I'm Michael Neill, Deputy Chief for Program Development and Service Quality

for Toronto Paramedic Services.

I'd like to tell you a little bit about what our group does.

We are responsible for education, professional standards, planning, community paramedic activity

and media relations for the organization.

That means that our experts provide all the recruitment and advanced level training of

the paramedics as well as providing public education through Toronto's Safe City Program.

We are the custodian of all the medical records provided by paramedics and we oversee the

strategic and the event planning of the organization.

Our Community Paramedics provide specialized care to seniors and vulnerable sectors of

Toronto's population as well our media relations provide public advisories and continued information

to the media on events of the day.

Hello, my name is John Pankauski, I'm a probate litigation attorney at Pankauski Hauser.

The trial lawyers and appellate attorneys handle matters throughout the state of Florida

but mainly in Palm Beach County and South East Florida.

Many times we are asked to assist personal representatives, trustees, guardians and family

members with issues of attorneys fees.

How much is an attorney charging an estate, a guardianship or a probate or something like

that or a trust.

In Florida, attorney fees is almost a sub-specialty.

a cottage industry if you will, with its own procedures and own rules.

So no matter what you do, find a probate litigation attorney who is used to more than just going

to court but actually litigating attorneys fees matters, like calling witness.

Now, can you get interest or do you owe interest on your unpaid liquidated attorney fees and

The answer is yes, that can happen.

There are two things you need to read.

So, if you're unsure of what you want to study, we have a free assessment tool on our website.

It's called the My Plan.

And there's four different assessments.

Take all of them so we get this complete, holistic view of what makes you tick and what

makes you, you.

Come in for an interpretation and I'll be happy to sit down with you, explain everything.

We really want to make sure that you get into an occupation that you're going to be thrilled

with.

Then we do resumes and cover letters and interviewing.

So, if you're wanting a part-time job, you're going to need a resume.

And as you get closer to graduating, you're going to need one as well.

Let me help you draft it and create it, really make it just perfect.

Interviewing--so once you get that great resume and you start getting calls for interviews,

interviews are where you're going to get the job.

How to Navigate the Advising Dashboard [NC State Student Services Center] - Duration: 1:32.

Hi Wolfpack!

This tutorial will show you how to use the advising dashboard to monitor your progress.

You can access the advising dashboard by logging into my pack portal and navigating to the

student homepage.

Select planning and enrollment tab.

From the left hand menu select advising dashboard.

When you arrive at the advising dashboard, you will be able to see all the information

your advisor sees when they check on your degree progress.

Your personal information will be at the top of the page.

You can click these links to see what courses you have taken in the past.

Next you will see a section labeled major summary.

You will be able to see personal details like your current GPA.

The two graphs will show you the progress you have made toward your degree as well as

how your gpa has changed over time.

The next section will list academic indicators that will let you know what information is

still needed or still needs to be processed by the registrar.

Other indicators will verify your enrollment into other university programs such as university

scholars.

Some departments on campus have specific defined paths that students must take marked by important

classes or milestone projects.

Your progress within that path will be listed here under critical paths.

Finally, the section titled advising comments is where you will be able to find a record

of the comments your advisor has made about your degree plans.

How to Exclude a Grade [NC State Student Services Center] - Duration: 1:18.

Hey Wolfpack.

Today we are going to show you how to exclude a grade in Mypack Portal.

Start by logging into your mypack portal and going to the student homepage.

Click on academic records then click on the grade exclusion tab on the left side.

Information on grade exclusion will appear and will give you things to consider before

excluding your grade from your GPA.

Look them over before you decide to do grade exclusion.

If you are receiving financial aid, contact the offices before you do a grade exclusion

as it may effect your funding.

At the bottom of the window, you can see a list of past grades that you have excluded

from your gpa.

You will also see the grades that are eligible for exclusion.

Select the grades that you would like to exclude and click okay.

Make sure to click save to make sure the transaction and a window will appear telling you your

request has been received.

You will receive an email confirmation when the exclusion has been processed.

Hi I am Rhonda Hammel-Smith Deputy Chief of Operational Support Toronto Paramedic Services.

The operational support team performs critical work to help front-line paramedics and emergency

medical dispatchers in the care they provide for more than 300,000 patients each year.

Our auto mechanics maintain and repair a fleet of more than 300 ambulances emergency response

vehicles and support vehicles.

Equipment repair technicians conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on more than 3,000

pieces of patient equipment including stretchers, oxygen regulators, cardiac monitors and other

life-saving equipment.

Our communications engineers and IT systems experts keep our state-of-art computer aided

dispatch and radio systems functioning 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Crew schedulers ensure that each vehicle and dispatch desk is staffed with highly skilled

paramedics and dispatchers every hour of every day 365 days a year.

Our payroll accounting and administrative staff ensure that our employees and suppliers

are paid accurately and on time and that we use public funds efficiently and effectively.

Materials management staff stock more than 200 ambulances and deliver essential medical

supplies to 46 paramedic stations across the City of Toronto.

Our facilities staff make sure our stations and buildings are clean and running efficiently.

They also plan for service growth.

I'm Tarmo Uukkivi Deputy Chief of the Toronto Ambulance Communication Center.

I lead a team of dedicated professionals working 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

Our team processes 1.5 million phone transactions over a 642 square kilometre area.

We are responsible for receiving 911 calls providing dispatcher led first-aid instructions,

for all the data and the hospital liaison for paramedic services.

We serve as an important access point to primary health care for visitors and residents to

the City of Toronto.

We are also responsible for the safety of our paramedic crews in the field.
