Today, we're going to talk about how long a massage should take.
When using a Thumper Massager, you want to let it do the work for you.
Don't stroke the massager back and forth, just place it on the area you want to treat
and hold it in position as you feel the muscles relax.
Glide the massager over to the next spot and park it there until you feel its effect.
You will feel the Thumping action release tight knots and tension in less than a minute.
Using this technique, you can massage an area like your thigh or your shoulder
in one to three minutes.
Most people use the massager for about five to ten minutes per session.
All of our Thumper Massagers are designed for intermittent use.
Which means, they must be allowed to be cooled down between treatments.
This is also referred to as
20 minutes on, 20 minutes off.
If the massager gets hot, it will shut down automatically to prevent overheating.
In addition, the Mini Pro is equipped with an indicator light, here on the handle, that
comes on if the unit shuts off from high temperature.
For this reason, we recommend you to avoid using the massager under a blanket or a pillow.
When overheat protection is triggered, don't worry!
Just unplug the massager and let it cool down.

Although we use the same massage technique with all of the products, a large massager
like the Maxi Pro would be ideal for a full-body massage in five to eight minutes.
Whereas the single-sphere Thumper Verve is ideal for targeting smaller muscle groups.
