A Japanese spacecraft has successfully touched down on an asteroid about 170 million miles from Earth

The Hayabusa-2 probe landed on the asteroid Ryugu at around 11:30pm GMT on Thursday

Data from the probe showed changes in speed and direction, indicating it had reached the asteroid's surface, according to officials from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)

The 18-foot-wide spacecraft was programmed to extend a yard-long tube to touch the surface, shoot a bullet into the asteroid and collect the bits of rock and dust thrown up by the impact

In a series of tweets, the mission management team said the bullet had been fired and the spacecraft was heading back to its stationkeeping position, 12

4 miles above the asteroid.  Hayabusa-2 caught up with Ryugu in June last year after a three-and-a-half-year journey to intercept it

Ryugu is a primitive carbonaceous near-Earth asteroid.  Carbonaceous asteroids are expected to preserve the most pristine materials in the Solar System - a mixture of minerals, ice, and organic compounds that interact with each other

Studying it is expected to provide additional knowledge on the origin and evolution of the inner planets and, in particular, the origin of water and organic compounds on Earth, which are all relevant to the origin of life on Earth

New Japanese snacks, Potarich ใหม่! มันฝรั่งแผ่นทอดของญี่ปุ่น เวฟก่อนกิน レンジでポテリッチ - Duration: 14:52.

I'm burning it!!

Smell like roasted coffee beans

Hello! Everyone. I am Pom Nee Gin Chan

Again! Today, we're going to have potato chips.

Listen to it. Sounds so familiar

Here we go! The Potarich

Frankly speaking, I'm so sick of these chips

This is a pack of potato chips, but it's not the normal one.

Let me tell you something.

The Japanese ideas are so brilliant, but they're the practical or successful one or not is something else.

This is Calbee's potato chips

called "Potarich"

I think the word "rich" means about its flavor

Rich of flavor, sort of

As it's printed on the package

said that

Butter and Soy Sauce flavored

You need to put in the microwave oven for 40 seconds

This is kinda weird way to eat but interesting somehow.

This product has been launched a few days ago.

Just cut it off a little till the assigned yellow arrow

[TWICE] Unboxing Japan 2019 Season's Greeting & BDZ Goods - Duration: 6:56.

Hello Everyone

The BDZ merchandises and the Japan Season's Greeting I ordered at the end of last year

Finally arrived today

I didn't buy a lot of the merch

So I will unbox them in one video

I didn't want to buy this small Lovely at first

But the fact that it can be attached to the backpack changed my mind

ONCEs can recognize each other more easily with this on the backpack

I feel like it's a little bit different from the bigger one

Maybe the shape of their heads are a little bit different

It's even made in China

like a K-pop Girl group's Japanese merchandise is made in China

Then the card set

The next are the post cards (trade cards)

I only bought two to three of them every time

and I only buy the sealed ones just for fun

The first one goes to...

I think the last time I bought the postcards I got Mina and Momo too

The last one

I bought only three and I have all of the Japanese line

Then this sweater

I bought this sweater because all the members of TWICE wore it in a Vlive

It's kinda thick

a little bit furry

Let's unbox the season's greeting now

It's ONCE Japan limited edition

I will show the stand calendar at the end

This should be the DVD of the behind making story

There are messages written by the members

I can only understand "Happy New Year"

a boarding pass

is it a sticker

The numbers are "1" and "2"

It is sticker

okay put it back I will never stick it

This looks like another sheet of sticker

It's a card with some info about the member

There is even English, how friendly they are to the intl fans

Is this a random post card

got Mina

I might have a luck of Mina

It's a little bit broken during the shipment

It's a ticket book

It's like the one I bought from the Summer Nights Store

It's used for collecting the tickets for events

There's a MY Ticket List

Are these blank pages for us to stick by ourselves?

It would be better if it's rigid cover like the Summer Nights one

As this one's cover is not so good now

The cover of it looks pretty good

I will only show the pages with their pictures

The last is the calander

That's it for today's video. Thank you!

this is one of the few things I don't like about Japan, don't like in Japan

movies, one of my favorite hobbies from all times

it's very common here in the shopping malls, they always have this kind of gaming places

here you can just come with your family, as you saw, there is a lot of kids here and it's

not so expensive so it's fun, you can spend your whole day if you want

too many people, I just want to go to Softbank,

yesterday I went to AU so today I want to go to Softbank

I need a internet for my roadtrip in April need to upload my videos and also work, but

it is just too expensive they are charging like 4800yen, about $40,

for me to get a mobile router witch will give me like 10GB, too much money for just 10GB

and also I need to sign like a 2 years contract, it's too long

let's see if Softbank has something better to offer today, because AU is just impossible

now 50km, let's go to this public bath, it's public bath right?

it's a Onsen it's very nice, I hope it's a nice place,

it's Oishi like they say "umakado" as local people says

it's really good

tea, here you can get tea from everywhere

city of tea

everybody in the rest of Japan drinking tea

from Ei, they will get angry if they hear this

funny thing about here in the country side, I don't know it's in bigger cities

First Time Japan Itinerary | What to do in Japan - Duration: 15:41.

