Maria Borrallo has one of the most prestigious child care jobs in the country right now - helping to bring up the future king

She was hired by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge when Prince George was just a few months old and now also looks after Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis

She trained at the famous Norland College, the country's top training centre for childcare, and has a lot of experience

Author Louise Heren spent a year at the college researching a documentary, so knows exactly what the students are taught

Speaking to Mirror Online, she's revealed some of the techniques and tricks the nannies use to ensure kids behave - and it's likely Maria is using them on the royal children

She believes that despite the extraordinary lives they have ahead of them, life at home will be fairly normal

Louise, author of Nanny in a Book , said: "Given what we have seen of Catherine when she is out in public, she's very hands on

"I imagine her relationship with Maria is very close and they collaborate greatly on the care of the children

"I've spoken to nannies who have worked with other royal families and life is pretty normal

"You get up, have breakfast, you go to school and you wear your school uniform whether you like it or not

"It would be quite like the average British school children."  Here are some of the Norland Nannies tips and tricks: Always involve children in planning  Once the child is old enough, Norland Nannies believe it's important to let them help plan the day

Give them options to pick from (so you don't end up having to say "no, we can't go to Disneyland today") such as going to the park, baking a cake or reading

Louise says: "It means that the nanny has got some control but the child has chosen what to do and is happy that they got the choice

"   Explain exactly what is going to happen when heading out  Maria's job is unique in that the children she is raising are far from normal and she has to prepare them for royal events and tours

Louise said: "Her job is to keep them happy, safe and well but equally they need to be presentable and well behaved when they are on parade

"  Before royal events she believes Maria and Kate will speak to the children to tell them exactly what is going to happen, who they are going to see and what people are going to do - for example everyone will be waving and they should wave back

Meal times  Norland Nannies believe routine is essential for children, especially for big parts of the day

Louise said: "Children understand routine but they like to be informed of that routine

"Even if lunchtime is half an hour later, the clues that lead up to it stay the same

"Ten minutes to go, wash your hands, can you help me lay the table?"    The nannies also use meal times as a key learning opportunity

Setting the table involves the child counting out the right amount of cutlery for each person and the right number of plates and cups

They can also practice their colours when picking out different items.  The nannies also try to give children choices when it comes to their dinner

For example, which two vegetables would you like today?  This allows them a choice and also means you have a response if they are unhappy about eating it

Louise said: "If they are informed beforehand you don't get a grizzly child." Bedtime  Much like meal times, routine is key

Bath, pajamas and a bedtime story every night help the child know it's time for bed

Louise, who has also written a book on the history of Norland College , said: "It is training resilience in the children that they are happy to be on their own in the dark at night

" Her relationship with the children  Louise said: "[Maria] will be friendly with the children but if they need a little bit of discipline she's more than able to step in and do that

"Their approach is very nurturing and loving. It is entirely centred around the children

"It is about training the children by example rather than just telling them.  It's about saying "why did you do that? Think about how that would have been received"

" Make everything an opportunity to learn  The day is filled with different learning opportunities

Nannies will ask the children to count different things.  Louise believes that Maria will probably ask the children how to say different things in Spanish and French, as they are learning both languages

Tantrums  There isn't a set way Norland Nannies deal with tantrums, as every child is different

But they will always try to spot the tantrum before it unfolds.  Louise says that there is normally an early trigger, so the trick the nannies are taught is to spot this earlier

Speaking about the dreaded terrible twos, she said: "The child has the mental ability to want something but they haven't got the language ability to say 'can you get that for me'

"The tantrum can build because you're not observing what they're trying to get or do

Frustration is building." One word that is banned  There is one 'banned' word in the Norland College, which probably means Maria doesn't use it when referring to George, Charlotte and Louis

According to Louis, children are always referred to children and NEVER 'kids'.

