Lesli: (Laughing)

Lesli: We're cutting that right?

Jimmy: COMING!

YOO what's going on? Come on in!

Alright guys this is gonna be the Osaka Airbnb tour.

So, this is what a typical Airbnb looks like in Osaka

Come on in

If you go look to the right here, nice little message left by our Airbnb host

There is a shoe rack in case you wanna put on some slippers

As you'll know I've already got acquainted with the place

Okay, come on in.

Believe it or not, we got lucky

And this is the same set up

BAM! We got the laundry machine right here

We got the kitchen happening here

Got the gas top.. We got a 2-top this time

Its a real fancy but we did a bit of an upgrade if you know what I'm saying

We got the sink here, we got a couple more cooking utensils laying out

Let's see what's under here I haven't even looked what under here yet

Ooh

If you've got more than one cup and one pan

That means you got it hooked up, you know I mean?

Looks like she just left a bunch of cleaning stuff

We won't even worry about any of this stuff because

We will not be cooking a damn thing

All right so, again, we got the kettle pot on top of the microwave on top of the mini-fridge

Does it start to look similar a little bit? Do you see a pattern?

Let's see if they left us anything

Oh! We actually did not buy this. I'm not sure....

It seems like its some kind of oolong tea or something

This hasn't been cracked yet so its fresh

Ooh

Now mind you this is probably left by the guys before.

The airbnb host probably did not

leave this for us. Ahh, I needed that.

This is a different setup, where we had it. We have a sink here instead of being

in the washroom. She even gave us a little nice little toothbrush,

hairdryer. I don't know what this stuff is. Alright, so we will do the classic

bathroom tour. Ready to take on all kinds stuff from our day and tada our trusty

old sink. Let's see if it works.

Mmmm. That's nice man. And here, it's kind of like a, almost like a telephone

booth kind of a intriguing. Coming inside. You will see that, you know the standard shower and bath.

Usually most places, shampoo and rinse, conditioner is gonna be there, body wash.

So you don't really have to carry all this stuff because if you're the type of

guy who doesn't like to check in baggage like me. This kind of stuff is heavy, it's

big, its bulky, it's unnecessary. So you have the airbnb providing for you 99% of

the time in my experience. You got the full-length here. In case you forgot

what you look like naked. We've only been here for the last five minutes so

it's actually immaculate. This is how it would normally look if you step in. You got the

air conditioning, you know the bed. You only have one bed here but I can see

that this could turn into a bed potentially and if you come into the

closet there's more bedding here so it looks like there's potential for up to maybe three,

four people, five people, six people if you lay them on top of each other to be

able to sleep here but seriously you can probably fit about three people to sleep

here which is pretty insane actually.

You got a nice little coffee table here. Tiny TV. We won't be using that much and

this host actually is super nice to leave a whole bunch of stuff here. We

got adaptor, all kinds of, a power bar which a lot of places don't give out surprisingly and this place

actually came with the pocket Wi-Fi. Like I said, we haven't been, we haven't

slept. We haven't slept in here yet so I don't know how the bed feels.

I mean it feels okay. I don't know where that came from.

Anyway so yeah .... moving on to the next one we got the balcony here which is nice.

We've got the laundry that we're gonna hang probably at some point. Wow that really is

starting to smell. Should probably open this up a little bit more.

We'll leave that open a little bit

Kudos to this Airbnb host in Osaka, we will definitely be staying with her again.

There's no complaints, it's amazing. We'll make sure to leave you guys the link to

the Airbnb down below. Alright thanks for joining us.

Warframe Storytime: Living in Japan - Duration: 5:32.

Hi.

This is going to be a different video from usual, if you couldn't tell by now.

Rather than bitch about something in Warframe that makes me angry or shitpost, I thought

it would be a nice change of pace to (for once) talk about something remotely related

to myself, as that's not something I typically do.

Anyways, sit back, and listen as I talk about living in Japan.

98.5% of the people that live in Japan are Japanese.

0.9% are Korean or Chinese.

The remaining 0.6% includes everyone else, such as myself.

Being a foreigner in a country that's the complete opposite of the US, which is basically

a giant ass combination of every culture on Earth, is an odd experience to say the least.

You don't get stared at by the locals as some people would have you believe, because most

Japanese people are actually quite introverted.

That's the best way I can put it.

Japan is a country of introverts, not that it's a bad thing.

You'd think that looking nothing like the locals would be reason enough to warrant people

to be fascinated by you, but that's not as true as you'd think.

Most people you come across keep to themselves, whether it be on the trains, on the streets,

etc.

It's common to hop aboard a train only to see that everyone on the train is sleeping

with headphones on or reading something on their phone with headphones on.

Everyone, even the elderly, do this.

As a result, 99.9% of the time when you ride a train, it's dead silent; apart from the

mechanical noises made by the train itself.

Obviously that's not the result of the Japanese being rude, because the Japanese go almost

out of their way to be as polite as possible, rivaling the Canadians to some extent.

Something to admire about the Japanese is their dedication to being considerate.

If somebody drops a wallet, nobody hesitates to return it.

If a foreigner is present, nobody hesitates to speak English, however limited it is.

If an elderly person walk aboard a train, nobody hesitates to give up their seat for

them.

Watching this sort of thing in action on an almost regular basis is fascinating each and

every time it happens, because it demonstrates how the people in general are just kind, almost

to the point of obsession.

Speaking of obsessions, the Japanese for whatever reason have a fascination for Americans and

their culture.

KFC for example is a hell of a lot more popular in Japan than in the US, especially around

Christmas time; where things get so crazy that Japanese families actually reserve KFC

meals in advance.

Anything and everything associated with Americans is glorified in some sort of way.

It truly does not matter what type of shop you walk into; electronics, clothing, adult

items, you name it, and the employees there just immediately brighten up.

It's something that I still don't understand, but just walking into a store is enough for

an employee to suddenly become more attentive and altruistic.

In a way, being American works against you.

If you're walking down a street and a Japanese street advertiser notices you coming, you

can bet your ass you're going to be stopped and given an ad for a restaurant or something

alike.