Hello and welcome back! Today I will talk about an itinerary for first-time

visitors to Japan.

This is going for 3 weeks.

It basically goes from Tokyo to Osaka

Kyoto, Hiroshima, Kintaikyo Bridge (or Kintai Bridge) and Kurashiki.

It will leaves out the very southern tip of Japan, like Okinawa and Kyushu.

And the very northern part of Japan, like Hokkaido or Tohoku.

Of course it depends on anybody's preferences if they'd like to see more

nature or more cities. But I just go for first-time visitors itinerary. I

would like to visit all the major sightseeing spots in Japan. This is

arguable if it's the best of or the major one or if there is another one

which is more bigger or better. From my point of view this is the perfect

itinerary if you visit Japan for the first time. So let me explain this in detail.

So four days and three nights in Tokyo. What I would do, I would book the hotel

in Shibuya. I would book one of the Japanese hotels. Not maybe a Ryokan but

like an ANA or JAL hotel. Most of time this hotels have Onsen. So when

you check in you ask them for the onsen and how to use the onsen and try the

onsen for the first time. Eat at the hotel restaurant so this is the most

convenient way. Maybe you ask the receptionist what is the best to eat

there in the hotel.

Second Day!

Go on a sightseeing bus tour.

Choose the tour which is going to the fish market.

So you can see the fish market. Have lunch at a Sushi restaurant around the fish market.

After that you go back to Shibuya.

In Shibuya you can see so many things it's like just too much.

You go to Harajuku, Meiji Jingu (which is a Shinto Shrine)

Then to Omotesando, which is high-end fashion.

Which you must probably have in your own country.

Explore the backstreets.

And, of course, Shibuya junction.

Which is well documented in so many travel videos about Japan.

Ah ja! I don't want to forget Yoyogi Park.

Which is not just a park. It's very interesting if you sit down. You can see

shamisen player, you can see Japanese taking care of the dogs, ...

It's just interesting to sit there and see what the world around you is doing.

Have dinner at the Yakiniku restaurant. You will most probably love it

The next day you would buy a Suica card at Shibuya station.

Deposit three to five thousand yen on it. Why so much? Because you can use this

card also in Osaka and maybe in Kyoto. But ask this at the station so you

You go to Shinjuku after that and go to the Metropolitan towers. These are for free.

You can see Tokyo from a bird view.

In Shinjuku there is also the Shinjuku National Garden.

The Hanazono Shrine.

You can have some culture and nature at the same time.

For lunch I suggest to eat Ramen.

In the afternoon you go to Asakusa and Akihabara.

In Asakusa there is a huge shrine. Everybody knows this shrine.

In Akihabara there is everything electronics and Anime.

For dinner go back to Shinjuku and have dinner at the robot restaurant.

And you can go to Golden Gai and explore. Maybe have another drink or so.

On the fourth day is time to say goodbye to Tokyo.

You go to Tokyo Station and buy an Ekiben and a ticket for the Shinkansen to Osaka.

Or, if you have the JR Ticket (Japan Railway Pass) - what you can buy only overseas for tourists at discounted price - use that.

Eat your Obento (Ekiben) in the Shinkansen.

Four days and three nights in Osaka.

Your arrival is on the fourth day around midday (maybe).

It depends what you want to do. Go to Dotonburi or Osaka Castle.

Have dinner at Dotonburi. Eat street food, like Takoyaki or Butaman.

We went to Osaka last year. I make videos about it (about food and where we went).

I will link them up here (top right corner of the screen).

On the fifth day you go with the train to Nara and spent a day in Nara.

For lunch I think Kakinoya Sushi is (maybe) interesting for you.

Dinner you will have in Osaka and I think Okonomiyaki should be nice.

On the 6th day, you are in Osaka and there are many sightseeing spots.

Where you can go.

For example, visit Umeda Sky Building

or Abeno Harukas

or Tsutenkaku

Shitennoji (Temple) or

or go back to Dotonburi

Lunch! Have lunch at the Osaka train station.

Like Soba.

Unagi Hitsumabushi.

In the afternoon you could go to Universal Studios Japan.

If you could not make all the sightseeing spots in the morning. Just take one (sightseeing spot you have not seen yet) of that.

For dinner have Sushi or Udon.

