this is how you get a ticket here in Japan best way is a SUICA card

as I've mentioned in the last video and well you just take a look where you want to go

I want to go to Shimbashi

well yeah it takes 380 円

Let's go to Shimbashi!

So this was the guy from London actually but he's German so we

talked a lot at the Train and he was very nice he was really great

If you see this a lot of greetings to London and maybe next year to Japan because you

are moving there so I wish you good luck and all the best

Okay I am in Shimbashi now

And I have to take the Ginza line

To Inaricho

Or maybe Ueno, so yeah

I made it back to Ueno station so time to get out yeah

Back to the hotel I know that my right feetpaw probably getting a blister

again but oh well

Yay to summarize the whole day it was a lot of fun I

I've been walking for the whole day I've met several very interesting and very

nice people and I'm really happy about that

especially the German guy he's he he was so great! Though I'm very much looking

forward to get some food now and to get back to the hotel and rest a bit and stuff

Of course cleaning and brushing my fursuit

Let's get inside and get some rest

okay so let's see the time is half past five

so that means I've started at eight so....nine...eleven...

I can't count! Nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen sixteen

seventeen so nine and a half hours whoo that was a nice trip I think we

should check how far it actually was yeah we're gonna see that oh the window is

still open oh well I can't I can't fake this

because I mean I'm here you know so I cannot fake my Google and it says

Can it actually focus? I think so... 32 kilometers five hours and 35 minutes

active time yeah because I made some breaks I guess and 13 kilometers and 43

minutes with the Train back yeah so I think this was a very nice trip so yeah

that's the end of the first part I guess I see you in the second part!

Bye bye! :3

*smooches*

Hehe :3

Taichi eliminates Naito, insults LIJ fans again! - Road to THE NEW BEGINNING - Night 2 (January 28) - Duration: 5:49.

Shut up, morons. You guys don't really get it, do you?

Hey, Naito… What's wrong?

Why are you clutching your crotch? You're not that big, but you're sure acting like you are.

I'll let you live, until Sapporo. No need to worry.

Instead, after the Sapporo match, Naito...

And you guys, you crappy Japón fans, with the worst manners,

You all and Naito better be ready to apologize, for all of the crap you've given me.

Be ready to do so, bastards.

Hey, do I have to tell you guys again? I know you Japón fans are idiots...

You guys never get it, do you, no matter how many times I repeat myself.

It's okay, you guys can rewatch this later and maybe you'll get it.

See ya. Adios.

He's made, not only Naito, but also the Los Ingos fans, his enemies.

Holy Emperor Taichi,

As he says, everybody who's not with him is below him, now.

Suzuki-gun, don't underestimate us.

Despe and Kanemaru say we don't deserve to be champions...

You guys aren't even worthy of being called wrestlers. Bastards.

Before Sapporo, in Sendai, Kanemaru…

We'll settle this. We'll crush each other.

Why don't you fight me, punk?

Fight me, punk!

Come here!

It hurts. Crap.

Takagi, I saw it all, very well,

I saw what you did after he was eliminated.

Is that how a champion really behaves?

There are kids watching New Japan.

I turn away from so called champions who don't fight fair and clean.

EVIL...

Naito and Japón fans, you guys have gotten weaker, haven't you?

What's wrong with you guys? Scared? Where has the 'kill or die' spirit gone?

You guys have nothing to say, after seeing Japón lose to me every time, huh?

After Sapporo, you won't be able to talk again. Now is the time to apologize, if you can.

I'll forgive you, because I am very kind.

Who's first? You?

You're buddies with Naito, right? You're always eating together at family restaurants.

You'll go first, okay? After February 3rd.

Until then, I'll let you guys live.

Sapporo in Winter...

Nothing really big has happened since Yoshiaki Fujiwara...

How many years will it be since then? Do you know? There may be a bigger upset coming.

Be looking forward to it.

Adios, cabrón.

Mountain Biking in Japan | Shinshiro XC MTB Trail 【新城富岡MTBコース】 - Duration: 6:34.

Hello, my name is Cruise.

We're in Shinshiro in Aichi prefecture Japan today.

I've got my cold weather cycling clothing on.

we're going to do some mountain biking today.

My friend told me the Shinshiro mtb trails are some of his favorite.

Very excited to be mountain biking today.

My bike's name is Midori-chan.

time to start our ride!

