Auto news on Youtube May 31 2018

Hey, hey, everybody, Shaun Hadsall here,

the owner of Get Lean in 12 and stubborn fat expert,

coming at you with more no-hype, rapid fat loss tips and tricks.

And in today's short motivational video,

I want to quickly discuss how self-talk can affect belly fat.

So my wife has a habit of making negative comments about herself

after she gets out of the shower or when she tries

to fit into certain clothes.

And I hear these negative comments come out of her mouth,

and I always have to remind her that we're

holding a conversation with ourselves

inside of our head all day long.

So you have to be careful what you say and think

because your self is always listening.

So if you're constantly cutting yourself down and talking

negative to yourself, it's a self-fulfilling prophecy.

That's what's going to manifest itself and come true.

And conversely, the opposite is true.

If you consistently self-talk positive and optimistic

and seeing the glass half-full instead of half-empty,

you're much more likely to follow through

with your commitments to your diet and your exercise program

or any area of your life.

And you're going to be happier and you're

going to get better results because be

careful what you think and say because it all comes true

someday.

So that is my motivational tip of the day.

Control your self-talk.

Always be talking positive to yourself because guess what?

You are awesome.

You are beautiful.

You are lean.

You are healthy.

And if you tell yourself these things,

even if you aren't those things yet, eventually, you will be.

It's not a matter of if.

It's a matter of when.

So if you got something out of this short motivational clip,

hit the Like button.

Give me some hearts.

If you got questions for me, drop a comment below.

Thanks for watching, and have an amazing day.

Carmel Majidi: Self-Healing Electrical Material - Duration: 3:19.

I'm very excited to tell you about this self-healing material that my group has developed.

This has been reported recently in the journal Nature Materials.

And what we've shown is a soft, stretchable, electrically-conductive material that has

this extraordinary ability to repair its electrical functionality when it's been mechanically

damaged.

So, when you, say, cut regular wiring or you puncture it or you fracture it, you immediately

lose that electrical functionality.

In contrast, our material has this ability to maintain its electrical functionality even

when it's been mechanically damaged.

Instantaneously, what the material does is create new electrical pathways around that

damaged area.

So, none of the digital circuit functionality is disrupted during operation.

And this could have important applications in areas like wearable computing, where you

want circuits that you can incorporate into textiles or place on your skin.

And just like natural skin, if you get bruised or cut, your skin is able to repair itself.

Our material also has this property that it can instantaneously restore that electrical

functionality so that you don't lose the ability to continue operating that wearable computing device.

Same goes for next generation soft machines and soft robotics systems.

Just like a natural organism, if it gets harmed or damaged, it has the ability to repair itself

and move to an area of safety, so it has greater time to recover.

For this study we used a Cricut, which is a commercial pen-plotter.

We've replaced the cutter on the Cricut with a mechanical scribe that will go and create

these electrically conductive pathways into our soft material.

It's really important within this field that we're able to match the same types of electronic

properties and functionality that we get with more conventional wiring.

Electrical wiring for computing, personal electronics, data transmission, building wiring,

those applications aren't going away.

So it is very important that we engineer these next generation soft, conductive materials,

so they still have this electrical performance.

In the work that we've done, it was very important that we demonstrate the ability to operate,

say, a digital clock that can remain functional using this soft, conductive material.

We can also show that in contrast to conventional circuit wiring, that this clock circuit remains

functional, even as we start tearing, cutting, removing this material.

Carnegie Mellon is the place where we push scientific boundaries in robotics, human-machine

interaction, and materials research, so it's really important that we're able to make breakthroughs

at this intersection so that we can accelerate progress that has transformative impact on

society.

You are here again? You did not get bored every time you have a hard time coming like a wet dog and asking for what ...

A little attention, a little care.

That's enough!

Εvery time you believe that its others fault.

You cant understand that its pointless to find out who is to blame, it will not make you a better person, look for a way to fix things around you without disowning your responsibilities.

So much afraid of the unfamiliar one. You fear the idea of change and you are comfortable with something moderate.

Pity..

