Royal news : Rare insight into Prince George, Charlotte, and Louis's life with royal nanny REVEALED - Duration: 3:26.

Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William hired Maria Borrallo as their children's nanny shortly after their first child George and third-in-line to the throne was born in 2013

Louise Heren spent a year researching the prestigious role handed to Ms Borallo to nurture the most famous children in the world

The author of 'Nanny in a Book' revealed remarkably that "life is pretty normal" for the George, 5, Charlotte, 3 and Louis, nine months, despite the spotlight being constantly on them

Ms Heren told the Mirror Online that Ms Borrallo, who trained at the elite Norland College in Bath, would have a "very nurturing and loving" approach but if needed there would be "a little bit of discipline"

She also added Kate, 37, remained "hands on" with her children and has a "very close" relationship with Ms Borallo

Ms Heren added: "Given what we have seen of Catherine when she is out in public, she's very hands on

"I imagine her relationship with Maria is very close and they collaborate greatly on the care of the children

"I've spoken to nannies who have worked with other royal families and life is pretty normal

" The royal author cited a strong routine as key to keeping George and Charlotte in line

She added: "You get up, have breakfast, you go to school and you wear your school uniform whether you like it or not

"It would be quite like the average British school children." She also revealed the royal youngsters will spend lots of time outdoors with their royal nanny, including bike-rides and gardening

She added: "There will be lots and lots of outdoor play, that's the one thing you could say Norland are old-fashioned about

Loads of fresh air. "Lots of bike rides, playing with their dogs, potentially some gardening

Norland are very into teaching children through play.  "Yes you are getting mucky with your hands in the soil but you are learning how to plant

" However, she also pointed out the most demanding part of the job for Ms Borrallo would be preparing the children for royal events and celebrations

Ms Heren added: "Her job is to keep them happy, safe and well but equally they need to be presentable and well behaved when they are on parade

" Norland College has trained more than 10,000 nannies since it was founded in 1892

Royal news : Princess Charlotte school: Why is Princess Charlotte going to the same school as Georg - Duration: 3:34.

Princess Charlotte, three, has attended Willcocks Nursery School in Kensington since last January when she was two

The morning school, where fees will cost £3,150 per term from Autumn 2018, can accommodate children up until the age of five years

But the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have decided to send their daughter to Thomas's Battersea in southwest London from September, according to reports

Charlotte, who turns four in May, will join big brother George, six, an attendee at the prestigious school for the last two years But what is the reason why? William and Kate want Charlotte to follow in her sibling's footsteps for security purposes and to make the school run easier, according to the Mail on Sunday

Thomas's Battersea is a "busy, thriving, purposeful school" with a "rich and broad curriculum" including ballet lessons

Other extracurricular activities include gardening, philosophy and fencing. Several choirs and orchestras also exist with the school saying the "non-auditioned" roles are "greatly encouraged" by the music department

Kate and William are already said to favour less "traditional" schools and may considering snubbing Eton as a future choice for Prince George

The future king could end up attending Marlborough College, where the Duchess attended, according to a friend speaking to the Daily Mail

The friend said: "William and Catherine surprised many with their choice of Thomas's Battersea for George over more traditional royal schools, but picked it because they felt it was the right fit for him

"They are very keen to allow George to spread his wings as a child and won't ever do what people expect them to do when it comes to their children

"Eton hasn't been ruled out but they have talked at length about Marlborough as an option and the smart money is on George going there instead

" Marlborough College costs £12,605 a term in comparison with £13,556 a term for Eton

Kate is said to have loved her time there and excelled on the sports field playing hockey and running cross-country

She left Marlborough College in July 2000, going onto St Andrews where she met Prince William

Kate earned a honours degree in art history while Prince William studied geography

He graduated with a 2:1 master of arts. Interestingly, William had originally intended to study art history but switched his major to geography in his second year

Royal news : Prince George to look after little sister at school? Charlotte to join George this yea - Duration: 3:35.

Prince William and Kate's daughter will join George, from September it has been revealed

According to insiders, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have their heart set on the school

The Princess will be four in May and has attended Willcocks Nursery in Kensington since last January

Thomas's Battersea is a "busy, thriving, purposeful school" and their most important rule is to "Be Kind"

Its website says the site offers a "rich and broad curriculum, with Art, Ballet, Drama, ICT, French, Music and PE all taught by specialist teachers from a child's first day in school"

It currently educates 560 boys and girls between the ages of four and 13. The school costs £6,158 per term from Reception to Year 2, but as Princess Charlotte is the second Cambridge child attending Thomas's, it will only cost Kate and William £6,005

From Year 3 to Year 8 the school costs £6,956 for the eldest child and £6,785 for the second child

Pupils are offered after-school activities, including philosophy, gardening, pottery and fencing

The school was chosen for Prince George by the Cambridges because "it was the right fit for him"