One good thing about this area is there is little traffic

only a 1 hour drive from where I live

in Nagakute

I hope we enter the trail soon. It's very cold!

here we are at the entrance liking what I see so far it's a nice double track

gravel climb yeah I love this we caught these like double track trails in my

hometown we got these all over they convert these to cross-country ski

courses in the winter but I guess they don't get enough snow here so for me

double trek means this kind of trail where you can see there's two sort of

separate paths one on the left one on the right so two bikes can ride

side-by-side there's also enough distance for a car to go through here

but really there shouldn't be any cars on this course this is actually a

dedicated mountain bike course so if you check some of the mountain bike

magazines here in Japan this is how Shaun actually found this course this

course was listed in a mountain bike magazine as a dedicated mountain bike

course and in my mind this isn't really exactly a mountain bike course because

the entire thing is double track in our entire ride we didn't really find any

single track a little bit later we found some but it was really limited and we'll

show you guys that when we get there but for the most part this is some nice

wide-open double track with lots of elevation change lots of up hills lots

of fun down hills and it's mostly all covered in some pretty deep gravel so

some loose rocks you have to be careful about that when you're climbing and when

you're descending it is a little hard to get some traction at times but

throughout these climbs there are some amazing views here just the beautiful

forest and we also had some nice clear skies today beautiful day to ride and

considering how few places that are nearby me for me to ride my mountain

bike in Japan normally I wouldn't be too happy just to

be riding continuous doubletrack all day but considering I haven't been riding

mountain bike in a long time it felt amazing to get out and do these

double track rides and this course is pretty awesome there's at least 10 -

maybe even up to 20 kilometers I've dedicated path where you don't ride the

same section twice and like I mentioned there's some serious elevation gain here

so you can get a really really solid workout in here while you're riding your

mountain bike and of course these down hills were super super fun to take at

speed

for those of you that don't know Japan has a pretty negative attitude towards

mountain bikers in general and it's really hard to find a dedicated course

for mountain bikers to ride because usually there's a lot of hikers in Japan

hiking is extremely popular so a lot of trails are more oriented towards them

and a lot of hikers will complain about mountain bikers on the trail so in the

end a lot of trails are banned for mountain bikers but this course is

entirely dedicated to mountain bikers and as you can see it's a beautiful

course it's really well maintained and we also ran across a couple other people

on their mountain bikes just some casual people out so really great to see this

kind of facility out there while we were riding the course I noticed this little

path off the side of the main course it looked kind of like a single track

course that was rideable so I decided to check it out there weren't any signs

saying it was a hiking trail so it seemed like it was okay and you can see

for the beginning it's quite narrow it's a bit hard to navigate but pretty fun

pretty smooth nice little break to get away from the double track some routes

to go over and a little bit of climbing so I'm starting to get a little bit

excited but I've learned from my mountain bike riding here and depend not

to get too excited when you find a new trail because they usually end really

soon but as you can see this adventure quickly came to an end as we came across

some stairs so it seems like this actually was intended for hikers oh well

well that was fun while it lasted I'm pretty sure there might be some

singletrack trails lingering around somewhere on this trail but we decided

just to give up on our hunt and just enjoy the double track trail in total we

ended up writing about 28 kilometers this day and we got about eight hundred

and thirty five meters of elevation so our starting point was at about a

hundred meters of elevation in our tallest point was about 350 meters of

elevation so if you look at the strap a link it's pretty impressive the amount

of climbing that we can get over the short distance that we had and like I

said just super fun these down hills were super fun and also the long

continuous climbs are pretty enjoyable it's kind of strange to say the climbs

were enjoyable but overall a great course great to get a good workout in

I'd love to come out here with a nice big group and just do a nice hammerfest

training ride that sounds totally awesome so I'm curious if there are some

big group rides that go on here I'm still sort of trying to work my way

into the mountain bike scene here in Japan a lot of people do the rides on

their own there's not much of a group community for the mountain bike rides

just because there aren't that many places for them to ride but in the end

I'm super grateful that Sean invited me to come out to this course well worth

the drive out here especially since it's completely free to ride that's another

thing for riding mountain bikes here in Japan a lot of the courses you have to

pay to ride them but this one is completely free and as you can see just

absolutely beautiful sights along the entire trail we had a great day couple

hours of riding out here and just had a complete blast so definitely hoping to

ride some more mountain bikes going forward in the future and you might see

some more videos with me and Sean together hopefully we'll get him more on

camera next time anyway that's it for today's video guys I hope you guys

enjoyed seeing some more video about mountain biking here in Japan if you

want to see more videos about mountain biking event leave your suggestions down

in the comments below and we'll see you guys next time here on Subarus

Two victims of forced sexual slavery of Japanese army pass away, one of them Kim Bok-dong,.. - Duration: 2:25.

