This is the new Sony NW-A55 Walkman - the new high resolution digital audio player in

Sony's popular small form factor A series.

Compared to the A45, the A55 now sports a smooth aluminum finish with curvier edges

that make it easier to hold.

There's been changes under the hood too - compared to the A45, the A55 has a higher

contrast display with noticeably faster UI performance, which makes Sony's already

great user interface that much better to use.

The A55 also features some new sound enhancements including upgraded high res upsampling and

an interesting new Vinyl Processor mode, which I suppose is fun if you like your music to

sound warmer with tubbier bass.

Also inherited from the higher end Walkmans is the new Bluetooth Receiver function, which

allows you to beam music from your phone or computer to the A55.

This is useful if you want to listen to say, Spotify or podcasts but prefer the output

of the Walkman.

Speaking of output, just like the A45 the A55 has lower than average power output, which

means that we do recommend it for pairing with dynamic driver and hybrid earphones,

and easy to drive headphones.

With those the A55 produces a clean and punchy sound with a useable 120 steps of digital

volume control.

The A55 still has a significant degree of background noise, so we can't recommend

it with sensitive multi-balanced armature IEMs like the Campfire Andromeda - for those,

try out the Sony ZX300.

really been integral as we've really reinvent how we interact with our

so let's begin with number 5

at number 5 I have the wet acrylic brush

you can find it under 'artistic'

then go to wet acrylic

and this is the brush

and I like this brush because it gives a nice texture to your paintings

a nice painterly feel

so I like using this brush to add well, that painterly feel!

to my paintings or portraits

let's go to number 4!

at number 4, the fourth place

my favorite brush is the Skin Sparkle brush

it is part of my Skin Brushes set

and I use the Skin Sparkle brush to add that little bit of texture

to my portraits, a little bit of skin texture

so it adds, yeah.. a final touch

of realism to the skin of portraits

the HB Pencil

I really think that this is the best Procreate brush for sketching

what I like to use for sketching

because it really feels like a real HB Pencil

depending on the angle of your Apple pencil

you can make these thick strokes or really thin

just like with a real pencil

so I really like using this Procreate brush for sketching

and I really love using this brush to make eyelashes

is the brush that I sleep with, that I use every day

my most favorite brush, is well, it's named after me

it's the Basic Flo brush

it's the brush I use for all my paintings

it's a pretty simple brush actually

it's round and has some slightly ragged edges

and opacity set to pen pressure

and I love using this brush to

to block in large areas of color

but also sometimes for detailing, blending in colors

this is my go to brush

for just about anything

I can't live without this Procreate brush

so yeah that's my top 5 best Procreate brushes

How to Put a GIF in G-Mail // Digital Distribution - Duration: 1:45.

In this video, we're going to walk through how to embed and hyperlink a GIF within an email.

So unfortunately, most email platforms don't support video

within an email, so a GIF is a great workaround because it reads to the

platform like an image, but it reads to users like a video.

So now let's walk through it.

I've drafted this email down here about our new vlog that I want to

show someone, and I've included a link that takes them to the video.

But a link isn't that sexy! if I got this email I wouldn't be that inclined to click on it.

So let's try a GIF instead.

There's a couple ways to do this. You can either click this "insert photo" button, but an

even easier way is to just find your file, get the GIF, and drag it in.

There we go!

Now you can resize a little bit if you want. I want to make mine a bit smaller.

Perfect. Right now if you click on it, it doesn't lead anywhere.

So we want to hyperlink it to a page on our website that actually contains the video itself.

Up here I have a blog with a video in it.

This is where I want people to be led.

So I'll copy that URL, come back over, highlight the GIF.

Just drag, drop, highlight, and then click this little hyperlink button.

Paste it in, okay you're ready to go!

What's even better is that this GIF has a play button overlaid on top, and the play

button is a really strong call to action so people want to click on that.

Digital Tools and Diabetes Care Among Latinos - Duration: 3:55.

There have definitely been lots of apps that have been promoted out there for health and

one of my skepticisms is that – have these actually been looked at?

Do they make a difference for our patients today when we recommend them?

We have a high population of Latino patients in our community.

And one of the things we found was that many of them use mobile phones.

As a matter of fact, probably much more than they have access to computers in their home.

Project Dulce was a program that we created 21 years ago where we tried to integrate,

and we did integrate, nurse care management together with peer-led education into the

Latino community to try and improve care, and also work side-by-side with primary care

physicians to help them ease the burden of taking care of a chronic illness.

And we thought texting would be the best approach.

We translated our curriculum into 160 messages approximately.

Each message could not have more than 140 to 160 characters as a text.

There were educational, motivational, and reminder messages that came through.

So things like, "Tick-tock, it's time to take your medication."

Very simple, short messages.

And those were sent out 2 to 3 times a day over a six-month time period.

There was a one percent decrease in hemoglobin A1C between the intervention group and the

usual care group.

They liked the simplicity.

They liked the ease.

It was very low cost and they liked the reminders.

They felt like someone was thinking about them and their diabetes and helping them to

manage it.

Digital tools and technology can really take on a very broad range when you think about

it.

Texting is one method that we used.

It can be everything from the EMR [Electronic Medical Record] – and being able to communicate

via the EMR and the portal with a patient directly and securely – to digital retinal

scans.

You can send, wirelessly, glucose measurements to a cloud and then have that feedback – reports

to a care manager or to a physician.

And then being able to manage that patient remotely rather than with a direct visit in

your environment and in your clinic.

This can be good for people that have transportation issues, other difficulties, child care, or

work that interferes with them coming in for medical care.

Some of the difficulties that we've found with patients include things like, ¬is there

a telephone compatible with what you need for that app?

We're finding that every time a change is made in the app, if your phone isn't compatible,

you can't upload it, you can't use it.

Is the app itself simple enough for someone to understand what they need to do?

There's a lot of steps involved in communication with apps and every time you make that step

a little bit more complex, it's a disincentive to that patient to be able to use it easily.

And even the reports – if a physician needs to look at the reports, if it's difficult

for us to bring those reports up and be able to view them, then that's a barrier also.

So, anything that can make those steps easier would be valuable.

For physicians, sometimes it's a little bit difficult to think of.

Don't create that end product that you think is right.

Start with something simple, and then allow it to progress with the needs of the population.

How To Use GIFs on Outlook // Digital Distribution - Duration: 2:00.

Hello, Landon here! In this video we're going to walk through embedding and

hyperlinking a gif in Outlook. But as always, first let's talk about why.

Most email platforms, including Outlook, don't yet support video in email, but video is

a super useful tool to increase click rates in email, so how do we work around

the system? We use GIFs! GIFs read to the little email bots like an image but read

to viewers like a video. GIFs autoplay, which is great, but they're only a few

seconds long, so we do have to hyperlink the GIF to a page on our website

containing the full video. Let me show you how.

So I go into my Outlook and I

already have a draft here of a video I'd like to send to someone.

This is about a video we recently made for Verizon Amphitheatre VIP Club. As you can see

right here, I have a link that will lead to the video itself.

So this is a page on our website that contains the video, but links aren't sexy! They're not fun to

click on; they're not enticing. So what can we do about that? Well I'm gonna copy

and paste this link because I still want to send my viewer there. But what I'm

gonna do is input a GIF. So how you do that is you go up to pictures,

picture from file, and then you find your GIF.

Insert. Awesome! I want to make mine a little smaller.

There we go. Then what we're gonna do is hyperlink. So I'm going to drag and drop

to highlight the GIF, press link, and then I'll paste the address I copied earlier.

Awesome! Now when this GIF is clicked on, it will take you to a page on

our website that contains the full video.
