Good morning everyone!

My name is Roman Sudarikov

And I haven't introduced myself yet at my channel

but I will do it properly later.

At the moment actually we are in Kyoto and going to Mount Koya

so we have to hurry to the train.

So we have to leave that to the later time, when I have more time

to explain a bit about this channel and everything

but anyway this is going to be some kind of…

I still haven't decided actually what kind of style it will be,

but it probably will related to the travel, photography and based here in Kyoto, Japan,

but probably not only, but a bit of travel from everywhere also.

Okay, my hands are getting tired already of this camera.

This is too heavy for me actually.

I am using quite big one.

Okay,

So just once again about today's plan a bit.

We are going to Kyoto Station.

From there we are taking train to Osaka..., Wakayama Prefecture.

I am going to visit Mount Koya.

I am for the first time there and...

yeah, I'm expecting some nature and a lot of temples.

This is what I have read about that.

We just arrived at the Kyoto Station.

The first plan for today is to get some food

because we still haven't eaten any breakfast.

So…. We need to look for a place.

So, we are now at Osaka and we have to change the train to other one.

Which one?

So we arrived to the Koyasan and we are waiting for the bus.

We took few trains and then there was a cable car

and at the end we had also to take some bus to get here.

We bought a one-day tickets to be able to jump buses

and not have to walk a lot

because the place is probably big and

I don't know exactly how big is this place.

Anyway, and...

the thing about the buses,

it seems that they are only one every half hour,

so when you leave the cable car

you have to be quite fast to get on the bus

or you will have to wait for half hour.

And it was kind of hard for me with all the camera gear

so I am glad that I am not alone on this trip.

We are still at the Okunoin Temple.

There is a lot of graves around, and big trees.

Here is a small place where you can put different prayers for different purposes and...

I got actually one for my ancestors.

Here is a name written on it

and I am going to put it to the…

It looks like a God of Water or something like that maybe

not sure exactly.

I am not an expert on that but...

Anyway, here is my family name on it,

so it should be a prayer for my ancestors.

This is biggest one, most important probably.

And now you just saw the proper example,

because as always I was too fast and forget complete the bows.

Now we are getting closer to the Kukai's Mausoleum.

It seems that I won't be able to take pictures or video there,

because it is prohibited and I have to respect that.

Just few words about this place.

It's kind of very different compared to all the other temples I have seen so far.

Many of them look very similar but this one is kind of very special I feel.

Because it is kind of in side of a forest

and everything seems very old and a lot of moss.

So compared to other ones it is quite different

…in my opinion.

I'm kind of a bit surprised to see.

So I have.

The last time wasn't really perfect.

I have to improve this time.

So it's first left hand,

right hand,

then I drink a bit.

Okay, how was it this time?

So as you just probably saw I just washed the hand.

It's tradition to wash the hands before entering the temples.

So we just washed the hands and we are at the new place.

So, the last temple was quite small

and there wasn't any entrance fee.

Now I am going to visit the last one.

I don't have my camera bag anymore with me

and I am alone because Kan is quite tired.

It seems that it is only me here right now.

The name of the temple is Garan, if I remember correctly.

Place looks very very empty.

It seems really that it's only me here. So...

Okay. I am running out of time.

It's almost six soon.

So I have to go back to the first temple because I still want to take some pictures there.

Let's see if it is something I can accomplish today also.

So we took some pictures now, just one actually,

but we had to try it many times to get the shot,

and now we have to manage to get to the last bus.

We are like a…

When we came to bus it was like twenty minutes until the next bus

and it is going to be the last one

and there is like ten minutes left to wait.

And it started to rain actually quite heavy.

Maybe you cannot,

you probably cannot see that, but it is raining very very hard.

Okay.

Even if it was rainy and was dark already

we got to the cable car and

there is no one except us.

We are quite tired and...

and it was a bit of adventure at the end but…

it was quite fun today?

Hm, yeah, it was quite fun.

And my hand is very tired,

because it was hard for me to carry all this camera gear all the day

and it is like three and half kilos or maybe four.

I have quite big gimbal and the 5D mark IV, so,

with a, actually, quite big mic also.

It seems that we got very lucky again.

It is only two of us and the conductor on the train.

It's already like two stations and no one.

We are back in Kyoto walking the same street as in the morning

and very very tired.

