Auto news on Youtube May 29 2018

The door is closed.

The door is closed.

Thank you.

I don't remember if this is the right way

as many as

I was came 20 years ago

Is it 20 years? Isn't it? nononono

yeah 13 years ago

In Osaka ...

This is the first visit in 20 years.

No! This is the first visit 20 years ago,

It's true that I've been here for the first time in 13 years.

Now is

It's a weekday and there are so many Korean tourists here

To my mind

Today as well,

I want to visit kinkakuji

too much traffic on the bus

maybe the wasting on the bus 2 hours

that's bad idea

The souvenir shops here are expensive.

Most of the people who wear kimonos here are Chinese and Koreans.

Japanese sometimes wear them just fewer people

If you wear a kimono at a tourist destination, you can get a discount on admission or experience.

Especially, Chinese people are highly involved.

A.D.935 And then it was made.

It was made exactly between 850 and 950.

In particular, it is the world's largest wooden building built on a carved cliff.

Koreans learn the history of the past here.

It was made by ancient Koreans Talk about this temple.

Todaiji Temple in the country was also created by ancient Koreans.

There is a signature of the ancient Korean monk, Damjing.

So during the ancient period of Goguryeo in Korea,

This is what makes it a Buddhist shrine. Most temples in Kyoto

The architectural technology of the tall towers originated in China and developed in Korea to become the best in Japan.

A Buddha statue everywhere

this is suntory lemon tea

I've been drinking tea on this trip to Japan.

This drink is very low in calories.

10 to 20 calories

What made the Japanese people

Do you drink tea anywhere

I think I know now.

Ah...from now on

There is no place to go in Kyoto

Welcome.

One, please--It's 150 yen.

Yes, thank you.

850 yen change.

Here you go come inside enjoy your meal

Recently, everyone goes to any place to sing Korean songs.

This is my favorite Japanese traditional food.

now it's made it this but not tasty

I've eaten this in most places.

this is the best of worse I've shocked

As it is just a famous tourist resort, the level of perfection seems to be decreasing.

This is a problem.

There are traces of being made very quickly.

The rice cake is not chewy.

It is much better to sell in a regular department store.

yeah I think so

It looked delicious from the outside.

but reality is brutal

I'll never eat anything like this again!

fishing of Korean song

Kyoto bus is seriously traffic but I have to ride on this

But I have a lot of time now.

I think it will take 40 minutes.

But today is not a weekend

It takes 50 minutes from here to Kyoto station on weekends.

It's not that far, but it's not a walk.

Korean buses open both front and rear doors at the same time, but Japanese buses only open when everyone gets off.

Never open the door at the same time. Koreans are curious.

but this is for the safety

Once a day

just once a day I had a problem with that

i see the doji of far beyond

All i have to do is walk to that tower.

Today, poor people in Japan ate the lowest price food in Yoshinoya eat that

I ate the least value of food, so I must go to my destination quickly.

ah~~~well like this?

Including the fare

You can travel to Japan for about 2,000 to 3,000 yen a day.

It is irrelevant even in Tokyo where prices are high.

But you have to walk a lot and don't take a taxi.

In Tokyo and Osaka, too, if you take a lot of taxis, you will waste big money.

maybe you take the taxi twice you will pay for it 10000 yen

If you don't just take a taxi, you don't spend much money.

Japan is the most expensive country in the world for transportation.

You should choose a destination that is as close to the subway as possible.

You can easily save money.

But Kyoto is inconvenient for the subway.

There is no subway for kinkakuji Temple. The bus is also traffic

But if you take a taxi blindly, you have to pay more than 5,000yen to Kyoto Station.

If you visit two or three places, you have to pay more than 15000 yen.

So I need to think seriously about using taxi.

Most of the buses in Kyoto are pure ocean lines, so they keep spinning.

But the important thing is time.

So you have to think about it.

Oh! My favorite hobo restaurant!

The reason why I like this place is because it sells one unit.

It's very cheap.

