XP PEN Artist22E Pro Review & Digital Doodle! - Duration: 6:03.

I

Finally decided to get myself a drawing tablet

The one I have here is the artist xB pen

22e Pro I

Looked around online the other options and screen sizes and different brands

they've got a couple of name-brand ones, but they're two to three times the price of this and

I

Didn't think that I should spend that much money on

My first drawing tablet because you know, I'm just starting out. I

Figured it'd be better to just get something that's more budget-friendly and

Something was a larger screen so I had fun with this I spent a few hours

kind of dueling some random things trying to

Figure out how the different brushes and pens and everything work in it. I had no idea what to draw. I

Just picked a random

brush and I started drawing and the one I picked I think it was from it's like a glass dip pen and

when I'm drawing with it, if you get close to other lines, it kind of attaches lines together and

This is one. I really like using I want to do some black-and-white abstract like DubLi type art with it and see

What some of those things are that I can make?

I'm curious to see what type of portraits I can draw with this it would probably be a type of abstract portrait or something, but

I've got a whole bunch of

People that I'm going to be drawing. I've got a whole folder of people and

It's gonna be a lot of work, but it's really fun

I mean I get drawings done so much faster with this then what I do with you know pen on paper

and if I felt like I was working on this drawing for six hours and

It was 45 minutes, and I was pretty much done so

I just went ahead and spent another 15 minutes to make an hour and

this added some final details, but

It was really fun to do and there's there's a lot of different tools in it

There's a lot of you know, there's so much I have to learn

getting started and

It's very different from the feel of what I'm drawing on paper

because you know with paper and you know all the tradition or there's a lot of feedback from when you're drawing in the surface and

the thing I do like about this drawing tablet is that

it does have a little bit of a

Texture to the surface just a little bit

it has

Like a matte finish to the surface. It's a the film protector that's on the screen and

It gives you a little bit of texture so that when you're drawing

it kind of feels a lot like how it would feel if you were drawing on a piece of paper and

it's kind of like if you were to be using a

Hard lead pencil

That's kind of how it feels and I'm still not really sure what this doodle is. It's kind of like a big abstract

Splash of milk or something. I'm not even sure. I was mostly just experimenting

because I wasn't really sure what to draw with it and

so I just kind of kept making swirly lines and splashes like stuff and

Later on the drawing as I was doing it, I

Experimented with some different brushes and I got the airbrush and as I was doing it

I realized that I probably should have used too first and got the background in and then added this

But it's no big deal. At least next time when I'm doing a drawing

I'll know to you know, do the background first kind of like how

We're doing painting with oil or acrylic or watercolor you

always want to paint the background first move from the back and then

From the background and then move towards drawing and painting things that are closer to you

It makes it a lot easier and it won't take so long to try to

work around all the little details that you've already drawn and put there the

Programs that I'm using here is called Krita

It's the best free drawing program. I could find outline. I'll leave a link in the description of this video

so you can find that I

Also leave a link for this drawing tablet that I bought online

I also applied a 10% off coupon to it. I

Think the coupon might still be available. If so, I'll try to leave a link in the description of the video as well

but early had fun doing this and I look forward to doing a lot more as it's digital art drawings and

trying to do some character designs and

Really expanding my artistic abilities and seeing what I can create

but overall I

Really like this and drawing tablet and I'm gonna have a lot of fun with it

thank you all for watching and

Have a good day

so we are on the advent of the fourth Industrial Revolution how do you see

this digital economy impacting your enterprise that's a very good question

subbu and being from a digital background myself I think the options here are

endless to bring digital into the equation and see how Digital can help us

grow better and deliver better. As a first phase in our pilot we have already

spoken about the fertigation unit /automated fertigation unit which actually measures

and controls at a very minute level what is the nutrient that goes to every plant

and to what extent. That is for our pilot and the next phase we want to introduce