The seventh day will be very exciting for you because finally you go to Kyoto.

Check out (of your hotel) and take the Shinkansen to Kyoto.

Usually check-in is 2 p.m..

I would recommend you to take a ryokan. A Japanese traditional hotel or Inn.

Usually you can leave your luggage before 2 p.m. at the reception.

Go for Kyoto style sushi, for lunch,

Try a Kimono or a Yukata.

Make a tour with the Riksha from temple to temple or go to Inari Shrine.

For dinner you should have Kaiseki. A traditional Japanese Meal.

Day 8!

I think a must see is Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and Kinkaku Ji, the Golden Temple.

For lunch I suggest, Obanzai Ryori.

In the afternoon go to Kiyomizu-dera.

Dinner have Shogin Ryori.

This is the 9th day!

I recommend to go to Ryoanji Temple.

For lunch have either try a Kaiseki meal or just go for 7/11 or something.

The afternoon go to Nijo castle or Kyoto Imperial Palace.

Or Gion (district) or Temple (surrounding area).

For dinner have Nishin Soba.

Day 10!

Check out of your hotel and take the Shinkansen to Hiroshima.

You arrived in Hiroshima, most probably have an Ekiben or something around the station for lunch.

I would suggest to go through the Hiroshima Peace Museum

Then to the atomic dome and peace memorial and walk around that area.

For dinner get Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki

Today you will go to Itsukushima. This is an island and this is very famous for the Tori in the water (sea).

For lunch have Ramen Tsukemen.

Spent the whole day at this island. There are dears and you can climb the mountain. It's very interesting.

For dinner eat Atago Sushi.

For the next day take a bus sightseeing tour.

For lunch eat oyster.

Go to Hiroshima castle.

For dinner try some (new) food and have Momojimangu as dessert.

Today you will go to Kingtai Bridge.

You can take the Shinkansen but later to have the train.

You will spend your day around Kintai Bridge.

It will be very exciting.

What I heard there are different kinds of soft cream, so you should try that.

I would say get some recommendation for lunch and dinner.

You will check out (of your hotel) the next day. At 10 am and take the train to Kurashiki.

Have lunch on the way to Kurashiki.

Visit the old city with the canal (Kurashiki).

There is also a very beautiful park.

Get all your information from the tourist information.

Check into your hotel. Again, get dinner recommendation.

Day 15!

You go back to Tokyo.

Actually you can spent as much time in Tokyo as you want.

There are so many day trips from Tokyo. Like Nikko or Kamakura.

I will link here my channel. There you can find day trips from Tokyo.

So that's it for today. I hope you like this itinerary. In the future I will come up with more itineraries.

I will come up with two more, first time itineraries.

Another one will be about nature.

And another one will cover more the not so major sightseeing spots in Japan.

Don't forget to subscribe. Hit the little bell button. So you get notified when I upload a new video.

I try to upload every Thursday and Tuesday.

But recently I do not have the time for Tuesday so Thursday it's definitely the

day where I post a new video. I do have also a German channel I will link here.

If you want to listen to my videos in German.

Not all videos are in German. I just started with it. Give me some time to build this channel.

See you next Thursday! Bye!

My trip to Japan / 日本旅行 - Duration: 5:37.

Last year i went to Japan, now i will tell the story.

Here we go!

Going to japan was a life long dream for me

and sometimes it felt like it was a pipedream.

Last year it happend! I went on a 10 day solo trip to Japan.

So why did I want to go to Japan?

That's..........

.....a story for another day!

First off I took a flight from Sweden to Germany with a 2 hour layover before an 11 hour flight to Haneda airport.

Luckily I had my Nintendo Switch with me and just bought Mario Aces so I could keep myself occupied.

Thank you Nintendo!

Before I left I practiced Japanese vigourlsy, But I didn't research any locations or what to do once I got there.

So when I landed In Tokyo I had pretty much no idea what to expect.

I rented a pocket wifi which I picked up at the airport and I had also purchased a JR rail pass before hand.

but that didn't work now so I had to buy a ticket and take a train to Ueno.

I was really surprised at how quiet it was on the train. Loved it.

The first thing I noticed when I got to Ueno was the people.

Oh my god!

so many people!

It felt like you got in line and then followed the stream.

But I didn't know where to go so offcourse

The second thing I noticed was the heat.

I arrived mid day and it felt like the heat punched me in the face. Hard.

Luckily there was a lot of vending machines outside.

Best idea ever!

I wish Sweden would have drink vending machines.

I finally found my hotel!

My pocket wifi totally saved me this time.

Pocket wifi is the best!

When I got into the hotelroom I see a pair of slippers..

How nice of japanese hotels!

