Auto news on Youtube Aug 29 2018

- Hello everyone, my name is Mandi Lynn.

I'm the author of the fantasy novels, Essence and I am Mercy,

soon to be published thriller novel, She's Not Here

and creator of AuthorTube Academy and today

we're gonna be talking all about how you can

get book reviews for your novel.

So book reviews are especially important for indie

authors because they tell other readers whether or not

this book is decent enough because indie authors

don't have huge names and just don't have the support

of a traditional publisher, it's a lot harder

for us to gain readers because a lot of people

believe that self published books or independent

published books just aren't as good as traditionally

published books and that of course, is not true.

We all know that quality is not comprised of the publisher,

it's comprised of the author itself.

So the way indie authors are able to gain trust

with new readers is by having book reviews.

If someone goes to check out a book and it only

has 15 reviews, they might not buy it

but if someone goes to check out a book

and it has over 100 reviews, they'll be like,

okay, I'll check it out even though they're

a self published author, they've got a lot of reviews.

So what is the magic trick to getting book reviews?

The short answer is that you have to ask.

I know, it sounds crazy but if you see someone

posting on social media, they post a picture of your book

saying how much they're enjoying it, all you have

to do is respond and say, thank you, I'm glad

you're enjoying it, when you finish, do you mind

writing a review on Amazon in good reads?

And nine times out of ten, they're like, sure, why not?

And you can also tell them it doesn't have to be

this long book review, it could be just a quick sentence

saying why you enjoyed the book.

Another trick is that at the end of my books,

I say did you enjoy reading it, be sure to support

the author and write a review on good reads in Amazon.

It's just a quick reminder that when someone

gets to the end of the book that if they liked it,

they should go ahead and write a review.

You know, sometimes people forget to write a review

because if you're not an author yourself,

you don't realize how much book reviews help authors.

At book signings, I also have a little business card

that when I sign someone's book, I slip this business

card in and on the business card it says,

support the author, write a review on good reads

in Amazon and again, all I'm doing is asking

for book reviews.

I'm not paying people to review my books,

I'm just simply asking.

I know these people are reading the book

so I'm just saying, hey when you're done,

write a review, it would be great.

You can also reach out to bloggers directly.

So say you are getting your book reviewed on Amazon

in good reads but you want book bloggers

to review your book.

Unfortunately, they're probably not gonna just

naturally review your book, they're gonna want

a free copy of your book and in exchange for a free

copy, they will give a completely

honest review on their blog.

Now it can be a little tricky to find book bloggers

sometimes but once you get into the group

of book bloggers, you'll find that once you find one,

you tend to find all of them.

And be sure that when you're finding book bloggers,

you're finding your ideal reader.

If you have a thriller novel, don't give your novel

to a romance book reviewer because even if they do

decide to review the book, they're not gonna enjoy it,

they're gonna review it and be like this book

was not good, don't read it so you want to make

sure that the person you pick to review

your book will love the book.

That way they will write a good review and promote

you as an author.

So don't be afraid when it comes to book bloggers

to be picky, it's okay to be picky.

And you also just wanna do your research beforehand

so you don't bother book bloggers that aren't relevant

to you because if someone's obviously a romance

blogger and you email them saying,

review my thriller novel.

They're not gonna like that, they're gonna get slightly

insulted and then you've just burned a bridge.

It's also important to connect with a book reviewer

before you ask them to review your book.

So this just means commenting on their blog,

following them on social media, making it show

that you've put effort into your relationship

with this person.

That way, when you sit down and ask,

hey can you review my book, you're not just some

random person whose popped out of nowhere,

you're someone whose been following this person,

this blogger and you're someone whose been

a loyal follower and it would mean a lot to you

as a loyal follower.

This way you're not some random person popping

out of nowhere.

If a book blogger sees that you're someone

whose been loyally following and kinda commenting

on stuff, they'll be a little bit more eager

to review your stuff.

So lastly, there's just no magic formula

to getting reviews for your book,

you just simply have to ask and sometimes

put yourself out there.

If you have any other tips on giving book reviews,

be sure to leave the tips down below in the comments.

How to Build a Low-Cost Self-Service for your Small Business - Duration: 10:26.

Okay so today we're going to talk about how to build your very own self-service

kiosk.

So this applies to you if you've got a cafe, a restaurant, or some sort of a

retail store, where you want to do some sort of self-service. Whether that's to

reduce staff or just to make things more efficiently. And I needed to do this for

one of my businesses so I'm the managing director of a group of companies and one

of my businesses we're having a few difficulties with staff we wanted to

build a self-service to make things a lot more smooth and much better for

the customer so they could actually go through and choose what they wanted.

And you can see a great example of self-service at the moment with

McDonald's. So if you go into any McDonald's restaurant, you'll see these

huge tablets now they're six foot tall you go up and you start typing on them.