It was like a twenty hours day today

and a lot of walking and taking videos.

I don't know right now how long the video will be,

but if you actually watching it until now

Today I´m going to Odaiba

and you can notice that I sound a little sick

So first I´m going to the drug store to buy some medicine

I hope i found something good for me because I really not feel so good

here in Japan is little bit complicated they turn off the air conditioner in trains

So let´s try to get something which help me with my flu

And Let´s go to Odaiba

We re in Odaiba´s game center

here is Lady Gaga

And this is my friend Yurie chan

We have the tickets access for the game center we choice the Zombies´game

Now we re going to the Zombies´game I'm a little bit scary because these games looks a little bit wild

We´ve just finished the Zombies´game and it was really entertainment game,

It was not scary but was very cool, I liked so much

and right now we are going to Tokyo Disneyland

we already have our pass

so we are ready for Disneyland

I hope we don´t be too late we have to arrive at least at 9:00am and now is 8:00am

and in that way maybe we can get the Flash pass

We are in Disneyland

there is a lot crowd

It´s the Disney Anniversary so for that reason there are a lot people

today is very sunny and is a cute day

we are in the Lilo & Stich´s game

I hope this will be very funny

Now we´re in Jack´s game

and this is the princesses palace

we are going to ride the Tomorrow Land´s roller coaster

this is one of the best games here in Disneyland

we have to wait in the queue 40 minutes so lets wait

The tomorrow Land´s game was very very awesome

I really loved it, it was very cool

and finally I have my picture with Donald and Pluto

they were around a lot people because they are very popular but I got it

This is the Minnie mouse house

This is in inside Minnie Mouse´s house

I´m going to buy a Mickey Mouse´s ice

the queue is very long

and here is our Mickey Mouse´s ice cream, well it´s like a kind of Sandwich Ice

We are waiting for the last attraction of Tokyo Disneyland which is the LIGHTS PARADE

I hope soon start

and the Disneyland´s day finished, the lights parade was very cute

we are going to buy souvenirs and then we back to our hotel

Today´s Halloween in Japan

and we are going to Shinjuku, I´m ready with my Spider Gwen Cosplay

but to be honest I can´t see very well with the mask

I think I will take off my mask

I hope find a lot cosplays

and as many people are wearing costumes, It doesn´t feel strange to wear one

So it feels normal for me

And now we are in Kyoto near the Imperial Palace

I´m coming back to Mexico

I´m very sorry because I couldn´t record everything my camera's memory finished

2 Day Trip to Matsushima and Sendai Directly from Narita Airport | japan-guide.com - Duration: 7:52.

Home to one of the top three scenic views in Japan and also one of the largest cities

in the country, MIyagi prefecture gives visitors an opportunity to experience both the beauty

of nature and taste the bounty of the sea all in the same trip.

Visiting these two places in tandem shows off the best of both coastal town and the

bustling city, and that's exactly what we're going to do today.

My name is Raina Ong, staff writer for japan-guide.com and today I'm on assignment in Matsushima

and Sendai.

I'll take the overnight bus from Narita International Airport to Matsushima, and from

there take the train to Shiogama where I'll have breakfast at the Shiogama Fish Market

and visit Shiogama Shrine.

After that, I'll take a sightseeing cruise from Shiogama back to Matsushima to get a

closer look at the islands in Matsushima Bay.

Once on land, I'll explore Zuiganji Temple, have lunch, and visit Godaido Hall and Fukuura

Island before calling it a day.

The next day, I'll head to Sendai by train and use the sightseeing loop bus to visit

the Zuihouden Mausoleum and Sendai Castle ruins before heading to downtown Sendai shopping

district where I'll sample some of Sendai's local specialties before returning to Sendai

Station.

So follow along as I go on a two day trip to Matsushima and Sendai.

Day 1

I'm now at Matsushima Kaigan Station.

I'm kind of hungry, so I'm going to look for food, but first I'm going to put this

in the locker over there.

I'm here at the Shiogama Fish Market which opens to

the public pretty early.

I'm going inside to have some fresh fish and have some breakfast.

One of the nice things about being at the fish market is being able to put together

your own breakfast.

I bought some seafood from the stalls behind me, and I'm going to create my own seafood bowl.

It's pretty fresh.

