In this three-part series we are taking a seven-day six-night trip from Tokyo to Kyoto,

but not by the usual route along the Pacific coast known as the "Golden Route", which

most tourists take.

Instead we are traveling through Japan's "New Golden Route" which delves into the

country's rural interior, continues along the beautiful Sea of Japan coast, and finishes

in Kyoto.

A great way to travel along this New Golden Route is using the Hokuriku Arch Pass, a seven-day

pass exclusively available to overseas tourists that allows for unlimited use of all the JR

Lines shown on this map, including the Hokuriku Shinkansen.

In episode one we made our way from Tokyo to the Snow Monkeys before episode two saw

us traveling along the Sea of Japan coast, through Kurobe gorge and to the mountain town

of Takayama.

Now in this third and final episode, we spend the last three days exploring an historic

city, beautiful countryside spots and an old merchant town before reaching our final destination:

Kyoto.

So join me, Sam Evans, as we travel from Tokyo to Kyoto along Japan's New Golden Route.

Day 5

Here's the plan: We wake up in Takayama, where we will spend the morning at one of

its popular morning markets.

We then head to Kanazawa, where we'll have a lunch and visit the famous Kenrokuen Garden,

before staying the night at a traditional Japanese ryokan.

So we've arrived this morning at one of Takayama's two morning markets.

Now these morning markets that are open daily sell a selection of crafts, local vegetables

and street food.

I'm starving, so let's go and get breakfast.

We then head over to Toyama via the Takayama Line, before taking the Hokuriku Shinkansen

to Kanazawa.

From Kanazawa Station we make the 15 minute walk to Omicho Market.

We've just arrived in Kanazawa and first of all we're gonna get some local cuisine

for lunch and following that we're gonna take a trip to Kenrokuen, one of the three

most beautiful gardens in all of Japan.

Let's go!

Two of the things Kanazawa is most famous for are its incredible seafood and gold leaf.

Now this restaurant that we are in today in Omicho Market combines the two and it looks

absolutely delicious.

We're here in Kenrokuen, a garden that was made for the enjoyment of the local lord who

in the feudal era was the second richest in all of Japan after the Shogun.

Today this garden is opened to the public

and stands at Kanazawa's number one tourist attraction.

Following our exploration of Kenrokuen,

we make the short walk to our accommodation for the night.

I'm currently enjoying a course dinner of Kanazawa haute cuisine accompanied by some

delicious local sake.

After this it's off to bed because we've got a big day tomorrow.

Kanpai.

Day 6

We leave Kanazawa behind and head on to Fukui Prefecture, where we'll partake in a Kimono

wearing experience and visit Maruoka Castle.

After a morning of kimono fun, we head to the Hakusan Heisenji Shrine before making

our way to Shiga Prefecture and the town of Omi Hachiman,

where our day will come to an end.

We take the Hokuriku main line from Kanazawa to Awara Onsen station, before taking a bus

to Maruoka Castle, where we will make the short walk to the kimono rental shop.

We have arrived at Maruoka Castle, one of only twelve in Japan whose keep has survived

since the feudal era.

From Maruoka Castle we take a bus to Eiheijiguchi Station and then board a train all the way

to Katsuyama Station, from where a taxi will take us to the Hakusan Heisenji Shrine.

We've just arrived at Hakusan Heisenji Shrine and this place is well known for the moss,

which as you can see covers a lot of the shrine grounds.

Now the atmosphere in this place is just absolutely serene, so let's go and check it out.

To end our day of exploration we take a train back through the countryside from Katsuyama

to Fukui, where we board a limited express train to Maibara before heading to Omihachiman

via a special rapid train.

The ryokan we will be staying at is around 30 minutes' walk from the station, or around

ten minutes by taxi.

So we've made it to the end of Day 6 of this incredible journey from Tokyo to Kyoto.

And tomorrow we've got yet another amazing day planned.

But I think for now it's time for a little bit of relaxation

before getting a good night's sleep.

Day 7

For the last day of our trip, we start with a boat ride along the Omihachiman canal, after

which we'll explore the old merchant district and indulge in a local delicacy for lunch.

Following that it's off to the final stop of our journey: Kyoto's Fushimi Inari Shrine.

So the canal that we are sailing on this morning was made by the local lord some centuries

ago and later it contributed heavily to Omi Hachiman's ascendency as a commercial hub.

Only a few minutes away from where the boat ride docks is Shinmachi-dori Street, along

which many historic buildings have been well-preserved.

So we're here at a restaurant inside the old merchant district and this restaurant

specializes in Omi Beef, the local delicacy.

Today we're going to eat it Sukiyaki Style and the way you do that is by cooking the

beef in this broth before having it with a little bit of raw egg.

It looks delicious and I cannot wait to dig in.

Back at Omi Hachiman Station, we take a 35-minute train ride to Kyoto, where we take the Nara

Line a couple of stops to Inari Station.

So we finally made it to our last destination on this 7 day tour from Tokyo to Kyoto, and

what better way to end a trip like this than at Kyoto's fantastic Fushimi Inari shrine.