IOT based technologies. So basically sensors that will stay in the poly house

and will measure the humidity the temperature and the insect attacks right

and it will keep logging these three values at various points and time and

there is a definite co-relation as well. So when an insect bites a plant the

plant sends out a very minor signal so that sensor can actually tell us that

this particular plant is under attack now obviously we can't have sensors on

every plant so what do we do to make it better is basically correlate the insect

bite with the humidity and the temperature and it has been observed

that in states typically come in at a particular community at a temperature

level so when that condition is reached again the system sends us signal saying

that this condition has been reached so you probably have to spray a certain

organic pesticide & take steps to control this insect. So that is something

that we want to bring in the next in our next phase of the and going forward

there's obviously analytics so we do this at a larger scale we will tend to

have poly houses in different areas of the city of probably different areas of

the state as well so we can collect all these data to see what is the optimum

growing parameters for each single plant so we can decide whether capsicum grows

best in Bangalore or some other city in Karnataka we can see where tomato grows

better which variety of tomato grows better in which poly rose so this is

these are the decisions that digital can help us take from a production point of

view

Learn About Digital Badging with Continuing and Professional Education - Duration: 2:57.

- As individuals work longer in their careers,

as technology and the dimensions around the workplace

changes at a much more rapid pace than in prior years,

we've recognized that individuals will be working longer.

They'll be working in maybe five or six different careers,

not jobs.

And in order to make these transitions,

individuals will need to display that they have

the competencies, the skills,

and the capabilities to succeed.

So what we have adopted here at our

Continuing and Professional Education Unit

at Montclair State University is the concept

of electronic badges.

Electronic badges are a credential.

They have the same level of integrity

that one would expect getting from

a traditional higher education institution.

However, they're not as rigorous as an academic.

They're not meant to be as rigorous.

But they're more practical skills oriented.

What an individual would be able to do with the badge,

and what employers are looking for from individuals

as they look to see what skills an individual

professional might be able to bring to a particular position

is a very descriptive list of capabilities and skills.

The electronic badges that we have

will have listed very clearly the skills and competencies

that an individual will have developed

in our certificate programs,

such that an employer in looking at an individual's resume

will have extra information that shows

what an individual's capable of doing.

Especially if an individual may have received

an undergraduate degree in one particular area,

and now has moved three careers away.

What it also does for an employer is it shows

that an individual is making an investment in themselves,

and as an employer I certainly would be much more prone

to hire an individual who has taken the initiative

to make an investment in themself as somebody

who I think would be willing to come to my organization

and do the same thing for me.

So they really are a great way to,

for the individual to help them to skill up rather quickly,

and for an organization who is looking to hire

individuals a way to see what particular and specific

skills and capabilities an individual has, number one,

and number two, in a less direct way it shows employers

that those individuals who are willing to invest

in their own skills and development of their skills

as an employee is probably gonna have the grit,

the motivation, and the initiative

to work well for them as well.

Digital Marketing Isn't Everything! | Q&A with Shay - Duration: 1:07.

I bet you never thought you'd

hear a digital marketer say that

internet marketing isn't the key

to success.

You have to focus on three

things: customer service,

customer service, and customer

service. From the second that

someone calls your office and

you pick up that phone,

you want to be sure that you're

giving them the best customer

service possible, that you're

treating them with respect and

as intelligent individuals.

Those people want to know that

they're dealing with someone

right off the bat that they want

to be working. Then, throughout

the process of you working with

them, whether you're a product

or service-based business, you

want to be treating that

customer the way they want to be

treated and taking care of their

needs before they even realize

those needs are coming up.

And, number three – the

follow-through and the

follow-up. After the sales are

complete or after the

transaction,

how do you follow up their

customers?

Do you send them a thank you

note?

Do you call and ask them how

their service was?

Do you ask them to review you

online?

You want to be sure you're

asking for that feedback and

then also taking that feedback

and making your business better.

So, it all comes down to

customer service. Because no

matter how many leads you get,

no matter how great your digital

marketing is, if you don't have

a business that's built to

succeed, it's going to be pretty

impossible for you to. On a

scale of one to ten, where do

you put customer service right

now in terms of importance in

your business?

And after choosing that number,

should you re-evaluate how

important customer service is?

Don't forget to like our video,

comment, and share.

