Jim there's a there's a something that we've been bumping around a concept that

we've been talking about over the last couple days that isn't real clear in my

head. It was a it's about emotions and feelings and how it affects the immune

system and I know that thoughts can make you sick but there was something else

another layer to that that I thought would be good to talk about sure here.

Okay so one of the things that we've been talking about the Arch Angelics and

begin to open up concepts of awareness and one of those concepts that people

ask questions about a lot of times is what's the difference between a feeling

and an emotion. And a lot of times there's you know I've never heard really

good answers to that question. But one of the things that has gotten clear is when

the when the the ego the rational mind process of each of us over time was

navigating it's safety levels its engagement do I fit how do I do this.

The rational mind created a aspect of measurement or a sensation or sensing

itself and so it began to create definitions for what am i experiencing.

So that's anger and that's fear and that's judgment. So all of these words

are sound tones and when you start to look at the nature of where we came from

which was not comfortable, more survival. The rational mind created this whole

construct called emotion and so if you think about emotions there's I'm going

to define it this way for simple purposes but it's not completely accurate. Is

there's edges jealousy rage anger resentment those kind of things. The

heart on the other hand functions in feelings

and so appreciation gratitude happy laughter no edges so if we just use that

as a frame of reference for this. One of the things and this is the context of

the conversation is how do people get sick and so we talked too often about

it's really you're happy and then you have a thought wait what's going on this

isn't good and then you have an emotion this isn't good and if you hold that

constructive this isn't good I'm sad I'm beat-up I'm not okay

it eventually drops into the body. But the expanded part is if you really hold

those emotions what they deteriorate is the the endocrine system of the body. The

immune systems. The immune systems. So if you think about vibrations you see color but you only

see a little slice of the color spectrum there's a lot of vibration going on out

here same thing with sound you only hear

certain sounds. So when you begin to have feelings in the body generally using

that definition feelings feel good. I'm happy I'm enjoying myself. Emotions in

this same definition don't feel so good. They have that edge. But if you look at how mechanically we

do things we get insulted in life then we don't know what to do with it and we

hang on to it. So it's that emotion the vibration of the emotion it's like an

earthquake could just simply rattles everything eventually falls apart. So

it's it's this spectrum that we don't pay attention to we just go oh I was

angry yesterday but I'm over it so no you're not. So like there's that spectrum

of colors that we see and there's many others outside of that and also sound

you're saying that's the same thing with emotions there's we experience 10 but

there's really a hundred. Yeah yeah there's a whole wide spectrum and some

of these emotions when you start to look at them energetically be almost like if

you looked at them on a spectroscope. You see some of these

motions the more the further out they get when you look you see a vibration

but then you see the vibration doubling up and so it's as if there begins to be

an awkward emotion and then a another awkward emotion and they start to

compound. And when that compounding happens in a way if you ever had a

caffeine high there's an anxiety there's a there's a shakiness in the body and

you can't quite define it other than well that's a caffeine high. But in the

emotional sense there's the caffeine high as a manner and but then there's

two or three other layers of vibrations that magnetically begin to bind and so

this is a place where I watch people say I'm depressed or I'm unhappy or and you

say well what does that mean? It just doesn't feel right they'll say but we

don't have we don't have a frame of reference say I don't emotion right.

Right. If you said I don't emotion right I'm being funny but it's like oh okay

well what is the emotions that I'm hanging on to but the place where I get

to play in the sleep space I've been doing a lot of work here and you start

to look at how that emotional bandwidth couples electromagnetically the further

away from neutral it gets. And it just begins to wear the immune system it

depends on the nature of the emotion but you'll see it affect the thymus you

see it affect the thyroid affect the adrenals different configurations but

they're beginning to be out very much outside of the word I'm irritated or or

I'm really jealous about this. Well you hold on to jealous and all sudden

there's six other things that begin to and they all eat away at the immune

system. Other words connected to jealousy like competition and fear. Yea it all becomes magnetic it's it's like you look at