I'd like to visit here later, but there are fewer stores here.

At random

Most food in Japan is very salty.

I need to think that water

I had a s*** happen to again

I had a big mistake

I bought two tickets in the morning It's not two chapters of going and coming.

not used one by one must insert both ticket so that is recognize it

So what is the conclusion is... buy it again

I screwed up. I f***** up

is that wasting money buy the new one

I was overcome with grief.

mental overload

A cedar forest in Mt.Kabura, Gifu.

There are also rare cedar clusters in Japan country.

There are many trees of cedar tree in Gifu. As for Hida, there are many cedar which adapted to the environment from a lot of snow to a special shape.

In this mountain, a new cedar grows rooted in the stock of the cedar of the old tree of about 500 years old and decayed. It is called "Kabusugi".

here are also cedar trees that grow ten to one stock. I am impressed by the appearance that the number of 70 close is clustered.

DO JAPANESE want the new SAYONARA TAX in Japan? - Duration: 9:04.

Maybe politics can't be helped about that but...

I feel sorry for them.

They also use our taxes too carelessly, so ¥1000 is not gonna make a change.

Ask the people to leave Tokyo? - Yes.

Hey guys this is Ask Japanese. Today we are on the streets of Tokyo

to ask questions to Japanese people for you.

Actually 2019 a new Tax is gonna come to Japan.

That means every time you leave Japan you have to pay ¥1000.

It's called the Sayonara Tax in slang.

We are gonna find out and ask Japanese people what they think about that.

Is that a good idea or not?

Let's find out and Ask Japanese.

If you are new to our channel, don't forget to subscribe now for future videos. Let's go.

In 2019, once you leave Japan...

You have to pay about ¥1000, did you hear about that.

The departure tax? I heard about that.

What do you think about it.

Some people get tax free or they have money anyways.

If that makes more tax revenue, then I think it's good.

Politically this might not be helped but...

I feel sorry for those who have to pay it.

What do you think about those ¥1000?

Isn't that a bit too much?

If that becomes a problem for leaving Japan, it's not good.

I want that money to really come back to us straight away.

Just rotate that money straight back.

"Give me back the money when I get back to Japan" - Yes like that,

Japan will try to get money out of everything.

That's really a problem with our country.

Once they start that tax, what shall the money be used for ?

The money they took from people at the airport?

They also use our taxes too carelessly, so ¥1000 is not gonna make a change.

I want them to make a better environment for people then. Like free Wifi and such.

Recently, people watch more videos online than TV.

We watch movies on the go and that's expensive.

Would be good if they could use those ¥1000 to better the city for every one.

I think that would also make for more people wanting to travel.

The economy in Japan is not going that smoothly yet either,

But making chances for people to get that money back, like little raises in salary or such...

giving a little bit back into everyone's household money, would be good.

Do you feel any benefit from your taxes?

If we didn't have them, some things would be tough.

I would like to believe that it's getting used somewhere where I can't see it.

I don't feel any personal benefits.

Recently I can see more barrier free places.

This makes a better environment for disabled people.

Right now your tax is 8% right?

Do you think Japan is using these 8% wisely?

No I don't think so.

Generally some higher up people use it for something else, in secret.

I have seen some of that, that's why I don't believe Japan does.

I don't think it is being used well.

Not much, I have never thought about it.

I think all the money just goes to some higher ups.

Does Japan use their taxes for everyone's sake?

What do you think? - I don't know either.

I hope they will in the future.

What shall your taxes be used for?

I want them to use it in education or such.

Japan is using comparatively little money on education.

I think that's not good so it would be nice if they could reduce or abolish educational fees.

I am not sure if taxes can solve that problem but...

I live by myself and the trains in Tokyo are so crowded...

I want the government to use money wisely...

and find a way to reduce the amount of people on the trains...

Less packed trains ... - Yes.

What should they do to make that happen?

Have more trains or add more subway lines.

That's why I think having more trains is important.

The rush hour in the morning is super tough

If you go to university you pay about ¥4,000,000 (40,000 dollars) or more...