But I think my feet is maybe a little too big 😊

16 hours of travel! I had finally arrived!

What to do…

Guess i'll go for a walk.

But i went in the wrong direction...

Because there was literally nothing there!

It was mid day and I was super jetlagged so I thought I would go to bed.

Iv'e met this guy on his stream awhile back.

he was learning English and I was learning Japanese

so we helped each other.

We played PUBG togheter

I wanted to meet him while I was here so I thought I would message him before I go to bed.

I thought I would have atleast a few days of practicing japanese...

before we would meet but now he was on his way.

I was so nervous!

I got ready to meet him at ueno station.

He was a super cool guy

we decided to go to Asakusa.

The first thing we did was to eat.

Ramen and Beer.

My very first Japanese ramen..

Delicious!

He showed me around and we checked out the temple.

Then we decided to do another thing that doesnt exist in Sweden..

Batting center!

I'm pretty athletic so hitting this ball would be a piece of cake right?

-woosh-

I did learn 1 thing that i would like to share with you...

Getting hit ......

on the thumb with a baseball hurts.

We later went back to Ueno and he showed me Ueno market.

It was so close to my hotel but opposite side from where i took my walk earlier!

We had some kakigori and talked and it was the best night!

So that pretty much sums up my first day in Japan.. out of 10.

-tries again-

-and again-

-give up?-

So that pretty much sums up my first day in Japan out of 10! -cheer-

If you would like to know more about my trip please let me know in the comment section.

Oh yeah! Do you like games?

I make reviews of smallergames on my live channel on sundays and i post them here with japanese subtitles.

Here is a sample!

Too slow!

Like you can see here.

That was it for today!

Thank you so much for watching and see you again.

I want to make longer animations not just longer animations, but I'm planning kind of half

movie animation and before you all like yay

I've been waiting for this

You need to realize that if I'm making longer animations

I'm not gonna make short animations because all of my time

invested in this long animation and I might release it in one month or two months and

In meantime, I'm planning to make these videos where I talk about

Country ball comics only if you enjoy these and if you think that's a bad idea

Let me know in comment section

If you want short animations instead, but I feel like longer animations

Be a lot more interesting. Let me know what you think and I'm working on this kind of longer project

It's kind of movie type thing. I don't know how long it will be

But I'm writing a script writing a scenario and yeah, let me know what you think if you like the idea or not

But keep in mind that I'm gonna stop making short animations if I'll make this long one

Because I don't have enough time for everything. And yeah, that's that. Is it for today? Thank you for watching

I hope you enjoyed this video and

NEW JAPAN ROAD -Takashi Iizuka retirement match- (February 21st) Post Match Interview [7th match] - Duration: 10:36.

Iizuka...

You're retiring, huh?

One last time, please, be your old self.

Iizuka!

Did Tenzan's wish reach Iizuka? No, it didn't.

Will Iizuka come back? No. He pushed Tenzan back.

He's mind is splitting.

Mr. Kanazawa, Iizuka's feeling something, isn't he?

All the thoughts are rushing through his head, aren't they?

He's seeing his 32 years of wrestling.

He must be.

Will Iizuka get back to his old self? Will he awaken?

This is the loudest Iizuka chant in his 32 year career.

Korakuen is giving Iizuka a huge ovation, while in tears.

Tenzan's crying out, 'Iizuka'.

A huge 'Iizuka' chant for a man who always refused the spotlight.

Now he's standing in the center of the spotlight.

Will he get back to his old self? Will he?

Will we see a 'Friendship Tag' reunion?

Will his good spirit come back?

Korakuen fans are picking Iizuka back up.

Please show us one last betrayal!

He's battling with himself to give this handshake.

Iizuka, it's okay! You can come back now!

Iizuka! Please take Tenzan's hand!

He's struggling so hard.

He did it!

He shook his hand!

What the hell!

Iizuka...

What the hell!

Iizuka stayed true to his monstrous persona.

He's got a chair!

He stayed as the 'Bald Malice', to the very end.

This is how he lives.

Moreover...

The Iron Finger. We weren't able to see 'Friendship Tag' reunite.

IRON FINGER!

Before we knew it, all of Suzuki-gun is back in the ring.

However, the 'Iizuka' chant hasn't stopped.

Hey, Iizuka! Hold on a minute, you bastard!

Iizuka! Are you really retiring, or what?

Let's hear it from your own mouth.

Taichi is asking Iizuka for a speech. Will Iizuka comply?

Iizuka is stalking this packed Korakuen crowd.

Iizuka ends in his way. But Taichi wanted him to make him a speech.

It looks like Minoru Suzuki is preparing the bell.

There's always 10 count salute at a retirement ceremony.