The author of 'Nanny in a Book' revealed remarkably that "life is pretty normal" for the George, 5, Charlotte, 3 and Louis, nine months, despite the spotlight being constantly on them

Charlotte Crosby hosts wild party same night as Vicky Pattison's sob-fest viewing bash - Duration: 6:28.

Charlotte Crosby hosts wild party same night as Vicky Pattison's sob-fest viewing bash

The ex-Geordie Shore co-stars threw wildly different parties as their shows aired at the same time last night.

Charlotte Crosby and Vicky Pattison haven't seen eye-to-eye for a very long time - but their differences couldn't be starker if their respective viewing parties are anything to go by.

Last night saw the launch of not only Charlotte's second series of The Charlotte Show on MTV, but also the debut of Vicky's one-off special Vicky Pattison: The Break Up on TLC, which documented not the wedding day she'd hoped for, but the aftermath of her heartbreaking split from John Noble.

And both channels had decided to air both shows in the same 10pm slot, meaning Geordie Shore viewers had an agonising decision to make about which way to cast their loyalty.

Charlotte announced her second series with a wild party, inviting celebrities, journalists and cameras into her own Newcastle home to watch the show on her enormous TV.

Vicky, meanwhile, was sat at a friend's house with a burger and got steadily drunker as she watched herself sob on screen with her mum.

Charlotte was joined by boyfriend Joshua Richie, DJ Tom Zanetti, Cally Jane Beech and her old co-stars Holly Hagan, James Tindale, Abbie Holborn and Sophie Kasaei as she threw open the doors to her self-confessed party house.

Other stars who showed up were Love Island's Kendall Rae Knight, Kady McDermott, Georgia Steel and Ellie Brown, along with Bobby Norris and Shelby Tribble from TOWIE.

She'd gone all-out to make her multimillion-pound mansion party-ready, splashing out on real flower walls and enormous light box letters in her garden that spelled out The Charlotte Show.

Charlotte also had 600 balloons scattered throughout and a DJ box, where an electric saxaphonist entertained the hordes after the show ended.

A horse box converted into a bar was stationed outside, serving up gin and tonics and beers to the thirsty crowd, while platters groaning with cheese, cold meet and crudites were placed nearby.

After the party, Charlotte doled out goodie bags sponsored by In The Style and packed by her mum to all the revellers, before ordering them onto a coach to take them to the afterparty at Dirtiz in Newcastle town centre.

Sounding slurry as she cuddled up to Josh on the coach, Charlotte told her Instagram followers: "I cannot actually believe the carnage, I know it was going to be a big party but wow.

"I have only just been reunited with my boyfriend, who I haven't seen all night. While Charlotte was partying her butt off up North, Vicky had a much more demure viewing party down in London.

The heartbroken star celebrated her reality special by heading to pal James Rudland's house with her other mate, the DJ Gavin Foord.

Sharing a snap of herself getting ready for the tiny party with a McDonald's delivery, Vicky wrote: "I think I'm ready. Gin, Big Macs with bacon, comfies and some of the best people I have ever met in my life.

if this isn't the best way to watch tv I don't know what is?!!". In the run-up to 10pm, Vicky downed gin after gin to psyche herself up.

"Hungry for McDonald's and attention. Two gins down, I'm super nervous," she wrote on Instagram. "Argh! This is happening. It's just hit me that this is going to be hard as f**k to watch. Good thing I'm pissed.".

Vicky managed to get through the first part of her show with a massive box of tissues in front of her.

"We're playing a drinking game where I have to take a drink every time I cry on screen. I'm f**king mortal! God I hate what that man did." she said.

"I love my mam, she's so f**king wise. The first part of the breakup was hard to watch, so I'm sorry if it was difficult for you. But trust me, it's going to get better - I'm not crying now.".

Later, a well-refreshed Vicky revealed she was "so pissed" as she clambered in the back of a taxi with Gavin to sing ballads. Once close friends, Vicky and Charlotte no longer speak after a drawn-out feud.

