Princes George , Princess Charlotte and little Louis have one of the best nannies money can buy

Maria Borrallo trained at the prestigious Norland College and was hired by the Cambridges in 2014 when George was eight months old

She lives in Kensington Palace and travels with the family on visits and royal tours as a discrete presence

Maria is believed to be very strict with the royal children and like all Norland Nannies has a "no nonsense" approach

There are a number of rules nannies at the Bath college are taught to impose on the children in their care, so it's likely that George, Charlotte and Louis have to follow them

Norland expert Louise Heren told the Sun : "There will be no messing. That's because Maria will be aware that as they step off planes, holding mum's hands, smiling and waving to the crowds, there can't be any crying or terrible twos or tantrums

" There's a strict 7pm bedtime every night, which has to be stuck to. In a bid to discourage fussy eating, new foods and flavours are introduced every few days

All play must take place outside, regardless of the weather. Louise said: "Lots of bike rides, playing with their dogs, potentially some gardening

Norland are very into teaching children through play. "If it is tipping down, they will still go out

Wet weather is just inappropriate clothing, you have to put the right stuff on." Children are taught using games and traditional fun, such a jigsaw puzzles

Screen time is completely up to the parents, and it's something Prince William has admitted they find difficult in the past

Royal Az - Princess Charlotte to join Prince George at £6,000 a term school in September - Duration: 3:19.

Princess Charlotte will join her brother Prince George at his £6,000 a term school in September, according to reports

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have decided to send their daughter to Thomas' Battersea in South West London

Prince George, six, has been at the school for two years and now Charlotte will be following in his footsteps

Charlotte will turn four in May and has been attending Willcocks Nursery in Kensington since January 2018

Now the pair will be going to same school, meaning an easier school drop up for their parents, staff and security, according to the Mail On Sunday

The school offers a range of after-school activities with fencing, gardening and philosophy just a few of the extra-curriculars Charlotte and George can choose from

It comes after it was revealed that Kate and Prince William are thinking about sending Prince George to a "less traditional" school than Eton, where his dad and Prince Harry went

The proud parents are deliberating sending the future king to Marlborough College - the Duchess's former school - friends of the couple told the  Daily Mail

They are reportedly considering the "less traditional" option for George as they want him to "spread his wings as a child"

They "won't ever do what people expect them to do when it comes to their children", the source revealed

Both William and Harry went to Eton, where they were able to visit the Queen in Windsor easily, but the couple are reportedly discussing whether the Wiltshire school may be a better environment for George

"Eton hasn't been ruled out but they have talked at length about Marlborough as an option and the smart money is on George going there instead", the source said

Marlborough is considered a top boarding school in the UK, and it has incredible sports facilities and grounds

The £12,605 per term school seeks a mixed ability intake and the results are good, with 10 per cent of pupils going on to Oxbridge, latest figures demonstrate

William and Kate have shown they aren't afraid to deviate from tradition to make sure Prince George ends up at the option that suits him best

They reportedly "surprised" friends when they opted for Thomas's Battersea over more traditional royal schools, but picked it because they thought it was the right fit for him

Meghan Fashion - Prince George to look after little sister at school? Charlotte to join George this - Duration: 3:45.

Prince William and Kate's daughter will join George, from September it has been revealed

According to insiders, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have their heart set on the school

The Princess will be four in May and has attended Willcocks Nursery in Kensington since last January

Thomas's Battersea is a "busy, thriving, purposeful school" and their most important rule is to "Be Kind"

Its website says the site offers a "rich and broad curriculum, with Art, Ballet, Drama, ICT, French, Music and PE all taught by specialist teachers from a child's first day in school"

It currently educates 560 boys and girls between the ages of four and 13. The school costs £6,158 per term from Reception to Year 2, but as Princess Charlotte is the second Cambridge child attending Thomas's, it will only cost Kate and William £6,005

From Year 3 to Year 8 the school costs £6,956 for the eldest child and £6,785 for the second child

