Mohamed Salah suffered a "very serious" shoulder injury in the UEFA Champions League
final after being thrown to the ground by Sergio Ramos.
Liverpool were dealt a hammer blow in Kiev when Mo Salah had to leave the pitch with
a suspected shoulder dislocation.
The Egyptian left the pitch in tears and despite being mocked by Paul Scholes, many have empathised
with the prolific forward.
Now, many Liverpool fans and most every Egyptian supporter is anxious to find out if Salah
will feature at the World Cup in Russia or if he will be ruled out through injury.

Is the injury as serious as people think?
Jürgen Klopp told reporters after the game: "It's a serious injury, a really serious
injury.
"He is in the hospital for an X-ray.
It's either the collarbone or the shoulder itself.
It doesn't look good, that's it."
While there is yet to be an official prognosis on the injury, the initial feedback is that
the winger has suffered a shoulder dislocation.

What does this mean for Salah's World Cup ambitions?
With the initial prognosis in mind, the chances of the Egyptian featuring in Russia are slim
as a dislocated shoulder can take up to 12-16 weeks to fully heal, according to the NHS.
The Egypt FA, however, tweeted that Salah hasn't suffered a shoulder dislocation but
rather has sprained ligaments in and around the joint, with the player taking to Instagram
to say he is confident of making it to Russia fit to play.
He wrote: "It was a very tough night, but I'm a fighter.
Despite the odds, I'm confident that I'll be in Russia to make you all proud.
Your love and support will give me the strength I need."
Liverpool and Egypt fans will be anxiously awaiting official information on the exact
nature of the injury Salah has sustained, with there just 19 days, until the first game
Egypt will partake in against Uruguay.