So McDonald's are one of the leaders in the industry actually creating this this

software and the hardware that goes with it. And they spent absolutely millions

and millions of dollars and pounds or euros actually developing this and it's

paid off really well for McDonald's. If you look at their share price since

they've implemented this their share prices just skyrocketed which gives you

an insight into what happened there they're actually making a lot more

profit from this technology by you know actually utilizing those staff that were on

the front kiosk taking your order so now put those into the into the into the

restaurant into the into the back to actually work on food processing more or

they're just simply cutting a lot of staff so that you know they're keeping

some of their best staff and some of the staff that aren't as good there may be

moving them on. So that's what McDonald's have done there the market

leader so if you've looked into this yourself you'll probably notice just how

expensive it is to build self-service and I've come up with a really really

extremely cheap way to do it. Because within this company that I've got it's

still startup it's three years in and although it's profitable it's making a

good profit the staff costs are really swallowing a lot of that profit and it's

causes very long queues I mean the queues

through the you know out the door in our shop some days are ridiculous so

self-service; bringing in a couple of kiosks is gonna solve that so let me show you

how I did it. So first thing what I did was I did the typical went on Google and

search lots of companies that build self-service and what I found which was

quite surprising for me in this is 2018 bearing in mind we're not you know 1990s

right now nearly every POS, so that's your point-of-sale service is not

offering self-service 99 percent is still the cashier behind the counter

typing it in. Which is crazy! I mean we need more tech companies to be

developing this now. So with all that said, I went around and I only found six

companies that offer self-service. And the prices range from a 10,000 pound

development through to a quarter of a million pounds which is ridiculous. It

will take too long to get my return on investment back on that. So what I did

was I did a little bit of research and I found out there was a point of sale

called square it's not a UK company it's actually an American company based out

of San Francisco and they have this fantastic software you don't have to pay

fees either on the POS like a lot of these big

companies they charge you three hundred pounds five hundred pounds or even

dollars thousand dollars a year for using their point of sale software

Square which is this here they don't charge you anything you just buy the

software buy the hardware you use the software for free and they make their

money from the actual transactions so this is the great thing about Square

fantastic we've set it up it's working great and now we're actually gonna go

from using in the shop where the cashier types in to using the self-service so

here's what I did and I had to you know go back and forth with Square a lot on

this because no one's done it before. So what we've got right now is in store we

have our cashier with the iPad so we have one of these iPads so this is a

bubble tea milkshake drink company and this is how the cashier so you come

along and you want a drink so let's say you want a milkshake you want a bubble

gum milkshake you click this and you know you select

what you want if you only jelly or anything else in it and then you really

simply just add it so that's it and then the charge. That's how the cashier is

doing it all I've done now is just alter this a little bit so it's more simple

and someone on the front can do it so as a customer you come in and you just

press this button so as an example it will be in the hardware which is here

I'll show you this in a minute we'll get it all set up in the shop and it's so

simple you simply touch your card to the reader and it pays for it and you need

to do a little bit of tweaking so I've actually had to buy an Ethernet board

from Star micronics because some of the printers most the printers with this are

bluetooth so you'll have to do if you've got a Bluetooth printer at the moment

you'll have to actually take the Bluetooth board out and replace it with

this so this is an Ethernet board. You'll then have your printer at the front of

house and they'll be connected by an Ethernet circuit so that's another

matter all in itself you really go look at

Ethernet networks but it's not hard to say that you plug it into your your

Wi-Fi router you run the wire to the printer run it to this other printer and it all

works nicely so let's head out now we pack this up we're gonna head out to the

shop which is about 30 minutes away from from my home and we're gonna get this

set up and show you how it all works all right so let's do that now

okay so we're inside the shop now and we've set up the hardware so they come

out the boxes we have the stand we have the card reader and then this is

the shop iPad. So we already had the iPad just loaded the software on it put

on the self service now the thing to note is you have to build this yourself

it's not too difficult but it does take a little bit of playing around with it

but once it's built its built then so that's set up we've got two of these set

up we've got the Ethernet printer set up and the last thing that we'll need to

do with this is to actually bolt this down so that someone doesn't just pick

it up and run off with it so what we'll do here is we'll cut out a square of the

grass same here to put this down and you actually get a toolkit with it and the

great thing about the toolkit is that you have a cleaning cloth and adhesive

mount or a drill mount so this is the drill mount took it from the other box

and I'm actually going to use this so you'll need it comes with a drill bit so

you'll actually need to drill through your counter and that goes into the

bottom of that and you haven't got the grass underneath that would be

absolutely solid no one will be able to take that and run away with it and also

the iPad, unless you actually know how to get it out no one's gonna be able to

grab that and pull it out either so that is the the hardware side all installed

now the only last thing we need to do which is the bit I said a little bit

tricky is the ethernet so with most printers especially at the back there,

they're going to be bluetooth they'll be connected to a one iPad to a printer and that

will be bluetooth all you need is you need this to connect to this but also to

connect to the printer behind the actual counter because otherwise the person

making the drinks it you know wherever you are restaurant coffee shop etc they

won't know what this and all that and unfortunately you can't

do that from the Bluetooth so it has to be an Ethernet printer so I'm going to

take this now and I'm going to take out the Bluetooth and I'm gonna install the

Ethernet in the back printer there. And the other thing to notice is this white

wire that is the ethernet wire.