I kept on you in a different way, you were a person determined and ready at all times to accept the consequences of your actions with your head up..

I was happy for you, you had witty eyes and a stunning look, and they came down indolently.. You have fallen into lethargy .. Wake up!

You have fallen into lethargy .. Wake up!

You had the pleasure of creating, running, shouting as much as you could, even in the period without work, you were with the smile and the confidence that everything would be better.

Now .. now you are afraid, you are even afraid of the thought that there is hope, το stir up your irritating calm waters.

You are dealing with others troubles to forget about yours .. You stick to the miserable TV you havent thrown yet.

Look around you, leave your phone aside, you have a world full of flowers and colors.

Why are you still choosing Gray?

Let's taking SELF-WEDDING photo!! | 셀프웨딩촬영 팁 [🇬🇧🇵🇱🇮🇩🇰🇷Sub] 국제커플 한국남자 - Duration: 6:51.

Good morning. I'm Jay from Korea.

Hi. It's Heejae.

Lina is my fiancée from Poland.

We are in Yogyakarta now....

It's the last day here.

I'm getting ready to go home.

The main reason for coming to Yogyakarta It's for taking self-wetting photos.

I've already uploaded several photos in IG. I think you've seen it.

Today I want to share information about self-wedding photography.

This is my first time ... Of course I am ... I am married for the first time.

I've been asked to take photos of my friends weddeing, but I could not.

We took our wedding photo ourself.

The most important thing is the item.

We rushed to Yogyakarta. Because the this plan suddenly came up.

And I did not have much time to prepare for it.

The items that we mainly used are the flower crown and wedding veil.

And the man can use it. I bought this in Yogyakarta.

Actually this is a thing to wear on a woman's hair, But I can use it on men's clothes.

This is a gift for my friends as a memorial to Yogyakarta. chocolate!!

I used a lot of items in the hotel.

There is something like this in our hostel.

(Very pretty light bulb)

So I made full use of this light bulb that was behind me.

I'll tell you a few important things about self-wedding photography.

I'll also briefly explain how to shoot and edit....

The most important thing is 'tripod'.

And many people use the timer function.

But I chose the "Time lapse" feature.

After you make your angel on a tripod,

and took a picture with a time - lapse picture every second.

Then you can took a natural appearance.

There are usually 200 pictures taken on one angle. (I checked it is around 500 pictures...)

At first, take a pose that you thought about beforehand.

After that, You can try to make a natural poses.

Playing with each other, kissing on the back of her hand ...

Time-lapse captures your moment so you can get the pictures you love.

You better get an umbrella too.

Because when sunlight is strong, it tires easily.

This is also a tip, if you have to keep an umbrella,

You can also use a pretty umbrella as an item.

The umbrella she had was a yellow one.

It was pretty as an item.

We used the umbrella too.

Anyway, I used a lot of items around.

When wearing a flower crown instead of a wedding veil

The wedding veil was hanging around the branches or putting it on the ground, which made for a lovely atmosphere.

And another important thing is the pose.

It is so hard.

We're not a professional model, and I'm not used to taking pictures.

There is a limit to the pose.

So leave it to Timelapse and try to make a natural pose.

Then you'll be able to get a lot of lovely photos.

But before shooting, check out the pose on the Internet.

In fact, Olivia is the friend who helped me the most while preparing for this shoot.

(Sudden video letter) Thank you, Jihyun.

Thanks to you, I was able to take a brilliant wedding shot.

I'll show you how to set the camera.

Compose after setting up the tripod.

The important thing is to focus on the other person after you have told him to stand there.

If it does not focus, everything is a failure.

No matter how beautiful the picture is, if it does not focus, it fails.

So focus on her eyes in manual mode.

When all compositions are completed, start time-lapse.

It is best to set one shot per second.

Because the moment of the moment is gone, the shorter is the better.

And you have to level the camera.

There is a leveling on the camera function.

It is a function to check if the level is right.

And have fun.

Place your accessories in the best possible place.

Actually the free wedding photography is really ... hard work.

It looks beautiful and pretty...