Prince George, six, has been at school for two years and many have assumed he will attend Eton for his secondary education like his father

But, his parents are considering sending him to the Duke of Cambridge's former school

The Cambridge's have discussed sending Prince George to £12,605-a-term Marlborough College as opposed to £13,556-a-term Eton

Only 10 percent of pupils from Marlborough College attend Oxford or Cambridge, while a quarter of Eton students attend the prestigious universities

A friend said: "William and Catherine surprised many with their choice of Thomas's Battersea for George over more traditional royal schools, but picked it because they felt it was the right fit for him

"They are very keen to allow George to spread his wings as a child and won't ever do what people expect them to do when it comes to their children

" Marlborough College costs £37,815 per annum. If Prince George attended the school from year 7 to 12, his secondary education would cost a mouthwatering £226,890

Royal news : Prince George and Princess Charlotte nanny: Why is royal nanny BANNED from saying 'kid - Duration: 3:33.

Royal children generally have a nanny to help with their upbringing and Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, three, and Prince Louis, nine months, are no exception

The Cambridge children spend lots of time with their nanny Maria Borrallo while Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge are performing official duties

Ms Borrallo, who lives with the family at Kensington Palace, trained at elite nanny school Norland College in Bath

The prestigious college demands students uphold certain values and principles, which are set out in a specific code

Nannies-in-training are also requested to wear a smart light brown uniform with a white collar, dark brown hat and matching belt

The school's website says this "instills a sense of responsibility and pride" in them

But there is also one word Ms Borrallo is banned from saying when at work because of her training and that is the word "kid"

But what is the reason why? Borland expert Louise Heren explained to Mirror Online: "The word kid is banned

It's a mark of respect for the children as individuals."Young royals can be referred to by their names or by "children" instead

Madrid-born Ms Borrallo will have had this rule drummed into her during her training so is unlikely to have rebelled against it

Ms Heren added the Cambridge children are likely to lead "pretty normal" lives. She told the Mirror: "Given what we have seen of Catherine when she is out in public, she's very hands on

"I imagine her relationship with Maria is very close and they collaborate greatly on the care of the children

"I've spoken to nannies who have worked with other royal families and life is pretty normal

"You get up, have breakfast, you go to school and you wear your school uniform whether you like it or not

"It would be quite like the average British schoolchildren."Despite Prince George being the future heir to the throne, he and his siblings will be told to behave when needed, Ms Heren said

She told The Sun: "There will be no messing. That's because Maria will be aware that as they step off planes, holding mum's hands, smiling and waving to the crowds, there can't be any crying or terrible twos or tantrums

" The expert added: "There will be lots and lots of outdoor play, that's the one thing you could say Norland are old-fashioned about

Loads of fresh air."

Royal news : Prince George and Princess Charlotte's nanny banned from saying THIS word - Duration: 2:55.

Maria Borrallo trained at the prestigious Norland College in Bath. The elite nanny school teaches its students not to use the word "kid", according to Norland expert Louise Heren

Ms Heren said: "The word kid is banned. It's a mark of respect for the children as individuals

" Instead, they should be called children or by their names. And it is likely that Madrid-born Ms Borrallo has stuck to the rule since becoming George, five, Charlotte, three, and little Prince Louis' nanny

Ms Heren added that Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge's three children are likely to live "pretty normal" lives

"It would be quite like the average British schoolchildren." Ms Borrallo is often spotted with George, Charlotte and Louis - who celebrates his first birthday in April - when they are out in public

The royal nanny is usually wearing the distinctive brown Norland uniform when she is on duty

It comes after Ms Heren previously revealed that Kate and William's children would have a "no nonsense" upbringing with their Norland nanny

Speaking to the Sun, she said: "There will be no messing. That's because Maria will be aware that as they step off planes, holding mum's hands, smiling and waving to the crowds, there can't be any crying or terrible twos or tantrums

"It doesn't have to be strict. Just because Norland nannies wear the brown uniform, they look quite old-fashioned, that doesn't mean their message is old-fashioned

It's no nonsense." Norland College has trained more than 10,000 nannies since it was founded in 1892

Royal news : Prince George and Charlotte are JEALOUS: Kate Middleton reveals RARE royal kids insigh - Duration: 3:15.