That Ethernet wire comes in to a splitter (Switch) there which we'll show you in a

second and then the splitter comes in to this and then to that printer but apart

from that is fairly straightforward to set up. Okay so we just had a couple of

people trial the self service, took a little bit longer than than I expected

for it to be set up I was expecting it to take about ten minutes it's taken

about an hour as with anything a couple of technical snags I'm gonna get on this

now I'm going to order myself a drink so let's go for a green apple let's add

in some blueberry popping bubbles really simple there we go you can see the order

on screen there actually I can customize it more if I want to but I don't want to

you know, I can customize my sugar level how cold I want it, how many ect but

that's good so I'm just going to hit charge here I'm gonna take my phone and

I'm going to just use contactless

okay and then I don't know if you heard but it printed a stub here and then a stub

back there if we want to get that

all right order number three!

that's good! ;) Okay so there you have it that's how you set up a self-service

kiosk without a lot of money you know a few hundred pounds for the equipment and

Ethernet and that's it you're good to go!

Who am I looking at?

*Mumbles*

Who am I looking at you? Yeah

okay ready yeah green apple fruit tea with blueberry bubbles?

Thank you- Where's my stub at?

At this time, on the power control board...

"TC 4049 BP" received from my grandfather

There are 6 circuits of that stuff "NOT circuit"

Now it is operating with electricity from the battery.

And the AC adapter is not connected. It is a state of so-called "0".

Current is flowing from here.

Because it is "NOT", "0" is "1".

With electricity output there...

Since the parts called relays operate, the wires are connected.

Yes. The ground of the disconnected battery discharge side is connected.

Thus, each earth of different potential is not connected at the same timing.

The circuit is controlled by inserting and removing the AC adapter, and short circuit is avoided.

By the semiconductor my grandfather gave me, the PS4U is protected from that flame.

Grandpa... I'm begging you!

Well, safe opening battery discharge

It is input to the source of MOS-FET.

Input to the gate from the AC adapter. However, the AC adapter is not connected.

At this time, free electrons move due to the potential difference between the source and the gate.

As a result, the current flows to the drain side and is input to the decodeco.

In short, it is a battery connection (1) when there is no AC adapter (0).

Then, return.

AC adapter connection

Input voltage to decodeeco No.1 11.5V -> 8.5V

At this time, on the power control board...

Yes. AC adapter is connected.

This time the output side becomes "0".

Since it is "NOT", it is output "0" if input "1".

Relay switch turns off...

The ground on the discharge side of the battery is disconnected.

Flame was avoided.

What about MOS-FET?

The voltage of the AC adapter, 19.5 V is applied to the gate.

The input to decodeco is replaced with a higher voltage AC adapter.

Charge accumulates at the gate of the MOS-FET, and the potential difference between the source and the gate is reversed.

Free electrons can not move from drain to source and current stops.

The positive side of the battery was also completely disconnected.

At this time, the PS4U operates with only the power of the AC adapter as shown.

By the way, this is about a diode that prevents reverse current...

It has a lot of fever as it carries a lot of power to run the PS4.

Well, the discharge by the battery is completely stopped.

The system can concentrate on charging only by connecting the AC adapter.

Adjusting charging voltage... Previously at this time, the rise of the voltage did not stop, as a result MOS-FET flames up...

Charging voltage normal 14.1V -> 15.3V This time it is stable with proper charging voltage.

Then, what happens when the AC adapter is removed in this situation?

Transmission from BAT48 is now in a stopped state.

If I unplug the AC adapter in the situation where both plus and minus are disconnected ...

What will happen?

--- that moment ---

River stopped flowing

Birds stopped singing

Forest ceased to breathe

It's like a momentary incident

Running at BAT48

Such directing as I saw somewhere. I just wanted to do it.

Huh? You do not understand the meaning?

··I'm sorry. In short, power failure does not occur because it is stored in electrolytic capacitor. That's the story.

"Control Part2 Clear!!"

I plug and unplug the AC adapter like this. At that time, electronic parts will do their best...

I think it is very dramatic.

Well, the ambient temperature of the power control board exceeded 35℃(95℉).

The fan turns when the reverse current prevention diode explained in the video exceeds 60℃.

Let's quit PS4.

The power supply of the monitor and keyboard is also linked with PS4.

12V is still alive...

Yes. it down.

Like this, somehow 12V control and power backup circuit is complete.

"Afterwards you can make this cardboard with a plastic board."

At this time I was thinking lightly that way.

Suddenly, this is my PC. It is a mouse computer G-tune.

It is a very big because it is a gaming notebook but it is a tough guy who can also make videos.

PS4U's goal is exactly what it is. It is full size laptop type.

It is difficult to make it stylish like this, but my goal is high!

Well, rough parts were made, so about the packaging of the case....

I will search for optimal solutions that efficiently arrange each part.

PS4 main unit...

Here is the optical drive.

The direction of inserting and taking out the disk is like this.

The fixed disk drive (HDD/SSD) is here.

The desorption will come from here.

If it fits in a big case, it is arranged like this...

Optical drive...

fixed disk drive...

Large deployment surgery seems not necessary.

I decided on packaging like this with early stage, few remodeling burden.