people who are maybe arrogant as a definition you see lots of other

vibrational aspects to that person. And they're all sitting there shaking in

their own different vibrational field. But it's the immune system that's really

getting hammered. So then on the other side conversely to be well you focus on

the positive feelings in the heart. Yeah. To change that and continue with well-being. Yeah see that go back to

why why those platforms of words in Mastering Alchemy are really the

foundational piece of information is if you can begin to construct the same kind

of alignments certain happy seniority well-being appreciation. They all

magnetically bind together and they create a presentation and with these

changes that are coming two sides we talked about in another Morning

Conversation where these two earths or two stratas of consciousness if you're

really hanging on to ain't it awful and it's their fault and guilt this is

beginning to magnetize in that strata. This strata of well-being is very

beginning is being amped up and one of the words it's foundational is

permission. You're beginning to have permission to feel good and that

permission is going to start to help heal the body. That make any sense? Yea I'm getting it now. A tool in Level 2

that I still use regularly is the thought strings and that helps me identify the

emotion. Yeah. Or the situation whatever it is even it helps me identify want

what I want to create to as well as what I want to dissolve. And the whole process

of that exercise the process with the pen in my hand and the writing it down

starts to decharge it. Yeah just just the process of drawing those triangles. Yea that

begins to be that 8th ray it's like oh wait I see this this isn't where I want to be

and it all dissolves and so but one of the one of the ways

that you might I'm talking to everybody that you might play with it's really simple

game is you ask yourself what's the picture behind the picture? So I'm angry

okay you're angry but what else goes on when you're angry and then what else

goes on when you're frustrated because you're angry or what else all of a

sudden you really stumble into the word it's like I feel left out. Oh wow. So it

may this may be the emotion but here's the source whatever it may be. So a

really valuable tool you stop in neutral okay something's going on what's

the picture behind picture. Good. So try it out I think you'll find it has great

value.

13 Behaviors That Reveal Someone Has Low Self Esteem - Duration: 6:12.

13 Behaviors That Reveal Someone Has Low Self-Esteem.

People who have low confidence are those who have little to no willingness to live,

because despite so many positive things to do, they choose to side with negativity.

Often times, they think that their life is miserable, useless, and empty.

This result in a clear sign that shows on behavior, body, verbal communication, and

many other things.

These people need an extra boost of help from family and friends.

If you spot one, it is better to help them as much as you can.

So, In this video, I'm going to share with you some behaviors that reveal that someone

has a lack of confidence.

But before we go down to the list, please subscribe, click the bell and watch this video

until the end to know the complete information.

Here are some of the characteristics that reveal someone has low self-esteem, and you

should know it.

That way, you can do accordingly for helping them with life.

#1 - Indecision.

They will always let you or the other people to make decision for them.

It is like their life fully dependent on someone else instead of themselves.

They live in a world without choice, and it is a bad sign because this person cannot enjoy

the life.

#2 - Trouble being alone.

People with low self esteem always have hard time to live alone.

The reason is because they hate themselves, and there's no reason why they have to be

stuck with themselves.

Eventually, they will find other people to validate their feeling.

#3 - Trouble being together.

Unfortunately, being together with friends or families also doesn't help either.

The reason is because their jealousy of others who have higher self-esteem.

If this topic is brought up, these people will be troubled and they will look pale.

#4 - Fear of failure.

They realize that people fail before reaching success.

They can read books and watch motivational videos about that.

However, they don't make any progress and they remain seated in the dark room of failure.

#5 - When they made mistake.

They cannot forgive themselves, and they will regret their action for not doing things properly.

This feeling lasts for days, and when they made multiple mistakes in a single day, it

adds up to the whole months of frustration.

#6 - They cannot say NO.

They always want to be helpful to others, and they are disappointed for this decision

in the future.

The reason is simply because people with low self esteem are having hard time to complete

their tasks because of their motivation.

This can be problematic especially when they are down in the middle of the project.

#7 - They always say sorry.

Even though they only make minuscule mistake that obviously can be tolerated, they will

say sorry because of being incapable.

They then regret, and they usually desperate to continue the job.

#8 - Seeking reassurance.