Angela Siefer: Digital Inclusion - Duration: 5:27.

hi I'm Angela Seaver I'm told to stand over here I'm in from Columbus Ohio it's

very exciting to see everything that you all are doing I feel like I'm gonna be

the downer right I'm here to tell you things aren't all rosy but that just

makes me unpopular so I got to turn that around so ndia is National Digital

Inclusion alliance we've been around for a little over three years but our job is

to be the unified voice for digital equity in the United States so here's

what digital equity is this is this is the goal this is what we want to get to

and it's really it's what you've all been talking about right you've been

talking about how you want to get to everybody participating in these

fabulous societies where we are all much more efficient and safe than we were

before so we've had to come up with some terms for all of this because the folks

that are doing this work on the ground we all everybody's doing it but we

weren't all calling it the same things so these are the definitions so Digital

Inclusion then is what it is that the activities that get us to the goal right

Digital Inclusion is what get us to digital equity so this is what I'm going

to talk about in my brief five minutes is the home access the digital literacy

that devices the tech support in the applications in the United States 33% of

Americans don't have broadband at home this doesn't mean they don't have they

couldn't have broadband at home it means that they don't have broadband at home

because they're not subscribing to broadband 1/3 of Americans aren't

subscribing to broadband Denver households 24% so you're a little better

the national average but still afraid represent is not a good number right and

if we get into the folks that have a lower income you have even more folks on

a hybrid being at home so why what's the problem I don't have Oaks have broadband

at home it's the biggest barrier that is out

there is cost it's expensive and if we want the smart cities to be involving

everybody we got to make sure first of all they have broadband at home because

if you get something into a coding camp and they take their homework home and

they can't practice right but there are solutions there are lots

of great things going on out there and just as Megan was discussing earlier you

know bringing folks together figuring out what to do the solutions around this

problem tend to be local and they tend not to be anybody that was

in a high level of authority right its neighbors getting together and saying we

have a problem and we need to solve this problem so what they do is they figure

out how to teach each other digital literacy right how do we use the

Internet how do we use it safely and for some

folks it's even how to use a mouse but there this is we got to make sure that

everybody knows how to use it and here's the other challenge is that we have a

continuum of learning right all of this technology is always changing most of us

in here probably learned through our friends the Internet itself but if the

internet scares you or you don't have it you're not gonna learn from the internet

you need to learn from a trusted source those trusted sources tend to be in the

communities they are community based organizations they are libraries

sometimes they're municipalities and the municipalities in this whole fascinating

situation are really there they're the for me and I've been doing this for a

long time they're the new hey we're gonna get into this we're gonna solve it

and that's super exciting we want those miss abilities in so what happens is

there's the infrastructure issue right and so in some communities they just

figure out how to build it themselves in other communities that's not an option

and so it ends up being what are how can we make this as cheap as possible

sometimes it's just library access or McDonald's you've all heard those

stories right folks doing their life their homework at the library or at the

McDonald's or the Starbucks but it's also what's wanting to make sure that

folks can do it at home so there are discount offers but a lot

of those working in the community don't even know the discount offers exists

some of the providers were encouraged by the FCC to have low-cost offers and so

these low-cost offers are there Comcast AT&T

charter quite a few of them had them some of the smaller companies too but

the digital literacy is different right because that is something that never

ends we have to keep teaching folks keep teaching folks because that's just

constantly changing these are a lot of the programs throughout the United

States and it's pretty awesome because they just figured it out but what this

also means is that we don't have to recreate the wheel as we're trying to

figure out how to get folks connected we look at who else already has these

programs set up this is probably one of my favorite photos ever how desperate

would you be to for your internet would you lug your PC to the library and sit

outside because the library is actually closed but you can get the Wi-Fi through

the walls pretty awesome thank you

Digital Marketer Down Under 2018 Day One - Duration: 9:15.

I've just been to the Digital Marketers Down Under Conference for the first day

and on the Gold Coast at the moment and I just thought it might be good idea to

share with you some of the key messages that I learned today I can't wait to

share them with my students and also with the organisations that I work with

on the Sunshine Coast so this is what I found out I went to the first session

with Ryan Deiss who is one of the the CEO the founders of digital marketer

over from America and he said some really interesting things mainly

were talking about things like automation and chatbots

and and that the way that social media and digital marketing is heading but

what I really liked about it is that he wasn't all for making things faceless

or completely automated that people aren't involved so it's been a lot of

news reports and maybe reports saying that artificial intelligence and

automation is going to take over so many different professions but he reassured

all the marketers in the audience that it's it's not going to take over all

about roles so basically with what he was saying is things like chat bots where

people get onto messenger and someone and they start a conversation with a

brand or an organization and they're to actually do a chat bot that instead

really what's going to happen is that there's going to be a point where the

conversation then needs to lead on to a real person because you know essentially

a chat bot is not going to they would have fulfilled all the needs of a customer

but they they're there to sort of get begin the conversation but they might

continue the conversation the other thing that Ryan talked about too was I

have the importance of community and that it's not about building I guess

it's about building brand equity but it's doing it through building a

community and facilitating facilitating a community on your channels and and by

doing that while you you know creating a space where like-minded people can get

together and celebrate your organization or your organization helps them to

fulfill a particular need or or dream or or motivation for them in the end that's