Kate is visiting the King Henry's Walk Garden in Islington to see how the project brings the community together

And as part of the outing, the duchess made pizzas with children from St Jude and St Paul's CE Primary School using ingredients harvested from the garden

But Kate admitted George, five, and three-year-old Charlotte would be sad they had missed out, saying: "They would love to come and do this with you

"They will be very sad that I've been out and making pizzas with you." The duchess dressed down for the engagement, donning a pair of boots, khaki skinny jeans and a tweed jacket

Kate also met gardeners, viewed the allotment plots and took part in bird box building

The garden has been run for over a decade by volunteers with support from Islington Council

It contains growing plots for locals, with organic gardening methods used to promote a variety of plants and wildlife

And the gardeners run a programme of educational events to engage the community. The garden is thought to have helped reduce problems such as anti-social behaviour and vandalism in the area

It has won a number of awards including London in Bloom's Best Community Garden award in 2008, 2009 and 2011, and the RHS National Certificate of Distinction in 2012

The engagement follows an announcement that Kate - who is known for her love of nature and the outdoors - has co-designed a Chelsea Flower Show garden

Kate is working on the garden on behalf of the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) ahead of the Chelsea Flower Show in May

The duchess's garden is called the "RHS Back to Nature Garden" and it will be a woodland setting for families and communities

The RHS said Kate's garden "has been inspired by childhood memories that are triggered by the natural world, as well as special moments that will be created and treasured by families now and in the future"

A Kensington Palace spokeswoman said: "The garden seeks to recapture for adults the sense of wonder and magic that they enjoyed as children, in addition to kindling excitement and a passion for nature in future generations

"Wild planting and natural materials will be used to recreate a woodland wilderness where children and adults alike can feel closer to the great outdoors

"

Royal news : Princess Charlotte and Prince George: When do royal children go BACK TO SCHOOL? - Duration: 3:34.

The Cambridge family marked Christmas at their country residence, Anmer Hall, down the road from the Queen's Sandringham Estate

Although the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were seen visiting church twice, Prince George, five, and Princess Charlotte, three, stayed at home as they were too young

Prince William and Kate made a surprise second outing to St Mary Magdalene Church on Monday along with the Queen

So, George and Charlotte were likely to still be in Norfolk under the care of their nanny along at this time along with baby Prince Louis

When do royal children go back to school? Charlotte and George are expected to return back to school today

George is a student at Thomas's Battersea, where the Lent 2019 term starts on Tuesday, January 8

And younger sibling Charlotte should be back at Willcocks Nursery School after joining the Kensington establishment a year ago today

At the time, she looked super sweet dressed in a red coat and shoes, snapped by mum Kate on the steps of Kensington Palace

As thousands of other students head back to school and university this week, Clarence House marked the occasion with a throwback picture of Prince Charles at Cambridge

Clarence House tweeted: "Are you #backtoschool or university today? The Prince of Wales is pictured cycling in Cambridge in 1969 while attending @Cambridge_Uni

" The heir to the throne attended Trinity College between 1967 and 1970.What are William and Kate up to this week? Charlotte and George are not the only members of the Cambridge family back to the grind this week

Dad Prince William has an important royal engagement tomorrow with some old friends

The Duke will celebrate London's Air Ambulance's 30th anniversary at a special event held at the Royal London Hospital

William was an air ambulance pilot with the East Anglian Air Ambulance between 2015 and 2017

Ahead of his attendance, Kensington Palace tweeted: "The Duke of Cambridge will visit @LDNairamb on Wednesday 9th January to recognise the work that their first responders carry out delivering life-saving treatment across London

" Unfortunately for the Duchess of Cambridge, William's visit coincides with her birthday meaning she might spend part of it alone

Although Kate, who turns 37 on January 9, is likely to be spending her daytime with Prince Louis as he is only eight months old

Royal news : Prince George and Princess Charlotte must follow their nanny's TOUGH RULES - Duration: 3:48.

George, five, Princess Charlotte, three and royal baby Prince Louis are in the hands of one of the world's best childminders, according to experts

Maria Borallo is now responsible for helping in the upbringing of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's children

Keeping a watchful eye over the Princes and Princess, she uses a set of strict rules to teach them correct decorum and good behaviour as parents Kate and William fulfil their royal duties

The nanny often accompanies the Duke and Duchess as they travel the world, keeping a low profile while supervising the upbringing and well-being of the young royal toddlers

Ms Borallo, of the prestigious Norland Nanny school, has presided over the royal children since George was eight months old in 2014

Norland Nanny expert Louise Heren told the Sun: "There will be no messing. "That's because Maria will be aware that as they step off planes, holding mum's hands, smiling and waving to the crowds, there can't be any crying or terrible twos or tantrums

" One rule she will demand is strictly adhered to is bedtime of 7pm each evening, with no exception

Another rule is to introduce new foods, tastes and flavours each day, to deter the children from becoming fussy eaters

And she also insists all playtime activities must take place outside – no matter the weather

Ms Heren said: "There will be lots and lots of outdoor play, that's the one thing you could say Norland are old-fashioned about

Loads of fresh air. "Yes, you are getting mucky with your hands in the soil but you are learning how to plant

"Lots of bike rides, playing with their dogs, potentially some gardening. "Norland are very into teaching children through play

"If it is tipping down, they will still go out. Wet weather is just inappropriate clothing, you have to put the right stuff on