We want to hear words from Iizuka.

Is Suzuki going to send him off with a 10 count salute?

These past 10 years and 10 months, all we wanted was to hear your words.

While the Iron Finger is left in the ring, Suzuki rings the 10 count.

He did it.

Iizuka is leaving.

The 'Bald Malice'. 181cm. 107kg. Takashi Iizuka!

Minoru Suzuki did it for the fans.

Iizuka's Iron Finger From Hell lays on top of the cerulean blue.

It's left in the center of the ring.

Well...

Iizuka...

He was an absolutely amazing wrestler.

You ended your career against me, and you pulled out something different, huh?

I had never seen that move from you, before.

Truthfully, Iizuka, you were grea- No, I won't say that...

You were some kind of heel wrestler, bastard.

Damn.

Really…

Iizuka, you should have listened to me, for just one last time, at the very end.

No matter what I did, it didn't work.

I could feel that his heart was moved, for more than just a moment, for much longer, today.

But, I really wanted to flip everything, today.

Really...

I didn't expect that Suzuki-gun's bond was that strong.

At the very end, I thought he would come back. I thought he would not really retire.

Did you see that, today? His old Sleeper and Blizzard.

He's got those amazing moves. Damnit.

Well, it can't be helped, he says he will retire.

However, it's really a shame. I wish my dream came true.

I wanted to know if there was still friendship between us…

I thought like it will go well, but it didn't. So be it. That's how his pro-wrestling goes.

This was his way of life, as heel.

Damnit.

I was hoping to see the big upset in the very end, but it didn't work out like that.

Even though I begged so much, it didn't work.

Takashi Iizuka retired today. That's the truth. So, never show your face around here. Never again.

I don't think that he will pop up again, though.

If he does show up, I hope I can see his old self. Then, I could face him many more times.

Anyway, he had a 33 year career, right?

I believe he could still keep going. He must be sad to end like this.

Well, he showed me every part of his life.

Well done. Thank you.

I can hear it. Or maybe I can't…

He left this behind, didn't he?

Did he really retire? I have no clue. You can't tell with him.

Honestly, was he made to retire or was this his choice? Which is it?

I guess only he knows for sure.

Perhaps…

Iizuka's spirit that me and Tenzan have been looking for is…

No way, right?

Whatever. If he doesn't need this anymore...

Then I'll keep it.

You know what, Iizuka? I don't believe you really intended to retire.

I'll always keep this for you. When you need it, just come see me, okay?

I'll always have it, wherever I go. But I'm not asking for you to come back.

Just come to the ring like you did in Sapporo. You were so badass.

Later.

Let's Move On - clearing up the truth - Duration: 5:46.

Hi guys, it's Nobita. I'll make it quick as much as I can

But first of all

my apology for uploading a video like this not related to Japan or dating.

This video is nothing informative or interesting for those who are interested in Japan or Japanese people.

So if you're busy, please just click away right now. Sorry.

But I promise I'll go back soon to focus on making Japan or dating related contents again from the next.

Got a lot of videos that I want to show you.

OK, let me explain what's going on as quickly as possible

since there's not much time.

Some foreign YouTuber made a video about me saying I gave him copyright strike for a while ago unreasonably.

To be fair, I did retract it soon after he asked me to do so.

But seems like his anger doesn't stop there and today, I found

my mailbox got full of angry emails probably from his many fans.

And it seems like some of my audience also want to know why

so let me explain now before any rumor or assumption going.

I think he got upset because just the other day,

I myself used photos and footage of other YouTuber, a female black woman, and criticized her quite harshly.

Seeing that,

maybe he thought like, "This guy is also using someone's photo!!"

He's angry since he got copyright strike from me and it looks like I don't wanna take any criticism from him.

because I made a lot of controversial videos last year.

And I just do let them go.

Some are actually very reasonable response videos.

But to be honest, I mostly don't even watch and don't care about it.

So the question is that

why I gave him a copyright strike even though I let other response videos toward me go.

Why did I really want to avoid appearing in his video so much even a second?

Remember a while ago

I made a response video to his video, "Why I don't like Nobita"?

I think it was way back 6 months ago.

After I made the video, every single day,

I was getting so many emails and messages saying like "I will kill you!"

from some kind of mixed-race online group and probably his fans. It was kinda scary

While getting many those kinds of emails like that,

some people were constantly sending me some leaking information about him with screenshots

and desperately asking me to make a video about him again.

Sure, I could just ignore that

But I was just so getting tired of it and didn't want to be involved with any those people

so I actually deleted the video just in case.

And thankfully, those emails got stopped which was really relieving.

But one day, one of my close friends told me that

he's talking about me again and including some photos that show me and some interviewee in the video.

