Welcome to Inside Japan and our guide on how to noodle.

First step is the easiest. You take off the plastic wrapping from around the noodles.

This plastic is recyclable. For the next step you need to pull back the lid but don't pull back too far.

Just far enough to take out the ingredients.

You might want to tilt and wiggle the bowl to make sure that you pulled out all of the ingredient packets.

Most instant yakisoba packages have step-by-step instructions,

but the next step can be tricky if you don't know how to read Japanese.

If there is a clear packet of dried vegetables,

you can open it and put it with the noodles before you pour the hot water.

In Japan electric kettles are very common and are ideal for instant noodles.

You should pour the hot water until the water reaches the line or the groove on the bowl.

Pouring cold water onto the noodles and sticking it into the microwave is not a good idea.

After you're done pouring close the lid and pinch the tab to keep it closed.

You can put the liquid packets on the lid to hold it down and make sure the ingredients are easy to pour.

The next step is to peel off the small tab in the back and drain the water.

You might want to make sure the lid is closed and turn everything slightly upside down.

After removing the water you take the lid off completely.

This is where you pour out the other packets onto the noodles.

If you pour everything in one area it'll be harder to mix it later.

The best thing to do is to spread everything out evenly.

After you've poured out everything you need to mix everything together with the noodles.

For the best results you may want to take your time and make sure everything is mixed evenly.

Some of the noodles on the bottom might not be mixed well. So, be sure not to forget the bottom noodles.

After you're done mixing you can enjoy your instant yakisoba.

Road to POWER STRUGGLE ~SUPER Jr. TAG LEAGUE 2018~ (October 28) - Post-match Interview [1st match] - Duration: 1:52.

Yesterday...

Kanemaru, Desperado…

We're not stopping just yet.

That's it. That's all I wanted to say.

The historical moment, the historical handshake...

I watched it with my own eyes on New Japan World.

It was like a scene out of a movie.

And, if they tag together, that would be an interesting team, won't it?

But I kind of wish he would have declined his handshake.

Now that you don't have the support of Gedo, are you looking for support from Tanahashi?

To me, it looked like he was saying, "I can't shine all by myself."

That's how I read that handshake.

I know many fans are very excited,

That's why I want to ask him,

Is this what you really want?

Well, it's none of my business...

Everyone, will I show up in Sendai, Nagano, Shizuoka,

Or Osaka?

Well, wherever it is, I'll see you guys there.

Adios.

Inside a Japanese Idol girl's EAR! Visiting the Japan Ear Spa again! Ear cleaning time! - Duration: 18:14.

Woow! This is bad! It keeps coming out again and again.

AAAAH! You took it! Thank you though.

Ahh! Mommy save me!!!

Hey guys it's Cathy Cat and today I brought a special guest. - Good Morning my name is Kazuki Ujyou.

I am a singing Youtuber. And today...

let's work together. You're not just a singing YouTuber, you are an idol!

and I heard you are also an Manga assistant. - Yes I am. I do many things.

I try do to a lot of things. - You're enjoying your life. - Yes I am!

Today's enjoyment will be the specialized ear cleaning salon. - I have never been there.

Never? That's good, let's have fun then. - Let's go.

AAAAAAHHH you took it. Thank you!

On that note we are already there.

Guess where it is? Here!

This is the ear salon Bonita Bonito. - Bonita Bonito? What does that mean?

I don't know. Let's ask the staff.

There we are, Bonita Bonito. The number is 102 I think.

Welcome! - Hello it's Cathy Cat. - Come in.

Thank you.... - Let's go inside...

There we are. Hello, long time no see. I brought a new friend!

Here we are. We are in your care today.

I heard the inside of Japanese ears are different from Western ears... let's find out.

Yes, this is the first time you brought a Japanese friend. - Let's go!

Have you ever seen your ear inside?

Never never never! - What do you think it will look like?

It will be terrible! A jungle! - Let's show everyone your jungle!

Let's start. - Ok here we go.

Entering now...

Your ear canal is really thin.

But they look quite clean.

Please save me! Wow! There is so much going on!

I've seen this the first time in my life.

How embarrassing!

That's my ear hole? It's so hairy hairy!!!

It looks clean. - It does. That's boring.

Sorry! - I don't have to translate this time, this is easy.