Two Korean women, who during World War Two were sexually enslaved by the Japanese military,...

died on Monday.

Both of them very elderly, one was an extremely well-known activist who directed global attention

to Japan's past atrocities against women and girls.

Lee Ji-won has more.

Kim Bok-dong, a 93-year old victim of Japan's sexual enslavement during World War II, passed

away late Monday night.

At the age of 14, Kim was taken to (quote) "work in a factory" according to Japanese

soldiers.

But instead, she was forced to serve as a sex slave for Japanese troops in China, Hong

Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia and other places.

It was only after eight years that she could return to her homeland.

In 1992, Kim started sharing her painful stories, and worked as a women's human rights activist.

In 1993, Kim became the first victim of Japan's sexual enslavement to stand at the World Conference

on Human Rights to share her testimony.

She continued her brave and bold protest against Japan's war crimes... by meeting people and

international groups, participating in protests and creating funds to help girls who have

been sexually abused in wars just as she was.

After all these years, she was still waiting for a sincere apology from Japan.

"We will continue protesting until Japan apologizes and compensates with sincerity"

Her protest against Japan will continue even after her death,... as after her funeral on

Friday, her coffin will be carried around Seoul, including along the streets in front

of the Japanese embassy.

This comes after another 93-year-old woman, known to the media only by her surname Lee,

died Monday morning after suffering from poor health.

Lee was kidnapped on her way home from work in 1942... at the age of 17.

There are now only 23 South Korean victims still alive.

But their wishes for legal compensation and a sincere apology from Japan are yet to come.

Seoul and Tokyo agreed in 2015 to set up a foundation to help the victims.

But the two sides are now working to disband it... because the 2015 deal did not reflect

the victim's wishes.

S. Korean Foreign Ministry urges Japanese foreign minister to withdraw his claim that Dokdo.. - Duration: 0:34.

South Korea's Foreign Ministry has urged Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono to immediately

withdraw his claim that Dokdo Island belongs to Japan.

The Japanese foreign minister said the islets are Japanese territory in a speech to Japan's

parliament on Monday.

The South Korean government issued a statement the same day,... saying Dokdo belongs to Korea

according to history, geography and international law.

Seoul again stressed that the future of Korea-Japan relations needs to be based on a humble attitude

of facing up to history.

Crazy Cute Kawaii Harajuku Foodtour mit Arigato Japan [ENG Sub] - Duration: 5:06.

Harajuku - the colorful district of Tokyo known for its fancy fashion stores.

Butthis is not the only thing this place has to offer.

I should get a completely new experience,

because today I was invited by Arigato Japan for a food tour in this district

and of course I'm gonna take you along.

Our tour guide today was Asami.

After we all introduced each other, we went straight to the first culinary shop.

A shop that offers local specialties from the Niigata prefecture.

Asami picked out some delicacies

and we made ourselves comfortable at a table in the shop and tasted them.

In this leaf packet there's mochi stuffed with red beans inside. That was totally delicious.

The senbei, that were coated with chocolate were very tasty as well.

I was surprised that the tastes would fit so well together.

Afterwards we went to the next food stop.

After she told us some historical facts about the area, Asami guided us to a very

special bakery and also here we are allowed to choose delicious things to try.

I especially liked the cocoa. And here you can see why.

This flambé marshmallow is filled with ice cream.

I wanted to try this pretty little tart

that tasted like matcha and fruity.

It was really delicious.

The next stop should be something for lunch.

We arrived in a visually very cool okonomiyaki restaurant

and were allowed to try okonomiyaki and monjayaki there.

Before that Asami told us a lot about Japanese table manners.

For example, how to give your friends beer in a proper way.

Have you ever tried monjayaki?

And if so, what do you personally like better?

And what should not be missing after a delicious meal?

Right, a dessert.

And that should be a rainbow-colored giant cotton candy,

which had many different tastes.

It felt like eating a rainbow.

Unfortunately, there was no pot of gold at the end.

And what fits in well with Harajuku? Exactly. The Purikura.

We also did that in the end. That was a really cute souvenir of that great day.

Just check out Arigato Japan.

I'll put the link below in the video description.

Maybe there is a tour that you might be interested in.

I'm still delighted with the tours and had a lot of fun.

I hope you liked my video.

Leave a thumbs up, if that's the case

and subscribe to my channel if you want to see more videos about Japan.

So then, see you in the next video.

Bye! ♡