I wish they would reduce those educational fees.

Don't just build stuff in the big cities, but also in the countryside.

There is nothing in Yamagata...

You want them to give an incentive to come outside of Tokyo...

I want taxes to be used on kids and babies.

Recently so much money goes to the pensioners in Japan...

But there doesn't seem much support for the little ones.

Like having more kindergartens? - That's right.

I want the money to be used for daycares and such.

But at the same time also for the older people.

- Use it for all? - Yeah nobody left out.

Orphanages and places for kids, I would like them to get more money.

Those were our questions. Thanks so much.

Sayonara... goodbye.... but before you leave.... don't forget...

to pay me ¥1000.

So how is the Sayonara Tax gonna work?

Some people are not quite sure about it. Some say Hey if you have the money to travel

you might as well.

I find it's an interesting idea. We have something similar in Germany.

Every time you go to the doctors, we need to pay 10 Euros in the quarter of the year.

I think it will be difficult for people who have to frequently fly in and out of Japan

At the airport generally people get rid of their change and money beforehand

I am not sure how they will implement those ¥1000 and how they are gonna make people pay

The only thing I would be worried about is making the cues even longer

Right now at immigration the cue for leaving and entering Japan

especially during peak seasons is already quite long.

If they want to implement that during, for ex, the cherry blossom season

or the Olympics...

I just don't know how they are gonna do this.

I have seen all counters in use and cues... Usually the Japanese people

have a counter where they can just go through and they don't wait...

The counters for foreigners going into Japan and out of Japan are...

sometimes so packed especially at Narita airport...

I have seen things... OMG...

I am getting shock syndrome just thinking about it.

I don't know how they are gonna make people pay and minimize the cues.

It could lead to people delaying their flights, missing their flights...

That's something to look out for. If you come during those times...

You might have to be at the airport even earlier just to make all of that happen.

There is not a system as of yet. We are not quite sure so we will learn more about that

Let us know what you are thinking about the Sayonara Tax. Looking forward to

It seems like the general amount of people is thinking that the money is not getting used right

especially health care and similar things like that...

Also with the amount of kindergartens and stuff.

There are many things that need to get fixed and I hope they are using the money to fix it

but I have the feeling they are just gonna build more pretty buildings for the Olympics.

Which is what they are doing a lot right now.

The general amount of people seems to think the tax is not getting used in the right ways

The main amount of Japanese people seems to be thinking that. Interesting.

Let us know what you think about it. Looking forward to reading your comments.

Coca-Cola launches its first alcoholic drink in Japan - Duration: 2:33.

Coca-Cola launches its first alcoholic drink in Japan

Coca-Cola has launched its first alcoholic drink, a lemon flavoured alcopop, in Japan in a bid to tap new markets and consumers. In a global first for the US drinks giant, three fizzy lemon drinks went on sale on Monday.

The product aims at a growing market of young drinkers - especially women. Described by Coca-Cola as unique in the companys 125-year history, the three drinks range from 3% to 8% alcohol.

In keeping with the companys tradition, the recipe is closely guarded but the drinks are modelled on the countrys popular Chu-Hi drinks, usually a mix of local spirit and a range of fruit flavours.

The drinks hit the shelves on Monday. Chu-Hi - an abbreviation for shochu highball - has been marketed as an alternative to beer, proving especially popular with female drinkers.

Local companies like Suntory, Asahi and Kirin currently dominate the sector for canned Chu-Hi drinks. The most popular flavours are strong citrus ones such as grapefruit or lemon, the latter one being the taste Coca Cola now wants a share of.

Chu-Hi drinks are often aimed at young women. Coca-Cola says there are no plans to bring the new drinks range to markets outside Japan.

Alcopop drinks boomed in Europe and the UK in the 1990s with the likes of Smirnoff Ice and Bacardi Breezer becoming hugely popular. They were controversial, with concerns they encouraged young people to drink more alcohol because of soft drink-like taste.