And that concludes our amazing adventure along Japan's New Golden Route.

[INDOSUB/ENGSUB] Apink Diary 2018 EP 08 Apink Fanmeeting in Japan - Duration: 15:15.

[APINK DIARY] [Apink fanmeeting in Japan]

[Apink Fanmeeting in Japan]

Today,

I came to destroy the stage.

I came to perform intensely.

Wow!

I'm swollen because I ate yakiniku before I slept.

Look.

[Why! You look pretty!] (Sighs)

[Don't leave!] I'm sorry.

Look!

[Sad Eun Ji]

I don't want to do it either.

[Bo Mi slowly comes close]

Can I take a look?

I didn't do anything, but I'm swollen?

[Hi!]

- The next song is "FIVE". - Okay!

Let's say the MC left the stage. Take your spots in the dark!

You don't have to dance so intensely. We can just stand in place.

- We'd get sick if the members do it like we do. - You have to bring a masseur.

- We'll do it lightly. - I'd like us to get sick like that.

One, two, three. Hello! We're Apink!

Please watch over us!

Please watch over us!

Please watch over us!

We'll watch the opening video once.

You can take your spots in the dark. We'll play the opening video first.

[Before the rehearsal, the members are warming up]

- We'll raise your microphones a little. - I think we need to.

- How does it sound? - I can't really hear through the in-ears.

[It's shining because Ha Young is an angel]

[We'll minimize the captions to see Ha Young's face]

We came to Japan for the first time in a while.

It's very awkward to speak in Japanese because it's been a while since we've come to Japan.

[You're a great spectacle... A wonderful sight... A voice from God...]

[Crash]

[Honestly, I'm saving all of these videos of Ha Young...]

[As expected, the reputation of Oh-phradite go away]

- Great work! - Please watch over us!

Do you want orange juice?

- Is this ocha (green tea)? - Yes. [Eun Ji discovered green tea, which she likes!]

Ocha, ocha!

Do you want a cup? Do you want some?

Do you want some?

Let's have some!

Let's clink glasses.

It's lonely by myself.

With all of my love...

Here!

You drink it.

It's delicious!

[Slowly starting to cover up]

Covering up one at a time.

Only the eyes, nose and lips show!

This is Japan.

It's been a while, right?

We have a fan meeting today,

so for the first time in a long time... How many months? I think we came last year.

Has it been over a year? Time really flew by.

We came to do a fan meeting for the first time in a while.

[Q. Did you practice the Japanese lyrics a lot?] Yes, I peeked at the teleprompter earlier.

But I remembered them because we sang them so much.

I thought I forgot all of them.

We sang them so many times.

What is that? That movie!

That guy... What was that?

- "X-Men"? - That guy from "X-Men".

- Wolverine! Wolverine! - Wolverine! Wolverine!

[Rong-verine plays well with just a brush]

I'm Wolverine.

What kind of brush is this?

[Playing with it without knowing what it's for]

I'll use it around the time that I get married, right?

Stick on "bbo-jjak"?

I didn't know it meant that.

I didn't know that "bbo-jjak" referred to babies walking around.

They said to stick on "bbo-jjak".

[Suddenly, Eun Ji is energetic]

[Singing "Lil' Touch" by Ha Young's "secret unnie", Hyoyeon]

I think it'll be great to see the Japanese fans because we haven't been here in a while.

It feels like we're just having fun with the fans, rather than performing.

I'm going to have fun playing.

Hello, everyone. Long time, no see.

I'm promoting in Japan for the first time in a while.

The end!

Oh my! I gained a lot of weight!

I gained weight! I gained a lot of weight.

But please support me a lot!

[And Apink's unstoppable energy starts again]

[Is today's performance rock?]

Wearing the purple hoodie and hair in a bun during the monthly evaluations.

- Me with a hair bun. Do you remember? - So funny.

It's been such a long time.

[Apink is finally going on stage]

Fighting!

[Apink is showing their performances that they prepared for Panda!]

[Apink is also having a fun time with Panda and not just performing!]

[She's even more embarrassed]

[Bouncing] [Watching from the big screen]

You're drunk! I think you need to go home.

Bbom Bbom Bbom! Please like and subscribe!

Really cute!

Cute!

She's similar to a cat!

Bye!

Bye! Thanks!

Thank you for today!

Great job! Great job!

- Great job! - Great job!

Bye! Great job!

Great job!

It's really great to see the fans even though I'm out of energy.

But a lot of people came!

Honestly, I was worried because it's been so long, but thanks so much for coming.

A few Korean fans came as well.

I sincerely thank you for coming this far.

We'll probably go eat something delicious since we're done, right?

It's been a very long time.

Honestly, many Japanese fans come even when we're promoting in Korea.

It was great to see those fans who came that time for the first time in a while today.

If I had to say something that lacked,

I wanted to show all of the songs that we promoted with in Japan.

I feel sad that we couldn't show them,

but I hope to show them next time.

Our fan meeting that we had for the first time in a while just ended.