USB is here...

This is also convenient for sucking to cool the APU.

So, I am procuring parts.

It is an acrylic board used for case. I finally bought 7 sheets.

Black acrylic board 400x550x1.5mm (7 sheets)

I bought a professional size of resin kit which is convenient for adhesion and molding of acrylic board.

Resin kit(professional size)

((make this close))

Then, this acrylic board...

This is the bottom plate.

Cut out 4 sides and bond. This will be a side.

I will bond it with the bottom plate.

The bottom side of the main body has been made.

The fitting of parts is like this.

BAT48 is taking place...

Even so...

hot...

It's still hot in July.

Room temperature is 34.7℃(94.4℉). A production room without air conditioning.

Plastic dust clinging to sweaty skin is unbearable at all.

Ahh. It is impossible...

In such a time, I am spend it in a cool room.

It is a reality escape while making a video. Production is not going well ....

However, I can not but run away from the heat.

I will resume production after I cool my head.

Well, as mentioned in the Part 1 video, the PS4U is an integrated type and a laptop PC type.

Since it is an integrated type, I want to attach the controller to the main body.

Furthermore, when the main body and the controller are united, like the track pad of the notebook PC...

I want to grab an analog stick and do web browsing etc.

However, DualShock 4 has a multi-curved shape.

In this way the storage space is also big and making the desorption device is also troublesome.

Humm...

In that case it is even better if you change the shape on the controller side.

First of all, a tall analog stick

It replaced with that of a portable machine.

The thickness decreases considerably.

Anyway, with the aim of "minimum thickness" ....

Button and touchpad part.

LR part etc ... They are actual alignment.

We will finish it in "box type" easy to mount on the main body.

Cut and fit. Pasting together. This time is also a primitive production method too.

I will make a rail part to unite with the main body.

Light bar.

Vibration motor.

Headset terminal.

Without limiting functions, aim is to be highly compatible with DualShock4.

The controller is almost completed!

Next part is the dock part with the main body side.

This is the docking rail.

USB is connected when docking.

The base of main unit side.

Docking test.

Charging and Communication is done.

It's OK!

This base...

It will be installed in the recess of this body.

At last the thickness and size of the storage part are determined.

In other words, we could not proceed with the production of the main unit unless the controller was completed.

A difficult place to actual alignment.

However, this controller production is the know-how itself of my actual alignment work.

I made a considerable shortening, so I'd like to make one of these videos.

Since the finish molding and painting are performed simultaneously with the main body, the controller is temporarily finished.

I will create the controller base around the main unit side.

Since the PS4U is large in size, the acrylic board to be cut is very large.

Will it really come to completion this project?

"Bearish" to visit many times.

What is integral PS4? Even now, I can do remote play.

What should I do if everyone is disappointed that "Is this the result of letting me wait so much?"

Is this meaning?

meaning...?

I want to improve my own work. It should have been that much from the beginning.

It is only remodeling a commercially available game machine. Why am I getting in the way?

If I want to talk about "meaning", make a game machine comparable to PS4 or SWITCH.

(Ah... That's impossible.)

I do not remember whether there was such a self asking question, but...

The periphery of the base was completed.

The keyboard is mounted on the middle of the main unit.

I chose this keyboard like a gaming notebook PC.

Is it a custom to have such a keyboard shine colorfully?

Hum... It is terrible sense.

I don't like LED gimmicks of a home-built computer.

So... I modified the wiring of the keyboard...

Although it was always orange at the time of start up ...

I changed it to blue.

Furthermore, these two keys to change LED color and setting etc ...

It will be removed by surgery.

With this you will not be able to change the color and setting of the LED, so it will always be blue.

Speaking of PS4, "Blue". So this process is obvious.

And one more thing.

This Windows key...

This also does not suit PS4.

However, it seems that there is a case to use it in some games (the degree of truth is unknown)

I replaced it with the "FN" key I removed earlier.

"FN" is function。

If it is "function key" it is not incongruous in any situation.(Personal opinion).

On the other hand, the two keys removed are ...

It blocked with an acrylic plate that was subjected to hairline processing similar to the panel.

Finally, it will be properly shaped by molding and painting.

Oh, there was a part that was not yet dyed blue.

This is a chip LED on the board. There are three.

LED smaller than rice grain. I will replace it from orange to blue.

The keyboard stained blue.

Let's make case making to mount the keyboard.

Here is the part to hold the keyboard.

It is a resin fastener for clothing!

Because PS 4 basically has no screw hole on the surface.

Well. I really want to imitate!

For that reason, we have tried and tried many parts fixing methods.

8 months from the start of production.

Finally the silhouette of the main body side has come into sight.

...btw

Thick!lol

The top of the keyboard is screwed.

I will make a decorative panel to hide the screws.

I will set a transparent acrylic board in the center and I will place a logo etc in there.

The surface finish is a compound polish.

I gave a gloss and added accent to the case.

Then controller base part.

The shape of the part where the case is above and below is slightly complicated.

Since it is also an eye-catching part, it faces nervousness.

The main body side case is temporarily closed.

Next, I will produce around the monitor.

This monitor is mobile type, power supply is USB type.