I find the only way to avoid being pulled aside in a manner like this is to put headphones

on like everyone else, walk forward, and stare.

This is the first time that I've ever seen practical usage of the phrase:

"When in Rome, do as the Romans do."

Aside from being polite, if there's anything that the Japanese absolutely emphasize; it's

efficiency.

Trains are very rarely late, and on the occasions that they are, it's usually due to mechanical

difficulties.

Shops and restaurants open on the dot (usually around 10 in the morning), and even then,

people typically line up outside and wait prior to the store actually opening, the same

way we treat Black Friday back in the States.

Any hole-in-the-wall restaurant that you walk into has a machine up front, ready to take

your order so all you have to do is find a seat and wait.

That just happens to be the norm, and anything that deviates from that is something new that

is completely unknown, such as when an American comes around.

In situations like this, Japanese people just become socially awkward, which in my case

is actually fantastic since I'm a nervous wreck around new people too.

This doesn't happen because the Japanese aren't considerate, but rather because they have

no clue how to deal with something that isn't part of their routine.

In a way, it's almost funny; given how nobody seems to mind all the displaying or selling

of merchandise with near-naked females, but when it comes to handling a social interaction

with a foreign stranger, shit hits the fan.

But then again, I suppose that's part of the reason why Western culture is a big deal here;

as better understanding it allows the Japanese to avoid breaking down into a socially inept

mess.

Regardless, Japanese culture is something that never ceases to interest me.

From what I've gathered, if you're a fucking nerd that is scared by the mere thought of

interacting with people, you're missing out.

It's fucking paradise.

Thank you for listening.

are you looking for a reason why you should travel to Tokyo Japan guide video

if so you're in the right place I'm going to share with you five awesome

each month check out my awesome Japanese candies subscription box value list kit

above or in the links and show notes in the description below if you've asked

yourself for a reason you should travel to Japan know that Japan is an amazing

country with a very rich and long cultural heritage what sites to see in

japan include metropolitan areas like tokyo are over the top and built up to

the sky you can spend half the day or more in a single block or even building

shopping in tokyo as most shops or built up and have eight or nine floors and if

you're in the Shinjuku district your favorite designer or brand will have a

store with a tour dyeing floors making it quite easy to forget about adding

diversity to your shopping experience reason number one traveling overseas to

another country if you've never been overseas or out of the country Japan is

an ally of the United States with US military bases when traveling in Japan

although Japanese of the official language you can find some English on

the street signs in the subways and scattered throughout local businesses to

help english speakers get by and when communicating in japan many japanese

people know some english if all else fails visiting another country and

learning about another culture is a life and witching experience and another

answer to the question why visit japan before I finished sharing more awesome

reasons to travel to Tokyo Japan don't forget to check out the links and show

notes in the YouTube description below to learn more about traveling to Tokyo

Japan or if you're interested in taking your own big trip to Japan click on the

link above or in the show notes below to check out the big trip to Japan travel

guide reason number 2 Japanese technology and lifestyle although a lot

of our consumer technology comes from Asia or is mass-produced in Asia Japan a

country of great pride and discipline is not a culture that is as obsessed with

convenience entertainment and pleasure as the US is obsessed an island nation

space is commodity hence everything in Japan a smaller much smaller the average

washing machine is probably the size of an extra-large bucket most people drive

their clothes on their clotheslines outside and in the winter and in the

rain the bathroom shower room is heated and used to hang dry clothes as well

the average refrigerator is probably the size of a giant dorm room with a drainer

in the US and I still have yet to figure out there are four or five types of

recycling I often had to leave stuff on the counter of my in-laws kitchen

because I just couldn't figure it out which been to use and I thought it was

rude to put it in the wrong bed but life and technology in Japan is not all grim

the Japanese internet is much faster as a matter of fact we rented a 183

megabits per second pocket Wi-Fi device with unlimited internet acces for up to

seven users and an eight to nine hour charge plus extra battery for about $250

for three weeks reason number three houses in Japan we usually stay in Japan

with family the houses and rooms are much smaller with the stairwells

oftentimes very steep I have diabetes and the bedrooms of my in-laws house in

Kisha ma area Takizawa City and Tokyo were upstairs

while these singular bathroom was downstairs I remember my first trip was

up the stairs and down the stairs several times every night as I

frequently had to relieve myself and in my mother-in-law's house the stairs were

so steep that I could use my hands coming up and down the stairs like using

a ladder when I asked my wife how they could possibly have gotten the furniture

up those stairs she said they actually wasted it through

the windows many Japanese homes do not have central air they have a different

type of AC unit located in the ceiling of the main rooms and bedrooms they get

pretty cold once you figure out how to work the remotes but it can be

sweltering in the hallways in the summer reason number four my favorite thing in

Japan Japanese bathrooms Japanese bathrooms are awesome the shower is more

or less the entire bathroom if a drain in the middle of the floor

Japanese people bathe either in the tub or squatting on a stool with the shower

handle but the handle could be raised high to shower western-style

many people have the hi-tech toilets on steroids in Japan that can warm the seat

and provide a cleansing squirt of various temperatures intensities and

patterns for both the rear and other parts it's actually better for your body

to cleanse with water instead of continuously scrubbing wet paper reason

number 5 developing an appreciation for America another answer to the question

why this is Japan is that it will help you appreciate America I love America

but I have my fair share of Wellington the complaints about my first visit to

Tokyo part of me was expecting to be blown away by what the Japanese may be

doing better than us never before in my life what I have thought that upon

returning to my humble abode from Japan just south of Kissimmee and in Disney of

Davenport Florida that I would consider my home

curious a spoiled American that was completely naive to the pleasantries we

take for granted even amongst other first world nations actually came back

with a greater appreciation for America and all of its modern conveniences and

opportunities thanks for watching this video subscribe here for more videos

like this watch another video about Japan travel guide hacks here or in the

How Xenoblade 2 Was Changed Outside Japan - Duration: 11:16.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 released for the Nintendo Switch recently to glowing reviews across

the board.

The title is the latest game in Nintendo's Xenoblade series and follows 2015's Xenoblade

Chronicles X.

Its predecessor made numerous different changes when it was localised for Western countries.