I'm really sad, but I'm coping with that sadness.

It was great to have a fun time with the fans today.

It was great to see the fans that we haven't met in a really long time.

So I kept waving like this on stage, but I'm not sure if they saw me.

If we made eye contact, then that's correct.

I was looking at you.

We'll come again next time!

One, two, three! Hello! We're Apink!

We met the Japanese fans for the first time in a very long time!

How was it, Cho Rong?

- It's been a very long time, but we saw the fans that we're very familiar with. - That's right.

So it was great to see them. Thank you so much for waiting for such a long time.

- That's right. - We hope to meet with you often.

That's right.

- We were very worried because it had been such a long time. - That's right.

But we sincerely thank you for having such a fun time.

It was very fun.

How was it for you, Nam Joo?

- It was very fun. - Right?

As Bo Mi said, we were very worried. We hadn't had a Japanese fan meeting in a while.

We worked hard to prepare for the problems with the language.

We were worried that we'd make mistakes because we wouldn't be communicating much.

It was very fun because the fans were very friendly and understood us.

I hope to meet you often in the future.

- Great job today! Thank you! - Thank you!

Thank you!

- Japanese Panda! - Bye!

- See you again! - Panda!

- Panda! - Panda!

10 Differences Living and Working in Singapore and Japan - Duration: 8:33.

Hello guys, welcome back to my channel.

Today I wanna make this video in English.

I really want to improve my English.

I really want to improve my speaking skill.

Maybe, you can't understand my English for some reasons.

Like, maybe I have a bad pronunciation.

I have a strong Indonesian accent.

Sorry about that.

Okay, let's just get started.

In this video, I wanna explain you about.

Living and working in Singapore and in Japan.

I had been living in Singapore for almost 2 years

and I also had an experience living in Japan for almost 1 year.

The first thing that really really obvious about the difference between

Singapore and Japan is the language.

As you may know, with only English

We can have a comfortable life living in Singapore

We can (easily) buy some foods,

going to restaurant,

going to shopping mall,

opening your bank account,

almost anything.

But in Japan, with only English, I can tell you it's not enough.

Actually, I can't speak Japanese.

(Japanese)

When the first time I came to Japan, I found that a lot of immigration officers in Japan

couldn't speak English.

When I tried to buy some foods in the restaurant, the waitress couldn't speak English.

The waitress couldn't explain about the menu.

And, when I tried to go to convenience store, I found that the clerk couldn't speak English.

I tried to communicate with him with English.

But, he couldn't understand.

He couldn't understand what I was trying to say.

Or, maybe because my English was really really bad?

I don't know.

But, yes, the language barrier is really really exist in Japan,

Even in Tokyo.

Maybe you always heard that Singapore is the most expensive city in the world.

But for a single person like me,

Tokyo could be more expensive.

Let me explain about this.

Yes, the housing in Singapore is really really expensive.

But, for a single person,

Actually we don't need to rent the whole apartment by ourselves.

We can just rent only one room.

Yes, it's common.

It's common as an expat in Singapore.

Renting only one room instead of the whole apartment.

It's a lot cheaper.

Fortunately, in Japan, you can get a cheaper apartment.

That is by living a bit far from central of Tokyo.

Like, some people try to live outside of Tokyo.

I know, I know it will be so far from your office,

If you have an office in the central of Tokyo.

You will spend your time in the train.

That's the only problem.

Oh wait, actually there is one more problem.

If you live a bit far from central of Tokyo.

That is the public transportation cost.

Yes, the public transportation cost in Japan actually more expensive than in Singapore.

So if you are someone who like to travel around this will cost you more and more money.

About the food, it's really easy to find a cheaper food in Singapore.

There are a lot of food courts.

But, In japan,

I don't know whether there is a food court or not.

Actually it's still possible to get a cheaper food in Japan.

Like, you can buy some lunch boxes from convenience store.

Or, you can just,

eat a fast food like Matsuya or Yoshinoya.

If you don't have any problem with eating that kind of food,

You can get a cheaper food in Japan.

Oh ya for halal food or vegetarian food,

Sometimes it can be more expensive compare with normal Japanese food.

But in Singapore, I don't think there is a price difference.

Because it's really really easy to find halal food and vegetarian food.

Yes, there are so many interesting places in Japan.

Japan is quite big country.

There are so many things you can explore in Japan.

But compare with Singapore,

Singapore is quite small, right?

Usually the expat in Singapore will find themselves get bored.

To solve this problem sometimes they try to travel,

Outside of the country, like

Visiting Indonesia

Visiting Malaysia

Or some other nearest countries.

Japan has 4 seasons, while Singapore has only 2 seasons.

For someone who live in 2 season's country like me.

Yes, Japan can be more interesting.

We can get an experience living in Spring,

with it's beautiful cherry blossom.

We can get an experience living in Summer,

with it's beach life.

We also can get an experience living in Autumn,

with it's yellow and read leaf.

And lastly, living in Winter.

Of course with it's white snow.

In case of diversity, Singapore is better.

