Hello everyone and welcome to Autistic Changeling.

Today I just wanted to explain why I didn't upload a video last week, like I usually do,

and also why you may not see videos as regularly from me from here on.

Uh, I'm not quitting Youtube, I may continue to make videos, just not every two weeks like

I have been.

Um, and that's mostly because I realized that I have this tendency to turn my hobbies into

basically, like, a second job that I don't get paid for, and to me that kind of sucks

the fun out of it.

I know some people really enjoy having hobbies that are basically like a second job that

they don't get paid for, and if that's how that works for you then that's great, but

for me it kind of ties into this whole thing about needing to be productive enough to,

you know, justify your existence in society and all that ableist stuff that I think I

internalized - and a lot of people internalize, you know?

Um, but I decided that to avoid burning out I was going to stop doing things that I didn't

either want or need to do, uh, and I don't want to just do Youtube videos because I feel

like I have an obligation to.

Um, so I'm going to keep making videos when I feel like I actually want to do a video

about something, but if I don't feel like it, then I probably won't upload a video,

and I just wanted to make this video to let everybody know so that you're not wondering

where I went, if I'm okay - I'm fine, uh, I just wanted to take a step back and reevaluate

my relationship with my hobbies and the things I do in my free time, um, and kind of take

that back a little bit.

So, uh, yeah, I just wanted to let everybody know, and you will probably continue to hear

from me off and on, um, I do still have ideas for other videos and stuff, just I'm not sure

when exactly I'll get around to them.
