EVERYBODY DIES!

Wow! We did it!

Since we're in this tag league, we both wanted to bring out 100% of our power.

I was on the brink many times today, but Koji came to my rescue every time.

So, I had to make it worth it.

We can't lose anymore. Koji saved me and got me to the end-

We did it. Thanks Koji.

I thought if I didn't go for it in the end, we'd been done.

So, I just had to go, after Koji assisted me so much.

I had to meet his expectations. It's been many years but I believed I could do it.

So, I had to go for it there.

Koji, thank you.

Even though we've lost 4 times,

We can get back on track from here. It's not over.

Koji, thank you.

You never see pro-wrestling like that today, full of joy.

That is the ultimate reason why we wrestle.

Today's match was a concentrated effort, so we can satisfy the people.

Today, we proved that we are still alive in 2018.

So, I think we can win the whole tournament… Maybe.

Thank you.

Japan's Most Unusual Volunteer Firemen - Duration: 3:14.

Fire.

It's played a crucial role in Japan's religions,

and history.

Japanese houses are generally built of wood.

Though this reduces the damage from earthquakes,

It increases the likelihood of devastating fires.

In the olden days when a fire broke out,

the local chief would spin a heavy metal crest

to announce the blaze.

Nowadays they have a less colorful – though probably more effective –

way to spot fires.

Every neighborhood has its own volunteer fire brigade

that patrols the streets each night.

The call "watch out for fires"

and the clapping wood

is meant to remind people to turn off their gas heaters before going to bed.

Though sometimes they can't resist the chance to elaborate.

The volunteers do more than just look for fires – they cut down on crime

and encourage old fashioned village camaraderie.

The equipment gets very little use.

These volunteers don't actually fight fires.

They use their cell phones to call the fire department.

And in between patrols, there's always time to shoot the breeze.

Though if the whole exercise doesn't seem that serious,

think again.

This is, after all, Japan.

It takes six months of training to qualify for a patrol.

You have to have the proper uniform,

the proper attitude, and know the proper drill.

And have the official firefighter's passport,

open to the proper page.

Though they don't REALLY take themselves that seriously.

Until it's time to head out again

and keep the streets of old Kyoto safe

and fire-free.

VADO DALLO PSICOLOGO IN GIAPPONE: Parlo di me - Duration: 10:02.

-if you would have a child with a japanese girl,

ah you know?

I'm going to the psycologist

Hello and welcome to a new video with Seba!

Today I'm going to a session by the psychologist

and he will ask me all sort of questions

and I'm going to answer.

This one is the last video that I'm going to do today, so I have 14 minutes left

So I'm going to say bye now, because I don't know if I can afterwards

ok, now a session by the psychologist starts, and let's see which problems Seba has.

-why did you decide to open a Youtube channel?

There are two things that brought me on YouTube

1st I met some italian YTbers that all had success

and I thought that it would be fun to comunicate with italians

but that was only 30%

the rest was because I met Matt e Bise (famous youtubers)

and after seeing their wrong prospective of Japan

since they showed bad things on their channel

I know that my channel is small compared to theirs, but I want to show something else

how japanese people are in real life.

-how do you feel, when you hear accusations that you hate foreigners, italians...and that you speak bad about Italy?

I think that people that say those things, don't know me in real life

because first of all, I love Italy

I have a lot of italian friends

I really LOVE Italy, I don't know why you're saying those things

I think that it's their problem

anyway

I love Italy, but I also love Japan

I don't know, but there are people that can love only one country

but I love both.

And I don't hate foreigners, I only hate rude foreigners, that's different.

-Do you feel like a italian that lives in Japan, or more an italian that has become japanese?

Well, everytime that I hear the sentence, an italian that turned japanese

it always sounds like a offense

for me, I didn't turn japanese,

I would never be japanese!

I was born italian and I also remain italian!

It can be that I turned japanese, yes a lot,

I lived there so many years

so, I am a bit of japanese

I turned out like a tatami

I learned a lot about their culture and way of thinking,

at the end if your friends are from another nation,

it's normal that you've been influenced by them,

so, I feel more like an italian that lives in Japan,

but not japanese.