Moreover, it is a powerful specification of 15.6" full HD.

It was more expensive than PS 4, but it is indispensable for PS4U production.

So, I will decompose it quickly.

I don't hesitate any more.

It was disassembled.

I make a frame by combining aluminum materials.

I put the monitor on the frame.

The control board is mounted compactly.

By the way this is a speaker.

First of all we will make a hinge part.

It is a part that supports a heavy monitor, so use aluminum material here as well.

It combines with the torque hinge...

It is firmly fixed to the case.

Cover of hinge part.

It also adheres to the main body.

I also make a lid.

Aluminum rod protruding from the cover side.

The monitor is fixed to that rod.

Note: Mini super Famicom is not included in the package.

Test whether it is accurate.

It's OK.

I make a part of the back panel of the monitor.

The shape is complicated because there are many parts to be hinged or loaded with PlayStationCamera.

First from the hinge part.

The movable part is like this.

It is united with a frame.

Since the left and right sides of the hinge was made, you can see the dimensions of both sides.

Next time I will make left shoulder and right shoulder.

This is a left shoulder.

Even such a thing takes several days to produce. It is a moment in this video ...

eh··? Do not you want to hear whine? ...OK!

This is not conspicuous, but it is squeezing slightly towards the outside.

It is a visual effect that seems to be small even a little.

PS4U is doing this kind of evil at some places.

If you are interested please try looking.

Well, both shoulders are bonded to the main body...

On the left shoulder equip a brake to suppress the rotation of the hinge.

Strong torque is necessary to hold a heavy monitor at the fulcrum.

Of course, the case side needs rigidity to withstand that torque.

Actually this brake is second generation.

The first generation, which took several days, was unable to withstand the weight of the monitor.

From the planning stage of PS4U it was obvious that it will be difficult for the monitor part.

The monitor part of the problem mountain yet. It will not progress anyway.

It is a continuation of back panel production.

Very big left and right panel. Again, the acrylic board to cut out is huge.

This is the left side. Design with a concave center.

(Back side of panel) I installed an acrylic board for illumination transmission from the back side.

この辺りからLEDを照らすと光がアクリル板の中を通過します。

(Face side of panel) When lighting the LED from here, light passes through the acrylic board.

Since the gimmick of the illumination is completed, it adheres to the center panel.

Adhered with resin while weighing horizontally.

Screw the left and right panels and the monitor screws.

It can see the whole picture of PS4U.

Next is a difficult PlayStationCamera installation.

In essence, it handles PlayStationCamera like PC web camera.

However, PS4U has "deferred mode" to use the monitor closed.

The angle adjustment function must be realized in the limited space of the monitor.

Well, the camera is disassembled.

Because it was tightly closed by the fastener, it was hard to disassemble.

There is also the nature of the product called a camera, it seems to be a design with less production tolerance.

According to rumors it is a USB compatible standard.

But the connectors are incompatible.

The camera is in the center of the upper part of the monitor.

I will make a mechanism to enable angle adjustment.

Cutting both ends and further process.

Wiring should be taken from the side.

It goes through another mounter...

It is set on the monitor panel.

Although it is manual, the angle adjustment mechanism has been realized.

And, the tool has come down here ...

It was retired when I finished making the gimmick of the monitor that seemed to be the most difficult.

It is not included in the cost estimate, but the extent of consumption of the tool is also extraordinary PS4U.

Without the response of PS2U and FamiPoke, I definitely would not make PS4U.

Hinge part, camera mounted, installation of illumination...

By completing the implementation of the difficult part, completion has become realistic.

Completion has becom realistic. It seems a strange expression at first sight but...

There is anxiety that in the heart always "completion is impossible".

Then, it is production of the speaker part.

The speakers are located at both ends of the camera.

Therefore, by making it the same cylindrical shape as the camera, the design is given continuity.

Like this.

Speakers transplant the objects of the monitor.

I also made a bezel. The speaker part is temporarily over.

Next I will make a panel on the monitor side.

The panel of the monitor hollow out a large acrylic plate according to the screen size...

...I will not do such a thing.

(Cutting by human) Why? Cutting by human power is low precision.

(Cutting by machine) No matter how much we will grind on the horizontal plane, machine cutting accuracy does not come out.

Joint between cut surfaces by human power

Even after polishing or polishing, chase follows.

Meanwhile, machining is rather ...

Obvious.

There are no gaps anymore.

So, in my MOD production, before using a new acrylic board...

First of all, around the four sides, machined parts ...

Cutting out and keep it.

And it is used for parts where precision is necessary, such as joints between cases.

Although the talk derailed, then, do you use machined surfaces...?

...That is also different. A little more troublesome.

After hollowing out with human...

Bring a monitor panel...

Cutting it leaving the middle side.

Place it in the frame of the acrylic board.

The gap between the frames is filled with resin or putty.

Why doing such a thing?

The reason is also because I want to receive the benefits of machining.

Such processing is impossible with a drill or sandpaper.

Well, this is the middle frame.

Inlay in the forehead of acrylic board...

Temporary welding from the back side while keeping the panel level horizontal.