Pupils are offered after-school activities, including philosophy, gardening, pottery and fencing

The school was chosen for Prince George by the Cambridges because "it was the right fit for him"

Prince George, six, has been at school for two years and many have assumed he will attend Eton for his secondary education like his father

But, his parents are considering sending him to the Duke of Cambridge's former school

The Cambridge's have discussed sending Prince George to £12,605-a-term Marlborough College as opposed to £13,556-a-term Eton

Only 10 percent of pupils from Marlborough College attend Oxford or Cambridge, while a quarter of Eton students attend the prestigious universities

A friend said: "William and Catherine surprised many with their choice of Thomas's Battersea for George over more traditional royal schools, but picked it because they felt it was the right fit for him

"They are very keen to allow George to spread his wings as a child and won't ever do what people expect them to do when it comes to their children

" Marlborough College costs £37,815 per annum. If Prince George attended the school from year 7 to 12, his secondary education would cost a mouthwatering £226,890

5 adorable ways Princess Charlotte is taking after her Gan Gan the Queen - Duration: 6:21.

At just three years old, Princess Charlotte is already showing incredible poise and confidence – traits that her great-grandmother the Queen is known for

Childhood photos of the monarch display an uncanny resemblance between the two royals, from their very similar hairstyles to the shape of their eyes and brow

But as well as their physical likeness, Charlotte and her Gan-Gan share the same passions and hobbies

Let's take a look at how Prince William and Kate's daughter is taking after Her Majesty…

Physical appearance. Many royal watchers may argue that Princess Charlotte looks like her dad William, but Charlotte appears to be a mini-me of the Queen

Looking back at old photos of the monarch as a child, it's clear that Charlotte shares the same distinctive eyes as the Queen, from the shape and colour down to the arch of their eyebrows

Early photos of the Queen show that she sported a similar style to that worn by Princess Charlotte, with their bobbed hair styled to the side and clipped back away from the eyes

Charlotte also has a similar colour hair to the monarch; while her brother Prince George has fair hair, hers is a light brown shade

Love of horses. The Queen is known for her love of all things horses, and even in her 92nd year, the monarch still enjoys a spot of horse riding in the grounds of her Windsor Castle home

Every year she also indulges her passion and attends Royal Ascot and the Royal Windsor Horse Show, to watch a series of events from races to show-jumping

While the Queen had her first riding lesson when she was three years old, little Charlotte started a bit earlier, with her mum Kate revealing to equestrian champion Natasha Baker that her daughter is already learning the sport

"[The Duchess] said Charlotte is really enjoying her riding which is great to hear," Natasha said after speaking to Kate at a reception in Buckingham Palace

"And I said we may see her here on a line-up in 20 years' time. She emphasised that Charlotte has this passion for horses and although she doesn't echo it, she'll do her best to champion and encourage it

".For her first day at Willcocks Nursery School in Kensington last year, Princess Charlotte also wore a Cath Kidston backpack that featured a horse print

Love of dogs. Her Majesty's corgis have been keeping her in good canine company for years

The royal received her first corgi, Susan, when she was 18, and even took the little pooch on her honeymoon with Prince Philip

She grew up surrounded by corgis as a young girl and has owned more than 30 dogs since 1945

Her pets have become an iconic part of the royal household; they even joined Her Majesty in a special portrait released for her 90th birthday

Like her great-grandmother, Princess Charlotte is also an animal lover and the proud owner of the Cambridges' pet dog, Lupo

During the family's royal tour of Canada in 2016, Charlotte was particularly taken by a large dog named Moose while at a children's tea party

The youngster had a whale of a time bouncing up and down on the golden retriever and poodle cross – leading many to wonder whether Lupo gets the same treatment at home!