There are some races,

some languages,

And even there are a lot of foreigners living in Singapore compare with Japan.

But of course this is depends on your preference.

Maybe some of you prefer to live in a monocultural society like Japan?

The Japanese food could be more interesting for a foreigner.

As Indonesian,

I found that the Japanese foods are really unique.

The taste,

The looks,

Yes of course the Japanese foods are also tasty.

But please note that as a Muslim or Vegetarian,

It can be really difficult to find a Halal food or Vegetarian food in Japan.

But in Singapore, you may have no problem at all to find Halal food or Vegetarian food.

I know this is depends on the company, but based on someone's experience,

the working hours in Japan are longer than in Singapore.

Why?

I will give you one example.

I don't want to say the name of the company.

I don't say this is my experience.

Okay?

For example there is a company,

They have 2 branches,

One in Singapore and one in Japan.

Officially the working hours are the same.

Both offices, Japan office and Singapore office have the same working hours.

Normally we only need to work from 10 am until 7 pm.

The people in Singapore office normally they will leave the office around 8 pm or 9 pm.

Almost all people already left around that time.

But in Japan office,

Even until 10 pm a lot of people still in the office.

And even until midnight, some people still in the office.

And some of the people even sleep in the office.

In Japan, when I left around midnight,

I tried to catch the last train,

the train was really really crowded,

the train was full.

Means that a lot of Japanese people leave the office around midnight.

The income tax in Singapore is cheaper than in Japan.

When I was working in Singapore,

I remember the tax is around 7%.

But in Japan is around 20%.

And there are some other taxes that need to be paid in Japan.

Like, resident tax,

and insurance,

and pension.

So with the same salary you will less money in Japan because of these taxes.

Maybe not all of you already heard about this,

Japan is quite famous for its "lifetime employment" system.

Japanese people will work only for 1 company in his life.

And the Japanese law actually really protective to us.

It's not easy for a Japanese company to fire someone.

They need to provide a solid reason,

For example, like,

Maybe someone who has a criminal activity.

Maybe someone who take a long absence without a reason.

The point is you may really get a stable contract in Japan, but not in Singapore.

If you want to move to another company in Japan,

actually you don't need to apply for a new working visa.

The working visa,

It's independent to the specific company.

So for example like,

If you leave the company, and want to change your job,

you can just use the previous working visa.

But in Singapore, if you want to move to a different company,

Means you need to apply for a new working visa.

Means we can say that changing job in Japan,

could be more easy compare with Singapore.

Because you don't need to apply for new working visa.

You don't need to wait for months,

waiting for the approval.

You don't need to face a rejection of you visa application.

Okay, that's all.

I don't want to say which one is better.

Singapore or Japan.

It depends on what you want in your life.

Some of you may prefer Japan,

and some of you may prefer Singapore.

If you have any question, correction, feedback, or anything,

you can mention it in the comment box below.

Okay finally,

Please don't forget to like and subscribe.

Thanks for watching.

Japan | Part One: Eating in Tokyo Tokyo - gilbertmk.nl - Duration: 6:38.

It's 22.30 in Holland and 24 hours ago we were still at Schiphol.

And hopefully we'll arrive in Tokyo in two hours.

The next two weeks we'll be in Japan.

However the trip wasn't going very well.

We should have a stopover at Paris, but we're in South-Korea right now.

I guess this one?

No.

Start.

My first Korean meal, from the 7-Eleven!

It's good.

Is it just me, or is this a Pepsi logo?

Well, i'm going to watch some Korean TV.

But, we're in Japan right now and it's very, very hot!

Probably because of a typhoon just hit Japan.

Fortunately we do not suffer from it, but you'll never know.

I'm here at the Devil's Ramen Restaurant.

And I need to confess: I didn't order the hottest one.

I'll be here for a few weeks and I don't want any stomach ache.

People behind me are sweating, that's not very good...

I'm very excited!

Well, here it goes, Gilbert!

It's not that hot!

The 2nd hottest level, I guess I could go a level hotter.

But that would have probably kill me.

It's really not that hot, and it's so good!

Waited 5 months for this.

Which side should I've broken? - The thin side.

So I've broken the wrong side? - No, it's fine.

Mmm, it's sooo good!

Look mom, I put on an apron.

Day one, and I've already been at the ramen shop.

Didn't have the Devil's Ramen, but the 2nd hottest level.

Pretty proud of myself, and it was really not that hot.

This trip to Japan is already successful to me.

What did you buy?

Something with soy beans, green tea and a black something. I guess sesame.

No?

It's okay. I need to get used to it.

But I want to know what this is, some kind of jelly.

How should I know?

It's a dessert.

Oh, so you're starting the day with a dessert.

Bleh, nasty, nasty, nasty.

How do you know, you didn't eat it.

If it looks like that, I'm never going to eat it.

Tokyo is a very busy city. And so now and then,

you need to escape the city.

There is this place, a national park. Garden?

It's literary a Japanese Garden.

This garden looks like Central Park. It's exactly the same.

Maybe even prettier.

Have you ever seen a square watermelon?

