How does it taste?

it's gross

is it really that bad?

the right way to spell "ghost" is

G-H-O-S-T

there's a "h" in there too

is it not that bad?

it just tastes normal

Thank you!

SPOOKY! REAL JAPAN GHOST STORIES from Japanese girls and boys. - Duration: 8:40.

When you saw your reflection, there was one leg too much? - Yes the legs of one more person.

What did you do? - I was too scared so I ran away.

Hey guys it's Cathy Cat. This time we are gonna go and ask Japanese people on the streets of Tokyo

if they believe in GHOSTS because there are quite a lot of ghost stories going around here.

do they believe in them? And If so, do they have some stories of

maybe some supernatural experiences themselves? Let's go and Ask Japanese.

It's summery! Are you hot right now? - I am hot.

It's hot so let's talk about something coooold.

We are asking "Do you believe in Ghosts" YES or NO

You can draw that line bigger. Nice one.

Is it ok like that? - One more point yeah

One more point for yes. - Since you said yes

What do you believe in? - When I hear sounds, I believe they are there.

I am feeling cold! Anything else? - In a glass window...

we were only two, but we could see more legs in the window. - At your school? - Yes.

There were more foot marks. Right now there would be 6 legs reflected in the mirror but...

in the glass over there, there would be 8 legs visible...

So in the window reflection, there was one pair of legs too much. - Yes we were both walking at night.

We were just saying how scared we felt. That's when we saw the extra legs in the reflection.

What did you do then? - We screamed and ran away. - It was both of you?

Yes we went to the same school. - What are you believing in? - I have seen ghosts.

What? - At my grandpa's place. I woke up and there was a young girl in the room.

Apparently I said to my granddad that there was a girl in my room. I only remember this story a little.

How old were you back then. - I was about 5 years old and I ran to wake up my parents.

What did your parents do? - They were surprised. They could not see anyone.

So only you could see it? - Yes. - Maybe it's a ghost only kids can see. - Maybe.

What did it look like? Do you remember. - A small girl with white clothes and long hair.

It was a girl. - How old did she look? - About the same age. Five.

How long was she there? - I think she disappeared quickly.

I think she was a good ghost. - You said you don't believe in them? - I don't and I never saw any.

In Japan there are often ghost tours and such. Have you tried that?

I have but not a real one. As middle school kids...

we went to walk around the forest near the graveyard. About it.

Were there only ghost stories in your school? - Well...

I think there were some, but I hate scary stories so I didn't listen. - Director: Can you visit ghost houses?

I can't go there. - You can't go there? - I hate them too much.

So you don't believe in them but you're scared. - because I am scared I don't want to believe in them.

You said yes. Why. - I have seen one before.

Where and when? - I saw it at a friend's house. We were all staying over and sleeping.

I went to the bathroom, and there was a spirit light.

Like a fire ball. I went cold with fear. - What did you do? - I was too scared so I ran away.

You didn't go to the toilet? - I held it in and went back to sleep.

You have slept afterwards? - I did. - I wouldn't have been able to. Didn't you wake your friends? - No.

If it was me, would have screamed and woken all my friends. - I was ok.

We don't have spirit light stories abroad. Can you explain what it looked like?

There were three fire balls. They had a blue light.

Blue. Three of them. Like that. It was an old house...

and it had a huge garden. Everything was wide.

It had a different aura. Like a place in which ghosts might exist.

So it was quite scary. - Yes. - Did you friend see ghost sometimes there? - He did not.

Your friend can't see them. - Yes. You don't believe in ghosts. Why? - I feel like his story is made up.

Just listening to it. I don't believe in them. I have never seen them.

Have you had some ghost stories in school?

We had the one with the man reading the book.

The stature in front of the school would walk around the school at 2 am, reading a book.

Who? - The stature from the front gates of the school.

It would walk around and read a book. We had a story like that in our primary school.

So there was something in school? - We had a large stature there.

That urban legend was a thing in school. - Director: Do you watch horror movies?

I could visit ghost houses. - You have never been? - Never.

But you are not scared to go? - I think I could pull through.

I could do it, even if I am sacred. Afterwards...

I would not start believing in them. - Do you have a favourite horror movie? - The one with Sadako.