Next time fill the gap with resin from the front side.

Grinding the resin by polishing.

It worked. If there is no tool there is no other way than to move your hand.

The speaker bezel adheres to this forehead side.

I also finish the mating surfaces of the front side and the back side of the monitor.

It is a panel of OSD switches. Hinge cover is also included.

Hummm... The frame is thin! The space is small!!

Because the backlight of OSD switch also has to be prepared.

Produce accessories steadily · · · Ah ... Illumination also has to be made.

Do you understand that it is lighting?

Now, it is a temporary set of the monitor.

The cables from the hinges are cramped. I should have made a little bigger.

Well good. Anyway, it is a test.

I called him again for testing.

Alright! It shows up! ! OSD backlight OK too!

It was hard, so I am glad.

The outline of the screen frame is also good as I want.

Yes, I got stronger.

Yes, Your daughter.

I can not quit when I start Mini Super Famicom.

The next MOD is Mini Super Famicom...? Anyway, I want to make it a bit easier...

Well, I played until I was satisfied...

Let me also walk to the next step...

There are still small items left. I will finish fine electrical work and parts.

The road is long, but I will do my best.

Disassemble battery fuel gauge.

It is a specification that you can check the remaining battery power by pressing this button...

It is remodeling so that it lights up even during PS4U operation and charging.

Integrate with charge and discharge management board. Fan controller circuit etc. are also implemented.

Test the battery by connecting. It is OK.

It is the case and the light emitting part of the fuel gauge.

It is contained in the left shoulder.

Checking even if the monitor is closed or opened here.

Let's also implement three PS4 antennas.

I installed it as close as possible to the outside of the case.

I want to make desorption of HDD/SSD more convenient because it is troublesome.

I made it easy to pull out from the front side of the main body.

When stored it is like this.

The handle under the finger on the underside of the bezel.

Next is around optical disk and USB.

I made a bezel with transparent acrylic board.

Drilling of disk slots and USB.

Bordering of black acrylic board.

Ultimately finish by pasting a label seal from the back side.

Fan for APU.

I will make a guide to suck cold outside air.

Because it is an invisible part, we will join together the ends of the acrylic board and make it.

I must make it so that it does not breathe hot air.

Two mouths due to the structure of the case.

I also make the outer grill.

Yes, this time the other side. I will also make an air inlet here.

Air that cools the power control board and charge and discharge control board sucks from here.

This is also forced air intake by the fan.

5V Sirocco fan Part 1

I will create a guide to incorporate fresh air just like the APU side.

It is installed on the upper side of the chassis of the main unit.

Air flow.

Whether the heat can be exhausted well is the final performance demonstration.

Creating an interface for input and output. I bought LAN and HDMI cable.

Various cables

Changed one side of wired LAN cable to female type.

Four interfaces line up.

External power input, HDMI OUT, USB3.0, LAN

I made a hairline style panel.

Fitting with the case.

I make an exhaust port.

5V Sirocco fan Part 2

The installation location is just above the interface. Exhaust air of the main body is exhausted via a duct.

I make the exhaust grill.

Like this.

I make the kill switches.

Rocker switches.

I will make my own knob part of the switch. It becomes a considerably large switch.

After all this is an electronic work of an amateur.

As soon as PS4U fails, it must be possible to shut down the power supply.

One is a switch for external power supply. The other is a switch for charging.

The rocker switch of the elementary design is a bit unbearable...

Of course, noticeable things are important, but the ease of access is also important.

Fitting the knob into the rail and make it switch by sliding it.

Slide down to cut off each power supply.

I placed it on the left side of the case, immediately in the reach.

I will produce headphone jack.

It is a headphone jack of the main body speaker and switching.

This also produced a bezel with a transparent acrylic board.

Do not forget, the rubber feet of the case.

Did I cut out from GeChic's monitor cover?

The production period is too long to remember.

Putting the rubber after painting.

Where the label is put down, it will look better if drop it.

Ah. by the way...

It is not appropriate that 12 V input to PS 4 is this terminal.

I will make something like an outlet socket.

I will insert it.

The feeling of a solid insertion. It can not escape with a little power.

I will make an emblem of PS4U.

Aluminum rings (car supplies)

Combined with acrylic plate...

Processing it...

Like this...

The LED glows.

I will prepare a base for the emblem on the back panel of the monitor.

Just sticking it will be a paper tiger. It is nice to dig a little.

Fixture for electrolytic capacitor.

Place it on the optical drive.

A hole near the wireless antenna.

There are three places in total.

Well, there are parts that shortened the story, but the basic components have been completed.

It is finally a temporary assembly test.

All right...

I have tested it many times.

As usual it is uneasy and uneasy with no fun tentative set.

I remember that tragedy.

Such a concern of me.

Does he know that?

PS4U started without any problems.

He began updating in the living room...

So... Wi-Fi does not reach the production room of PS4U.

So, the system has not been updated for more than a year.

It looks like a fish given water.

That's the body full of "patch"...

As if to regain the lost days...

With own energy...

Strongly from!

Wife: Oh! It is amazing. Done?

Me: Yes, Amazing?

Wife: Wow. Looks like that.

