I am Mai Saito I am studying music especially for

the voice performance and I have had amazing opportunities to perform both in

the Chamber Singers and as a soloist and thanks to Chamber Singers I sang at the

Carnegie Hall last summer and that was really nice experience in my life

and also I am having a private lesson once in a week and thanks to that I got

the prize in the competition and got the scholarship from OCC

I really recommend OCC of course because I feel like OCC has really nice professors and

environment or even students I came to America right after graduating from high

school at the time I didn't plan to study music here but

when I came here I was really inspired by people who studied what they're

passionate about and then that made me realize that I really want to study music

Fernando Torres on why he choose Japan - Duration: 5:39.

Konnichiwa, Fernando Torres Desu. YoroshikuOnegaishimasu! [Hi, I'm Fernando Torres. Thank you!]

Yes! Oliver and Benji got me into football.

I was 5-7 years old and I had not touched a ball in my life when they started showing Oliver and Benji on TV.

I remember that you had to finely tune the television to find the channel.

And I stayed glued to the screen watching Oliver and Benji. Seriously!

In fact, during one of the visits of the President of Sagan Tosu to Madrid,

he brought us a picture of Oliver and Benji where I was one of the characters with the Atletico shirt,

and the painting was signed by the author.

They found out that I liked it, and they were kind enough to give me that present.

I love the way the Japanese people are, how respectful they are, the space they give to people.

It's something I've noticed in Japan, quite different from other places in Asia.

It is something that is appreciated, especially at this time of my career.

From the match against Sagan Tosu [in 2015],

I remember that we were all impressed by the atmosphere in the stadium.

There were so many people, the stand almost full, there were huge banners and flags, everyone cheering. We were really impressed.

The stadium was almost full and that means that this is a team and a fanbase that wants football,

that breathes football, that lives football, that demands that things happen.

It has always been very important for me to have passionate fans behind me, that want things to happen...

That's a huge incentive.

Yes! We are playing the penultimate day!

It will be a pleasure to play against Iniesta. I wish it was with him, but...

We can make him a place in Sagan Tosu whenever he wants.

Iniesta told me the idea he had [to go to Japan].

Then everything went as he expected and it became official.

He was also aware of my option and encouraged me to follow him there.

The reports he had to the league and of the country were very similar to the ones I was given.

We have had parallel lives: We debuted together for Spain U-15,

we have achieved the greatest successes of the Spanish national team as important players and now we are leaving our clubs

in the same year to go to the same league.

I know the players of the Sagan Tosu

and also those in the Japanese league who played at the World Cup

but will soon leave, I'm afraid.

They have played a great role in Russia, despite the tough defeat they suffered against Belgium,

because of the way it happened in the last minute of the game.

I think they have shown that they are players who, individually, have a lot of potential.

Hopefully we can help to form base from which they can look to the future.

When making the decision, you try to evaluate everything.

And there are points that add up. For example, how good we were treated there?

The fans, who I'm sure I'll like because I've seen them.

It's a humble and hard-working city, which is important because that is directly linked to the way in which

fans behave and what they are going to demand of the team... It's all related.

And there have been very few points that left us in any doubt.

Whenever I have gone to Asia, and to Japan in particular,

I have received overwhelming affection.

I understand that expectations and enthusiasm are very high, and that makes me even more motivated to be up to the challenge.

I am not going just to spend two years and see what life is like in Japan. Absolutely not.

I'm going to compete, to help the team achieve its goals,

and I hope I can return back all that love that I'm sure I'll have from the first day.

Golden retreats are elsewhere... I was looking for a competitive league,

which would make me feel like I have a challenge ahead of me. And I'm thinking 100% about football,

about being a footballer, about doing my best, working hard, being a team player,

and I'm available to the team for whatever

I want to be important, to make myself important, to become a reference for my teammates,

for the club and to ensure that when I finish my experience in Japan,

they can remind me only with good words as it has happened to me in all the places where I have been.

Youri en de Naruto - Japan vlog - dag 14 - Duration: 5:39.

Tim this our last day here

Yeah our last day here

We're going back to The Netherlands, the country where Mrpindamovies comes from

Sorry

I've been left behind by her mother

You've made a whole backstory

We're going

We're going

Guys, we've decided to visit a random temple

Hi guys, we've decided to not go to the temple, but to that nice looking bird instead

That bird is way more fun

Is that Donald?

Donald

They changed the art of Donald Duck a bit

Hi guys, we've arrived at the temple

I have no idea what they're doing

Mark is talking to someone

A random Japanese person randomly gave Mark present, some sort of mobile hat

Really nice

Mark just randomly received a present from someone

No one knows why, but it's really nice of him

I'm still really confused about the fact that Mark received a random present

It was kinda scary in a way, since the guy who gave the present wanted to grab Mark his phone to put the present on it

Yeah, that was not okay, really kind of him to give me a present, but he can't grab my phone like that

Ah, shit guys, we're not allowed to play Pokemon go here

Guys we've found the shield frogs (Turtles)

Look Tim

They're all gathering cause they think we're gonna feed them

I do have a bottle of Tropicana, maybe they'll like that

I bought a turtle figure

Guys we've found our favorite drink again!