- Yes. - When? - Now.

If you want some cheap sushi in Japan,

go to a supermarket. It's 20.30 right now and you pay only have the price.

So I have some sashimi, for only €2,30.

€2,30! €2,30!

Today is our last day in Tokyo.

And we're going to end Tokyo with...

DISNEY!

Eating 1 dollar Instant noodles from Japan!! #025 - Duration: 8:55.

Hey guys, welcome to Rion's TV. I'm Rion

So today I get a those noodle from a dollar store, which looks really good

I want to check whether those noodle tastes good or not that good.

It's because of a dollar. Well, if you haven't checked out my Japanese one dollar store video, please check it

So I got the 5 of these instant noodles, All right. Anyway, let's check it

All right guys ready? Let's check

Right, so first one I'm gonna try this one right here this one called TanTanMen, huh?

It does look spicy. But then usually Japanese food spicy is not that spicy as you know

Because Japanese people don't like spicy food much. So, all right, so let's do it

Look at this one. Oh, it's already so red. But yeah, it smells good

Okay, and this one later? Alright, okay, so let's get hot water

three minutes

Smells good

One more minute

Yes, it is ready. All right. So what I need to do is place this oil before I eat it

wow, it's so red

Okay, smells like a lemon. Let's see whether it tastes good or not. This is how it looks like let's eat it

Mmm, it's good!! For me, this one not that much flavor. I prefer more flavors

but it's good though

a bit spicy, but yeah, as I said no that much.

Okay, so this one three stars out of five stars

Yeah, after I finished my noodle, I realized that this one was kind of spicy

So I told you it wasn't that spicy, but it is spicy. So be careful. All right, so let's check next one

So the next one tomato flavor

Alright, so yes, this one is from Nissin

Well, Nissin makes cup noodle. So, you know, it kind of feels like this one tastes good. All right, So Let's see

two inside.it says place it right before I eat it. All right, so let's do it four minutes

I got wait. All right

Five four three two one

All Right, this is how it looks like ah,

this one tomato paste

Smells so tomato. This is how it looks like I think still I need to wait,, do I? I don't know

But they said wait for four minutes and I waited so let's eat it

Actually, it's better than what I thought

Not bad and also the soup tastes tomato as well. So if you like tomato this one's for you

Well, actually this one was better than what I thought mmm not bad

Yeah, but the TanTanmen was better than this one stall

two stars out of five

So the next one is this one right here and many of you guys knows this one Korean spicy noodle

Shin Ramen, how do we read it? Launching nongshim nongshim

Whatever. Okay, let's eat it

Smell not that spicy actually this is my first time to eat the Shin noodle well my friends like it

But yeah, I usually don't eat the spicy food much, so I didn't eat it. Let me get hot water

so three minutes waiting for this one

Alright it's time hmm smells spicy. It is really spicy. I don't know. Let me eat it

It's hot I it's hot !! so spicy

Painful!! my mouse inside is like... this is not spicy just it's painful. Ah

Well this Shin noodle, you know, taste wasn't bad, but since it's too spicy I can't eat it

So like if you don't like spicy food

Then don't eat it

One star out of five because I don't like spicy. okay, Let's try next one

This one's soba, do you guys know Soba noodle? it's really good. And this one is a hot Saba.

I liked cold Soba, so I guess I like this one

Okay

Mmm, it smells not bad. Let me get the hot water. All right, three minutes. Yes. It's ready

You know because of Japanese Soba smell makes me feel better

so how is the taste? Yup, it does look like soba, let me try it

This is exactly soba

I think this one it's a soy sauce and the fish powder based I think and it's a bit sweet. It's good

I give this for 5 stars out of 5

Sour and Hot

I need to place water, so let me get water and I have to wait for 3 minutes

Alright, so it's ready this one right here. I have to trash hot water and

Place this sauce into the cup. All right, so let me trash the hot water

Let me place sauce

smells so weird

I can't I can't describe how it is smells like smells like sour and spicy at the same time so weird

Shin ramen this one right here. This one was better. This one's so spicy and

I think I have to finish it, but I really don't think I can finish it. This one's crazy

Ok, zero star out of five. This one is no good. Alright

Well, so I tried five noodles from one dollar story. Some of them are good

Some of them are not really good. But can you believe it you eat five of them just $5

Which is cheaper than McDonald's. So if you come to Japan make sure tried it.

Wood-Mizer Japan: Miyama Satoyamasha | Wood-Mizer - Duration: 5:27.

Japan is

really a

beautiful country.

Two thirds of the land in Japan is

covered by forest.

There were quite a lot more back in the day, but even in

the modern age in which cities have sprung up everywhere,

there is still an extraordinary

volume of forest here, and large quantities of trees grow in each region.

So, the primary focus of our business is to figure...

figure out how to effectively utilize our wood resource.

Of course, the simplified sawmill

and the firewood splitter play a critical role in this regard.

Our business is located in Miyama Town, Natan City, Kyoto Prefecture.

We are a Wood-Mizer dealer.