The ring.. - yes. - Do you have a favourite horror movie? - Mine is the same.

We watched it together in the dark. - We were both scared.

Those were all our questions. Thank you.

Do Japanese people believe in ghosts? What it looks like... the

majority actually does. And this is dependent on also...

people having had some experiences and also the connection

that Japanese people seem to believe in the spirit world or that spirits

are here and there. So sometimes ghosts can not be something you see but feel.

It might be cold in the room or you might feel uncomfortable or similar

If you ever watched any Japanese ghost movies you might know

that Japanese ghosts seem to be slightly different from maybe ghosts that we

have in your country and in the way they are perceived. Instead of maybe having a nice

ghost, ghosts here can hold a grudge and something like that. Also the director of Ask Japanese

is currently dancing behind the camera to make this a little bit lighter.

We had 8 votes for yes if they believe in ghosts. How about you, do you believe in ghosts

have you ever had any supernatural experiences you would like to share with us?

If so please let us know... I wish you.. whaaaa

what are you ... how can you even do that... wow...

okay that was almost a headstand of the director...

behind the camera. Anyways, have you ever had any ghost experiences

let us know. Share them down below. If you are new, don'T forget to subscribe and I catch you

you soon on ask Japanese. Bye.

What does it mean being a TALENT in JAPAN? (Eng subs) | #YurikoTiger - Duration: 14:04.

Hi Tigers!

I'm Yuriko, welcome back to my channel.

Today, I'll finally talk about what the hell is my job.

Which means, what is a "talent", what does it mean to work as an official cosplayer

and so, everything I do.

So, there have been some comments from people who talked bad about the world of entertainment

But, but, but...

I'd like to tell my opinion about it since I work in this world

At this point, I changed two agency

Of which one was private and the other one is the Twin Planet, a major

In Italy doesn't exist the world "talent", or better, "tarento"(in japanese)

And many ask me, what is a talent?

It's a character connected to the world of television

To make it really short.

A talent might be someone who is good to imitate a famous person

It's a person that has this "springboard"

in the television world

which then passes to different media

in radio, events, stage, etc.

A talent is usually a strange person or that anyways has something in particular for which people want to keep watching them

How nice the sun that now arrives, WOAAH, the sun has appeared.

Surely it's a nice sign.

The talent might be a very good springboard for different things

Usually a talent should be able to do a little of everything

It should almost not excel at anything

Or, a person that is very good at something must have that "gyap" which is something conflicting

That brings people to say: wait, what?

And, in my case, it's cosplay.

The fact that a foreign came in Japan, talks japanese, that dresses up as a cartoon, is a cosplayer

And has this cute/weird/creepy way of talking

I mean, when I become Yuriko...because Yuriko is not the character that you see on youtube but she is born as a cartoon character

so she is a lot more exuberant, enthusiastic, "genki"

crazier, in television

more in the japanese version than in the italian one, because I don't need that "thing" in Italy

In Italy I "work" only as a youtuber and cosplayer.

So, I don't need to invent any particular characteristic

In my case I never had to tell lies, either to create something that's not me

There's always something connected to me that I succed to emphasize

Good, so, I checked on Wikipedia too and of course the italian page sucks, it's really small

Here there is a huge list of all kind of talents.

Owarai tarento:people who make people laugh;Nepotic tarento:people who do sport;Dumb idols:a kind of idol that acts kinda stupid

Or, foreign talent, which is "gaikokujin tarento", and that's exactly what I do.

My job, my career, is based on the model

It's strange to say because a one imagines a tall, thing and cool girl

and then there's me, a daub

But, it's like so.

I mean I'm gaining with cosplay, with patreon, group photosets

The various talent activities.

I had a radio, I ran my own television program,I was going on TV programs, I did a show

So, I had many small proects

Also, musical projects, even if it didn't have anything to do with cosplays

So, my job is not only about cosplay but it's my strength point

Actually, I'd like to do something totally different.

Sometimes I think that I want to end it here

Not actually with cosplays but making it a job it gets stressful, even tho it brings me a lot of emotions

But I'd like to show that in reality Yuriko, at least in Japan, is not only about cosplay.

Maybe in Italy people already have an image of not-only-cosplay, but also youtuber

But, slowly, with my agency we are thinking about many things

We're also thinking about the "muromane" which means imitating someone famous here in Japan

And try this new adventure which is the only new project they have in mind now.