Due to this, questions began to arise over whether the localisation of Xenoblade 2 would

have similar changes.

And so, this video will be taking a look at Xenoblade 2's localisation and some of the

ways it was changed outside of Japan.

The first thing to bring up is the many name and terminology changes that were made to

the Western release.

Listed here are the names of the characters displayed on Nintendo's official website and

the Japanese version is displayed to the left and the English on the right.

As you can see, numerous of the characters were renamed outside of Japan.

Pyra, for instance, was originally called "Homura" over in Japan.

Both names are similar in meaning, with Homura being a Japanese word for flame and Pyra being

a Greek word for flame.

It's possible that the localisers felt that the latter would be more natural sounding

for Western audiences, but there are no official statements on why changes like these were

made.

Whilst Pyra's name change kept the original Japanese meaning, many of the other changes

either don't or make the meaning more obscure.

For example, Dromarch wasn't called Dromarch in Japan but Byakko.

Byakko is the name of one of the four mythological creatures in the Chinese constellation and

represents the White Tiger of the West.

For the English version though, it's not really clear where the name originates from.

Additionally, as stated, many of names were changed and not just main characters like

those listed here but minor characters, names of places and organisations, terminology and

more.

There are so many changes like these that Censored Gaming should really make a separate

video sometime taking a look at them all.

Out of the 17 characters listed here however, 12 of them were altered outside of Japan and

all of these have interesting points to say about them.

To move away from that though and on to Xenoblade 2's visual presentation -

You may recall how the previous game made many changes outside of Japan to things like

costumes, with this leading to the Western designs being less revealing in nature.

These changes also affected male outfits and was also accompanied by the complete removal

of the chest size slider in the character creation.

Xenoblade 2, however, has been handled very differently.

There have been no changes like this discovered in the Western version and all graphics have

been kept the same as in Japan.

Many of the characters will still also be quite provocative at times in terms of their

appearance, such as the ice-themed blade Dahlia.

Whilst the graphics were kept consistent between the versions though, the same can't be said

for the game's dialogue.

It wasn't just the names and terminology altered in the Western release but also some of the

conversations that characters will have.

This leads to things like personality changes for certain characters and differences in

characters' stories.

Some of these changes also toned down potentially objectionable content.

To begin with Tora's grandpa Soosoo, who's not visually depicted in the game but will

be brought up in the dialogue in many different scenes.

In one of these scenes, you can ask Tora what sort of person his grandpa was and this leads

him to describe his grandpa as a bit of a shut in, who was focused very heavily on his

work.

In the English version, he is described as spending large amounts of time looking at

"photo books of Blades" and that he was really passionate about their appearance and mannerisms.

It is then said, that due to this passion, Poppi became the blade she is today.

The original intent behind this scene is somewhat hinted at in the English version, but over

in Japan, it is very direct and explicit.

The "photo books of Blades" were also vastly different.

In the Japanese version, instead of locked away studying photo books of Blades, it is

erotic books of women.

It is then these erotic books that led to Poppi's different designs.

Poppi also mentions that his activities "seems like a crime".

So, there you have it, that's the Japanese back story of Tora's grandpa Soosoo and what

would ultimately lead to the creation of Poppi.

But to move away from that and onto Poppi herself -

The first thing to bring up about Poppi is a change that was made to her name outside

of Japan.

In the Japanese version, her name is instead "Hana", which is Japanese for flower.

The English name Poppi is also, of course, flower-related and so with this the localisers

kept the original meaning in-tact.

There was another change made to Poppi's name though and this applies to all 3 of her different

forms.

In the English version, she will either be called Poppi α, Poppi QT or Poppi QTπ.

In the Japanese version though, she will be called either Hana JS, Hana JK or Hana JD.

The significance with the Japanese version is that all of these acronyms are used to

describe different Japanese education years.

The idea is that as Poppi's model develops, the education year acronym goes up too and

this was something that wasn't carried over to the Western release.

An example of a scene involving Poppi being changed is the bunny armour scene.

You can't actually see the armour in either version, but the scene involves the characters

discussing some new armour that's been designed for Poppi and, in the English version, this

is a fluffy bunny costume.

Poppi says that its additional function is to cheer up Tora with "extreme cuteness" but

the other characters are dubious about this and believe that's the armour "only" purpose.

There's also a "tail-wiggle dance" special feature, to boost the cheer up effect even

further.

This leads the gang to scold Tora for dressing Poppi so ridiculously.

Tora then goes on to blame his grandpa and father for the designs, which Poppi confirms

and says the bunny armour had been passed down through generations, with each of them

improving on the design.

But, she then goes on to add that it was Tora who finally completed the design, by adding

the tail-wiggle dance protocol.

And so, the harsh criticism directed towards Tora continues from the other characters.

The Japanese version, however, goes pretty differently.

Instead of cute bunny armour, the armour was originally "bikini armour".

The bikini armour's special feature was changed to match, with this now being an "armour purge"

feature, where, when it takes an attack, the section of the bikini that gets hit falls

apart.

Like the English version, it is revealed that Tora isn't responsible for the overall design

but his father and grandpa.

However, also like the English version, it is then revealed that Tora was the one to

finish it by adding the armour purge feature, which leads the other characters to get mad

at him.

Another of Poppi's scenes that was changed was the scene with Poppi QTπ, where she is

asked about additional functions.

In the English version, she activates what is called "Dog Mode" and starts barking like

a dog...

This embarrasses Tora who tells her to immediately shut it off.

He explains that this mode was for walks in the park but was sealed so that people wouldn't

think he was weird.

Zeke then agrees, saying it's more than a little weird, and then asks Tora why he doesn't

just get a real dog.

Over in Japan, however, the mode is a little different.

This is what happens when the function is activated in Japan.

As you heard, the dog-like barking is much more minimal.

She does still make dog barking noises though, with the Japanese onomatopoeia for dog barking

being the word "wan", but unlike the English version, she has much more dialogue than this.

The Japanese script has her saying that she will be all cute and sweet for everybody and

basically she turns into a sort of cute and innocent servant.