That's right. - Yeah.

I am enclosed by people who are looking at my insides...

This is a first time experience for me. - Has someone ever cleaned your ears?

My mum might have done it 10 years ago.

I will cut your ear hairs. - You cut my ear hairs? That's a first for me.

The scissors look regular to the eye.

What! She is cutting it! I can hear the sound! What!

- Ahha. - Does it tickle! - It's quite something.

What? Why are you doing this? Ah!

Are you serious. - Please don't move too much. - I don't want to move but I do.

I don't want to move but my body moves by itself.

Cutting your ear hair makes it easier to clean them.

That's why I first cut it cleanly so they don't stop the cleaning process.

Cutting them makes it easier. - How much do you think until they grow back?

How long do you think it will take for them to grow back. - The hair? I might come back quickly, in a month maybe?

That's right. - I did it. - Nice one.

Wow this is embarrassing. Hairy or clean, don't know which one is more embarrassing.

I don't know. Which one. Still I am embarrassed.

-Ah. -Well how does it feel? -Well...

I don't know. I am too busy to figure out if I am embarrassed or just busy. My ears feel good though.

Sorry! AAHHH! Sorry for my behavior.

I sing a lot. I feel like my ears might get better at hearing.

Sound will get in easier. - You are using some sort of lotion.

Yes, this is an ear lotion. Ear wax is made out of sweat, and skin particles, and dust.

It's oil. So you need oil to take the oil of cleanly.

Same to some lipsticks. - You have a crease. It's collecting wax here.

You have a deep crease around here. That's very rare. You can't clean that area by yourself.

What? I didn't know that. That's funny. - How does that make you feel?

I am 90% embarrassed. - Still embarrassed? - We found a secret garden.

You did! I didn't know about myself. - It seems super rare.

Wow. - That's bad! -It's so thin. You couldn't clean that yourself.

What?? - Yeah your ears are small. - So small! -I didn't know that about my own ears.

Wow. It's quite deep.

That's unbelievable. - You found out a new secret.

This is pretty bad! It keeps coming out.

Don't worry we all have dirty ears. - Your ears are one of the more pretty ones really.

They are? Yay! ... I feel like I used up all calories of today.

This is a real experience. My left ear feels super clean right now.

We are done here. - How are you doing? - Thank you so much.

Usually I'd be more energetic but I used a lot of energy just now.

This thing feels good. - Let's go. - Ah!

It's so fluffy. - Does this feel ok to you?

Thank you so much. Wow that was quite something. - I am getting nervous just sitting next to you.

I hope there is something fun in your other ear. - Yes I hope so too.

Let's go. - Wonder how your left looks like. - We got something there.

- Yes there is something! - This here.

When did you last clean your ears? - I didn't give it a full cleanse but...

coming out of the bath I swiped it with a cotton bud lightly.

Should I clean it more intensely?

We have specific tools here. Not just normal cotton buds.

There are several ways to clean it. Doesn't mean that you need to use cotton buds.

Cleaning your ears it's what it's all about.

Swiping it with a cotton bud is also cleaning your ear. - Do I have to do it every day?

it's not good to do it every day. You don't need that.

Wax doesn't accumulate that easily. Once in two weeks is ok. I just cut the hairs here.

Just using the place where I cut the hair is enough. Don't push it in too deep.

You can't cut it yourself too. Just clean it once every so often.

Clean once every so often. But inside the ear is a vagus nerve.

This vagus nerve can help you relax a lot.

This is the same type of nerve as your chest and your underarms. - My breasts?

Yes that's why it feels slightly ticklish when you clean your ears.

That's strange. I wonder why that's the same nerve. - When you can't sleep...

it might help you if you cleaned your ears and relaxed.\

These nerves help you relax. - I am really surprised that's the same type of nerve as my breasts.

So I am getting my breast nerves touched up while being filmed right now?

That's the first time someone said it like that. - Things that stuck on my breast nerves are getting cleaned...

Aaaaah! That's amazing. You took some more off. Thank you so much.

This is an incredible experience. - I think we will get de-monetized. - YouTube will demonetize this video.

The director expects this video to get demonetized, if you say breasts so much...

Yeah you might. Maybe you should put an age disclaimer on it. - Do you sometimes get demonetized?

I totally do. I am just streaming from my bathroom and I will get the age limit on.