Because usually a talent or a cosplayer is closed in his sectors

And, actually, another job of mine is the influencer

It sounds weird, but it's like so.

What does this work involve?

You can't do part-time jobs.

Both for the visa and for the image

"Why do you do that too?"

It's a person that shows up in television and has stalking problems.

So, there are a lot of problems connected to this job.

Me, being foreign, I dont have really strict rules

Anyway, a talent, an idol, or whatever, must have a particular personality.

It must be able to entertain the public

It's not important that you do everything perfectly but it's more important that you make people laugh and stay attached to the screen.

For example, I've been called to a program to sing

In this program, no one could sing.

And they clearly told me: don't train yourself, don't take lessons, you won't need it

Because you simply have to show the phatos, the strength you put into singing, the fun

It has to be something funny.

I asked my manager and to other people why japanese TV is so stupid

Because sometimes you se really smart things and others really stupid

Everyone is making fun of each other and it's all a big laugh, that's it

Soon they won't even speak, they just laugh

And when I asked, these people answered me in a pretty similar way:

"We already have a lot of stress, we want something that remove the plug completely"

Something so stupid that we don't need to think about how, why, what

When we get out of work, we just want to make a big laugh

And so, we watch television

On one hand I understand them

Because being fan of japanese society, I started understanding their work rhythms, their life

And I can understand why the "idol" thing is so popular here

But it's not everything random, it actually has a sense

But hidden by the non sense, the random

And with so, I guess I explained enough what a talent is.

It's only a part of my job, it's not what I've been born for or why I came here

Actually, I didn't even want to become a talent, it's something they kinda imposed me saying:

"You're good at talking, to improvise stuff, you're cute, you speak in a interesting way, you make people laugh and make people want to support you"

So my old manager said that being a talent for me was better than being an idol

A lot of idols try to become a talent or actresses

It is a route that takes other routes to make you get out in one

And which one will be your final route? What's your final target?

I don't have it

I guess I don't have it anymore

Because, I mean, once I really had the "thing" I wanted to become an idol

That period has ended.

Actually I'd really like to study acting

Have more to do with acting

But it doesn't really have to be in Japan

I don't see my life in 10 years in Japan

I think

Maybe, we'll see, I don't even know what I'll be doing tomorrow

I try to live as much as I can in the present

I have my plans b c d a f z, how many you want

But I don't really have a target

Actually I have already made many of my goals

That's why I'm in a crisis

It might also be the 25-years crisis

But I've already realised a lot of things

So, more or less, I'm starting to understand what I'd like to do in the future

Through my experiences I managed to develop interest in other things

But there are stil a lot of things I'd like to try out

So, absolutely, I won't stop

So, I'd like for istance to travel the world

I'd like to go to more foreign fairs to share Japanese pop culture

And see how another culture is that faces the Japanese one

It's really cool.

Actually, I never thought about traveling the world until I got here

In fact I did not have so much interest in foreign countries until I came to Japan

and I understood how much the japanese admired foreign countries, America, etc.

Then gradually I got as interested as them

Musically speaking, I'd like to continue a project, study singing, to have a rock radio

Yes, one of my targets and dreams in reality is to show up at Fuji Rock

But it's one of those targets that you are not able to decide by yourself

I mean, you can decide that, but if you have a manager that doesn't want you to follow that way

You can't do it

I mean, maybe is something that doesn't suit you

But, so, one of my dreams in reality would be to have a rock band

Or anyway to have a musical project and make various concerts, small events, etc, etc.

Ahh, dreams, so beautiful.

Then, I'd like to re-try the dubber experience

But in japanese for a foreign character

I did that, but in the end they put my voice in italian

And I was like: "Why did you put it in talian?!"