The Japanese version also makes no mention of walking dogs in the park, with Tora just

saying that people will be very "suspicious" of that personality and so she must seal it

off.

Zeke doesn't mention Tora getting a dog either, but instead scorns him and asks if this is

his hobby.

Another character that has some notable script changes outside of Japan is Sheba.

Sheba is a rich girl who only cares about beauty, wealth and banquets.

She travels around in a floating bathtub, in search of an entourage full of "charming

ladies", so that they can have graceful tea parties.

The "charming ladies" part is something that will be reflected very much in her character.

She will pay most of her attention to the female party members and will often give them

compliments.

She also has skills such as "Entitled Entourage", which increases damage by 20% for each female

in battle and "Eye for Beauty", which looks for girls to add to her entourage.

Over in Japan though, this is all very different.

She isn't looking for an entourage in the Japanese version.

Instead she is looking for "cute girls" to form a harem.

A harem is a type of relationship where one person will receive love and affection from

many different people.

And, in Sheba's case, she is looking for as many cute girls as possible.

This implies that Sheba has strong lesbian feelings in the Japanese version.

To go along with this, her Japanese dialogue will be much more flirtatious in nature when

talking to the other girls.

These are just a few example of ways that suggestive or potentially objectionable dialogue

was toned down outside of Japan.

Another example, for instance, occurs when Pyra says that she will be able to help in

raising money, to which, gramps replies "nothing illegal, I hope!".

In the Japanese version though, he says "You don't mean... your body?"

- referring to prostitution or some other taboo form of her raising money with her body.

Overall though, Xenoblade 2 is a very big game and toning down moments like these is

pretty rare.

To just bring a few more of the name and terminology changes mentioned earlier though -

Elysium, the fabled location that supposedly rests at the top of the world tree, is instead

called "Rakuen" in the Japanese version.

Rakuen is a generic term for paradise and can be used for all manner of religions.

Elysium, on the other hand, is a form of the afterlife from specifically Ancient Greek

beliefs.

Within Xenoblade 2, Elysium was a true utopia and the people there lived in bliss with their

creator, The Architect.

However, one day they were suddenly cast out and made to live in the world below.

The Architect in the Japanese version instead goes by the name "Sōsei no kami", which means

God of Creation.

The Aegis, Xenoblade 2's legendary weapon that carries Pyra and Mithra as its incarnations,

was also renamed in the West.

In Japan it is called "Ten no seihai", meaning Heavenly Holy Grail.

Its English name, however, is based on a shield from Ancient Greek mythology.

There are other changes like this and from them, it appears that perhaps the localisers

wanted to tone down certain religious elements for Western audiences.

As mentioned at the start of the video though, the script changes to the game are vast and

extend well past toning down provocative elements.

For example, some of the changes are pretty random in nature, such as this scene.

Here Rex asks Pyra what date it is and she says that it's "Amathatober 5th, 4058"...

In the Japanese version though, there isn't a month called "Amathatober" at all.

Originally, she just said that it's "September 5th, 4058", meaning this is something the

localisers decided to add in themselves.

Visual-wise however, as previously stated, there have been no changes found between the

Japanese and English versions.

It's only when you take a look at the game's writing can differences be found.

What are your thoughts about how Xenoblade 2's localisation was handed?

Please leave your thoughts in the comments below and, if localisation changes like these

are an area of gaming that you are interested in, please make sure to subscribe and set

notifications to on.

Until next time, thank you for watching.

- you should come here because a lot fun and cool stuff -

- is happening here!

Check it out!

So right now, we are actually on our way for a dinner.

We are gonna meet with a girl called Mari..

She's a youtuber and her and I are gonna make -

- some video-opidobidups..

We're gonna make a video.

We don't really know, what to do..

I have some ideas, but now Anton is taking me to..

What's the place called?

Don Quijote.

Don Quijote -

- and it's supposed to be a place with a lot of crap -

- like very cheap, stuff that you can buy -

- and that sounds fun so let's do that.

Okay, okay let's go..

Wow, wow..

The thing is, you don't realize when I'm vlogging like this -

- there's so many people that are walking!

Yeah so sorry, guys, sorry..

Okay bye, sorry, okay Don Quijote here we go!

Wooow! MEGA DON QUIJOTE!

You didn't know it, but I read Japanese..

Anton?

You like my new mask?

Oh my god this! check it out!

There's a lot of stuff here to dress out..

They really like christmas..

You hate it, you absolutely hate it

I really love!

It's like all the best things from China -

- in one place..

Oh hey guys..

How can you not love this?

Oh it fell off..

They have everything here..

Check out this thing guys..

It's a thing you put on your face so you don't snore!

That's smart, I need that..

No I don't..

There are so many people here..

Hey guys!

Hello!

This is Mari!

Hello world, It's Mari!

Link in the descdiblahblahblah..

How's it going?

Blooper!

Uuh I'm doing great yeah..

How are you?

We just met!

We just met, and now we're in this amazing place.

It looks like it's like street food outside..

Yeah!

We're actually on the 3th floor in a building -

Yeah we're gonna eat natto, which is like -

- fermented beans..

I'm not sure you can eat it but you can try..

I think i tried that already, but like in a different version -

- so I'm.. I'm excited!

And also like, I saw him in Seoul..

Like I saw him on the street!

This is crazy!

You walked right passed me..

And I vlogged, so I'm gonna..

Did you film me vlogging?

No I didn't! I should've!

Noo!

I know but..

Vlogception..

So now we're gonna get some food.

I feel like coming here to japan Is really exciting..

It's my second time here in Tokyo so I kind of got -

- all the culture shock the first time I was here..

Now it's like, I so many questions..

You said to me before, like didn't you see -

- all the girls looking at you?

Yeah, no, no you!

And me yeah, yeah, yeah.

Well first of all, he's really tall..

You know like Japan, there're not so many tall people..

Asian girls like I can't be loud about this but like -

- asian girls super love european people..

Guys a lot..

Listen up guys..

You can definitely model here..

No, check out this double chin..

This is not a model face..

You can't, you can't, I'm sorry..

I take it back yeah..

If I meet a cute girl from Japan -

- I feel like, people are very, maybe shy..