going to work in your organization's favor because they will be evangelists

for you and they will promote you without you having to do anything he was

saying that digital marketer is a very well known brand internationally

and what he was saying is that in the beginning he liked their actual

marketing spend now is much less than what it used to be and it's because he's

managed to build a really strong community around the brand and it's the

community who are actually continuing to promote what his own organization

actually does without him having to spend so much because people are really

you know supportive of what they're doing the other one I went to the other

session I went to was Chandler Bolt and his session was called zero to published

in ninety days and it was actually very inspirational inspirational presentation

because he really broke down how easy it is to write a book um because I'm from

an academic background where a book is normally around 80,000 words it's long

it's detailed it has a lot of referencing I mean looking back at my

PhD thesis there were 350 references in that with them you know 35 pages of

referencing and then mine was kind of on the lean side so for him to stay

basically looking at an area of your expertise and breaking it down and

writing something because he was saying a book is really on Amazon the average

book is between 14,000 and 40,000 words which isn't a lot really like it sounds

like a lot if you're not used to writing at that level but I mean really look

that something like that could be really turned out very quickly particularly if

you know you know that that particular subject area and and it can actually you

can put it on Amazon and actually have an income stream coming in

and we broke it down it seemed very very simple it often not very inspirational

and it's something that I think I'm considering I'm waiting to hear back now

actually on a book proposal on a social media book and so I'm thinking if that

doesn't come off I might just write it anyway and get it out there so that was

that was a really good good talk and finally the last session I saw today

only went to three today I it was about crafting conversation and and using an

email marketing to converse which was very interesting too and went through

the steps of how to use different emails to do that I don't know so some of the

suggestions I'm sure they are effective but they I don't know who I'm aggressive

flat I read oh it was I can see this

techniques in my inbox and I have to say it hasn't actually made me convert

sometimes I swear not for things that I think I want and then I don't follow

through and then I just keep getting these emails and emails and emails and

they actually could have been annoying so I think there was some actually

really glued it was really good advice in there and I could see how it could

work with a lot of people but personally for me you know although he did say so

yeah I'm sorry Richard Lindner said in this session that you know you can

only hear me do it between 3 & 5 inna so that's not too many I would be happy

distinctly 3 I I don't know what I have in mind people with email so I don't

know maybe I'm just don't have the motivation for email marketing but some

really good tips on fun things like how to write really catchy and effective

subject lines which is which is always good I mean the main thing you want when

you send someone an email is for them open it and it's the familiar young with

the subject line that yeah that is get something through that so that was

a lot than that but overall the most three sessions that I got it was really

about you know putting putting the customer first trying to one thing that

I'm by that I said was about making them the hero in their story and remember

that as a marketer you're just their guides so you need to listen and work

out what it is that they need and and then help them to to get that so not

being pushy but but actually trying to solve their problem for them which is a

key turn to marketing and the other thing is conversations are important and

they need to happen so we we should be trying to cultivate conversations not

trying to avoid them so having websites where there isn't any

email or phone number or things like that is sort of suppressing that

conversation just relying on a chat but without trying to get that you know get

it to a point that where a real person steps in and and talks to me is a missed

opportunity so conversations are powerful and it's not you know

conversations that go for the hard sell and try and push people to buy things

it's more like asking them about themselves and what it is that they need

and then again trying to solve that problem and then thirdly like I said

before communities it's community people people want to interact with and

converse with people who have the same interests as them and being able to

actually create a space online or that is a really powerful thing and people

actually really appreciate it when you do it so they're really the three key

things that came out of today simply so I'm here on the Gold Coast going to this

conference and I will both all day tomorrow

I didn't vote all day today because I had to do an interview with an amazing

transmedia storytelling expert this afternoon and so I went out and had a

walk in the sunshine but I'll be there all day tomorrow and I'll share my

findings in as well I might even write a little blog post at the end

that too just to share them too so thank you for watching and Sam yeah I'll zoom

in again tomorrow