People with low self esteem typically demand reassurance because they are constantly in

worries.

They don't want to disappoint others, and that's why they ask others whether they

have done a wonderful job.

As a friend or family, it is better to give them some boosts of reassurance even though

it may be slightly not true.

#9 - They think everything is based on luck.

The next clear sign of low self-esteem is when they are appreciated, they will say it

is because of luck.

They also might say that they didn't do anything, but others do the job.

They want to be excluded from success because they think they don't deserve it.

#10 - They buy things to impress others.

Another sign of low self-esteem is to follow the trend just to impress others.

Buying weird-stuffs you don't even like, or buying something just because of some trends

that you don't enjoy, is foolish because you will only make yourself suffer.

#11 - Having a weird habit.

Self-mutilation such as picking eyelashes over and over in public place is a sign of

deep and serious anxiety.

It is a weird habit that people with mental problems such as low self esteem have.

#12 - Inviting all people they know.

People with low self esteem want to get reassurance from others.

Unfortunately, they may also invite wrong people in the party (people they barely know,

or people who potentially hurt their feelings).

This causes them to be humiliated in the process, and it will drastically lower their self-esteem

even more.

#13 - They sleep a lot.

If you find a friend who sleeps a lot – especially in the afternoon – there is a high chance

that the person is having trouble with life because of low self-esteem.

A daytime is designed for people to go out looking for work, food, and friend.

However, these special people prefer sleeping instead.

Well, those are the 13 behaviors that reveal someone has low self-esteem.

So, really cool information isn't it?

What Do You Think About Self Hatred? - Love In Action Chapter 7c - Duration: 2:08.

There was an interesting discussion with the Dalai Lama about this worthiness of

love. In 1990 a columnist named Sharon Salzberg was talking with him, with the

Dalai Lama, and I'm going to quote now from the essay she wrote. She said, "Your

holiness, what do you think about self-hatred?" He looked at me, seeming

somewhat confused, and asked in response, "What's that?". Sharon Salzberg continues in

her essay, while I came to meditation at 18 as a result of dealing with feelings

of inadequacy and self judgment for my entire young adult life the Dalai Lama

didn't even know what the meaning of self-hatred was. When I explained to him

what I meant by the term, talking about the cycle of self judgment, guilt,

unproductive thought patterns, he asked me "How could you think of yourself that

way?", and explained that we all have "Buddha nature". So, you have the same

nature that the Dalai Lama spoke of, you can call it the Buddha nature, inner

divine spark, the Kingdom of Heaven being within you, whatever words you might use

there is something about you that is worthy of love no matter what your

challenges or mistakes might be.

Wherever you go, no matter how hard you look, you will never ever find anybody

more worthy of love than you.

Indigenous MMA Fighter Teaches POW (Power Our Women), Self-defense for Women of all Ages - Duration: 2:40.

Just on my own journey, I've met women and girls

that heard that I've been training in martial arts

and they would tell me their stories

and just how I inspired them.

I've even had women say that

I made them want to live again.

K, this one stays up to protect this side.

There and back.

K, ready?

And, one...

two...

three

So our mission for POW is to meet other women and girls

and help them rediscover the power they

already have inside themselves.

And we do that through self-defense and

body awareness training and situational awareness.

I felt like it was really important to create the

safe space for women and girls to have

their own time to put themselves in these vulnerable

situations, but also have the assistance of our

coaches and help them see how to get out of these

situations and the reason I added the fitness to

our program is because our body is the one tool that

we have no matter what, you know, we won't have

a brother, a mother, or our family members

to protect us all the time.

So, if we can create that strength within ourself to

make sure that we can look after ourselves and

look after families and our communities and

even just being physically active just creates

more confidence within yourself to become leaders,

become more outspoken and just, you know,

honor your spirit and your voice.

Power Our Women was literally created out of

the reminders that my mom always put into me, I guess,

growing up she's always reminded me that I'm Indigenous

and that I'm a woman and there's gonna be situations

that I'll have to think about before I go into.

And that's one of the things that we do with our

situational awareness is just to kind of let them

think about those things that are normal, and to

recognize what's not normal.