Love of football. The Queen is said to be a football fan and a secret supporter of Arsenal

Footballer Cesc Fabregas revealed that the monarch told him she is "a fan" during a Buckingham Palace reception, while Prince Harry has previously said that most of the royal family are Arsenal supporters

The Queen is said to have inherited the footie bug from her mum and it seems Charlotte is also following suit, from her Gan-Gan and her football-mad father Prince William

The Duke has revealed that Charlotte is "showing more aptitude" for the sport than her big brother Prince George

During a visit to the National Football Museum, William told England women's team captain Steph Houghton: "George is sort of getting into it slowly, but Charlotte is showing more aptitude

" The royal children have also been spotted playing football in the gardens of their home, Kensington Palace

Perfect royal wave. From her public appearances, it's clear that Charlotte has already mastered the art of the royal wave, having learnt from the best

In June 2018, she sweetly copied her Gan-Gan as she waved from the balcony of Buckingham Palace during the family's Trooping the Colour celebrations

Charlotte was spotted looking over at the 92-year-old monarch and, not missing a beat, copied Her Majesty to perfection

Royal Kids - The strict, bizarre rules George and Charlotte must follow under nanny - Duration: 2:36.

The strange rules Prince George and Princess Charlotte must follow under their 'no nonsense' nanny have been revealed

The two children, whose mum and dad are the Duchess and Duke of Cambridge, are looked after by hard-as-nails nanny Maria Borrallo

The nanny, who is a self-defence expert trained in stunt-car driving, has been with Prince William and Kate Middleton for five years

Madrid-born Maria was trained at the prestigious Norland College in Bath.  The college has educated over 10,000 nannies since it launched in 1892

It has catered for all sorts of high profile families - from Arab royalty to Hollywood A-listers

Norland expert Louise Heren told the  Sun  : "There will be no messing.  "That's because Maria will be aware that as they step off planes, holding mum's hands, smiling and waving to the crowds, there can't be any crying or terrible twos or tantrums

"  According to the report, bedtime takes place at 7pm, and the strict curfew must be stuck to

Elsewhere, the children can expect new foods and flavours to be introduced "every few days"

Prince George and Princess Charlotte 'must follow STRICT rules under posh nanny' - Duration: 3:40.

Maria Borrallo was hired by Wills and Kate to look after little George when he was just eight months old in 2014

And Borrallo, who was trained at the prestigious Norland College, was kept on by Cambridges to continue taking care of their growing brood, which now includes Princess Charlotte and baby Louis

But her blue-blooded young charges reportedly receive the same treatment from the discreet and professional nanny as any other young child in her care would

According to the Sun, Borrallo takes a "no nonsense" Norland approach to her work

Students at the Bath-based childcare school are taught the youngsters they take care of should follow some very strict rules – so it's likely George and Charlotte follow them too

Louise Heren, a Norland College expert and author of Nanny in a Book, said: "There will be no messing

That's because Maria will be aware that as they step off planes, holding mum's hands, smiling and waving to the crowds, there can't be any crying or terrible twos or tantrums

" The youngsters will be expected to go to bed at 7pm on the dot every night and they always play outside – even in the pouring rain

Louise continued: "There will be lots and lots of outdoor play, that's the one thing you could say Norland are old-fashioned about

Loads of fresh air. "Lots of bike rides, playing with their dogs, potentially some gardening

Norland are very into teaching children through play. "Yes you are getting mucky with your hands in the soil but you are learning how to plant

"If it is tipping it down, they will still go out. Wet weather is just inappropriate clothing, you have to put the right stuff on

"  Louise also said that George and Charlotte are unlikely to be fussy eaters as they will be encouraged not to turn their nose up at anything

And Borrallo is also key to preparing the royal kids for big public engagements with their parents

Louise explained: "She'll say: 'This is your opportunity to show Mummy and Daddy just how wonderful you are, and you are to smile and be really good for them and then we can go inside and play

' "Maria will know their schedule. She will be doing a lot of explaining to them, what is happening

"If the children have travelled on royal engagements, it will be jolly difficult getting the kids to bed because of the excitement and the timetable of events

"When you see William and Kate go off to a function and the children aren't with them, they will be having naptime

"