Very shy!

Very shy.

Very shy..

So if I ever meet a cute girl what do I do?

You know like, a lot of like american people especially -

- like they have, some pickup lines -

- be ready right? -

- but like pickup lines do not work well here..

You know what I mean?

Like girls, would be like, what you even talking about?

No, I tried that..

What did you say?

I did, I did this, did this one -

Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?

That's so cheesy that would work..

Oooouhh..

You can actually go pick up a girl, and be like, I mean -

- oh sorry, you have something in your eye -

- oh, no it's just a sparkle..

What a good intro, like a.. -

- to start a date conversation with a cute girl, or boy?

You should say like, "oh, you're my type"

Aaah, yeah yeah okay..

How do you say that?

You are my type..

It's a long sentence okay..

You can say like: you are my type..

Ah nabidi-type-binaus

You are my type..

You are my type..

Oh yeah yeah yeah!

You are my type..

Yeah, that makes sense..

And then girls be like: "no like, you're like kidding me.."

But like, what should I do -

- If I go to your country?

Ooh..

So definitely in europe, girls are wearing the pants -

- like, they're in control -

- in like in dating they're in control..

So, they'll be like nah nah nah nah..

Interesting..

Yeah Japanese girls, we kind of have to act really cute -

- and innocent..

You, don't have to do that because you are already cute!

It's just the truth, it's just the truth!

It is a pick-up line, for all Japanese girls..

Yes..

So you can, never expect, from a girl to be like -

- hey, you, want to go on a date?

And then just like, where do we wanna go kind of thing?

Yeah, sure pick a place i'll see you there at 5..

No you have to pick a place..

McDonald's?

No?

This is so difficult! -

- and talking about food, we got it, some of it!

Oou!

Guys, this is a Japanese beer called...

- I don't remember..

It's a beer, it's a beer and it's pretty good -

- so if you ever go to Japan, drink the beer!

- unless you're under 16 in my country -

- then don't drink the beer..

Drink the.. I don't know.. water, juice?

Look how stringy it is..

Okay I'm gonna take a decent bite..

Have you ever had the raw chicken before?

No, no, no, my mom says it's very dangerous..

Raw chicken, raw eggs..

That's pretty yummy!

Ouohohoh!

Okay, 3..2..1 and it's gonna be my birthday..

Happy birthday!

But isn't that so good though?

It's not good!

That is so good though!

It's really good, I really love it..

You love it?

I love it!

Wauw what a difference, what a difference..

Oh, hello guys!

So, my battery, my battery went out so now -

- we're here..

But it was the best timing though -

- like you just have a natto, and like -

- you were just reacting to it and then you're like beeeh!

But now, another day, another karaoke room..

We're having so much fun and uuh -

- yeah, we are chilling and we actually -

- did something illegal..

We brought in our own beers -

- but that's not allowed..

We're, gonna get like caught, and deported, i'm sorry..

Really?

I mean I'm not, gonna deported but like -

- you're gonna get deported, because I'm just -

They might depot, they might throw you out as well..

So now, I'm gonna sing a song for you guys.

It's a song you all well know..

It's called ablah blah blah -

- and uuuh..

- it's called, bla bla bla bla bla bla..

So guys, now i'm gonna sing to you a song..

Oh my god!

You can sing too if you want to..

I'll be dancing here..

You, gotta, go and get angry at all of my honesty.

You know I try, but I don't do too well with apologies.

Is it too late now to say sorry because I'm -

- missing more than just your body.

Is it too late now to say sorry?

Yeah, I knooow that I let you down.

Is it too late now to say I'm sorry now?

Sorry!

I'm sorry, yeah!

Sorry!

Yeah, I knooow that I let you down.

Is it too late now to say I'm sorry now?

And I think that's a wrap for this karaoke..

No it's gonna be more..

Bye!

Bye bye!

Byeee!

Byee!

Bye!

Is this the ending?

This is how you end this video?

Huh?

Is this how you end this video?

I see you..

I seeeee yoou..

That is how I know..

I can't walk in the street..

I will, because I will get killed..

Okay, bye, bye!

No, Logan Paul, You Can't Do What You Did In Japan - Duration: 10:01.

[Pencil scratching]

[Pokemon game sound]

Oh, boy.

Logan.

Logan.

What are you doing?

I don't understand, what...

What are you doing?

There's a pretty big chance you already know who Logan Paul is.

I talked about Jake Paul a tiny amount, before, in a previous video.

And now we're gonna talk about his older brother, more popular brother.

And let's just talk about being a respectful person,

a respectful YouTuber, really just a respectful person altogether.

So yesterday, or, actually I think it was a few days ago,

Logan posted a video of him in Japan.

Not only was he in Japan, more specifically, he was in,

how do you pronounce this correctly, Aokigahara ?

Deaf accent coming out here, but the Sea of Trees, the Japanese Suicide Forest, he was in that.

And just hearing "Suicide Forest",

you can probably guess what the forest is.

It's a place where people go and they ultimately end their lives there.

Usually by hanging or an overdose.

He went to the Japanese Forest, the Suicide Forest.

Not only did he go there with no permission, by the way,

and anyone who goes there, or goes to Japan, will at least check ahead of time, to -

anyone with any sense would go and check what you should do or not do,

in a culture that is completely different than yours.

He goes into the forest, with cameras, he films, without permission,

this is a place that you're not supposed to film in,

finds a body, that was hanged - my English teacher says "hanged",

everybody else says "hung"- and he films it, he films it,

he laughs about it, and people are saying this is kind of a nervous laughter,

which, okay, I understand having a nervous kind of laughing about it,

out of nervousness, but - just give me a second -

he films that, he films this body and apparently,

he says something about making YouTube history and all this kinds of stuff.

And he uploads the video.

Not only does he upload the video, with the body in the clip

- yes, he blurred out the person's face, but really?

But he makes a thumbnail with the body on it.

A thumbnail is a marketing tool on YouTube, so to do that, I just cannot comprehend.

And then he gets backlash for the thumbnail,

and then he changes the thumbnail to, I think, just himself.