But it is not as easy as my thinking because everything has to be done on its own.

Anyhow It is good to always smile and be happy.

(I'll see you again next time~ Bye~)

"Her self esteem has increased... her academics have increased" - Duration: 1:58.

- Basically, my seven year old was strugglin' in school,

and we had struggled from the time we entered school,

and had tried everything.

We'd been to psychologists, on anxiety medicine,

a lot of different things goin' on with her,

and so finally one night,

really late on Facebook,

an article popped up on vision therapy,

and I was like, hey, what is this?

As I read it, I was like this is my child.

So, I called my regular eye doctor,

and he got me in touch with Dr. Megan,

and we came and it has been an eye opening experience.

I'm an educator myself,

so to come in here and see

how children have been being diagnosed

with things like ADHD and anxiety,

it's probably not that or couldn't be that,

maybe not that.

It could be a vision problem has been real eye opening.

My Maddy, has spent 12 weeks in therapy,

and she has seen a lot of great success.

She was skippin' lines when reading

and I didn't even know that

until after we got started in therapy,

and she was like, hey mom, guess what?

I don't skip likes anymore,

and I was like, I didn't know you were skippin' lines

because I can't see through her eyes.

I can remember the day we came in,

the very first day and Dr. Megan

said you may not need anxiety medication after this,

and luckily we're a little past 12 weeks

and we are no longer on anxiety medication.

Her self esteem has increased, her academics have increased.

We still got a long way to go,

cause there's other things we need to work on,

but as a mom, first I would tell you to not always

just take the first person's point of view

as to what may be goin' on with your child,

whether it's your teacher or their principal,

or even your friends, you know,

dig a little deeper and get to the bottom of it

because it has definitely, definitely been worth it.

Inside the Textbooks of Michael Dupree - CubeSmart Self Storage - Duration: 2:28.

"Back when I was a kid, Yonkers Public Schools desegregated.

Basically, bringing kids from

the other side of town to my privileged school.

And I think back to those days where they came from a spot that had old books and we

had new books.

And here they are coming into our school and excited about seeing a new book where, you

know, we took it for granted.

I think it's something that definitely could have motivated me to go into a career selling

textbooks, but realistically it was probably just dumb luck.

In the city of Philadelphia, students didn't have new textbooks anywhere from seven to

twelve years.

In April of 2016, they decided that

they needed new student textbooks.

Prior to the actual sale in Philadelphia, we shipped in 44,000 books to do presentations

to 14 different locations around the city.

As a textbook sales rep, you're normally storing books at home, whether it's a closet

or a shelf, or in your garage, but for an opportunity like this, it was much larger,

and we knew we were gonna have to go to scale quickly.

So I went out and got one storage unit, and I told my colleagues, "yeah I got a storage

unit" and they said, "oh, you're going to need a lot more than that."

The cigarette tax in Philadelphia benefited the students because moneys from that cigarette

tax went to the purchase of these new textbooks.

I was going to CubeSmart on a daily basis.

We were getting shipments of textbooks,

trucks coming in, dropping off pallets of books.

We had to then manage those books to get them out to the schools during our white glove

delivery service.

Having new books is important to kids, it gives you a better sense of the reason you're

in school to actually learn, as opposed to just taking up time.

Seeing the smiles on students' faces and hearing them say thank you to me makes my

long hours totally worth it…

"Thank you Mr. Dupree"…

"You guys are welcome"…

A year later, math and reading test scores rose, and I'd like to think that's a direct

benefit of the textbooks we put in their hands.

The ripple effect that I see is students being happy, teachers being able to teach with a

new curriculum, administrators being happy over their test scores rising.

I love that my job has a positive impact on all these things."

We Can Do Self-Reflecting in Community - Duration: 0:41.

- The real challenge is about changing our mindset and

going through that personal journey,

deepening ourselves and understanding, self reflecting.

But what I've seen from my experience

of being in communities is that

is actually something we can do in community.

We don't have to do that personal development alone,

and when we do it in a community,

it becomes much more powerful and

actually helps us then take that next step together.