I just really didn't want to get involved in any those people again

How can I say this in English?

Appearing in his video, I really didn't want anyone to associate me with him even just a little bit

So actually, even without watching the video, Yes, I did request a copyright strike. It's true

Daniel-san, just in case you're watch this

the reason I did that is

I really wanted to just walk away from you and those people

and really didn't want to appear in your video 'regardless of the content'.

Not because I personally hate him or just didn't want to get any criticism from him.

Actually, I barely talked to him in the first place. Just one time. Like, just 30 minutes Skype call

and I don't even watch his videos.

And as long as it's reasonable, I don't mind someone makes a video against my personal opinions.

I wanna clarify you can respond to my personal views and promise I don't violate the copyright strike system.

Actually, so many people are already doing that

But I have to say that it was my mistake. I should've just let him go. I was stupid

Not surprisingly, he was upset and

requested me to retract the strike, so I did it soon later and apologized to him. (※But I didn't explain the reason)

It seemed like everything was fine. I retracted the strike and I won't appear in his videos again. It's win-win.

But just the other day, seeing me making a criticism video to other YouTuber using her footage and photos,

it seems like he and his fans got so mad and frustrated to me. That's why I got so many emails today.

That's why I'm uploading this video, (Sorry!) instead of a Japanese actress interview video that I was planning.

The best thing to end this kind of drama as early as possible, I came to the conclusion that

I apologize to him for my mistake and delete the video: Response to "Japan is NOT safe"

So actually, I just sent him an email and apologized again for hurting his feelings

and told him he can take the video I took down up again

and I won't react to any of his contents.

I believe apologizing and deleting the video is the best thing I can do now to end this kind of drama as early as possible.

Anyway, that's the reason I deleted the video: Response to "Japan is NOT safe" as many people asked me why

Lastly, do me a favor.

Please NEVRER go harass or say anything bad to him and his fans

That's gonna make the situation worse.

Remember, it was MY fault.

Probably he's heavily depending on the income from YouTube. It's a job for him.

I'm guessing for the full-time YouTubers relying on YouTube income,

getting copyright strike is probably like a life-or-death matter.

I should've been more considerate about that and because I wasn't,

it seems like things went the opposite way as I wanted unfortunately.

But what's done is done and I guess the best thing I can do now is that

simply move on and just focus on what matters to me only. Making Japan or dating related contents only.

I know you guys don't want me to use my energy and time to make a video like this.

Sorry, I gotta go now

I'll finish now

Anyway,

I'll try my best not to make this kind of stupid drama happen again.

Sorry and thank you for your patience and tolerance

Sorry, I'm not sure I could explain well for this limited time.

Thank for listening

A Student Story: Alexander - Youth Japan Summer - Duration: 1:37.

Funny story, me and my roommate got lost on the first day trying to get to class,

and some kind lady spent 20 minutes helping us find where we were going

This trip itself has been life-changing, because now I think I want to study in Japan when I'm older

And I want to, like live here

Because, even though where I'm from it's nice, Japan is completely different.

My mother used to worry a lot. So, when we were actually preparing for this course

She used to email constantly

And, because of the time difference, within 12 hours, when it was morning here in Japan

I would get a response

The school was actually really nice

Personally, I had a little bit of experience with Japanese

But, I had troubles speaking

And all the classes are taught in Japanese,

But the teachers were fantastic and they were able to explain things

In a way that I was able to understand even if I didn't know precisely what they were saying all the time

Also, I really enjoyed the high school visit, because it's cool meeting kids from the other side of the world

Who are the same age as you

There were a lot of similarities and a lot of like, really big differences, which is really cool

Doing Sado, which is like tea ceremony, was really fascinating

and like a lot of the traditional background of it was awesome to learn

I know I want to come back here and I want to live here maybe in the future

So do it if you want to and, you're not gonna regret it!

Kobe ☆ Port Tower, Animal Kingdom & Ikuta Schrein | JAPAN | JVlog - Duration: 13:34.

Hello everyone and welcome to Kobe!

We rushed here this morning inside the Shinkansen and

spend a total of three days here in the area before going back home.

And I'm also very excited about what we will see here.

I have a lot of planning, but I do not know if it all works out.

I will take you with us with videos a bit.

I'm planning a total of three videos about our trip. We'll see what it looks like in the end.

So keep your eyes open about what other videos will come.

As I said, we drove to Kobe this morning. We arrived here around 11 o'clock.

Meanwhile, it is already after 12 o'clock and we have just been looking for lunch.

My schedule is already a bit behind. I have to see how it will be today.

After all, we want to go to the zoo and then to the harbor.

But we already also have seen something else.