Peanut juice!

We've found a 100 yen shop again

Tim I really missed this shop

Same Peter

Pinky swear

Youri is gonna buy me some food at McDonald's or he will have to swallow one thousand needles

It's really a typical thing for us to eat McDonald's in Japan as one of the last things we do here

This is a typical Japanese food dish

Really? What food do you have?

A cheeseburger

Out of all the Japanese things you could've chosen, you chose a cheeseburger

Yeah, there are so many Japanese burgers, but I just had to choose a cheeseburger

Peter she is calling you

Abel don't throw her down there

Abel no!

Hi guys we're at the airport, and Youri his throat hurts

We'll have to wait here for 3 hours before we can check-in

And then we have to wait for another 3 hours

Yeah, we're here way too early

I don't mind it tho, it's really cool in here, it's currently 35 degrees Celsius outside

Hi guys, we've spend some money again

I'm really glad that we bought this tho

Hi Tim

I wanna rotate this bottle

You wanna rotate the bottle?

Why do you wanna rotate it?

Wait can you hold it sideways?

And now rotate it, now it's rotating just like planet earth Youri

Guys we're gonna eat some sushi by the way, we're still on the airport

Did you order some sushi?

Yeah I did

Why does it take so long tho, we've ordered it a while ago

I did order some soup with it tho

Doesn't this look good Peter?

Looks good

Hi guys, we destroyed the order system

There's a really long queue over there now

Yeah, there's a really long queue because of us, Mark and Tim got their food, even tho Youri and I ordered 30 minutes ago

They keep looking at us as well

This will be really fun

Hi guys, they just asked us what Youri and I ordered because they apparently forgot

They were afraid to ask us what we ordered tho, so they kept walking past us for the last 30 minutes

Youri bought some ramen and it looks really good

That Naruto looks so fake

It looks like someone has drawn on it

Grabs the Naruto with his hand

Puts the Naruto between his chopsticks

I've never eaten a Naruto before

I haven't eaten one before either

Does it taste salty or bitter?

He doesn't know what to think about it

The texture is a bit like meat

It tastes more like fish tho

Like ravioli?

Yeah maybe

Is that a minion airplane?

Until next time

S. Korean FM meets with counterparts from Russia, Japan and China - Duration: 2:50.

We begin over in Singapore, where South Korea's top diplomat continues to hold bilateral talks

with her counterparts... on the sidelines of the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting.

Our Lee Ji-won who is in the city state right now.

She joins us on the line.

Ji-won, who did Minister Kang meet with today and what were some of the main topics at the

table?

Daniel, Minister Kang was going to meet with her Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, this evening,

but that meeting has been postponed until tomorrow due to delays in the Chinese side's

schedule.

When they do meet, though, it's expected that they will, of course, discuss the ongoing

developments on the Korean Peninsula.

And among the pending issues is a declaration of an end to the Korean War,... where South

Korea and China are key players alongside North Korea and the U.S.

Minister Kang started the day's meetings with neighboring Northeast Asian countries at 5-15

p.m.,... the first with Russia's foreign minister Sergei Lavrov.

Unlike what many expected, they did not focus much on North Korea's denuclearization, but

more on how the two Koreas and Russia can cooperate economically.

The leaders of South Korea and Russia had promised in June to launch a committee to

commemorate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties in the year 2020.

Minister Kang, on thursday, proposed launching the team sometime this year, to which the

Russian foreign minsiter agreed.

Now, after that came Kang's meeting with her Japanese counterpart, Taro Kono.

We don't yet have the specifics of their talks,... but they are expected to have discussed the

"comfort women" issue and the 2015 agreement.

That deal has stalled because the Korean people do not believe it fully reflects the demands

of the victims.

Ji-won, we are expecting North Korea's foreign minister Ri Yong-ho's arrival tomorrow, any

update on that?

Daniel, North Korea's state-run Korea Central News Agency said Thursday that its foreign

minister Ri Yong-ho has left Pyongyang to participate in the ASEAN Regional Forum, one

of the major sessions at the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting.

The forum is slated for Saturday.

It's the only multi-party regional security forum that North Korea partakes in.

And while talks between the two Koreas have not been confirmed yet,... the ARF would be

the only session where Minister Kang will be sitting together with Ri.

According to Seoul's Yonhap News Agency, Minister Ri arrived in Beijing at half past 11 in the

morning, and will take a midnight flight Singapore, arriving at around 6-thirty in the morning

on Friday.

With Pyongyang's news agency calling Ri's visit an 'official' one, there are expectations

that Ri could stay in the city-state beyond the ministerial meetings to take care of other

business with the Singaporean government.

The KCNA said that Ri Yong-ho will be making an official visit to Iran as well.

That's all from me for now Daniel.