Vicky revealed last year that they grew apart and don't "move in the same circles anymore". She added: "I've moved all around since leaving Geordie Shore and settled essentially in London for the majority of it.

I wish them all well and although I don't see them, I do know what they are up to and I think they're all doing great.".

Charlotte Church and Jonny Powell treat themselves to cake in rare public outing - News Live - Duration: 2:51.

Charlotte Church has gone off-radar of late, keeping to herself after her wild party animal years.

But she was spotted on a rare public outing with husband Jonny Powell this week, after jacking in her singing career to focus on her new retreats business.

The 32-year-old was spied stopping off at a service station for a quick break for treats, bundled up against the freezing temperatures in a padded jacket.

Charlotte and her musician husband looked relaxed as they made their way into the Newport Services complex and emerged with takeaway coffees, cake and sandwiches to fuel their motorway journey.

The fresh-faced mum of two kept covered up in jeans and a plaid shirt tied around her waist, while Jonny wore jeans, a pink open-collar shirt and a snazzy patterned jacket.

The pair married in a secret intimate ceremony in September 2017, throwing a big boozy bash for their friends and family at home shortly afterwards.

Charlotte's two children - Ruby and Dexter, the product of her relationship with ex Gavin Henson - joined the happy couple to celebrate after their simple exchange of vows under a tree.

The Voice Of An Angel singer looked beautiful in an off-the-shoulder white lace wedding dress, which was teamed with a crown of gypsophila on top of her wavy balayage locks.

It came just three months after tragedy struck the couple when they sadly lost their unborn baby to a miscarriage.

She confirmed the heartbreaking news on Twitter , telling followers: "Charlotte and Jonny are very sad to announce that they lost their baby.

"Now is a time for grieving and being together as a family. We kindly ask everyone to respect that peace."

Charlotte and Jonny have been together since 2010, striking up their relationship after Charlotte split from bad-boy rugby ace Gavin.

A source told Mail Online at the time of their wedding: "Charlotte and Jonathan have been in love for a long time and a wedding was always on the cards.

"Jonathan has been a great influence on Charlotte, she has calmed down a lot since she met him."

And Jonny has been supporting Charlotte with her new business, now she's taken a step back from music.

She recently launched Awen Retreats in West Wales, a beautiful luxurious venue that can be hired out for all sorts of events.

The venue particularly welcomes groups of women who need "a chance to breathe and stand still" and reveal their "inner woman".

Charlotte NC Real Estate Market 2019 | Call Nancy at 704-997-3794 - Duration: 4:43.

Eugene Robinson: If you're thinking about buying or selling a home this year, it's important to know

Eugene Robinson: what Charlotte real estate market will look like in 2019.

Colleen Odegaard: Here with more is Nancy Braun. Nancy's the owner of Showcase Realty.

Colleen Odegaard: Nancy, great to see you. Thanks for coming today.

Nancy Braun: Good morning.

Colleen Odegaard: Okay first off. Let's start with this.

Colleen Odegaard: How did Charlotte do in the real estate market last year?

Nancy Braun: It was a strong market. We saw a shortage of the inventory which means we had greater amount of buyers than there was homes to sell to them.

Nancy Braun: And, we still saw some multiple offer situations and prices kept on going up.

Nancy Braun: So we do see an appreciation which also can affect affordability.

Nancy Braun: So, it ended strong but we actually had less homes on the market at the end of the year than we did in the previous year.

Eugene Robinson: So, what is the expectations for 2019, Nancy?

Nancy Braun: So, we anticipate a continuation of shortage, and we also expect some affordability issues

Nancy Braun: coming up because interest rates will probably rise, maybe 1 or 2 more times.

Nancy Braun: And they've already risen since last year, so we're now hovering on just under 4 ½%.

Nancy Braun: We anticipate possibly going as high as 5% on a conventional.

Colleen Odegaard: Okay, so with that being said, what does that mean for buyers, sellers and investors?

