Hello!
I am Samarth and I belong to India.
In 2017 while I was working with KPMG, I was posted in South Africa where I witnessed
the severe water crisis in Cape Town.
After coming back to my hometown, Delhi India I experienced the severe air pollution levels.
These two incidents perplexed me and fueled my interest in going deeper into the causes
of these situations.
Later in 2017 I went on to study an MBA in Business Sustainability from TERI School of Advanced Studies.
Last year as part of my curriculum I undertook internships with UN Environment India and
CII - ITC CESD (An apex industry association) where I researched on the Air Quality in India.
Having looked at many environmental challenges
I believe that many of them can be addressed by robust policy measures.
The next step of my journey of making the world sustainable is to
pursue the EMP Programme at Lund University and augment my skills.