I'm now at the Shiogama Shrine, one of the most important shrines of the region and a

pretty popular sightseeing spot.

This place has over 1000 years of history, and some of buildings here were built

around the turn of the 18th century.

Next, we're going to head back to Matsushima from Shiogama via a scenic sightseeing cruise

which is also great way to see the famous pine tree covered islands that dot the bay.

Zuiganji Temple is one the area's most important and famous zen temples.

It was originally established in the 9th century, but the buildings that we can see today was

built in 1609 by the feudal lord Date Masamune.

There are lots of interesting things to see on the temple grounds including the main hall,

a museum, and some caves.

For lunch, I'm at a popular restaurant that serves two of Matsushima's seafood specialties,

anago and oysters.

The anago is served on top of rice and the oysters I ordered both grilled and raw.

Godaido Hall can be said to be the symbol of Matsushima Bay thanks to its prime location.

The small hall is a well-visited attraction and offers a nice view of the bay.

My next stop for today is Fukuura Island which you can see behind me.

It is one of the few islands which is connected to the mainland by bridge, and there are a

bunch of walking trails which you can follow.

Day 2

I'm in Sendai now and from Sendai Station I took the sightseeing Loople bus to my first

stop Zuihoden.

Zuihoden as you can see behind me is the mausoleum of Date Masamune, the first feudal lord of Sendai.

There are lots of other things to see around the spacious grounds including other buildings

and the tombs of Date Masamune's descendants who were also feudal lords of Sendai.

Next we're back on the loople bus and heading to the Sendai Castle ruins which are a great

place to enjoy a panoramic view of the city.

While there isn't a castle left to see, the foundations still remain and you walk

across where the castle once stood.

Sendai's downtown is really the heart of the city.

There's so many shopping streets around here, like the one I'm on now.

And together they form one of the largest shopping arcades in the Tohoku Region.

Zunda is a sweet edamame paste that is a specialty in Sendai.

You can have it in a few different ways but I'm going to have mine with mochi.

Gyutan, or grilled cow's tongue, is one of Sendai's most well known specialties.

This sliced beef dish is typically served with beef soup and a bowl of rice, and Sendai

Station is one of the most convenient places to find a gyutan restaurant.

And that concludes our trip to Matsushima and Sendai.

From here, you could continue your stay in Sendai, take the overnight bus back to Narita

Airport or take the train to explore other parts of Japan.

Residents of a remote village in south-western Japan are coming to terms with a gruesome mass murder after six people, including five members of the same family, were found dead inside a farmhouse.

Police said they later discovered the body of a seventh person who had jumped or fallen from a nearby bridge into a river in Takachiho, Miyazaki prefecture, a mountain village of 12,000 people and a popular tourist destination.

Investigators discovered the body of a woman outside the house and the bodies of five other people, including a young girl, inside, on Monday. Media reports said some of the victims appeared to have been stabbed.

Police named three of them as Mihoko Iihoshi, the 66-year-old wife of the house's owner, 72-year-old farmer Yasuo Iihoshi, their seven-year-old granddaughter Yui and a male acquaintance, 44-year-old Fumiaki Matsuoka.

The bodies of the remaining three victims – two men and a woman – were yet to be publicly identified.

Police went to the house after a relative told them his calls to the family had gone unanswered, according to Kyodo news.

The seventh body, whom police believe could be that of Yasuo Iihoshi's son, was found in a river about three kilometres away. It appeared he had driven to the bridge in the family car.

The area is near Takachiho valley, a popular tourist destination known for its scenic gorge and connections to Japan's indigenous religion Shinto.

The discovery sparked fear among residents, with local officials urging people to exercise caution and collect their children from school, Kyodo said.

Mass killings are a rarity in Japan, which is considered one of the safest countries in the world, thanks in part to its strict gun laws. However, killings carried out with knives occasionally make headlines.

In 2001 a man with a history of mental illness forced his way into a primary school in Osaka and fatally stabbed eight children aged between six and eight. In 2008 seven people were killed when a man slammed a truck into a crowd on a busy shopping street in central Tokyo and then launched a frenzied knife attack. In July 2016 Satoshi Uematsu, who claimed he wanted to make people with disabilities "disappear", killed 19 people and injured 27 others in a knife attack at a care facility in Sagamihara, south of Tokyo.