"We like more italian, it looks cooler"

For a small smartphone game

I'd like to be more famous in Japan

I mean, I have a certain notoriety

As a foreigner

But I'd like to get closer to a world in which I wouldn't be there for "Ah, because you are a foreigner"

I'd like to do more japanese jobs like

So, for example, something as a influencer, even if it's not related to cosplay

So, to grow my japanese fanbase because I care about it

Because I'm here, that's my main goal

And then slowly increase everywhere

I'd like to be more famous here on Youtube

Lately I'm trying to keep this channel active

Even if only in italian and, unfortunately, it will remain only in Italian

I hope one day to have a springboard, because it's cool

I use it a lot only because it's a passion of mine

As "a thing I like to do"

In fact, I leave it a little bit

But, it's one of my targets

And then, to show up in other TV shows

Hell, it was really exciting

Even if the waiting, the cold and everything else were killing me

But it was really nice

So I hope to do again something like that

And to do other projects that are not only about Yuriko Tiger

I can totally become something else

But anyways, if I think: "Ah, I wanted to show up in a cosplay magazine" I did that.

"Ah, I want to show up in a TV show" I did that.

"Ah, I want to be an idol" I did that.

"Ah, I want to have a band" I did that.

"Ahh...I want..." f**k, I miss something

So I am in my fullest crisis of the 25 years old

Because, more or less, I did it all.

So, the only thing I can do is to continue and hope in other experiences

Of course, also as a talent

I'd like to sell more.

But there are things in the TV world that, unfortunately, I'm not that used

For example, I must create some really weird stuff, even if they disgust me, only to attract attention

Many do it

But, if it's something amuses me and it's real-like, okay

If it's something totally invented I'd like to create a different character

Yuriko is the classic character > Yuriko & Tiger

So, a foreign girl who wants "to become japanese"

But actually since her name is "Yuriko Tiger" so no one thinks she is totally a foreigner

A lot of them they exchange me for something else and that's totally fine with me

That is cute, because "Yuriko" has a cute and kind sound

but it's also brave, crazy, really weird

Yuriko Tiger

So, a girl that talks with a manga-like voice

So, a girl who came out of a manga, however, is Western

And has a gyappu which is doing cosplay or, sometimes, to have that radical"voice/personality change"

A bit like Junko

Maybe that's why I feel perfectly in her shoes

That's how Yuriko Tiger is born.

A little girl that had some dreams which she realised and becomes a Tiger

And then we have our little Puri-Puri-Tiger

When I will be able to find someone who can illustrate it again, I'd like to make all the gadgets

My cutie

My potato

And he has its own story that one day I'll tell you about.

Well, that's all for this video.

If you have any questions, make them under this video.

And, nothing, I send you a super kiss

Be really careful of what you want to do

Don't say "Ah, I want to become like Yuriko, I want to be a talent as her!"

Because it's really hard

It's a really really hard thing, in my opinion.

I mean, you have to be suitable.

There are things that you might be okay with and things that you might not.

For the rest, I hope I answered enough of your questions

Kisses~

Bye!~

WW2 Japan, 1945 - Duration: 6:04.

Japan, 1945

At the end of the war in Europe,

the heads of the three allied powers held their last meeting in Potsdam

Common enemy Hitler was defeated

By this time, the US military and its allies

essentially defeated the Japanese fleet and aircraft

and approached the islands own Japan

But Japan still had a large land army.

Back in Yalta, Stalin promised two or three months after the end of hostilities in Europe

go to war with japan

And now he was concerned about this, which was then secret,

commitment to allies

From Europe, trains went on a long journey to the east

with tanks, guns, troops

By agreement, the Allies provided transport

The plan of operation was drawn up so in the way

so that in the shortest possible time with three quick and crushing blows

dismember and encircle the groups of the Kwantung Army in Manchuria

and not give them the opportunity to systematically retreat

to the interior regions of China and Korea

The main command of the Soviet troops in the Far East

headed by Marshal Alexander Vasilevsky

Over a half million soldiers waited for a signal to attack

The most difficult tests fell to the lot of Soviet troops

impassable taiga, off-road and, finally, desperate resistance of the Japanese

in fortified areas

Japanese have fought with the fanaticism of the true samurai

In a powerful fist was collected artillery

Now the Japanese have learned the power jet mortars

with a gentle girlish name Katyusha

But the war here was not a walk at all.

And here they really surrendered so much after desperate resistance.

Japanese retreated

As they left, they blew up bridges, few bridges across large rivers.

Forward

The rate of attack was up to 50 kilometers per day

and sometimes more

It was necessary to transfer infantry and equipment on ships

The Amur Flotilla acted in direct contact with the ground forces.