What videos on Youtube do you recommend. - I want people to see my music videos.

But the videos that I don't work hard on, where I wear a swimsuit, those are popular.

We are done. - It's clean now. - It's clean.

Yes it's sparkly now.

There is a cute girl so close to my face. ... This feels good.

I feel like we became a lot closer.

I am looking forward where this is going. - A cute girl is staring at me! Ah!

What do I do. Please censor this.

Aah... Cathy, today is nice weather. - It is. - What's your hobby?

I will push your acupuncture points now.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH I will die!!!

This is the point for shoulder pains and headaches. - I will die!!!

AAAH! MOMMY HELP MEEE

This is another acupuncture point.

The next one is for your eyes... - Eyes...

Ah... This one is easier though. - Your nerves are sensitive.

Please save me! I started sweating.

Acupuncture points can hurt that much - Not if you are not stiff.

That means she must have stiff muscles. - Yes very stiff. - The Youtube backpack

that I use is heavy. - Let's check another one. - The left is better.

lots better. My feet!! - Is this video going to be ok?

Are you covered? Let's go for the next one.

AAAAH! This hurts. - That's another nerve.

Wow this is crazy but feels good. - Next we cleanse. - We will wash them?

What? That's tickling!

This time I learn new Japanese words like "Koshoubai" (ticklish)

Is this a kansai word? - Yes I am coming from the Kansai area.

Where exactly? - Hyogo prefecture near the Hime castle. -What do you say here?

We say the word "kusugutai" when something is ticklish.

Director: It's not just cleaning your ear, she focusses a lot of attention to all aspects.

Not just swiping it with a bud. - And you don't have to get undressed in this ear spa.

This felt really good. - There were many things happening today. You screamed for your mum. - I did?

MOMMY HELP ME!!! - You did.

I feel so cleansed now. I feel good.

We are done now. - Thank you so much, really.

Thank you!

That was the treatment today. - How was your first visit to the ear spa?

It was so much more than I expected in the first place.

I didn't know you would see so deeply inside your ear. And then the outside of the ear...

I got that massaged and my head. There was so much going on.

I didn't expect all of that. It felt super good.

Even though people stared at me I felt good. - Sorry about that. - No really it was good.

I feel clean now. Not just my head but my whole body.

I have brought many people here and everyone's reaction is different.

And everyone's ears are all different. I expected someone to do something similar but not yet so far.

I would like to bring another friend again next time! - Sure.

Ujyou san please tell people what you are actually doing.

I am a YouTuber. I also released a CD in August. I am a singing YouTuber.

I do both singing and YouTube. - What's the name of your cd?

IT's called Genso Watashi. It's about illusions and the beauty of Japan.

It's about the soul of Japan.

I do a lot of YouTube videos. Find out more about me in the description box below.

Visit her channel some time. You can try and message her in English too. - I am looking forward to it.

Thank you all for watching. See you for more videos soon (if you subscribe!)

Dear Japanese People/日本の皆さまへ - I am happy to leave Japan - Duration: 7:58.

dear Japanese people and the Society of Japan. I'm half American half Japanese

and lived in Japan for 18 years and it was a great time but moving out of that

shit country and going to America after high school was the best decision

ever sorry people

I lived in Japan for 18

years and after high school I moved to America and that was one of the biggest

culture shocks that I ever had. moving from Japan one the most

collectivistic societies in the world to one of the most individualistic society

in the world was a drastic difference it changed me so much. but did i get brainwashed to

believe that America is the best country that everyone should be individualistic

no. I love Japanese culture I think to some degree everyone should be a

collective to keep the harmony. then why did I say that Japanese culture sucks

what the Japan sucks as a country to understand that we need to go back a few

days to when I climb the mountain called Tungurahua with my youtuber friend max

before we dive into this I need to go see this Museum of the Inca ruins by the

way I'm in Ecuador I'm not in Japan nor in my in America so let's go

so when I was going up Tungurahua with Max we started to talk about machine learning

oh by the way go check his channel out

Max and Maria but we're talking about machine learning and this is when I had

my idea to make this video this seems like a huge segue but but stay with me I

will definitely come back to my point of why Japanese culture sucks. if you don't

know what machine learning is machine learning is the system where a lot of

social media platforms or Netflix or Spotify users to read your pattern what

kind of things you potentially like and give it to you if you look at your

suggestion feed on Facebook Netflix and Spotify you might see something that you

like that's that's using machine learning it's a good thing machine

learning is a good thing because the computer is trying to figure out what

you like so if you like hip-hop and if you go on Spotify it will just give you

a lot of hip-hop if you like action movies and if you go on Netflix they

will keep giving you action movies so it's a good thing you don't have to go

out of your way to find something that you like and this is how I started

this conversation with max we were watching a lot of YouTube videos and we

were just given something that I liked over and over again. from me Casey nice

tat so how does that connect to Japanese in American culture?

