when talking about cleaning of tall buildings windows we may think of

climbing or a very tall ladder hmm they are very dangerous!

actually the most common way to do that job is by using scaffolds

but also they are not very safe

since the human lives are the most important criterion in our design process

we got a thought of a separated device that is an installed for each window and it's controlled from inside

The idea is simple, we brought a window shutter that is generally used for sunlight and modified

it to be attached with a squeegee and water sprinkler system so when the

window gets dusty you just turn it on and let the shutter do its job of cleaning

The new in the system is that we can't clean window safely effectively and easy to maintenance from inside

no workers at risk of falling from height also the

also, the cost of the product relatively cheap

in comparison to other products which used to do the same job of windows cleaning

for example scaffolds we can notice that the Automatic Window Cleaner is safer

and doesn't require a specialized labor for operating, and also it's cheaper

The possible users or clients are those people who own flats or building that

need continuous cleaning of windows, or even people who live in apartments

and want to clean their windows easily so that they can see beautiful views through windows

for further developments we would add some touches of decorations and

modifications for example eliminating or reducing the size of drip tray to make its appearance more beautiful

The team inspected the product many times after

manufacturing to see whether it's working or not

and when they tried it, the result of cleaning was more than satisfying

University of Memphis to offer free tuition to children, spouses of fallen service members - Duration: 2:17.

University of Memphis to offer free tuition to children, spouses of fallen service members

The University of Memphis will not longer charge tuition to the children and spouses of fallen service members.

The school becomes the first to offer the national Folds of Honor scholarship as a payment-in-full scholarship, The Memphis Commercial Appeal reported on Monday, Memorial Day.

The university already accepts the scholarship, which provides a $5,000-year-year payment to undergraduate students under the age of 24 who had a parent severely injured or killed while on active duty.

Spouses of any age can also receive it if they have not remarried.

Fold of Honor recipients, both those currently enrolled and future students, will not longer need to pay for the rest of their education at the Tennessee school.

The average cost of tuition Memphis is reportedly about $9,700 a year, plus room and board, fees and textbooks.

Any outstanding fees may also be covered by additional scholarships, said university President David Rudd.

Our commitment is to cover any gap that exists as a result and to relieve them of that burden, Rudd said.

The deal will be formally signed by Rudd in the coming weeks.

This sacrifice is remarkable and we need to recognize that, he said.

New Zealand Scholarships at the University of Auckland - Duration: 3:31.

when I got admitted to the University of Auckland and also awarded a scholarship

by the New Zealand government it was sort of a hard decision my main concerns

were the place to stay and my kids education whether they're gonna be

allowed to attend school here I was worried about changes in the lifestyle

here it was a good position that I made to bring my family over now that my kids

were going to school here arriving here in the university it was very welcoming

the staff and the students were all kind and friendly facilities are great here

like the libraries the computer labs and everything is provided for the students

my lecture for my business and innovation course is really friendly and

he helps us a lot on my days off I enjoy time with my kids with the support of

the answer date that I was but to get them into school easy we made

new friends here in Auckland working with microbe they were really supportive

we work together and we share a lot of information this course will help me

improve the standards of energy policy within our country I always go to the

international offices when I mean assistance also for any advice on any of

the things that I need for university the international offices also out to me

with choosing the right courses that will go along with my master's and

energy my advice is to come apply and come to the University of Auckland you

get to learn about new things and new lifestyles

we're conscious that when you come to the University of Auckland and to New

Zealand from a developing country that is a big challenge for people and so

providing pastoral support as well as academic support for those students and

for international students generally is very important I really appreciate that

my supervisors are expert in the field the knowledge and skills that I gained

from Auckland you nearly have my current work

not many people considers about their indigenous people but when I was in New

Zealand and in I realize it is important I used emotive models here a study

master Public Health Program but it's really important it gives me a - many

have the gap problems as well as social problems it always brings me back to

what I studied at the Center for development studies and an Auckland

because I'm applying all that to trying to make my country a better place for

everyone the scholarship because it's ever so intense benefit to me because it

progress my career very fast what's the key for me to get into the Asian

Development Bank where I'm at right now if you're thinking about applying to the

University of Auckland under a development scholarship I think I would

say stop thinking about it and just do it and I guarantee it's gonna be one of

the best decisions you'll ever make I learned so much not only from my

classes but just from the experience of living New Zealand's just going and you

won't regret it

Sabrina's Story | Faculty of Arts | University of Groningen - Duration: 1:49.