The video was still up there for quite some time, it had millions and millions of views,

and 500-600,000 likes and very few dislikes

compared to that big of a positive number.

And then the internet finds about it, like, the side of the internet

that really wants nothing to do with Logan Paul.

I think it was Hank Green that mentioned it.

And then we're all just, we all just kind of look at it and go,

"What the hell are you doing?".

And like Reina Scully said,

this is happening on a sacred day, this is happening on New Year's Day,

and you're going to this forest without permission - this is -

how rude and disrespectful do you really need to be?

What goes through your mind when you see this?

And you just think "I need to film this and put it on YouTube".

I just, I don't quite understand that.

What made you think that was a good idea to do?

For the most part, he's getting a lot of criticism, a lot of backlash,

for doing this type of thing,

but of course you have the "Logang" or the Mavericks, or whoever the hell.

Saying, "It's a dead body. You see dead bodies. Stop being so sensitive".

Yes, dead bodies are real.

What - Logan, if this was his own sibling, his own family member,

his own friend, would he do the same thing if he randomly came across someone that he knew?

Would he film it and put it up on YouTube?

Your fanbase is so young.

Why would you...

Why would you let your fanbase, your very young fanbase watch something like that?

But also, this particular forest is such a sacred place.

You do not go in there without permission, you certainly do not film anything without permission.

The Anime Man on YouTube has done videos on it,

but he got permission from the Japanese government

and he got permission from his sponsor, because it was a sponsored video,

and he was allowed to film in the forest, however the government makes it

very, very clear that you are not to film actual bodies.

If you come across a body, turn off the cameras, that's it, you can talk about it later.

But don't film this particular moment.

And that is something that if Jake...

Logan.

You can't - I can't even - you mix the two up, you mix the two up.

What would have been the better thing to do, if Logan really needed to talk about this,

then make it a suicide awareness, mental health awareness video.

Turn off the cameras, again, go back to your room,

when you go back to your room, and then talk about it, and then

talk about how suicide is a problem,

how mental health is a big thing and needs to be talked about.

But you just don't do that by showing an actual body.

When you see a body, you go tell the authorities.

You don't film it and put it on YouTube.

And he's making this apology about how it was a human mistake.

You had so many chances, from that time that you saw it

and you filmed it, and you went back, you put it into the computer

and you edited it, you did everything else

and then upload, and make the thumbnail as well -

you had so many chances and you just couldn't think, "Oh, maybe I shouldn't put this up there".

I've been doing this for a long time now and I would never think to go to another country,

treat the country with a bunch of disrespect in the first place, looking at the other vlogs,

but especially, I would not go into this forest at all, first and foremost,

especially without permission, and...

And then you have this other side of people saying, "Stop talking about Logan Paul,

or at least stop mentioning his name, because it all it does is make it rele--make him relevant.

You're making him relevant.

Stop talking about it".

First of all, Logan Paul has already been relevant.

His fanbase makes him relevant, we...

So it doesn't really matter.

The other thing is that this needs to be talked about.

I don't know if you wanna, like, sit in the corner and,

you know, twiddle your thumbs and just sit there and be, like, "Oh, I don't wanna get involved".

Which, if you don't wanna get involved, fine, but you can't ignore the problem.

And yes, mentioning the person is important because this person is the problem.

And this isn't the first time that he's been a problem

- pulling stunts at VidCon that was risk--that risked

the safety of himself, of his fanbase, of the people working at VidCon,

and his apology, and the fact -

the one thing that really rubs me the wrong way about the apology

was that he said "I didn't do this to get views", which, of course you did this to get views.

When we film videos and we put them up, we want them to get views.

That's how this works, OK?

That's just how this works, don't pretend you didn't do it for views.

But then he follows "I did not do it for views" with "I get views."

"I didn't do it for the views, I already get them".

That is just not how you issue an apology.

It's like, "If I really wanted so many views, I don't need you to do it".

I just...

I mean, out of all the things that both Logan and Jake Paul have done, combined,

this really just takes the cake.

It's one thing to be a jerk and it's one thing to be like...

This.

You don't film dead bodies for YouTube, you don't film them for anything.

Leave it alone.

And what really doesn't help is that YouTube let this stay,

and then let it go to Trending - Number 10 on Trending.

And no, YouTube did not take the video down - Logan took the video down himself

after getting backlash,

and then he makes that apology saying, "I've never been criticised like this before".

Yeah, you have, yeah you have.

Maybe not to this extent but you have definitely been criticised over and over and over again,

along with your brother.

You see LGBTQ creators getting flagged, demonetized,

disabled creators getting monetized,

people making mental health videos - flagged, demonetized.

People that are on, like, this side of the YouTube world

who are actually trying to help out the world - getting flagged, demonetized and all of that

but this, this video stays up, goes Trending,

and YouTube has no desire to actually get rid of it, themselves.

YouTube, also, what are you doing?

And yeah, the video may have been taken down, but all it took was one person to download it

and then reupload it onto another channel,

and now it's just going and being reuploaded throughout the internet.

I can only imagine that if that was - that,

if that person there was my family member,

and then I just happened to see the vlog, and oh! There's a person that I know,

yes, the face may be blurred but you could probably tell,

sometimes you can just look at something and tell, look at the clothing and, you know, whatever else.

I just, I don't...

Stay far away from cultures that are not yours,

from places that require respect, lots and lots of respect,

because that's something that you do not have in your brain, in your heart,

anywhere in your body, that's all I have to say, don't...

No one is perfect but just don't, don't do som--don't do something like that,

don't support something like that.

I'll see you later. Bye.

LOGAN PAUL: DID BIGGEST MISTAKE OF HIS LIFE. Outrage over YouTuber's Japan dead man video. - Duration: 1:07.

Logan Paul: Outrage over YouTuber's Japan dead man video.

An American YouTube star has prompted a barrage of criticism after he posted a video which

showed the body of an apparent suicide victim in Japan.

The video showed Logan Paul and friends at the Aokigahara forest at the base of Mount

Fuji, known to be a frequent site of suicides.

Going in to film the "haunted" forest, they come across a man's body and are shocked,

but also make jokes.

Online comments have called the video "disrespectful" and "disgusting".

The video was uploaded on Sunday and had millions of views on YouTube before it was taken down.

Logan Paul, who has more than 15 million subscribers on YouTube, has since posted an apology on

Twitter, saying he had been "misguided by shock and awe".

Logan Paul - We found a dead body in the Japanese Suicide Forest (Subtitles) (HD Video) (REUPLOAD) - Duration: 15:09.

Okay this is not clickbait this is the most real vlog I've ever posted on this

channel and this is the most circumstantially surreal event that has

ever happened in my life I'm not monetizing this video for obvious

reasons I will say before you watch. This is graphic,I think this definitely marks

a moment in youtube history because I'm pretty sure this has never hopefully

happened to anyone on YouTube ever. Now with that said buckle the f**k up because

you're never going to see a video like this again

[Music]

Hello now I know what you're thinking. Logan what the heck is that

That giant mountainous structure is Mount Fiji that is where they make Fuji

water..No,Mount Fuji..Fiji water is made in Fiji. Fuji apples are made there

Fuji waters made there Fuji water's made over there Don't tell me you don't learn anything

on this channel Aye yo good morning Logang what's poppin'

Its almost 2018, it's the last day of 2017 let's recap for second guys I hope you

had an amazing year I hope you achieve all the goals you wanted to I hope you

had all the sex you wanted to, I hope you got A's on all your tests, I hope you got

better shape but if you didn't do me a favor come up with a new year's

resolution by the end of this vlog cuz we gonna make 2018 great our family's

only getting stronger by the end of 2018 no one knows where the Logan's gonna be so if you have not subscribed

yet, Join the strongest family on YouTube the Logang as you know

Logang, you guys know this my life moves out a thousand miles per hour it's lights camera action and

like two years ago I fell in love with the idea of for New Year's slowing it

down like going somewhere that's really isolated and instead of going out or

partying I'm kind of like we're sort of finding myself so we're in Tokyo Japan

where I figured this was the perfect time to do it because if you look to my

right logang, I give you the Aokigahara Forest

Now here's don't make fun of it but this is a big deal why cuz this forest is also known as the

sea of trees also known as the Japanese suicide forest

Why we have to be in this part This is not a f**king joke

So this is an ancient forest that lies at the base of Mount Fiji, Fuji, Huh Fuji

Fuji water, Fiji water,Fuji like, Fuji you like an apple. Oh like a doctor an apple a day

keeps the doctor away you dummy We gotta focus this is not a... stop

You've seen the videos logang they make

movies about this place they read books about this place, people legitimately

come here to commit suicide about 100 people per year. There's absolutely zero

cell phone service so if you get lost you're f**ked

Okay so dead serious though, when we rolled up here don't say dead, Dude you can't say dead

at a suicide forest, when I rolled up I got the weirdest feeling guys, No joke guys

this place is creepy, so weird. One visitor described the silence as chasms of emptiness, some believe the

ghosts of those abandoned in the mournful spirits of the suicidal linger

in the woods

Folklore claims they are vengeful dedicated to tormenting visitors and

luring those that are sad and lost off the path

[Music]

So allegedly this place is haunted Well that's f**ked up

Cause we're spending the night there That's our canopy tent we also brought a

bunch of stuff for sleeping and camping, and a football to have fun

We got a binoculars so we can see the ghosts

Hey ghosts SIGNS, YO it's scary as this is, we do have our security his name is just Sushi

Now two days ago he had one flashlight yesterday he had two flashlights

Today my man has three flashlights

Ghosts hate flashlights, yeah we are going camping in the suicide forest, I will say if I'm getting haunted by a

ghost I'm gonna do it in my f**king Gucci jacket I wanna to look good, just a couple of

dumb Americans going camping in a suicide forest so we got all our gear we

got a canopy tent, pillows, sleeping bag, logang this is not a plan guys this is definitely gonna be a thing

Camp fire not Forest fire

Camp fire not a Forest fire thanks to the clarification

Can i just put a quick message out there.

Hey if there's ghost in this forest please please leave us alone

Thanks

So this is it and we're officially stepping off the trail into the forest,

Got a 24 hour overnight challenge Who's doin' it!

[Music]

Hey um, I really hate to say this

I think there's someone hanging right there, mmm I'm not even f**kin' kidding, did you see it

I'm not even, this isn't no f**king joke guys that's a fu**ing person..No.. I think you are fu**ing right.

Oh my God..Dude what the heck.. Give me the camera, lets go...what the heck

I have never seen a

dead person, you haven't, No bro.. Oh what the f**k i'm lookin' at

Oh my god..he's hanging well do we just find a

dead person in a suicide forest hanging yes, Sushi do you think that's real

Well it could be because one of my classmate in

the junior high school he really killed himself

NO..Yeah when he (You're kidding) was only 21 (kidding) No..Thats true, Logan

Excuse me..How long do you how long do you think he did that, yo this is crazy dude

No this is ain't fu**ing real bro

We gotta call the police Call the police bro

Hello

Yo what the f**k actually, bro you alive, are you f**king with us, so okay

A lot of things going through my mind, um this is the first for me

This is definitely a first for me, this literally probably just happened, um yes sushi you called the police

this is very... dude his hands are purple, he did this this morning..Oh no, I'm so sorry about

this Logang this was supposed to be fun vlog we were gonna address this before

we saw this..We were...I'm not just saying this but I was gonna set up the camp and

everything obviously and now experiencing it in real life and firsthand

Suicide is not a joke, depression and mental illnesses are not a joke

No way, we came here with an intent to focus on the haunted aspect of the forest

This just became very real and obviously a lot of people are going through a lot of shit in

their lives and we just want you guys to know that if you're going through

anything like we're here for you your friends your family, the logang's here for you

there are people out there speaking for you (exactly) we just want you guys to know that and remember that

Suicide is not the answer guys there are people that love you and care for you like I said we're gonna do this before

this happens, this just turned really fu**ing way to scarily real

The craziest part about this, the parking lot is right there dude yeah, its literally

right there like guys we're 100 yards away from parking lot, I don't I don't

feel very good (yeah i don't feel good) wait you never never stand next to a

dead guy, No (laughs at the end of his carrer)

God Dammit, like we joke about seeing things in the year

It was all it was gonna be a joke yeah this is all gonna be a joke

Why did it become so real, so there's a thing that is now in our life

so we just experienced wtf is going on.