-When you return back to Italy, where there is a italian environment, do you feel different?

-do you think that they look at you in a strange way, because you do "strange/different" things?

The first times that I returned, yes, they saw me a bit different,

but in reality I was never normal, when I was little, I always said that I'll be a singer!

or I will be a truck driver, or I will go into space!

let's say that I had a really original way

so, at the beginning people thought that I've changed

it was more their point of view

but now, since I come back really often,

people know that I didn't changed, and I will never change!

because all of my friends...well I lost some during the years, because they didn't accept

the fact that I changed...but it's their thought

but I'm not different, I behave the same with my friends

so, in my opinion NO.

-When you're in Japan and you see things that you don't like,

-what is your reaction when you see it, knowing that you can't change it?

All around the world there are things that bother me,

but it's the reality, the world is like this and what can I do?

I use a bit of Shoganai (japanese way of thinking)

maybe years ago I would get upset, but now...

you only throw away time, you remain upset for hours,

so if it's like that, you can't change it...there is no point of getting upset.

-Pizza or Soba?

Well Soba is healthier and since I'm doing fitness, I prefer Soba.

I can't eat Pizza that often, but it's ok...I can live without it.

-Did you use your italian spirit, to make your way in Japan?

No, I didn't use my italian spirit, but

I must say that most japanese people don't see me as italian

I'm not behaving like most italians

they don't see me as one, since I have other characteristics than most italians

I don't behave like a typical italian,

so, I must say that they don't think I'm italian

no, I didn't use it, maybe the fact that I'm a foreigner, sometimes

but not as italian...

-If you would have a child with a japanese girl,

Ah you know?

Please cut this part!

-and you decide to raise he/she in Japan,

-would you raise the child as italian, japanese or half-half, how?

If I would decide with her, or him (since nowadays, we need to be political correct)

I would for sure send the child in a japanese school

because it's easier if you start a career in a japanese school

because, how can you enter in a good college in Japan if you come from a english / foreigner school?

so, for sure I will send my child in a japanese school, like a friend of mine

maybe a international Kindergarden, so that the child will learn some english

I would try to speak with the child in italian as much as possible,

I will see his/her preferences, I will transmit italian culture as much as I can,

but with any obligations.

-When you watch YouTube and you see other youtubers that are more successful, do you envy them?

-Or are you happy with what you've achieved?

Maybe I'm lucky in a certain way, that I wasn't born as a youtuber

sorry for the break

(battery died and I couldn't shoot the ending part)

"So I'm going to say bye now, because I don't know if I can afterwards"

I remember you that you can find Seba's music on most digital stores

he also has Instagram, if you're interested

Conan Visits Conan Town In Japan - Duration: 4:23.

Okay, a little bit of a problem.

We went to the wrong airport.

And now we're all jumping in five different cabs

and rushing to Conan Town.

Be there soon.

Very nice to meet you.

It's an honor.

Honor.

Hi, how are you?

This is the Bill Nye of Japan.

Very good.

During the Bush to the Clinton.

Oh, Bush to Clinton.

Yes.

You know, in America, we eventually let go of the hand.

Eventually.

You can let go at any,

it's your call.

You have.

He has a vice-like grip, and he won't...

I'm the mayor?

Yes.

I have a sash for you.

You are now Miss Iowa.

Because I am mayor for the day,

I would like to make him Conan for the day.

It's a good fit.

Excuse me?

Yes, I want to cash this check.

Tell him it's for three trillion yen.

Yes, so I would like to cash this.

No, no.

No.

No.

I'll get you all.

I'll be back.

In a triumph of international cooperation,

the burgers came from Australia.

Courtesy of the Aussie Beef Guys.

That's all I can do in Japanese.

I traveled 6,000 miles to be here.

The mayor only traveled 25 meters.

We gather here today to agree that I am the real,

original Conan.

You have been worshiping a false god.

But I forgive you.