Me: What?

Wife :It looks like a word processor...

Me: Word p...

Me: ...

Me: ...Yeah! haha...

Wife: ahaha

Me: hahaha

Wife: ahahahaha

hahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

I tried to play the movie of Blu-ray.

There was no problem in operation.

I was glad that it worked, and I watched the movie twice after this.

And the next stage is the final stage. Mold painting, assembly, demonstration!

How To Improve Self Confidence At Work - Duration: 11:58.

Your level of confidence will affect your income. How to improve

self-confidence at work? So, how to improve self-confidence at work is

something that my friend Dan Hartman knows a few things about. Dan is a Live

on Purpose licensed coach. And this is actually one of your areas isn't it Dan?

Yes. I like to talk about, you know, what you can do to build your career and

build your confidence. So, today we're going to talk about 4 ways to improve

your self-confidence at work. Oh, beautiful. Bring it. Alright, start us off.

Where do we go? So, the first one is know your unique value. Understanding who you

are and the unique value of who you are. It's really important. You may work in a

job where there's a lot of you to do the same job. In fact, I went to the D-M-V this

last week to register my car. And I walked in there and there's about 20

people with numbers above their door. Numbers above, you know, their head. That's

(right) number 435, you know, and you think, well, how do you stand out

if you have a job like that? I just kept thinking, "I hope whoever I'd gets going to be

really nice. And they were. They were great to work with. So, understanding what

makes you, "You." No one else that does your job has your same abilities. You're very

unique in that standpoint. So, you really need to understand that and be that

person. What are some other thoughts? Your

unique value... I love where you're going with this, Dan. Because every one of us

has a skill set, talents, abilities. And all of those things are different. So, we

might have some things that are similar. But there's always something about me

that's not quite like anybody else on this planet. So, what we're talking about

here improving your confidence at work has to do with understanding "What is my

unique contribution here?" What can I do differently or in my signature way

compared to everyone else. So, this gets us out of the self judgment where, "Oh, I'm

not as good as other people." Well, you're different from other people. A different

can be good. That's good news. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. So, that's number 1. So, number 2, we're

going to talk about is to always seek to improve

even in small little ways. Nothing builds confidence better than finding small

little ways to improve. Now, sometimes we had we set these great big goals at the

start of the year or things, you know, we want to do in our work stuff like that.

But setting small goals and reaching those is so important. But in fact, I have

a story about that as well. Not really in the setting goals but understanding

where you are to begin with. I think it's important in our jobs and in

relationships to get a clear picture of where are we? Where do we stand? Sometimes

talking to maybe a co-worker or a boss. And find out hey where do I stand? What

can I seek to improve on? And the reason for this... I have an interesting story

when I first had my first job out of college. Paul, I'm a recovering

perfectionist. You know this. Yeah. And I've always tried to do

everything perfectly when i could. And my first job out of college, I thought, you know, I

thought I was doing okay. But I thought I could do better and I just never felt

like I was doing enough. You know, when is that going to stop being true though? I

agree? That you could do better. So, I love that. You can always do better, yes. That's

why this step is so important. It is. You're going to create that better. But it's

interesting because I didn't have a realistic view of where it was. One day

my manager came over to my desk said, "Dan, I need to talk to the conference room."

And then he walked away and I thought, "I knew it. I'm getting fired."

This is it. It's you drops here. And I walked in there and he said, "Dan, you're doing a

great job, we want to give you a $5,000 raise." And that made me realize

that I did not have the proper perspective on where I was. So, it's

always good to get a starting point. So, talking to a co-worker or a manager. Get

understanding where you want to be. You also don't want to be thinking you're

the best and you can't improve. Because "Oh, you're better than anyone else." So,

there's always room for improvement. We can always upgrade our skills. But

setting small attainable goals, then once we achieve those, we celebrate those.

That's going to build our confidence. We're going to feel more confident on those things

that we can do. This is actually one of the indicators, Dan that we're on track

with identifying our unique abilities. And you talked about that a little bit

in the first point. But this is an indicator, too. Because those who are

really operating in their sweet spot, just part of what I like it I'll call it.

There's 4 characteristics. And the first is that you love it. Yeah. You

love what you do then you know you're on track, right? It

adds energy to your life, (Definitely) you've got better, sweeter

skills at this than most people. Yep. And the 4th one is exactly what you're

talking about. You seek constant improvement. You're

always looking for ways to upgrade it. Mm-hmm. And this is a dilemma and we get

stuck here sometimes because when we see that we can improve something, it's

tempting to take that go into evaluation mode and say, "Oh, therefore I'm not doing

a very good job." Which is what I thought at that time. Right. Because of your

perfectionism. Exactly. And as a recovering perfectionist, you know that

yeah, you can always do better and that's

good news. Right, and you can always do worse ,too. So, judge yourself

very kindly. Yeah. Shall we say that? Yeah. Use compassion when you judge yourself.

And then use that creative energy to then move forward and find the upgrade.

