gave up the location we were gonna take some people out fishing but they canceled

And I did have a bad dream about it I took him fishing in my dream and

then later on I came back to my hole or like all these cars and I was like oh

damn I was like oh I got one guys and so I'm gonna bring this in I'm gonna

tell you the end of my dream so I was like yeah maybe we shouldn't take him

like no you can't back out and then this morning they're like oh we decided we're

gonna head home I'm like ah I was like thank God cuz my dream I thought might

be a sign okay got even a smaller one here now [laughing] another Brown really small one

gonna nicely here grab out my stenos gonna take this out without really

hurting this little guy they've got this little pallet and they see don't wanna

hurt him you just can't just do it just like that it's lift it up look at that guy go

I'm catching these on a on the blue wing olive and I know size you know yeah

they're small fish I love catching bigger fish it's a lot of fun but I also

just love catching fish I'm not out here to win any prizes or bragging it's just

I'm just out here to fish and enjoy myself that's that's what I'm doing

into waders out here and it's little chilly but

I've never fished hour hole in waders I kind of like it usually fish from the

shore

all right guys I got number four here bring him in I caught him down over there he's

a little bit more of a player I don't Oh he get off well the one that got away

felt like a bigger player and it got him out there where I was hoping to because

I seen a little bit bigger ones rising but it was a no-go

I just had another one on that would have been my fourth that I'd brought in

but here we go now we got number four GoPro start go he's still recording

okay good alright guys this is where they get him in the small zone though get

this guy up here hey guys gonna think we're catching the

same fish over and over again this is six oh he's off guys that would have

been six that's what you get when you're fishing a barb less well this is pretty much

barb less hook yeah I was getting I was I actually was I was actually cast I was

getting ready to cast and I felt this tension on the back line I'm like what

you kidding me it was a fish he'd hit it just before I was gonna cast out

okay little fella Oh good love it

You guys probably wished I had the camera on just then

I fell and hit my butt trying to get into the water yuck come on guys bringing this little guy

this is seven I got cold so I came over and still Ed' hole he's not coming to the

service sure he's a little he's not fighting here but I haven't seen the damn

thing he's little he's the bigger one we caught today guys all right guys eight

I'm gonna number eight

keep that tension on up here alright hey guy thanks for letting us catch yeah

successful day all right guy nice little teeny hook there we go and guys we've just got a nibble here

I didn't set the hook because I was trying to tell the stupid camera voice

commands there we go we did it guys as long as we can bring this one in

ten fish in less than an hour well fly fishing we use two different types of

flies we use the blue wing olive and when we bring this little guy up into

the shore here stripping him in

all we caught was sorry guys I treat my fish really good but this guy was just swinging

around um we did it ten fish and in less than an hour all

alright guys here's a bonus fish number 11 I gave Ed back his hole I kind of went

upstream tulle's out there and were a success

Adrian Wojnarowski reported it; he had the scoop because Rich Paul, Davis's agent, told him

Just a few hours later, the Pelicans publicly acknowledged the trade request and expressed their disappointment at this development: This past weekend, Anthony Davis' representatives informed us that Anthony does not wish to sign a contract extension with our team and subsequently has requested a trade

Although we are disappointed in this decision, our organization's top priority is to bring an NBA championship to our city and fans and build our team for long-term success

 Relative to specific talks of a trade, we will do this on our terms and our timeline

One that makes the most sense for our team and it will not be dictated by those outside of our organization

We have also requested the League to strictly enforce the tampering rules associated with this transaction

 Most of this is boilerplate junk, a lot of top priority this and our city and fans that

The second paragraph is embarrassingly chest-thumpy and defiant, for an organization that is in the process of being abandoned in a Walmart parking lot with a "free to whoever tows her out of here" sign crammed in the windshield

But the part that especially stands out is the "strictly enforce the tampering rules associated with this transaction" line

Possibly no transaction in recent NBA history has ever been more bogged down with preemptive fretting over tampering than Davis's looming and overdue exit from the Pelicans

 Okay, so, now other teams and players are adequately warned of New Orleans's vigilance on the issue of outsiders saying obvious things aloud

So what is there to make of an update from Marc Stein that says the NBA has "commenced an investigation this morning" after learning of Davis's trade request? What could the NBA possibly be investigating? Advertisement Truly it is a blight on the league and a tremendous disruption of Pelicans business for a player's agent to say on-the-record what always is and invariably would be leaked by both sides within a few short hours

The NBA must put an immediate stop to this terrible self-tampering.