The mayor's hand is on my bottom.

(audience laughing)

And he's not moving it.

Conan & Jordan Share A Kaiseki Meal - Duration: 7:13.

This is pretty cool.

We are at an restaurant called Jisaku,

and we are about to enjoy a ceremonial meal

called a kaiseki

Yeah. Isn't that what I said?

Yes, it is, I reinforced what you said.

Okay, you look lovely. Thank you.

The high priest of meaningless conversation.

Arigato.

I understand that you just learned

the word arigato,

but it is not applicable for every situation.

It is to say thank you--

I was thanking her for coming into the room.

Right. So.

What's wrong with that? Well, contextually--

Thank you is never wrong.

(speaks Japanese), Iowa.

Iowa is a state that is not relevant here.

Ohayou is what I wanted to say.

Uh-huh.

What's ohayou?

That would be hello in the morning.

I said Iowa 'cause I thought that was me saying hello.

Right. And that was not me

trying to be funny. You made a mistake.

You were incorrect.

Well, I do applaud the effort.

She is moments away from drowning herself

in the koi pond rather than hear one second more

of this babble, ooh.

What is that?

Just sit.

You work for me.

You don't have to constantly speak.

This from you, the man who turns the slightest answer

to a question into a Russian novel.

Sorry for my friend.

Yeah, right.

International language.

What are you doin'?

You're a pervert.

That's the same face you make

when you're smelling a lady's shoe.

Let's just remember that every aspect of Japanese culture

is influenced in some part by the Shinto beliefs

that the gods, the Kami, are everywhere.

They are in every object, and they flow through us.

The Shinto is everywhere, in us, as well.

I think you're full of Shinto.

If you pass me your glass, I will honor you

by filling your sake glass.

Oh, you fill mine? And you can choose--

And then, I can-- Whether you want

to do the same, return the honor for me.

And no.

That is good soup. A probiotic soup like miso

will fortify your intestinal flora,

improve both your digestion,

but also your overall health and immunity.

Really? Yeah.

That's funny 'cause I find you hard to stomach.

Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto.

Now, some of these dishes were--

Yes, you are right to laugh, I am very funny.

Yes, genius. She knows what you want

to see, and she gives it to you.

She is laughing for real. No, she honors you.

She can tell that I'm being funny.

No. She is not humoring me.

There is nothing-- She's laughing

because I am a naturally-- I understand you,

and I don't think you're funny right now.

I doubt that she thinks you're funny.

What is funny about you?

And I'm sure this nice waitress,

while she may not understand what we say,

assumes that I'm the one in power here.

Why do you think she thinks--

Because I understand this culture, and we resonate.

Like a window pane upon hearing a certain frequency

vibrating back and forth, she and I are resonating.

You think you're resonating with her.

Yes. I'm the one

that makes her laugh every time.

You are the fly banging against the window.

I'm the one she likes. She likes you

because you're a jester. I'm the one

she will eventually marry.

Oops, that's awkward.

Could you pour me some more? Yes.

I honor you, and you can choose whether you want

to do the same for me. Glass, please.

And no.

My question for you is, Jordan.

Yeah. In addition to Italy,

you've had a long obsession with Japan.

When did that begin for you?

My fascination with Japanese culture began

with the Karate Kid Part II.

Now, that movie was shot and took place in Okinawa,

which is a southern part of Japan.

Mhm. And well, Daniel was staying

in a ryokan, which is a--

Daniel? Oh yeah, Daniel-san.

Played by Ralph Macchio, which is actually the Italian way

pronounced Macchio, but I believe he pronounces it Macchio,

and I'll respect his decision.

So Jordan, let's recap. Yeah.

Your entire fascination with Japan.

Mhm. Stems from the fact

that you saw Karate Kid 2. Yeah.

And that it was filmed in, where?

Okinawa. Okinawa.

I have a message here for you, please press play.

And hold that out to the camera as you watch it.

Hi, Conan, it's me, Ralph Macchio.

Listen, I'm sorry to interrupt.

I just wanted tell that Jordan guy that all the scenes

in Karate Kid Part II that was supposed to be Japan

were actually shot in Hawaii.

Oh, and Jordan, those weren't real dinosaurs

in Jurassic Park.

Sayonara.

It was Hawaii.

Thank you, Ralph Macchio.

You fraud. I understand

that movies are make believe. You fraud.

I think right now you're in shock.

Yes, I am in shock. And you're gonna try

and talk yourself out of it.

No, no, I'm in shock.

Your childhood hero just came out of my phone.

Yeah. And took a shit

into your mouth. I am shocked

that you had our talent booker reach out

to his publicist, you have the connections.

Yeah, I can get to Ralph Macchio.

Yeah, yes, you can. You, sir, are a fool.

I do not know where Ralph Macchio shot the Karate Kid 2.

It's Macchio! Because I'm a fool.

It's Macchio! I am a fool for not knowing

where that movie was shot. It's Macchio!

It's Macchio. Macchio!

And I could get to him if I wanted to.

It's Macchio. Do you understand?

Oh yeah, oh great. I can get to Macchio.

Listen to you, right now,

you sound like an insane stalker.

We have footage of you

with your eyes as wide as an owl saying,

"I could get to Macchio, I can get to him!"

I can get to Macchio, I can get to Macchio.

I can get to Macchio.

S. Korea-Japan ties waver, after Seoul court's ruling over Japan's Mitsubishi - Duration: 2:33.

Bilateral ties between South Korea and Japan is now at crossroads,... after Seoul's Supreme

Court ruled against Japan's Mitsubishi... for the forced labor of South Koreans during

the second World War.

Cha Sang-mi reports.

A diplomatic spat looms over South Korea and Japan, after Seoul's Supreme Court on Thursday

ordered Japan's Mitsubishi Heavy Industries... to compensate South Korean slave laborers

from the Japanese colonial era.

"I went to Japan because I was told I can study there.

But once I arrived, study was nowhere to be found; I was sent to work at a factory right

away."

Some 30 young South Koreans were taken to Japan under false pretenses, only to find

themselves working in a military factory.

Despite the court victory,... some say this is just the beginning of a longer quest for

justice,... as there are thousands of other wartime victims who are still seeking closure.

Professer Joseph Yi says there is a divide in what the Seoul government and the South

Korean public wants.

Many South Koreans still feel that Japan can never be vindicated,... while the government

is looking to improve relations,... given the two country's intricate economic ties.

"Many economic experts including those and the South Korean government are very concerned

about how anti-Japanese sentiment and breaking such treaties with Japan, not just 1965, but

also the recent 2015 comfort women agreement between Korea and Japan that no agreement

that finds with Korea will be accepted in the future because of its anti-Japanese sentiment."

Professor Sachio Nakato says while Japan is generally against the recent ruling against

Mitsubishi,... there is still some room for common understanding.

"In Japan, from right to the left, mainstream media and the mainstream scholars and even

the government think that Korea's response is considered as very much negatively in Japan.

There's no question about that.

At the same time, even though there are small voices (cut) There must be something that

Japan has to think about - it's not an issue about international law, it's more like

an issue of human rights."

Experts agree however,... that both goverments cannot continue to butt heads over their fraght

history,... and that a compromise needs be sought out... regarding a wide range of diplomatic

issues, including the victims seeking redress.

S. Korea-Japan ties waver, after Seoul court's ruling over Japan's Mitsubishi - Duration: 2:35.

Seoul and Tokyo's ties appear to be at a crossroads.

The latest event to further sour bilateral relations: the nation's Supreme Court ruling

against Mitsubishi... for the forced labor of South Koreans during World War Two.

Cha Sang-mi provides an in-depth analysis of the situation.

"Many economic experts including those and the South Korean government are very concerned

history.

"The most rational thing is to seek compromise,... but it'll be hard for the two sides to find

one if they continue to harp their own opinions.

There have been ups and downs over the last 70 years, but they both need to be logical

if they're going to make progress."
