threat assessments in the digital age in

The art of counterintelligence to assess the threat agent one has to evaluate the intent and capability of the threat to the target phenomena

the equation for this evaluation

Determination and detection stages threat equals desire plus expectations plus knowledge and resources

The dichotomy of the threat agent is both systemic and sub systemic in which the individual state and geopolitical sphere

represent one contrast while the latter exist domains of land sea air space and cyberspace

therefore to assess a threat agent in a program network domain phenomena is complex in its design and

strategic modality

The taxonomy to the level of threat should be measured on a three-pronged based approach from a low medium and high coefficient scale

The criticality to the threat assessments need to be determined by the agency

Therefore the link to human intelligence can provide the evaluation

Determination and detection to the threat thereby preventing the target phenomena to occur and ruling out a possible attack both in the real and cyber

environments

the threat

Conceptualization to the target phenomena should also occur in real time

disseminated both external and internal domains to the threat agent in question

External threats are terrorist cyber hackers foreign spies and criminal groups in which the criticality of the former

Constitutes the latter to a specified threat agent to the target phenomena

vulnerability constitutes weakness to the threat agent

However, the asset can be exploited

Therefore assets can themselves become a liability in which an agency needs to protect?

secure and information to prevent vulnerability to the asset yet maintaining covered lis to the threat agent and the

penetration to the target phenomena in

Counterintelligence the event that would otherwise occur but not yet detected can result in a catastrophic

Consequence. Thus the role of counterintelligence is strategic based on its ability to prevent such consequences

However covered lis at the end of the day protects American citizens

Make Digital Art EASILY ((Inspiring)) - Duration: 8:04.

today we're going to be using Adobe Illustrator to make some neat digital

art very easily indeed

welcome back to Satori graphics everybody the homography design content

right here on youtube for today's digital art tutorial you're first going

to need an image of course and I got mine from pixabay which is actually

linked down in description below it's a place to get royalty free stock images

and it's a really useful resource that I always use we want the canvas in

Illustrator to actually fit around the image perfectly and to do this you

simply need to head up to object artboards and then find the fit two

bounds option then go ahead and lock down your image so it doesn't move

around throughout today tutorial today I'm gonna show you some techniques that

I use to make my digital arts and the idea here today guys is that you can use

the very same techniques to be creative and to make your very own digital art

the ellipse tool can be used to make a circle and the first major technique in

today's video is to utilize the transparency panel in fact this is the

main component of today's video on making digital arts in the transparency

panel we're gonna play with the blend modes which will change the effects of

shapes on your design if you build up layers using various different blend

modes and you can make some very interesting designs for sure I

personally like to use overlay and soft light has the main blend modes for the

digital art in this style today so for example I could copy their circle with

command or control C and then paste it right over the top of the command or

control F now I have two different objects with blend modes and you can

still kind of see behind them on the outer image itself I know the neat

effect is to add a gradient to the shape whilst the blend mode is still activated

again play around with this technique and just get creative with it

I find that lowering and adjusting the opacity of the gradient sliders can also

be a good way to make some knee designs and to do that simply click one side of

the gradient and then change the opacity values

so I'm going to copy this layer again and paste the third circle at the top

it's all about being creative and expanding upon your original image using

these skills and these techniques

another technique that you might want to use for this style of digital art is

applying a drop shadow to a shape or an aspect of your design I further adding a

very subtle shadow in the right way can look awesome and to do that I simply

head into the stylize options here and play around the settings having the

preview box checked the entire time for this kind of design work you might want

to set up an RGB document rather than CMYK especially be going to use things

like drop shadows this is because the blends of shadows work a lot better in

Illustrator if the document is RGB how to digital art design becomes more

complex it would be a good idea to use the layers window this is much like the

layer stack in Photoshop but it helps you in Illustrator because you can

locate lock/unlock and edit specific layers easily the blue square icon on

the right that you can see here lets us know which layer is actually currently

selected if you want to lock a layer just come

over to here and click the lock icon now for one of the best techniques for my

digital artwork and that is to utilize the mesh tool so I will go ahead and

duplicate another shape and then proceeds add a mesh over the circle with

the mesh tool once that's added click to create some mesh lines then you can see

when I press I for the eyedropper tool and sample colors from the image itself

I can then press u to revert back to the mesh tool and select a different section