Japanese culture Japanese society is like a society that went through a machine learning

algorithm over the past thousands of years. everyone has a very similar view to

many of the things and everyone behaves in the same way taking out someone's

newsfeed Facebook feed YouTube channel and they follow the same thing over and

over again there so what they're what they see is the same as well Japanese

people are looking at society living their lives through this collectivistic

lens. growing up I did have a chance to move away from that. my mom being

American gave me a chance to be to experience the individualistic side of

human beings however it's very very hard for people who are living in Japan to be

non collectivistic if you tried to be a little bit opinionated they will shut

you down if you try to be a bit egocentric that was shutting you down

everything is tailored to sustain the society. you have to a be collective at all

times. but as many know the world is not one-sided it's always two sides to a

coin. so you can't just live through a single culture: a

collectivistic society. that is why it was super impactful super fresh for me

when I moved to America I saw a different world. I learned that it was

okay to be ego centric it was okay to be individualistic time to time. I hope

through this video that more and more people more and more Japanese people

will look at things from a different perspective not only from their

day-to-day Japanese collectivistic way. that is why I loved when I moved to

America because I saw something differently not because America was

superior compared to Japan that's why I'm making this video I want Japanese

people to have their own study abroad for a year or two and see something

different. not only will you learn something different from that experience

but you will appreciate Japanese culture more because you have to understand that

to appreciate something to fully understand something to grasp something

you have to see both sides of a coin it's not a coin but you get the idea

there's two sides to everything you can't just see a Japanese culture and you

think that it's great you have to see the other side something different to

appreciate to understand it so employing Japanese people go out there

move out of your comfort zone and see a different world see a different culture

thank you

thanks for watching if you guys like this video push the like button and do

not forget to subscribe thank you see you guys tomorrow

Japan's Princess Ayako Gives Up Royal Status for Love as She Marries Commoner: 'How Happy I Am' - Duration: 3:30.

Japan's Princess Ayako is now a married woman — and no longer a royal.  The 28-year old, who renounced her royal status to wed a commoner, tied the knot on Monday morning in a Shinto ceremony at Tokyo's historic Meiji Shrine

A small group of about 30 family members attended, according to news reports.  The groom, Kei Moriya, 32, is a shipping executive

Ayako, who wore a traditional court kimono and hakama skirt and styled her hair in the "osuberakashi" ancient style for noblewomen, spoke to reporters following the ceremony to express her joy

"How happy I am that so many people have celebrated (our marriage). We want to make efforts to become a couple like my mother and father," The Mainichi newspaper reported

Her late father, Prince Takamado (cousin of present Emperor Akihito) who died in 2002, "would have rejoiced at my marriage" she added, telling reporters that the top hat Moriya was holding had belonged to her father

Moriya said, "I want to support her firmly and hold hands to look forward and build a family full of smiles

"  The couple were introduced by the bride's mother Princess Hisako last December

On August 12, Ayako became engaged in a traditional court ceremony to Moriya, who works for Japanese shipping firm NKY Line

Under Japan's current Imperial Household Law, women marrying a commoner must lose their royal status

With a diminishing royal line, however, changes have been wrought to the protocol

The royal household now accounts only 17 members, 11; women among them and succession as well as the ability of the household to manage official functions, patronage and public appearances, has become a concern

To accommodate this need, on Friday, in a first of it's kind historical change, Princess Hisako, 65, announced her daughter would continue to retain patronage over two institutions

Adjusting Ayako's status is only one of several significant changes which will effect the Chrysanthemum Throne in the immediate future

In April 2019, after an unprecedented constitutional exception, Emperor Akihito is scheduled to abdicate over health concerns

In addition, the Emperor's eldest granddaughter Princess Mako is also engaged to marry a commoner — though her wedding was postponed last year until 2020 for "lack of preparation

Eating 1 dollar Instant noodles from Japan!! #025 - Duration: 8:55.