We are near a shrine and there is a Game Center here that we would like to go to.

And well, our schedule is already a bit behind.

But now, first it's time to eat. We ended up in an interesting restaurant.

It looks very cool in here. We are now sitting alone in a small booth for ourselves

and I will film a bit. Have fun!

We are now in the Kobe Animal Kingdom.

This is a huge zoo where you can interact with many animals.

That means, you can touch some animals, you can feed many animals

and we'll take a look around now.

Admission is a bit expensive. It costs 1,800 yen to enter.

And yes, I'm curious what the zoo has to offer.

We have left the zoo now. It was very interesting. I really liked it there.

And now we are on our way to the Kobe Tower, because it is already getting dark.

I hope we can make it before the sun has completely set.

We just were on the Kobe Port Tower.

Now at this time, so it has become dark already, it is really beautiful.

There is plenty to see and the floor at the top is dark.

That means it doesn't reflect the light so much and you can take beautiful photos.

We'll take a look around the harbor now, go for a walk

and look for something for dinner.

And then we almost finished our first day in Kobe.

Our dinner was different than planned. I had actually chosen a restaurant.

There were too many people. Then we picked out a new one. There were just as many people.

At the end we landed in a German restaurant.

Or let's say more German-inspired restaurant. That's called New Munich. It was very delicious.

The menu is very global. So there was Omurice, there was German stuff.

But there was also Indian Nan bread to eat.

But it was delicious and you had a wonderful view of the Kobe Port Tower.

We now decided to walk to our hostel. I am very curious how our hostel is.

Because it is quite cheap. I hope we did not land in any shed.

Since I already filmed a lot today and

I actually wanted to squeeze in the half-day in Kobe tomorrow inside this video,

but I almost suspect that there will be a fourth video.

So that I will divide today and tomorrow in Kobe into two parts.

So we will see how it will be.

But I'll finish this video from today's first day now. I hope you had a lot of fun.

Have you ever been to Kobe? That would be interesting for me.

What did you liked the most?

And as always, leave me a thumbs up and a comment down below

and see you in my next video. Byebye!

Ski & Onsen in Japan | Kusatsu VLOG - Duration: 18:32.

Today we are in Kusatsu

It's a Japanese city known for its thermal water

And the legend says that it can cure any disease

Except heartaches

We are 1200 meters above the sea level

And we are in the mountains of the prefecture of Gunma

Speaking of Gunma, it's perfect to go skiing

That's why today we are going to enter onsen (hot spring bathing), and tomorrow we will go...

Ski !

Marlene, what are you eating?

Well... We are eating a dish called "okkirikomi"

That's a specialty from Gunma prefecture

That's "udon" (thick wheat flour noodles) which are special because they are very long and flat

It's cooked in a stock with seasonal vegetables

That's it

Tasting time

Is it good?

Can you see those really long things?

Actually, that's used to cool down the hot spring water

Over there, that's veeeeery hot, and

It becomes a bit less hot

*waiting for grilled meat*

I'm still hungry

Yeah me too

We will eat "manju" then

Ahh "mabushii" = dazzling

And now, we are heading to an onsen park

Oh, look over there, there is a "jinja" (Shinto shrine)

The jinja. It's cute

But it looks tiring

Vendor: "Hello"

Marlen&Julia: "Thank you"

Marlene: "Ah, I'm fine, thank you"

Julia: "Oh my god"

In Japanese: "I'm sorry, but please go eat inside the store"

Red beans "onsen manju" (small steamed Japanese confection made of dough and sweet red bean paste)

"6 for 500yen"

Marlene&Julia: "Thank you"

"irasshai" = "welcome"

It's good!

Yeah it's good

That's cute

Marlene, can you explain?

We were walking in the street, and a grandpa gave us, just like this, from the tray, some "manju"

That's a local specialty, it's a dough with sweet red beans paste inside

That's it, they also gave us some tea

Eventually...

Malene&Julia: We bought it!

Hi

Just hi

That's too much exercise!

Such a steep slope

We can cross if we have to go there

But where are we going after?

Ah, ok, we are going to reach the road over there

My goodness

We wanted to go to Sainokawara, and it's clearly indicated this way,

but we just climbed during... 25minutes

all the way there

How do you feel Julia?

Where are we Marlene?

We are... at...

We are at Sainokawara!

It's a park of onsen

There are many mini natural onsen

The temperature is ~60°C

That's it

Be careful!

I'm going to discover the temperature

Go for it

It's fine!

No big deal

It warms your hand

I think about 38°C

38°C-40°C

38°C

What are we doing Julia?