The main products we sell are the Wood-Mizer LT15 and LT15Wide sawmills.

We also sell a Wood-Mizer Log Splitter.

Our motivation for choosing the Wood-Mizer sawmill...

comes from our vision to rectify the declining

lumber prices, revitalizing

the mesomountainous regions, and revive

lumber businesses that are

steadily declining.

This is the reason why we introduced the LT15 to Miyama Town.

At Miyama Satoyamasha, we promote

a system that fully utilizes wood resources on an extremely small scale,

meaning a single operation

that handles all processes from forestry all the way to construction.

A sawmill machine stands at the center of such system.

The LT15 is a sawmill that can perform a wide range

of activities, such as sawing

planks or beams.

It is of course

very useful for

a builder, furniture maker, etc.

You can saw large chunks of wood,

or logs,

down to a certain shape, and then saw it further to the desired size.

We believe this machine is extremely useful for this process.

The main pillar of our business is Japanese "traditional construction".

We specialize in wooden architecture.

We formed our vision 3 years ago...

of running a total operation that starts with harvesting wood from the mountains.

We create mountain paths,

harvest the wood, saw the logs, and produce wooden homes

and other architecture...

all by ourselves.

After construction, we use our left-over wood

as fuel for a firewood stove to heat our homes.

We would like many more people to get to know and

use Wood-Mizer's simple sawmills...

firewood splitters, and other wood-working machinery.

And after 4-5 years

of proactively

managing the land

around us..

turning resources into profits,

it will lead to

the sound preservation of the mountains

This is what the Japanese people have been doing since the ancient times.

It is the process of utilizing the blessings from

the Earth, and enriching it even further.

It would be wonderful if

we can use our local resources more efficiently in the modern world.

Our mission in

using Wood-Mizer products is to

effectively use

the Japanese forest resources to create

a better future.

Please stop by at Miyama Satoyamasha on your next visit.

It is our pleasure to give you a tour, so that you can consider

implementing the Wood-Mizer LT15 Wide,

which fully integrates

nature and lumber into your daily life.

REAL JAPAN GHOST STORIES: Japanese girls and boys share their encounters - Duration: 9:15.

I physically could feel my shoulders getting heavier...

Do you also want to visit ghost spots? NEVER.

Hiiii guys on Ask Japanese. Today we're gonna go and ask Japanese people

if they believe in ghosts. Might be different from your country. We are gonna go and ask

them and maybe they can tell us some ghosty experiences that they might have had.

Don't forget to subscribe to us and click on the notification symbol for more stuff from Ask Japanese.

We are asking Do you believe in Ghosts? Yes or no please vote.

Nooo

YES Noooo

You both voted yes, do you have some ghost stories to share?

You have one... A ghost story... well yeah...

I saw one inside the house - Inside your house? YES....

We are sisters... she could not see the ghost...

I could see it... and my mum could see it too. We felt it's presence...

We both talked about it. - You parent's house? - Yes. - Do you still see it?

After we started talking about it, we couldn't see it anymore. - And before that?

We felt that something was in the house every day. Not clearly. - What did you see and when?

We moved in primary school to the house and we felt it for the first month.

We were not scared of its presence.

But you never saw it clearly. - True. We never saw it too clearly.

So you just felt... - Like something was there. -How would you describe that?

As if there is a person in the corner of your eye. But I wasn't scared.

So maybe it was a friendly ghost. But your sister didn't see it? - I didn't.

You selected YES though. Why? - Well...

I think they might exist. - Can you visit ghost houses. - I don't like them.

How about horror movies? - I want to see them, but I can't see them by myself.

I can't watch them at all.

One point yes and one point no. Tell me the story. - In winter...

We traveled to a hot spring on the countryside and it had a suicide cliff near here.

We decided to have a look after going to the hot spring. When we went, suddenly my shoulders felt really heavy.

I used to think it's all just superstition. But since then I started to believe in it.

So it was a ghost spot? - Many people will commit suicides there.

The place is famous for it. And when I went there...

I really started believing in ghosts. - Until then you did not?

I wasn't but now I do. - What did you friend think about it?

Apparently that place is dangerous when you go in odd numbers, so we went as an even two.

He also started feeling unwell there. So I think they exist.

This is so scary. How about you? You said you don't believe in it.

They don't exist. I don't care at all. Ghost spots an stuff at night, I am fine.

I don't sense spirits or ghosts at all.

Everyone seems to see it but I can't do it at all. Even if I saw something, I would not care.

I am fine. With horror movies like IT to.

You're ok with "The RING"? - Totally. - Ghost houses? - Fine.

How do you like horror movies or ghost houses?

Well there is a place and setting set for that.

Places and movies that are made to be authentic are fine. Real places are scary.

Did you have some ghost stories in school?

You mean "Hanako the ghost in the toilet2? - Who is that?

When you open the toilet, there is Hanako. - A ghost in the toilet?

We had rumors like that but I wasn't scared.

Were there some ghost stories in school? - You said you believe, why?

I have seen some ghost things on Youtube. And sounds.

I could really hear them, so I think they exist.