Hey guys, welcome to Rion's TV. I'm Rion

So today I get a those noodle from a dollar store, which looks really good

I want to check whether those noodle tastes good or not that good.

It's because of a dollar. Well, if you haven't checked out my Japanese one dollar store video, please check it

So I got the 5 of these instant noodles, All right. Anyway, let's check it

All right guys ready? Let's check

Right, so first one I'm gonna try this one right here this one called TanTanMen, huh?

It does look spicy. But then usually Japanese food spicy is not that spicy as you know

Because Japanese people don't like spicy food much. So, all right, so let's do it

Look at this one. Oh, it's already so red. But yeah, it smells good

Okay, and this one later? Alright, okay, so let's get hot water

three minutes

Smells good

One more minute

Yes, it is ready. All right. So what I need to do is place this oil before I eat it

wow, it's so red

Okay, smells like a lemon. Let's see whether it tastes good or not. This is how it looks like let's eat it

Mmm, it's good!! For me, this one not that much flavor. I prefer more flavors

but it's good though

a bit spicy, but yeah, as I said no that much.

Okay, so this one three stars out of five stars

Yeah, after I finished my noodle, I realized that this one was kind of spicy

So I told you it wasn't that spicy, but it is spicy. So be careful. All right, so let's check next one

So the next one tomato flavor

Alright, so yes, this one is from Nissin

Well, Nissin makes cup noodle. So, you know, it kind of feels like this one tastes good. All right, So Let's see

two inside.it says place it right before I eat it. All right, so let's do it four minutes

I got wait. All right

Five four three two one

All Right, this is how it looks like ah,

this one tomato paste

Smells so tomato. This is how it looks like I think still I need to wait,, do I? I don't know

But they said wait for four minutes and I waited so let's eat it

Actually, it's better than what I thought

Not bad and also the soup tastes tomato as well. So if you like tomato this one's for you

Well, actually this one was better than what I thought mmm not bad

Yeah, but the TanTanmen was better than this one stall

two stars out of five

So the next one is this one right here and many of you guys knows this one Korean spicy noodle

Shin Ramen, how do we read it? Launching nongshim nongshim

Whatever. Okay, let's eat it

Smell not that spicy actually this is my first time to eat the Shin noodle well my friends like it

But yeah, I usually don't eat the spicy food much, so I didn't eat it. Let me get hot water

so three minutes waiting for this one

Alright it's time hmm smells spicy. It is really spicy. I don't know. Let me eat it

It's hot I it's hot !! so spicy

Painful!! my mouse inside is like... this is not spicy just it's painful. Ah

Well this Shin noodle, you know, taste wasn't bad, but since it's too spicy I can't eat it

So like if you don't like spicy food

Then don't eat it

One star out of five because I don't like spicy. okay, Let's try next one

This one's soba, do you guys know Soba noodle? it's really good. And this one is a hot Saba.

I liked cold Soba, so I guess I like this one

Okay

Mmm, it smells not bad. Let me get the hot water. All right, three minutes. Yes. It's ready

You know because of Japanese Soba smell makes me feel better

so how is the taste? Yup, it does look like soba, let me try it

This is exactly soba

I think this one it's a soy sauce and the fish powder based I think and it's a bit sweet. It's good

I give this for 5 stars out of 5

Sour and Hot

I need to place water, so let me get water and I have to wait for 3 minutes

Alright, so it's ready this one right here. I have to trash hot water and

Place this sauce into the cup. All right, so let me trash the hot water

Let me place sauce

smells so weird

I can't I can't describe how it is smells like smells like sour and spicy at the same time so weird

Shin ramen this one right here. This one was better. This one's so spicy and

I think I have to finish it, but I really don't think I can finish it. This one's crazy

Ok, zero star out of five. This one is no good. Alright

Well, so I tried five noodles from one dollar story. Some of them are good

Some of them are not really good. But can you believe it you eat five of them just $5

Which is cheaper than McDonald's. So if you come to Japan make sure tried it.

So how did you like my videos? Thanks for watching my video and