We put our feet in a onsen, that's a onsen for feet

Yeah

It's called a 足湯 = ashiyu

The particularity of the hot springs of Kusatsu are really acidic

Really acidic means that bacteria can't survive and proliferate

They can only survive less than 1 minute

And we will visit a place later where 1yen coins,

made of aluminium,

in 1 week they are entirely dissolved because of the acidity

That's this acidity which gives the therapeutic aspects of the water of Kusatsu

That's it

Very well, it was Marlene, the documentary maker of Kusatsu for France television, I don't know what

Well well, we have an anecdote to share

Earlier, when we were at the "ashiyu"

The hot spring for feet

And... actually there was a grandpa not far from it who was taking photos of the scenary

And at one point, Julia noticed that he turned the camera toward us

And... he took pictures of us

and he came talk to us and he showed us the pictures he took

It was funny

What are we going to do Julia?

We are going to go to a onsen (hot spring bathing)

That's one of the biggest in Japan

Like, there can be 100 persons in the onsen

Ohhh

So this onsen is open door, no, outdoor

Yeah

That is to say, in the open air

In the nature, with all those trees, and all the birds that are going to look at us

Well, that's a bit creepy but whatever

So Julia

The onsen...

The onsen was really nice

I tasted the water accidentally, and it a bit acidic

Indeed

Don't do it please

However, it's 600yen to enter the onsen

which isn't expensive

But we have to buy the towels

If you buy the big towel, it's 1350yen

It's expensive

And the small one is 340yen I think

So it becomes expensive with the towels

But if you bring them with you, that's a good plan, and it's beautiful

We recommend it

Here are our two tickets to see 湯もみ = yumomi

It's a kind of dance, traditional dance

Where they...

They are going to "agitate" water to cool it down, it's a traditional dance

That's it

Thank you very much!

Are you happy?

I'm happy

So Marlene, can you explain what we ordered?

So, what is here is called an "okonomiyaki"

Inside, usually, there are eggs, cabbage, and ingredients we can choose in addition to it

Where are we Marlene?

We are at the hotel's onsen, second one of the day

It was nice

We are inside the free and private bus of the hotel

More like a minivan

Oh yeah

Which brings us directly to ski

Voilà!

Go!!

Yeah!!!

sugoi = impressive

Turn!

Control!

Slow down, stop!

Yeah!!!

It wasn't bad

I'm alone, Julia abandoned me

She went to her ski slope

Apparently, whe fell down off the chairlift

Now

I'm dead

The thing is...

We split up with Marlene

And then...

I went alone to the beginners slope

First of all, I almost fell down because I was leaning in the back

As I was acting stupid on the chairlift,

This, this thing here

The ski pole

fell down from the chairlift

And then...

I fell down with it to get it back

And they had to stop the chairlift

I almost got crushed by people who were coming from behind

And now I'm finally heading...

to... the ski slope

Well, I won't ski I think

I'm alone because Julia can't go down those slopes

So...

Let's go!

After some technical problems,

I fixed a meeting point

So we will soon see Marlene

The beginners slope

You can recognize it by the number of people sitting on the ground

Did you go down this slope at least once?

No

I went down 3 slopes

I took 2 other chairlifts which were higher, and I went down 3 slopes

I'm no better

My god

Such a style

Wait Marlene

I will show you how to walk down the stairs

So Julia

How was it?

Good!

It was my first time skiing

I almost died, I thought I almost died several times

Marlene... helped me a lot during the whole time

Honestly, I was always "akirameru" = giving up

Marlene was always like "you can do it!!! you can do it!!!!!!!" "You're doing good Julia, very good!!!!!!!" "Keep going!!!!!!!!"

************ (non existing words)

What ?! The "snowplow" ski technique

"Snowplow" technique

Voilà

It was really nice

How did we do to come here Marlene?

So

We searched the website

The ski resort website, which is entirely written in Japanese

And actually, they offer a pack

A one day pack comprising the ski pass,

the ski suit (ski boots, ski, ski poles, hat, gloves)

The whole ski suit

And... that's it

With the one day pass of course to access the ski slopes

And, if we booked it online, it was 8000yen

Whereas if you just physically asked for this pack, it would be 10 000yen

So a 2000yen discount is not bad

And...

That's it

We just skiied for 3 hours

It was nice

And we are very hungry

Yeah

So we are eating

That's it

It's like...

It's the 2nd rank of onsen in Kusatsu

The 1st place, we went yesterday

And the 2nd place is today, after skiing because we have bodies in... cuddles

My goodness

"Sore muscles" if that's what you meant

Sore muscles

Fourth onsen in 24 hours

I didn't really understand

Do it like normal ice creams

温泉卵 = onsen tamago (egg boiled in onsen water)

Look, she took it from here

Yeah