"It doesn't have to be strict. Just because Norland Nannies wear the brown uniform, they look quite old-fashioned, that doesn't mean their message is old-fashioned

"It's no-nonsense." Spanish-born nanny Ms Borallo has reportedly received training in self-defence and evasive driving techniques in order to help protect the future King and Queen consort

The Norland Nanny school, founded in 1982 by Emily Ward, is a provider of childcare training and education

It is seen as one of the top schools of its kind in the world. Ms Borallo is thought to uphold the Norland code of a "no nonsense" approach to parenting

But the Norland college, based in Bath, teaches their nannies to adhere to strict – and strange – rules that are imposed on their children

Royal news : Prince George and Princess Charlotte: When will royal children appear in public again? - Duration: 3:47.

Prince George, five, and Princess Charlotte, three, always provide plenty of fun and laughter every time they are in the limelight

We saw a great deal of the two oldest Cambridge children last year in a momentous year for the Royal Family

George and Charlotte were pageboy and bridesmaid respectively for not one but two royal weddings

The young pros took a central role at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding in May 2018 before reprising their roles for Princess Eugenie's nuptials in October

They were also seen outside the Lindo Wing on April 23 when arriving to meet brother Prince Louis, followed by his christening in July

When will we see Prince George and Princess Charlotte next? There are not as many royal engagements this year so it is not certain when we will next see George and Charlotte out and about in public

The royal wedding of Lady Gabriella Windsor and Thomas Kingston takes place this spring but it will be a private affair on a smaller scale than last year's events

Some senior royals, including the Queen, are not believed to be attending so this may well include the Cambridge family

A more likely appearance will be at Trooping the Colour on June 8. But there could be a chance of the Cambridge family being seen in public for Prince Louis's first birthday on April 23

There has been no mention of an event yet from Kensington Palace but at the very least we can expect to see an adorable snap of the family

They were pictured in a heartwarming and relaxed picture for their annual Christmas card taken outside in the grounds of Anmer Hall

In the shot, Kate beamed with delight as she clasped Louis in her arms while William cuddled Charlotte and George

Why do people love Prince George and Princess Charlotte so much? Royal children have long been a fascination for the public but George and Charlotte particularly adorable and cute

Charlotte may only be three but has already established herself as a scene-stealer who is not afraid to show off her sassiness

The princess was caught sticking out her tongue to well-wishers while arriving by car for Meghan and Harry's wedding last May

And in a separate hilarious moment while leaving Prince Louis's christening for a post-baptism tea, she told photographers: "You're not coming

" Older brother George is also known for his messing about during royal events, especially when cousin Savannah Phillips is about

The duo enjoyed larking about on Buckingham Palace balcony last June, with Savannah even shushing George by placing her hand over his mouth while he was singing

Royal news : Royal Wedding 2019: Will Princess Charlotte and Prince George be bridesmaid and pagebo - Duration: 3:59.

In what will be the third royal wedding in 12 months, Lady Gabriella Windsor will marry businessman Thomas Kingston this spring

The nuptials follow those of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in May 2018, and Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank in October

Lady Gabriella will follow in their footsteps by holding the ceremony in St George's Chapel in the grounds of Windsor Castle

Lady Gabriella Windsor is the daughter of Prince Michael of Kent, who is Queen Elizabeth II's first cousin

His father - Gabriella's grandfather - was Prince George of Kent, younger brother of the Queen's father King George VI

Lady Gabriella is 51st in line to the throne, and as such is not a working royal. However, she does attend larger family gatherings - including Trooping the Colour

According to her company biography, Ella spent several years in Latin America working on social projects, such teaching English in Rio de Janeiro, working on music events in Buenos Aires, and undertaking academic research in Cartagena

She also works as a writer, with her articles appearing in several national media outlets

Will Princess Charlotte and Prince George be bridesmaid and pageboy for Lady Gabriella?Prince George and Princess Charlotte are no stranger to weddings and have been an integral part of several nuptials

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's elder children have taken part in four wedding ceremonies as pageboy and bridesmaid, including two royal and two family friends

In May 2017 the little royals accompanied auntie Pippa Middleton down the aisle for her wedding to James Matthews

Almost a year later in May 2018, they repeated their roles when Prince Harry married Meghan Markle

In October 2018 George and Charlotte had the important roles in two weddings, for a close friend of Kate Middleton and a member of the royal family

The young royals had a key role in Sophie Carter's wedding first, and later the same month took part in Princess Eugenie's wedding to Jack Brooksbank

Not much is known about Lady Gabriella's wedding, other than it will be a private affair, held at St George's Chapel with a reception at Frogmore House

Although the wedding party has not yet been announced, it is not believed Prince George and Princess Charlotte will attend

A number of senior royals are expected to snub the wedding, including their parents Prince William and Kate, as well as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry
