Why did South Korea deprive Japan of Takeshima(Dokdo) in 1952 illegally? - Duration: 1:13.
Takeshima is a group of islands in Sea of Japan.
It is also called "Dokdo" or "Tokto" in Korean.
In third party countries, it is called "Liancourt Rocks".
In 1904, the Japanese government staked its claim to Takeshima and started to occupy it.
It was a prior occupation under international law, because no other countries occupied Takeshima as of 1904.
In addition, Korea was not a Japanese colony as of 1904.
Therefore, the Japanese claim to Takeshima was legal and proper.
However, in 1952, the South Korean government staked its claim to Takeshima and started to occupy it.
At the time, the President of South Korea was Syngman Rhee.
South Korean calls Takeshima, "Dokdo" or "Tokto".
The Japanese government could not reclaim Takeshima because the Japanese military had been dissolved by SCAP as of 1952
South Korea caught Japan off guard.
South Korean occupation of Takeshima(or Dokdo) is illegal and improper.
However, the South Korean government does not intend to retrocede Takeshima(or Dokdo) to Japan.

Good morning We slept well in these futons
So cute...I miss my cat
After breakfast, my friend took us to a few places
First, Nakano Fudoson (Zen Temple), near Fukushima City
It was so moving to be surrounded by all of this nature
I think this place would be beautiful in any season
I was really interested in this cave, snaking through the rock
As expected, the temperature suddenly dropped
Although I'm slightly claustrophobic, I find this fun
I really wanted to buy an omikuji (paper strips with your fortune)
I got a beckoning cat charm (maneki neko) My fortune: [Blessing]
The plant is fake, but the frog is not
We arrived at Azuma Sports Park Apparently several events from the Tokyo Olympics will be held here
Apparently many cats are abandoned in this area :(
I was so happy I got to see autumn leaves!
Another abandoned cat... I felt so sad to see it here since it was such a hot day
Various buildings from Fukushima prefecture such as homes have been moved here and restored, dating from the Edo period to the Meiji period

While my friend was busy, we stayed at his home looking at our phones
And then the time for the Iizaka Fighting Festival began to draw near
I find local trains are so cute
Large groups of young people representing six districts of Iizaka gather in front of the station...
...and then they carry six floats all the way to Hachiman Shrine
When they all arrive, the "fight" begins
We also have to walk to Hachiman Shrine
I love strolling around Japan at night
My little friends got these shiny things
The police were here for crowd control since there are so many spectators
The first float arrives Everyone started to feel really excited

Since we were going home by train, we thought it best to leave early to avoid the crowd

Trying Indian Food in Tokyo, Japan! - Duration: 9:05.
Alright boys time for dinner.
It is dinner and we're hungry and we're bringing our appetites.
The area that we're staying in apparently has a lot of Indian food restaurants.

We've been walking by it a lot the past few days.

And we've got Indian food on our minds so that is exactly what we've going to do.
We're going to go to an Indian restaurant order a whole bunch of different dishes and
have an Indian food taste test.

That is my favourite.
It is made with spinach and fresh cheese.

got a bit of cream drizzled all over it.

So you miss out on a lot just getting the naan.

And the spiciness?
The spice is bearable which means it is good.

Like basically you want to push it as much as you can.
Eating spice is like a big night out.
You want to go as hard as you can without overdoing it.
Because if you overdo it it is all for naught.
But this is good.
I think if I went 5 it would maybe be a bit too much.
It has got a nice texture to it.

It is not like it is not burn spice just like a nice kick to it.
That is how I'd describe it.
It is really good and this is like some thick thick naan bread with the cheese.

That was an official feast of feasts.
We are leaving stuffed.
We probably could have of like paced ourselves a little better and brought a little bit home.

We couldn't even finish all of the naan.
Yeah, we couldn't even take care of it.
That cheese naan was deadly good.
Deadly good.
So anyways the price was 4,450 Yen roughly about just over $40 US dollars so you're looking
at $13 US to $14 US dollars per person for that entire meal.
That included chicken.
That included samosas.
Three different curries.
Three different naan breads.
Yeah, that is outstanding value.
You know this is an expensive city Tokyo.
And to get good authentic Indian food for $13 US dollars per person.
Yeah, that is a steal.

I'd like to explain about the comparison you just saw...
It shows some big differences between Japan and America when it comes to quitting your job.
In Japan you can actually pay someone to deliver a Letter of Resignation on your behalf!
Initially I didn't believe there could actually be a service like that...
But it's not easy to quit a job in Japan...
You may want to quit but you can't due to pressure...
or your boss just won't not let you quit...
I have heard these horror stories before....
and as an American they are almost impossible to believe!
"You are trying to quit but they won't let you ????"
I'm not saying all Japanese companies are that way...
But there are societal pressures which make it hard to quit...
In America, on the other hand, it is very easy to quit your job...
Maybe it's even too easy... as Americans change jobs all the time!!
This is just one of many big cultural differences between Japan and America!