Youtube made me believe in it -Youtuber's influence.

Do you have a ghost movie you can recommend? - Hajime Shacho went to one.

I like him a lot and watch him a lot cause he is funny.

He went to a ghost spot? - He goes there a lot in summer.

Do you want to visit a ghost spot? - NEVER! That's why I only watch them on youtube.

It's enough to see what others have seen.

Have you ever met any? - I had a sleep sleep paralysis but I never saw a ghost.

That'S why watching youtube ghost stories is fun.

It's something that I can experience myself, so it'f un to watch.

What's sleep paralysis? - When you can not get up but are awake.

You body won't move.

During that moment some people can see ghosts, some just stay in that moment for a while.

Man that'S scary. - You said you don't believe in them? - I don't WANT TO believe in them.

I am a scaredy cat. I don't want to see ghost movies and such.

When they show horror TV show commercials, I get upset because I hate that so much.

That's why I have decided to not believe in it. - You're scared of them, so you don't want to believe they exist.

If I believed in them, they might appear. - How about ghost houses? - I won't set a food in them.

Horror movies? - I have seen two...

But I won't do it anymore. I start thinking weird things. - Can you sleep after horror movies?

After horror movies, I will definitely stay with the friend I watched it with.

So we can be both scared together. - But YouTube is ok? - It's fun so it's ok.

Those were all questions. Thank you.

How about you guys do you believe in ghosts or not and have you seen

some of the Japanese ghost horror stories because the characteristics are slightly different

from ghosts and horror stories that are displayed in the west.

So is there anything you watched? I watched the RING I could not sleep for a whole week.

I was absolutely terrified and never want to watch that move EVER again.

It was actually traumatizing, I really don't like that.

So how about you guys? Any scary horror stories that you

have experienced or watched on TV? Let us know in the comments down below.

Don't forget hopefully you have subscribed, otherwise you are not gonna see some of the

other video where we go and Ask Japanese people and be sure to click ond

out to you. Hope you have a great day... Don't miss stuff from Ask Japanese in the future. Bye!

How to Obtain a Work Permit for Japan - Duration: 5:56.

Working in Japan ... The dream of many, the reality of others, but also the possibility of everyone

That in Italy there is a real crisis due to lack of jobs is a reality, it can be denied but unfortunately remains tangible.

For some it is the last, definitive push to try to realize a dream: going to work abroad.

If you are watching this video you probably dream of it too and you have a destination in your dream: Japan.

But what do you really need to work in Japan?

First we must talk about Visa, because in Japan without it working is illegal.

Yes, even in Japan some people work illegally, but I do not think that your dream is to escape from the economic instability of your country to go and take legal risks on the other side of the world.

So we talk about Permit of Stay, also commonly called "Visa".

There are different types of visa but today we will analyze what you are mostly interested in: Pre-college Student Visa.

Visiting Japan does not give you any Residence Permit,

You are considered a tourist, beyond your possible expectations, and tourists are not allowed to work.

So, if your purpose is to look for a job in Japan there is little you can do: you need a Residence Permit.

The Student Visa, or Pre-college Student Visa, is the ideal solution in terms of opportunities and price.

What is a Pre-college Student Visa?

If you want to study Japanese in Japan, you have the right to stay up to 2 years, but you are bound to a Japanese language school for foreigners and obligatory attendance.

How to get it?

First of all, you need to look for the school suitable for you on the Internet, asking for opinions and looking for opinions from those who know it (students, former students, residents in the area who have had the opportunity to meet students, etc.).

These are schools for foreigners, so they always have a website in English or anyway of the staff that is able to read and respond to emails in English, so do not hesitate to contact them to ask for information.

Once you have chosen the school that you think is the one for you, simply send an email and the school will tell you the timing, payment methods and documents required for registration.

Why is the Pre-college Student Visa the most used method?

First you will study the Japanese language. You can start from scratch or take a test at the beginning to determine your level and then start from that point.

The quality of the result obtainable in these schools is impressive: in 2 years you will probably be at a higher level than a graduate in Japanese at an Italian University (without detracting from the value of Italian universities, of course).

You will be prepared and guided for the Japan Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), which is really the only qualification in the Japanese language that employers in Japan require.

You have a Visa, which inspires a certain amount of security and allows you to get job interviews.

You can also ask for permission to work up to 28 hours per week this creates possible conditions for the work field (there are many foreigners who started with a part-time and then get a work visa thanks to the trust and competence)

Others, on the other hand, have known useful contacts at work, which are then transformed into employers), as well as allowing you to test the Japanese world of work on your skin.

Yes but in addition to the visa what do you really need to work in Japan?

First of all, knowing the language helps, it is a basic requirement.

No degree is required in Japanese, but the JLPT certificate, possibly Level 2 or 1 (highest), is the optimal certification.

Also having the skills is a huge help.

Japan does not look for labor: it is true that it is easy to find a part-time job as a waiter, as we said in our video about part time work in Japan, but it is still something subsidiary, once the Student Visa has expired it will be very difficult to get a work visa as a waiter

(I would dare to say almost impossible if you do not have a degree or years of work experience in a restaurant)

How can I find a job in Japan?