So that if, you know,

it's presenting itself, they can just remove themselves

right away and, you know,

be safe rather than sorry.

I'm very proud of my sister and what she's doing.

I'm behind her 100% and very, very supportive of her.

Protection is something that we don't think about

all the time.

So, I feel that POW really puts it out there

and makes sure that puts that in their face and

makes them think about that insurance and making sure that

their daughters will be okay.

LET ME EXPLAIN MY SELF 🌧 - Duration: 5:30.

hey guys my name is Danielle, and welcome back to my channel. For today's video I want

to talk about myself and what kind of personality I have; I just want to share

it to you guys and so maybe some of you can relate

first of all I'm not really a very optimistic person in opposition of

optimistic I am pessimistic which I take things very negative most of the

time instead of taking it positive. right now I just finished high

school and I don't know what to do I feel like I don't have some of the

requirements that I needed in able to achieve what I want. The ones that I had

in mind that I feel like I want to do it, cuz I don't know why but I I guess it's

not a good thing to think about what you're gonna earn as long as you like

what you're gonna do then you should be fine with it. I don't really take the

risk, for some other people they do take there is and I don't know what's gonna

happen but my mind is just set over that if I took advantage - one thing i know I'm gonna end up

into something that I don't really like so it's kind of like I don't know if it

makes sense but that's kind of the one I'm talking about the risk so if I

risk myself to be this one thing that I have a doubt that I couldn't do it but

try it anyways I just think of something more of advantage that I will failed and

stuff like that and I don't I don't know my mindset is

just not really thinking about what could possibly happen, you could be

successful to this, and that, and that. If you try it my boyfriend has been telling

me to be more an optimistic person but I guess we just have like different kind

of personalities since he's trying to be more positive than me more of a side of

negative so ya feel like I want to share it to you guys and I want a document

what kind of person I am and I know it sounds really sad to be really negative

but, I guess if you're a negative person you can think of something that the

things that you are really negative with you can actually try to change it into

something and right now I'm still learning myself and I feel like I need

to put more time on the things that I wanted to do in able to determine

which one I really want to be because I feel like I'm not really good at

academics it's just how I feel cuz I'm not really a fan of Science but in

my mind I was thinking of being a pharmacist but I just feel like my

grades is not enough I don't even have chemistry so yeah

well I tried to motivate myself and I tried to seek for more advice so I can

kind of like situate my my thinking or my thoughts I think it's not bad to be

negative it could benefit you in some way but I hope that you guys are not

like me who's being too negative because yeah I feel like if it's too much then it could

lead to depression good thing I can control myself a little bit but most of

the time I have a really supportive friends and special in my friend

in some way you kind of changed my perspective sorry guys for the bad

quality I'm using the laptop to finish this video I just want to say that

please surround yourself with very positive people because they can help

you a lot and don't worry about me because I'm trying to change myself

right now and I'm in a good hand so yeah um hope you guys like my video and if

you guys started same like me it's just what I've said don't be too depress

don't just lock yourself in your room and cry all the time and you're worth it

you're beautiful your handsome if you're like me I was really confused right now

I guess we're both gonna be fine and we're gonna find our ways and soon we'll

achieve one of what we want to be in future I'm really sorry if some of my

point doesn't make sense but yeah thank you for watching I'll see you in my next

video and don't forget to subscribe and follow some of my social medias it will

be linked on a description down below and bye

Why We Chose a Self Managed Super Fund (SMSF) - Australia | SMSF Community. - Duration: 2:51.