What can I do to improve or enhance or upgrade this thing and you'll always

find something. Absolutely. In fact, that's a great segue to our third point. And

that is to be sure to speak your mind in your job. We're always looking at our

jobs through a lens of judgment and wondering, you know, I wish the company

could do this better, wish my manager could do that better. And as long as

we're willing to put in the work to make our jobs better, it's important that we

do speak our minds. Importantly, we let management know things that maybe could

help sales productivity or efficiencies in the office. Or ways that you can have

better, you know, work together and things like that. So, it's very important to

speak your mind. If you don't say anything, if you just keep your head down,

do your job but grumble about them and be frustrated, you're never going to have that

opportunity for change. We need to be the catalyst for change. And now there

there's an important part of the this. You don't barge in your, you

know, boss's office and start ranting and raving about things that need to change.

I think it's important that we need to own that change. If we're willing to step

up and do something differently for the company and get the management onboard,

show them that you're willing to do that. You're willing to pioneer that. And then

that's going to be a great thing. Were not only going to gain more confidence but

they're going to see more value in you. That is really the

key, too. So, you want to use the diplomacy and tact and maybe some assertive skills

that you've built up. And you're going to own it.

Yes. People sometimes they're seen as complainers or Belly acres because they

constantly air their feelings without any kind of a solution or ownership. So,

I'm glad you add at that point, Dan. That's huge and it builds your

confidence at work. Because you see that you're actually innovating some

solutions. Those have an economic value to the company. Absolutely. And then you get

to have that surprise interview where you thought you were going to get fired

instead you get a $5,000 raise. Or maybe more. Or more!. Always, always get an upgrade. so

So, Paul, our fourth way you can improve confidence at work. And this is

one of the most important and really... When I grasped this, this is what

changed for me in my career. And that's to understand that you are your own

brand. The company doesn't own you. You need to understand that everything you

do, you take with you. In fact, my father gave me this advice. He was very

successful in a 40-year sales career and as I was starting out my sales career, he

said, "The only job security you ever have is who you are." And I've been caught in

the trap early on in my career when things weren't going well. And I wanted

to kind of give up or I felt like, "Oh, man the company is not doing their part. Maybe

I don't want to do my part." But when it was... What I realized that what I do in

my job stays with me. The skills I learned, the attributes I

gained. That stays with me. In fact, I spent 10 years in the IT sector in

sales. And I got laid off 3 times. And each of those 3 times, I was

fortunate enough to then land a job that was better than the one I had before.

With more pay and and just a better job overall. But a tribute a lot of that to

the fact that I saw myself as my own brand. In fact, you know, one of my good

friends, he told me that he always sees himself as a contractor. He works for a

company, he gets a normal paycheck but he sees himself as a contractor. So, we want

to look at ourselves as were contractors

contracting our services. As long as it's mutually beneficial that it works for me

and it worked for the company, that's great. But we always want to look at it.

How can we build our skills and abilities and not worry about what the

company is he's doing . In fact, this morning, actually

had layoffs of my work. 5 people lost their job this morning and you know and I had

to be there. And it was unfortunate. And it just made me realize

that in this day and age, you never know. You can't depend on the company. So, we

don't want to build our confidence at work just for that job. Or just for that

manager. We want to do it for ourselves. We're building our own brand, we're

making our selves better, so that transfers with us to whatever we do. And

you can take that sweet skillset that you have to the next setting which is

the company. Yeah. We're building confidence in ourselves. Yes. So, it's a

little misleading to think, How do I build my confidence in in my work if you

think that your work is your company? Yes. Your company is the setting where you're

bringing all of these skill sets and your brand. Your personal brand. I love

the way that you framed that, Dan. That was awesome. So, just to review the 4

things we talked about here. The first one, understand your unique value and

make that part of your job. Bring your personalities, your traits to

the job and make it asset. And building on that is number 2, where you actually

seek to improve or enhance those skills once you connect with your unique value.

You're actually improving it. You are and as you seek to improve, you're going to

see things in the organization that you work for or ways that you want to do

better. And that's why you need to speak your mind, that's number 3.

Do that in a right way. Go to a co-worker first. Maybe and run that by them before

going to management. But understanding that if you can stand up and be willing

to be the catalyst for change, you're going to be viewed as a really positive

person in the organization. And that brand follows you wherever you are. So,

it's not about your company. Nope. It's about you as a... I like the way you put

this earlier. --- A private contractor. Absolutely. Right? Where you bring your

brand, your unique skill set to the table and start thinking of yourself as that

contractor or that person who has an individual brand. And then it's not tied

to the success of the company. And there's interesting thing about that. An

interesting paradigm. The more confident you are and who you are as an

independent brand, the less fear you have about getting laid off or losing it off.

That may happen but you know that you can go find another job because you

focused on you not on the company. If the focus is on the company, you lose your

job, it's more devastating. So, it's building that brand of who you are that

goes with you. Nobody can take that away. Another strategic side effect of that. As

your confidence increases, you don't fear the layoffs (You don't) but you're also

less likely to be affected by it. Because you're one of the top performers.

Exactly. It's interesting. So, those are 4 ways to

improve self confidence at work. I am constantly feeling honored that you're

here. You're here on the channel. If you're new, please click Subscribe right

down there below. And I'll see you tomorrow.