repeating this process over and over is really neat on this kind of design

because a blend mode is not normal and the shapes below it too or somewhat

transparent so you end up with a really cool effect over the top of your image

you should just play around this effect and spend some time perfecting it I

really like this relaxed and experimental style of digital art in

Adobe Illustrator and as you can see my design is advancing onwards and I have

one more effects for you to use I have a live circle here with a blend mode of

overlay had a gradient fill I also have a rectangle around the artboard which I

can select in combination with the shape by holding down shift

then control or right-click and make a clipping mask this will leave the area

on the canvas itself which just keeps everything neat and tidy as well as

looking really cool so by using all of today's techniques that I've spoken

about and taking your time to be creative you can end up with a digital

design just like mine here I've also added a solid color overlay which you

can see but what do you guys think does it look better with or without I think

it needs to be there in my design but maybe in a lower of a city because I do

want a soft and kind of cold style for this design oh yeah by the way in the

layers panel things can get quite hectic so it's always a good idea to double

click the name of your layer and then rename it so you can keep track of

everything oh and lastly of course I did some typography in a kind of neat and

subtle manner for some reason I thought Chinese script will look good here so I

found the Chinese word for peace and I'm not sure if it's correct but I think it

is

so yeah there's my digital I work in today's video made easy remember to take

your time to get creative with all these techniques that I've shown you today and

make something cool if you want to boost your awareness and your skills as a

graphic designer subscribe to Satori graphics for weekly

graphic design uploads and if you do make a cool design with these skills

remember to tag me in Instagram or Twitter with your designs like and share

my content on social media if you want help on my channel and if you do have a

question or you want to start talking to me about something specific check the

link in the description below and head over to my worthy T account where you

can give me a small fee for my time helping you with your problems until

You're just estarting your business and you want to start your Internet pressence,

Digital Fellowship: How social media can help you grow your church - Duration: 3:11.

music

JUSTIN: Social media is one of the more important ways

to get your message out into the world.

But it's more than just

an announcement system or a bulletin board.

Social media is a way of storytelling and weaving

a narrative about your church and your community.

Some of the things that you can do with social media as a church

is talk about your community members,

interview them, see their lives,

see how they interact with one another,

talk about the activities that they're holding in the church,

talk about all of the good things that

you're doing as a church organization,

whether you're feeding the hungry, having a church picnic

or running vacation Bible school.

All of these things come together to paint a picture of

what your church is, who you are and what you're all about.

You should be participating in as many social networks as you

can based on the target demographics that you have.

You might be trying to reach the youth in your community.

If so, you should consider platforms like Instagram,

Snapchat and Facebook.

If you're trying to reach a more adult crowd

you might try things like Facebook Groups,

LinkedIn Groups, or Twitter.

You could also use an amalgamation of all of these

networks to reach as far ranging as possible.

If you're into interactive media you can create

compelling stories using platforms like YouTube

and live streaming video is one of the

most popular forms of media today.

Trying experimenting with things like Facebook Live,

YouTube Live and Twitch.tv.

All of these allow you to give a behind the scenes look

of what's going on in your community, whether that's

the service itself, an event that's happening

in a local school, or something like a food drive,

a charity auction, or anything else that might give

a little bit of an idea as to the good outreach things

that you're doing inside of the community as a whole.

Social media is a lot more than just a mouthpiece for

announcing what you had for breakfast or where you're

going to be doing a certain thing at a certain time.

It's about making sure that everybody

understands your message.

Again, we want to go beyond the physical doors of our church

and reach out into the sanctuary of the digital world.