My name is Sabrina Corbellini.

I'm professor in the history of reading in pre-modern Europe,

at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Groningen.

Research on reading involves books, of course.

One of the most precious books from the Special Collections of the University of Groningen

is an incunable printed in Zwolle in 1495.

The book, a copy of the "Boeck vanden leven ons liefs heren Ihesu Christi",

is illustrated by an impressive series of woodcuts.

And here you see one…

What makes this page so unique is that it depicts a man, Mensch, kneeling before a Lady.

Scriptura.

Scriptura is sitting on a reading chair beneath a medieval library.

The books are scattered on the shelves.

Mensch is actually the reader of the book and he is instructed by Scriptura

on how to develop good and efficient reading techniques.

In the last years, research has concentrated on the reconstruction of levels of literacy

and on the circulation of books, but there has been less attention

for "how", "where" and "why"

medieval people were actually reading their books.

I address these questions together with the members of my research teams

"Cities of Readers" and "In Readers' Hands".

How were medieval people reading?

What place did reading take in their daily activities and in their daily lives?

How did they learn how to read?

And most importantly:

Why was reading in the Middle Ages and now, such an important activity

in the formation of responsible, creative and resilient citizens?

Interdisciplinary Studies Major at Belhaven University - Duration: 4:09.

the interdisciplinary studies degree is probably one of the best-kept secrets at

Belhaven University because the interdisciplinary studies degree allows

an individual to be able to bring in a variety of different credits and

organize them into a degree that gives them kind of that wide appeal aspect it

allows people who have maybe gone so far in their studies in other areas and

other institutions they come here and maybe they they don't have enough

credits left or financial aid left to focus on a specific degree area here but

they can take what they've completed in other areas and by combining them

together create our interdisciplinary studies degree it's a fabulous degree

and I highly recommend it if you bring in credits from institution a and

institution B an institution C we bring all of that together using the matrix

that we have to be able to determine how to set up your in a disciplinary Studies

degree so that it's tailored specifically so every person's

interdisciplinary studies degree is unique literally from every other

person's but it fits them perfectly and allows them again that perfect match of

being able to take what they have had and be able to mesh it all into a solid

degree honestly an IDs and interdisciplinary studies degree is

probably one of the stronger degrees unless you unless you are very

passionate about a subject because it gives you a wide breadth of knowledge

that can be used in a variety of different atmospheres and it gives you

that piece of paper which of course you know is is that that necessary hurdle

for getting many jobs our adult classes if you take the adult class format meet

one night a week and typically you only take one class at a time this is very

important for working adults Belhaven is probably one of the premier

institutions in the United States as far as I'm concerned about the ability of

taking all of the subject matter that you might get at any other institution

and integrating it with a Christian worldview perspective it's not Sunday

school it's not a lot of Bible verses it's a true integration of

a Christian might look at something and how that person who may not be a

Christian would look at it from a different perspective and be able to see

that difference and so while Bell Hammond doesn't push anyone to adopt a

Christian worldview Belhaven is very good actually superior is probably to

any other institution I'm aware of being able to allow students to truly grasp

the difference and understand how the interplay of a Christian worldview makes

a difference on literally every subject if you complete your interdisciplinary

studies degree of Belhaven University the perfect next step for you is

probably the Masters of Science and leadership and that's because the

Masters of Science and leadership gives you that graduate degree that is going

to pave the way for you to move forward in in a lot of different areas it's

possible also for you to move if you have and for instance in your

interdisciplinary studies courses some math and some background in STEM related

subjects you might be able to move into the MBA program that's certainly an

option but here at Belhaven the perfect natural sequence would be for you to

have the Masters of Science and leadership I would say that Bell Hammond

University because of the the solid foundation that we have with academics

and solid Christian worldview would be a perfect match for any student coming in

regardless of what background and a half if they come here especially if they

have gotten to that place where they do have those broken-up courses from

various institutions our people are really capable of helping them mesh all

of that to get them that degree as quickly as possible so we want to get

them to agree we're not trying to take them by getting them to take courses

they don't need we're trying to get them to get literally what they want that

piece of paper in as as as concise and effective away as possible