well it was pretty simple actually back in that global financial crisis we lost

a bunch of money in our super and we had what we thought were professionals

looking after our managed fund and quite frankly they weren't they lost a bunch

of money they charged me a bunch of fees I decided that we could do that just as

well so let's go out and and do our own thing and I kind of liken it to paying

someone to go down to the corner store and buy me a paper and they come back

they didn't buy paper they cut themselves as a cream bun they're

eating the cream bun and I don't have my paper so they got paid and I didn't get

anything out of it so I was like now I'm not gonna play that game

actually it was very simple it was we went to our accountant he said yep no

problem we've just got to get a few documents filled them out signed them

and he got us started jeez I think it was only a couple of days. And you

started this in 2012? 2012 we first started yet yeah we then went

along to our financial advisor we happen to have one that was dedicated to

self-managed super which was really really helpful and so we went along to

them and they pointed us in the right direction they knew that we had some

knowledge about a few aspects and they said that's where you should be going

and so that's what we did

actually we've doubled our our funds from the original amount that we had in

there it's now doubled and we make a tidy little sum each week out of that so

it's yeah it's looking very good for us the thing is that you're dedicated to

your money it's not someone sitting in office not really caring too much you

are making those decisions so you are not only going to be in control you're

going to see firsthand what's going on and you are more likely to take faster

steps if something is not quite going right for you

really it's the control that you have the dedication that you can put in there

and see what's going on you can control what investments you you're going to

have and you know just where the direction that you're going to take

Self-serving Bias - Duration: 4:51.

[Britta] It is hard to say for sure whether someone is right or wrong in these things

it is all up for debate.

[Professor Robert Prentice] Psychological pressures -

especially ones we are not conscious of -

often make it difficult for us to be as good as we would like to be.

One of the most significant is the self-serving bias - -

the tendency we have to gather information,

process information,

and even remember information

in such a manner as to advance our self-interest

and support our pre-existing views.

Because of this bias,

even when people try their hardest to be fair and impartial,

their judgments are inevitably shaded by their own self-interest,

often in ways that seem indefensible to others.

[Shawna] As a journalism major, I have,

you know, written articles before, and

I definitely, you know,

sometimes I feel very strongly about an issue that I am writing about,

and I look for sources that reinforce my own opinion.

The pleasure centers in our brains light up

when we are told that our beliefs are correct

or that a conclusion that advances our self-interest is accurate.

Therefore it is not surprising that people with conservative political beliefs

are more likely to watch Fox News

while liberals are more likely to watch MSNBC.

Not only does the self-serving bias affect the information that we seek out,

it also affects how we process that information.

Thus, supporters of competing political candidates

who watch the same debate each tend to conclude that "their guy" won.

[Britta] As a filmmaker, sometimes you have a cut of your movie that is not complete yet

and you are seeking feedback from other people.

If they give you feedback that does not go with that,

or is the opposite of what you are expecting them to say,

it is easy to be like "oh well I asked the wrong people."

The self-serving bias even affects how we remember information.

Studies show that we are more likely to recall evidence that supports our point of view

than evidence that opposes it.

Because of the self-serving bias,

studies show that when scientists review articles,

they will tend to conclude that those supporting their pre-existing point of view

are of higher quality than those opposing their point of view.

[Caroline] I had an assignment just this past semester

that was a debate.

I read our side of the argument so it is very easy to be like

"this is great! Like this is everything that I have been looking for!"

And then the failure to read the other side,

can be a really big problem.

An accounting industry official

testified before the SEC, saying

"we are professionals that follow our code of ethics

and practice by the highest moral standards.

We would never be influenced by our own personal financial well being."

This testimony reflected an embarrassing ignorance

of the impact of self-interest upon all humans' decision-making.

Inevitably, our self-interest clouds our ethical judgements,

even in the most well-intentioned people.

The more subjective the judgement,

the less certain the facts;

and the more that is at stake,

the more influential the self-serving bias is likely to be.

Do not make the same mistake!

Guard against the self-serving bias!

[Megan] If everyone is looking out for their own individual affect

and what they are doing

they are not going to look out for what collectively they could do as a whole.

And what to move society forward.

It might be the difference between having a discussion with someone

and having an argument with someone.

And I think having an argument is about winning

and proving that your opinion is correct.

[Francisco] You just have to be more objective,

and be open to other people's ideas and thoughts.