So, if you haven't gotten started with social media yet,

now is the time to start.

And we've got lots of tools to help you do that right here.

So we hope you'll join us as we get started

with this digital fellowship initiative.

Marcus Ivarsson - Digital Storytelling : The Red Thread - Duration: 2:05.

My name is Marcus Ivarsson

I am a digital product and experience designer

Currently working as executive creative director on EF

Right now I'm teaching a

course in digital storytelling called the red thread, where I'm trying to

expose the students to different forms of storytelling.

It's important for any

designer to understand the power of storytelling, what it means to people to

make somebody care about a specific concept by utilizing the rich power of storytelling

As a designer sometimes you tend to focus more on the sort of

rational aspects of the problem. But tying the solution into a beautiful

story in a narrative, evokes emotions which as important for a designer

to evoke as the more functional and user centric usability aspects

I think the students have grown more aware of their own backgrounds and

passions and how to utilize that as a platform for communication about your

future dreams. I also think they have been exposed to each other's dream

weaves so to speak I think they've understood more about how to collaborate

by really exposing your own traits.

What Harbour.Space offers, is a wide range of

very professional teachers that comes from the actual industry and you get a

lot of very hands-on instruction on how to become a good designer which i think

is very, very helpful for anyone that wants to move into or just accelerate

their career as an interaction designer

it's a small low-cost robot that the schools use in Ottawa to learn about robotics

We also had the chance to look through makey-makey and Scratch

and also we worked with arduino, the lily pads textiles, and now we are working on other projects.

>>Jamilee Baroud: So I guess we started most of our days with a community meeting,

where we shared our ambitions for the workshop and discussed what we hoped to learn

and also about our fears about technology,

Genevieve Cloutier: And then we jumped into critical analysis, critical thinking, critical contents

by focusing in on roots of representation from the film industry in history

We spoke about that transcribes into the media we see today and

we also talked about how that connects to film techniques, camera angles, shot types

what meaning is better than those technicalities.

I guess we already also talked about identity online, and leaving an online footprint, digital citizenship came up,

I think safety online is also something we discussed.

And then from there I guess we went into production, right?.. Yes.

But i think that hat we have spent a lot of time on the critical components because

through the research with professor Watt, we found that was one of the most difficult things to really tackle

so we did spend a whole day on that..i think a day and half almost? Yeah..

which turned out wonderfully, because i think every single video has such rich critical content

which is really exciting to see but there are also all very different

so i can get that kind of connection of how everyone in the room

was able to connect and kind of digitalize with their personal identity

But also, in a way that is for the purpose of creating change and

for the purpose of creating better classrooms.

Why Adobe Acquired Magento and What It Means for Digital Experience - Duration: 1:16.

Adobe acquired Magento Commerce for a number of reasons. They've

always been the industry leader in the marketing space and being able to

provide digital experiences across the brand, but what they lacked was the

ability to really manage the commerce experience on top of that. Now with

Magento, commerce will become a native offering within the Adobe Marketing

Cloud. Adobe's vision is to be able to make every moment shoppable, and the

acquisition of Magento really helps them get there. Many of us have been out on

a site researching information about a company or services or offerings, and

we'll see a link that says shop or view catalog and that'll take us to a

completely different experience. Now why this is different is now that experience

can become seamless. That's what marketers want, but more

importantly that's what customers want. Customers don't want that disjointed

experience, and this is gonna be a game changer for Adobe. So Perficient Digital

is perfect for the space. We're a premier partner for Adobe, and we are also an

enterprise partner for Magento. Perficient Digital is probably better

suited for a Magento combined Adobe implementation than probably any partner

in North America.

It's important that educators ensure that students have opportunities to practice cultivating

all kinds of relationships, including those with other digital citizens.

In this ISTE U course, educators will explore the historical context and present state of

digital citizenship education through the lenses of legal obligation, learning standards,

traditional frameworks of citizenship education and research on youth and technology.