If you have a visa, language skills and some work skills, you just have to show up at a placement center and submit your application for free.

Start maybe with what you find: you will mature contacts, experience with the Japanese working world and expand your curriculum with one or more work experience in Japan.

Do I need a degree? Or how years of work experience are needed?

there are many types of Residence Permit of Work type, practically one for each category of worker

for example there is the one for entertainer, teacher, chef to give simple but simple examples,

that require different requisites. And it seems obvious, even in Italy or elsewhere for an astronaut's position is not that they take the first one who sends a resume, right?

Do you want to see a concrete example?

We take as a reference point the real site that deals with Immigration in Japan:

Do you want to try to work as an engineer? Well, let's see what requisites are needed, as well as obtaining an employer that guarantees me the hiring, to obtain the Employment Residence Permit as Engineer:

Engineer: University degree in the corresponding field or 10 years of professional experience

This means that a graduate in the field can easily attempt to obtain a Residence Permit.

And if I do not have a degree?

Well, then 10 years of experience in the industry (certifiable, of course).

A compromise, not bad, we would say. It seems to us also normal because, with all due respect, would you put a doctor in the hospital who doesn't have a medicine degree?

So you do not fall victim or negativisms that speak of who knows unknown requirements. Only the Immigration Office can grant the Residence Permit and these are the rules to get it.

But let's see a second example: do you want to be a chef?

From 3 to 10 years experience

Do you want to be an instructor in a gym?

Show me that you have experience in this area.

Do you want our advice? Go for it! Jump, but with a parachute.

Japan offers many and great opportunities but it is not a fairytale, you have to be ready, awake and prepared.

We wish you good luck, and if you would like to work part-time in Japan do not miss the dedicated video!

And Kanemaru and Desperado from Suzuki-gun, They'll be there too, right?

They say and do whatever they feel like, just because they escape with a win.

And now what? They're talking about me?

They say I'm not big enough?

You guys are disappointed, but I never said I was big, did I?

Kanemaru and Desperado... I guess they were expecting something else.

But, you guys did seem afraid of me.

We lost to them in Korakuen.

In the final in Osaka, we will get our revenge.

Remember this, an eye for an eye.

Today, like before I decided to show up,

So that I can watch BUSHI and Shingo Takagi fight,

In front of so many people.

Everyone got to enjoy the pro-wrestling, from BUSHI and Shingo Takagi.

By watching them out there,

I'm jealous and frustrated.

Makes me want to get in there.

If you like,

The day after tomorrow, in Nagano, or the next day, in Shizuoka,

You can put me in a last minute match. I won't mind.

I'd rather...

S. Korean Supreme Court orders Japanese firm to pay victims of forced labor - Duration: 2:52.

forcing innocent people into what was essentially slave labor was one of the

many atrocities committed by Japan during its brutal colonial rule of the

Korean Peninsula an estimated 1.2 million Koreans were forced to work in

Japanese industries with little or no pay resulting in countless casualties

due to dangerous tasks in poor working conditions now after more than 70 years

some of the victims may finally receive long overdue compensations Lee Jiwon has

our top story after 13 years of trials and appeals the final ruling is out

South Korea's Supreme Court has decided to uphold the ruling ordering a Japanese

steel maker to pay compensation to four Koreans the company forced to work for

it during World War two when the Korean Peninsula was under Japanese colonial

rule the Japanese company Nippon Steel in

Sumitomo metal corporation will be required to pay each victim around

eighty seven thousand dollars for unpaid work in its decision Tuesday the Supreme

Court said that a 1965 agreement between Korea and Japan did not terminate the

right of individuals to reparations the Japanese government has been arguing

that the agreement concerning the settlement of problems in regard to

property and claims and economic cooperation draws a line under the two

countries history the agreement normalized diplomatic relations between

Seoul and Tokyo and under it Japan paid South Korea 500 million u.s. dollars

Seoul's top court also took issue with the Japanese courts 2003 ruling that

claimed colonization is not illegal and that the use of forced labor was not

illegal either at the time those notions the Supreme Court said go against

constitutional values the Japanese firm had argued that legally too much time

has gone by and that it is no longer responsible but the court called that

claim and abuse of rights and a violation of the principle of good faith

to this the Japanese foreign minister taro kono released a statement

expressing deep regret the ruling is unacceptable he said because it

fundamentally shakes up the legislative grounds of seoul-tokyo ties he also

strongly urged the South Korean government immediately

appropriate measures or Japan will do all he can including an international

trial to defend what he called the Japanese firms illegal economic

activities meanwhile South Korea's foreign ministry said a meeting with

related ministries is being held to formulate an official response and to

determine how to move ahead together with Japan so that the latest ruling

does not harm their diplomatic ties so only one of the four plaintiffs is still

alive there is hope that this could positively affect many other ongoing and

potential trials involving Japanese firms and formerly enslaved Korean

workers hee Jiwon Arirang news