I dont know dude (i don't know) Aghh..Why, its sinking in bro. This wasn't supposed to happen man.

It just doesn't make

sense, his bag is right there he's got stuff

in his pants, why am I still here what the f**k we're doing

I've never seen a dead person like like I've never discovered a dead person (never discovered)

a dead person it's not something I really planned on doing yeah yeah.. I will say as

you know you can see we blurred the face of the victim because we felt like we

should protect his identity, Authorities are on their way this is the most real

vlog I've ever made

400 plus vlogs and I've never, I've never had a more real moment than this..This is fu**ing awkward

What the f**k

I feel like this was a stupid hat to wear

What are the chances we choose this this part of the path to walk down there

It's fate Andy (crazy) it's not like we could see it, it's right there but you

can't see it, it's how our lives unfold there's no going back

I've seen things I can't unsee, We found a dead body...Yeahh wtf (strange face)

You guys got a dead guy in your forest, 4 North South East (trying to be funny)

Bro you can just tell he's been here before, Oh my f**king god..Yeah Sushi is taking to

talking to what looks like a doctor, [You can't enter the restricted area] (What)

You can't enter the restricted area..You can't enter

You told us a little too late bro we've seen a little too much already

There's kids running around, what if the f**king kids stumble upon this guy

crazy that's still life that's still life this daily vlog life guys have said this

in one of my first vlogs, I have chosen to entertain you guys every single day

and I made a commitment to that guys four days ago I was literally I was dying

Oh sh*t, probably not the yeah you were, i was sick and I chose to still vlog and

I've chosen to share stuff positive or negative because this is my life and

this is how I document it you're the logang you're the family and this is all part of

it's the vlog life BUT I gotta say this is top 5 craziest things I've ever

experienced in my life top five, top one this is the craziest thing

I've ever experienced, I ain't gonna be sober finished, Let me drink this Japanese

sake, it's just really fu**ing craziest moment of my life, I'm sorry for swearing

so much I'm already getting flgged for demonetization bro (f**k), me smiling and

laughing does not, is not a portrayal of how I feel about the circumstances

it's just your coping mechanism it's my (everyone copes with shit differently) you cope with it with humor, if you guys

haven't noticed I do I cope with things with humor while this is incredibly sad

I have said this a thousand times it's crazy ( can i get another shot)

Yo, its crazy, are you in the logang. Do you know me

Yeah, no way okay I have one piece of advice okay listen closely

don't go over there, definitely don't go over there

See, this is the expression of japanese No Way

But we are from Australia..SO Ohk

All right guys all jokes aside we should have listened to this f**king football, we should

have listened to this SIGNS. I knew that this day was just gonna be crazy ever

since we shot the mountain it just like the vibes were off now actually though

guys all jokes aside, like I said earlier Suicide, mental illnesses, depression

these are very very real things, there are people that love you guys, there are people that care about you

Suicide is not the answer, literally guys what I preach every day is being a

maverick and like it's okay to be different it's okay to be unique in fact

I encourage you to do that so if you're feeling ostracized or isolated that's

fine being depressed is fine, what's not okay is when you don't seek help or talk to people don't feel like you have to

hide your feelings stay strong whatever it is you're going through

anyone can achieve that feeling of being fulfilled and being content and I truly

believe that every person has a place on this earth, with that said weird one this is a weird one

We were all today was shook...You guys recovered

Shook I'm still rattled (shook)

Is it bad if i..to the subscribe

maybe ah nah man this is why I do it so people can can live the journey

with me so if you're not a part of the

logang make sure to subscribe, Tomorrow's vlog I promise you it will be

much happier than this and from the bottom of my heart logang I love you

guys and I'll see you tomorrow, take it easy fam (peace)

【#019】あけましておめでとう!日本の新年~Happy new year! Events at the beginning of the year in Japan!~ - Duration: 5:01.

Mt.Fuji!!

Hey guys! It's Misaki!

As you can see the background, I came back to my hometown, Gifu!

Finally it's 2018…!

Happy new year and I look forward to your continued good will in the coming year.

I'll talk about Japanese new year today.

First of all, let me tell you about new year's greeting. When you see someone for the first time in new year, we say "Akemashite omedetou gozaimasu".

You can reply "Akemashi te omedetou gozaimasu" or "Omedetou gozaimasu".

I will introduce to you three new year cultures "hatsumoude", "nengajo" and "otoshidama".

The first one is "hatsumoude".

Many Japanese people visit a Shinto shrine in order to make New Year's wishes. This is called hatsumode, the first visit to a shrine.

Like this, you can make New Year's wishes.

There are so many people in some famous shrines in Kyoto and Tokyo on new year day.

Next one is "nengajo".

As I told you in previous video, "nengajo" is New Year's card.

We send it to our friends, relatives and the people we work with.

Nowadays, we send nengajo by email and other mobile applications because of the increasing number of people using cellphones and social networking services.

The last one is "otoshidama".

It is a gift of money we get on New Year's day from our family.

Actually I got it!!

Depending on the ages, elementary school school students will get about 3,000yen and junior high school students, high school students and university students will get about 5,000yen to 10,000yen.

So if you were Japanese and have many relatives in Japan, you would get a lot of otoshidama. On the other hand, the parents have to give a lot of otoshidama.lol

Actually I got "otoshidama" from my mother's aunt and my two grandmothers even I'm already 23 years old…!!I was very surprised.

Today I've talked about three Japanese New Year cultures "hatsumoude", "nengajo" and "otoshidama".

Actually we have so many other cultures such as "osechi ryori", "ozouni" and "kadomatsu", however these cultures are disappearing because of globalization...

If you're interested, check them out on websites and enjoy your new year!

If you like my channel, don't forget to give me a Like and please subscribe my channel! It would be the new year's gift for me!

See you in the next video!

Thank you so much for watching! Bye!
