Papers, papers, FUCKING PAPERS!

I don't care where you fucking live, because it's the same shit everywhere.

There's just varying degrees of bureaucratic retardation.

You need an official approval to do anything now except TAKING A SHIT.

You get born, a shit-ton of paperwork.

Go to school, a shit-ton of paperwork.

Get a job, a shit-ton of paperwork.

And when you die, you leave behind a FUCK-LOAD of paperwork.

And since people are still breeding like fucking rabbits, it's only gonna get worse.

The world has become this giant bureaucratic machine that churns out approved paperwork

slower than a snail on dialysis.

And that's no surprise, considering that state employees are the least productive beings

on the planet.

But let's face it: if you put any human inside a 1x1 cubicle and bury him with a mountain

of paperwork, they're not gonna do jack shit, especially if their entire week consists

of 2 hours of actual work and 10 hours of daydreaming about how to murder your five

different bosses.

These aren't humans anymore, they've become "something else".

They don't feel or think, they just are.

And I'm pretty sure if you poked one of them with a stick they'd simply fall down.

It's the information age and we still need fucking papers to get anything done despite

the fact that they keep telling us it's all turning digital, and ironically, that

is gonna be even worse.

Sure, there's gonna be less shit to carry around to get approved, but on the other hand,

if it's all gonna be stored digitally, that just means that it takes one big fuck-up and

it's all gone.

And besides, who the fuck wants their shit stored on a fucking drive so that these bureaucratic

cunts can send it around overseas and flood you with even more advertising bullshit?

Yes, that's what this world needs - MORE ADS.

But the worst is still to come: digital currency.

And I'm not talking about decentralized cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.

No, no, no.

No, I'm talking about a global, centralized, unified currency.

No more physical cash, just a number on a screen.

What are you gonna pay your illegal workforce?

What are you gonna give to buskers?

What are you gonna use to buy drugs?

What are you gonna give to that paraplegic vet in front of your store?

But I guess that's the point isn't it?

Get rid of the homeless and the poor by simply starving them out.

And when I discussed this with some people they went: "But, what's wrong with that?

Wouldn't it be easier to have one currency?" Are you fucking nuts!?

One currency across the entire planet?

That's like the European Union on a global scale.

That shit is already falling apart and you wanna spread that shit to every person on

the planet?

That's like a catalyst for World War 3.

What do you think Fatboy Kim is gonna think about a global currency?

I think he'll be fucking ecstatic.

This whole world unification bullshit needs to STOP.

We already have to deal with this globalist machine that's destroying world cultures

faster than a rapist on angel dust.

Fuck all these banking cunts who are trying to push this world currency bullshit through

and fuck you China for being the poster-child of this global enslavement agenda.

Fuck Trump, fuck cultural assimilation, and well, fuck everybody.

Digital Media Performance Design in Theatre - Alison Dobbins - Duration: 1:59.

The field I'm in is almost like being in the initial days when film was being invented,

when you just tested it on an audience.

Did it work?

If they liked it and got the story, then yes, it did.

That's one of the best things about being right here in digital theatre—we're there again.

My name is Alison Dobbins, I'm an Associate Professor of Integrated Media Performance Design.

Long title for an awesome job.

I came to MSU for the opportunity to combine arts with technology.

I really wanted to do the art and the creative side of it, not just the technical side.

And when this job was offered in the Theatre Department which was combining media and theatre,

I jumped at the chance.

Putting film on stage is not necessarily new.

But now you have a whole upsurge of filmic stories.

How do we show that on stage?

How do you show multiple pieces of information, or these short quick scenes that are somewhat

filmic?

Well, if you put film on stage, that's one way.

I find that if you create a classroom that's interdisciplinary you create a place for those

conversations to happen.

I have a couple students from Music, a couple students from Art, some students from Com Arts [The College of Communication Arts and Sciences],

some students from Theatre.

Then when I put them in groups, it's about translating from one discipline to another

talking about the story from a totally different angle, and saying "Oh, well, I didn't even

think about it like this."

A lot of our students are facing jobs that never existed before, so when you're talking

interdisciplinary, and you're talking that soft skill of being able to translate things,

you're talking those core humanist and artistic values, I think that's one of the keys that

I've noticed from both students who've worked on shows and in my classes, what they've taken away.

I've always been a collaborator.

I happen to be a teacher, but I'm a collaborator first.

And just that feeling of that possibility of collaboration is fantastic.