If you can understand their viewpoint I think we will all be in a better place

and you have started to diminish the effects of the self-serving bias.

has grown tremendously and our what we provide impacts millions and millions of

drivers and we also provide a lot of mobility to the people otherwise

wouldn't have and here are some of the variety of products that Uber offers

so now going into the autonomous transportation one of the one of the

facts that a lot of traffic accident today

like over 90% is due to human mistakes so we we totally believe that

alternative transportation could save lives

and so far uber has a vehicle it's a you can see the picture there it's a mobile

based autonomous vehicle and then there is an autonomous truck some of the

statistics we already ran two million autonomous miles

and we have operations in Pittsburgh and Phoenix and San Francisco we even do

passenger carrying trips in Phoenix and Pittsburgh I actually flew back

yesterday found Phoenix and was riding in one of the cars and tried to see how

well our hard not well it's working okay so going down to the technology a little

bit about technology this is what a high-level aspects of what's on the car

so think about in order for the car to work autonomously it first has to be

able to perceive objects whether there are static objects or moving objects are

they cars next to you are they parked are they moving

what about pedestrian are they waiting at the intersection or are they crossing

the road so these are things that have to be perceived accurately in order for

the next step to happen which is well you have to predict based on type of

object what they're going to do in the next five to ten seconds so once you go

through that prediction then you have to figure out well what the car should do so

that's motion planning so you plan out then the movement of the vehicle once

you figure that out then that gets passed down to the controls and that

essentially maneuvers the car and then in addition map is actually a very key

part unlike Google map it has to be a lot more detailed so the process to

which to produce a map is actually an extremely laborious and difficult

process and it changes constantly - so by the time the map gets release and

gets out and get put on the car actually many of the things already changed so

then what should the car do in the case where what the map says versus what

actually perceives is different so these are also added logic that has to be

considered in autonomous technology development I sort of remember a long

long time ago when I was at Cal I was on the

path project for those of you who studied here during that time you may know path

project at that time we were like okay GPS is not gonna be accurate

enough and we were even thinking about putting magnets along the highway we

have to build out very specific lanes just to be able to run autonomous

vehicle but now of course you know technology has advanced so much and we

have all these lighters cameras and all of those things that help perceive and

GPS technologies a lot better as well so ok so typically when people talk about

autonomous technology you know the focus is on what's on the car there's also

another aspect of running autonomous transportation so here is what it is and

that's actually a couple of engine teams that I lead we focus on fleet management

so in order to have a product with these cars let's take a sample of carrying

passengers when there's no operator in the car we have to be able to think like

driver and we also have to be able to remotely monitor where all the cars are

what are they doing and to ensure that there is safety and security associate

with it just think about air traffic controller and this is what like every

moment of time that we need to know what things are going how things are going

and if there's issues like we have to deal with it right away

so things that has to be considered like well once I drop off a passenger if I

don't get the next one where should the car go it can't really just sit there

and park there so we have to figure out ok now we need to tell the car to go to

another spot once I get there what do I do

right so all of these applications and services that needs to be built out just

to manage the fleet for it to do the right thing is actually a very important

aspect of a running autonomous transportation as a business

so along with that of course we have to build extremely reliable scalable and

cohesive systems there's a lot of things to consider here the LTE network well we

can't what happens when there is a dead zone what happens there is no more

connection so what are the fall backs that the car has to then deal with when

everything is connected we still have to build our lot of distributed services

and ensure that there's sufficient performance SLA requirements that's met

so so these are all things need to be considered in and in developing the

right software that meets the requirements in order to run the

business safely and reliably ok we're looking for talented engineer top

manager designers I there is a burr table out there if there's anyone

interested I'd be happy to chat we have time for one question yeah How do you pick what cities to go to? they're very good

question so we did actually tried in San Francisco but due to regulatory reason

that we couldn't carry passengers but their their trade-off to be made one is

where is the location where it makes business sense you have to have enough

trips like real rider trips in order to make a sense so that's one key

consideration but you also have to have to consider technology capabilities

because in order for the car to do everything a human can do it's still

quite far out so we would have to pick cities to say okay let's do step by step

where is an easier place to to work out some of the very basic and fundamental

and key capabilities and let's try there and was the technology

that we can go to more complex locations to run so ultimately is a balancing

between technology and business factors