Trans-Baikal Front led by Marshal Malinovsky

At this point, the command plan could seem altogether fantastic

After all, on the way lay the gloomy and impregnable ridge of the Great Khingan

The only narrow road in the mountains is the caravan path.

gave tanks

Off-Road Guns and Equipment - On Yourself

But the descent from the crest of the Khingan was also harder than lifting

On the third day, like snow on my head,

forward detachments literally fell on the head of the Japanese

There were battles in the mountains

But Soviet tanks had already escaped to the plains of Manchuria.

Fronts went towards each other

By the end of the sixth day, the units of the Kwantung Army were dismembered.

Simultaneously with the advance on land,

Soviet troops struck

on South Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands

Approached the islands secretly, at night

Marines landed right on the pier

To capture the Japanese rear airfields formed special units

selected experienced pilots

Aerodrome security did not even have time to report the raid

Japanese planes never took off

The war was nearing its end, it was already agony

I had to literally smoke out of the homes of the last sniper bombers

Onboard the battleship Missouri, the Surrender Act of Japan was signed

The document was signed by representatives of the Allied powers.

It's time for the soldier to go home

to the field, to work, to your hearth and your loved ones

For many years at night they will hear the echoes of the last battles of the Second World War.

The film uses kionofotomaterialy frontline operators

S. Korean court's decision to order Japanese company to pay for forced labor could affect.. - Duration: 2:05.

it took 13 years for South Korea's Supreme Court to rule on the forced

labor by a Japanese company during World War two attention now shifts to what

will happen to similar lawsuits pending in court chase Young has the full story

13 years after lawsuit for damages was filed against Nippon Steel in Sumitomo

medal at the Seoul Central District Court in 2005

South Korea's Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday the Japanese company paid

compensation of roughly 90,000 u.s. dollars to the four victims of forced

labor the rolling came after more than five years of deliberation by the

highest court wool the rulings outcome affects similar lawsuits according to

the Korean Bar Association out of 14 lawsuits against Japanese company filed

by force laborers two complaints against Mitsubishi Heavy Industries are pending

at the top court the Supreme Court's ruling is the first of its kind on

forced labor during Japan's colonial rule it will have a direct effect on

future rulings on similar lawsuits the Japanese government had argued and still

contends that the 1965 agreement concerning the settlement of problems in

regard to property and claims and economic cooperation terminates

individuals rights to file independent damages suits and in the past the South

approach taken by Japan's Supreme Court

according to Japan's Supreme Court individuals rights are not terminated

S. Korean court's decision to order Japanese company to pay for forced labor could affect.. - Duration: 2:04.

it took 13 years for South Korea's Supreme Court to rule on the forced

labor by a Japanese company during World War two attention now shifts to what

will happen to similar lawsuits pending in court

Choi young has the full story 13 years after lawsuit for damages was filed

against Nippon Steel in Sumitomo medal at the Seoul Central District Court in

2005 South Korea's Supreme Court Rule on

Tuesday the Japanese company paid compensation of roughly 90 thousand US

dollars to the four victims of forced labor

the ruling came after more than five years of deliberation by the highest

court wool the rulings outcome affects similar lawsuits according to the Korean

Bar Association out of 14 lawsuits against Japanese company filed by forced

laborers to complaints against Mitsubishi Heavy Industries are pending

at the top court the Supreme Court's ruling is the first of its kind on

forced labor during Japan's colonial rule it will have a direct effect on

future rulings on similar lawsuits the Japanese government argued and still

contends that the 1965 agreement concerning the settlement of problems in

regard to property and claims and economic cooperation terminates

individuals rights to file independent damages suits and in the past the South

Korean government has taken similar view to Tokyo but experts point a different

approach taken by Japan's Supreme Court

according to Japan's Supreme Court individuals rights are not terminated

they're alive but just unable to be realized through a court trial experts

say this means the Japanese government or the company in question should

compensate the victims out of respect for humanitarian principles

neither the Japanese nor South Korean government much attention to the

Japanese supreme court's remarks in their discussions over forced labor

shortly after the rolling Japanese foreign minister taro kono said Japan

could potentially take the forced labor case to the International Court of

Justice but a tribunal there can convene without the consent of South Korea