Nancy Braun: Right, so as prices keep going up but wages stay flat, and interest rates go up, now,

Nancy Braun: what buyer can qualify for is going to change - obviously it's gonna go down.

Nancy Braun: So, if interest rates keep rising and inventories still out there,

Nancy Braun: we might not see a continuation of home selling for a lot more than they had been.

Nancy Braun: If you look back to 2014, some homes in Charlotte have doubled.

Nancy Braun: You know, we've seen such enormous price gains, and, how much more are people really

Nancy Braun: making today than they were in 2014? It's actually not matching up.

Eugene Robinson: Well how would this impact first time buyers?

Nancy Braun: It impacts them the most, cause they're usually just qualifying barely for certain amount.

Nancy Braun: So they may have to reduce their qualification - how much they can afford to buy.

Nancy Braun: Maybe instead of a hundred and eighty thousand, they can get a loan for a hundred and fifty thousand.

Nancy Braun: Well we all know, it's barely anything out there in the Charlotte inner city area for a hundred and fifty.

Nancy Braun: So that means they might have to go out further into the suburbs, which is what we've seen.

Colleen Odegaard: So what is Showcase Realty, your company, doing to help these first time home buyers?

Nancy Braun: So, our first time home buyers, we have really great preferred lenders that we work with,

Nancy Braun: and they know all the different programs that are out there, including forgivable down payment assistance programs.

Nancy Braun: So you can have someone who has great credit, graduated from college, but not a lot of money saved;

Nancy Braun: you know, they just came out of college.

Nancy Braun: So we can find them a program that can give them the downpayment assistance,

Nancy Braun: and then we can ask in the offer for the seller to pay closing costs.

Nancy Braun: So in certain situations, they can come into this with $500 and buy house.

Colleen Odegaard: That's great.

Eugene Robinson: So what mistakes should buyers and sellers avoid this year?

Nancy Braun: Well, overestimating your value. There are a lot of sellers, when they keep on hearing that

Nancy Braun: prices are going up, prices are going up, they're gonna think their house is worth a lot more than it is.

Nancy Braun: And if you overprice, overshoot the market, you're inevitably going to have to drop your price over time,

Nancy Braun: and end up selling your house for a lot less than had you sold it in the very beginning.

Nancy Braun: Cause the first two weeks of your marketing, that's when you really wanna get your offers.

Nancy Braun: So if you're not getting showings, or you're not getting offers, it's down to price.

Colleen Odegaard: You have to price it right. Yes, cause the biggest question on everybody's minds:

Colleen Odegaard: are we heading for a real estate bubble again?

Nancy Braun: Well, I don't know. I'm not an economist, but, there's such strength in Charlotte's market,

Nancy Braun: we see cranes all over the city, in the suburbs.

Nancy Braun: Everything's growing, growing, growing, lots of companies are moving here.

Nancy Braun: I don't anticipate a bubble, but maybe a softening of this, increase in prices.

Nancy Braun: And, we certainly aren't seeing multiple offers in the level that we used to see.

Nancy Braun: Those investor hedge fund groups that were coming in right after 2014 and just, taking half the market up,

Nancy Braun: they are really in play right now. They're kinda holding still until prices drop again.

Nancy Braun: So we're not competing with the huge amount of hedge funds that have unlimited cash.

Nancy Braun: So it's more of a traditional market, I would suppose.

Colleen Odegaard: Nancy, great information. Thank you so much.

Colleen Odegaard: To learn more, Nancy has a free report called "What's Ahead for Real Estate in 2019?"

Colleen Odegaard: Visit Carolina Property Report for your copy, CarolinaPropertyReport.com is the website to go to.

Colleen Odegaard: You can also call Nancy directly. It's 704-488-3109.

Colleen Odegaard: Again 704-488-3109. Nancy Braun, thank you.

Nancy Braun: Thank you.

Rare insight into Prince George, Charlotte, and Louis's life revealed - Duration: 2:38.

A royal insider has revealed what really goes on in the day to day lives of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, Express
