For the evolution and progression of a better

future, the digital revolution is the best way.

The revolution is all about the transformation

of the accomplishments of humans.

All these transformations that take place have a lot of

diverse effects on the human life as well as in the world.

The effects can take place in the cultural form or the

traditional form and also in the economy of a country.

The digitalization is not just about the new technology, but

it is a way through which technology can be used effectively.

With the help of the digital Revolution which is also known as the third

industrial revolution, many things were introduced to the mankind.

One of the best technologies which were introduced by the digital

Revolution or the third industrial revolution is the internet.

It is among the most common Technologies which are used nowadays.

With the help of digital computers, many things are made

possible, and a better way to use the internet is found.

The internet also introduced the new ways of interaction or communication.

Not just for the communication, but the internet has played a substantial

role in the expansion of a number of businesses and companies.

To reach the global level, there was an extensive requirement of a robust platform.

So that platform is attained in the form of the internet,

through which people can reach globally for their interests.

The Digital Revolution has helped in transforming the analog

as well as a mechanical technology to the digital technology.

Nowadays the use of email or social media websites is extremely common.

People use a number of platforms that are available on

the internet for their businesses and personal use.

There plenty of industries and companies which are

exporting and importing products from across the world.

With the help of the internet, many things have become easier, such as the interaction

with people who are living in thousands of kilometers away from each other.

Earlier there were limited resources for communication such as telegraph or letters.

But now there are plenty of options available for

interacting with people from distinct countries.

A lot of companies are reaching the global level from where

it becomes easy to work and provide services to the clients.

There are many companies which can provide products

as well as services without taking weeks or months.

The latest technology assists in the shopping and the delivery

of products, undoubtedly this process has become faster.

All of these facilities are rendered because of the

industrial revolution that took place as digitalization.

There is a lengthy history of digital Revolution,

and it all started in the year 1947.

Since then, many things are started to change, and

development in the digital form also started taking place.

The digital revolution has gone through an extended journey

and in between many changes took place in the world.

Earlier there were portable phones which were only used to call and text.

But this was the situation before the introduction of pagers.

As the cell phones were introduced, people started taking an interest,

but that was the time when things were relatively extravagant.

The cost of cell phones which exist in the earlier times

used to be too much, and not everybody could yield them.

In contrast, everyone has a cell phone in today's era.

The communication was increased with the introduction of cell phone,

and after the Genesis of the internet, things changed rapidly.

There was also a time when black and white televisions were famous,

but now the situation and circumstances are totally different.

Now many electronic items and appliances are available.

The variety which can be seen today was not there in the past.

Now not just the television or mobile phones but also the other appliances such

as refrigerators or washing machines, are becoming more digitalized than ever.

Apart from all the factors of the digital revolution, it is also

important to understand the various advantages and disadvantages of it.

It is a fact that many Technologies emerge, and many of them also go extinct.

Most of the new technologies that emerge are

there to provide better facilities to the users.

There is also a case of the negative impacts

of Technology which cannot be ignored.

There are a number of advantages of digital revolution,

but there are a plenty of disadvantages too.

Digital Revolution has changed the way in which businesses and

companies work and with the help of this productivity is multiplied.

The Revolution has helped businesses to reach new Heights, and many

companies gain a lot of revenues by adopting the most recent technologies.

Along with the internet, many other gadgets such

as tablets are bestowed by the digital revolution.

The communication has made easier than ever, and transparency

can be noticed in different departments of the companies.

The disadvantages like the job redundancies and cyber threats

are the unwanted gifts received from the digital revolution.

The various demerits are harmful to the children as well as the adults.

Apart from the various advantages, the digital Revolution

has a great significance and a crucial role to play.

The Revolution has helped in enhancing and improving the

productivity of a number of companies and businesses.

Nowadays people have a great platform with the help of which they can transform

their interests into a digital business and get better profits and revenues.

The cloud services are also provided with the digital revolution and the latest

technology which help in storing data and accessing any data at any time and place.

The Revolution has a lot of impacts on the personal

life, social life as well as the life of individuals.

The advantages of the new technology can help children to grow, but

the adverse effects of the technology can be very harmful to them.

Therefore, there is an urgent requirement to understand the difference between

all these good and bad factors and make an efficient use of Technology.

The utilization of the technology in a proper way can be

less harmful whereas the exploitation is always dangerous.

The distribution has provided a podium through which people

and companies can grow, and the businesses can be enhanced.

Catullus 101 + De un boceto tradicional a una pintura digital - Duration: 8:40.

The atrocious pain that fills me is insupportable.

Having been carried through many tribes and seas,

I arrive, brother, to these wretched funeral rites,

so that I may present you with the last tribute of death

and speak in vain to a silent ash.

Since fortune has taken you, yourself, away from me,

alas, poor brother, unfairly taken away from me,

In the meantime now, nevertheless, these things which in the ancient custom of ancestors

are handed over as a sad tribute to the funeral rites,

accept them, drenched with brotherly weeping,

and forever, brother,

hail and farewell.

Luka Sabbat Digital Series | Episode 6 "Road Tripping" | Hot Mess On Freeform - Duration: 3:28.

First question —

what made you guys decide to do a show in LA this time,

since you just had one in New York a few months ago?

The answer's in the question.

Our last show was three months ago, and that's way too long.

From the beginning, we always wanted to tour it to a certain extent

where we do more than one show.

And we have different content, and that's

why we're planning to do another one in Japan after.

So, what's the prep been like for the show?

Insanity.

Super last minute and super disorganized.

Lack of communication. Luka and I running around.

It's gonna be fire, though.

It's sick. I mean, it's classic Hot Mess.

Bro, is this the 101? Seems like you're on the right path.

That's critical. We're already late as f*ck.

Y'all know how to do this sh*t?

I can do, like, a back flip.

[Noah] Stop playing.

I'm serious.

[Noah] You're playing.

I can put my feet up on the handlebars while I'm driving,

or I can stand on it while I'm driving.

[Luka] That's hard.

Yeah.

But, I mean, if you want it to go fast, I don't know if you're

gonna get the shot.

We're gonna get the shot.

Okay? Don't worry about that.

Oh, we'll get the shot.

Oh, okay. Okay.

Try those. Try getting on those. Tell me how you feel.

And then we're gonna try to see you on

one of the race ones.

Okay.

How much would an extra ATV be? Just for a quote.

$650 for the three. If you wanted an ATV as well,

we'd do $800.

We'll do it.

The credit card information needs to be

filled in on the bottom as well.

Oh, I'll fill that in.

It's a beautiful life.

I enjoy it.

Great life.

Ready to die in California in the sands by the salt lake.

Great.

In California, it's a law that they have to wear a helmet.

You know this, right?

Yeah. Well, now I know. I'm from New York.

Ah, right.

Certainly, if they're on the bike and not moving, you can

have them pop their helmet off — if that's what you're

trying to do with your photography.

Yeah.

But if they're riding, you would run the

chance of a ranger coming by.

It's not terribly likely, but if they came by,

they would certainly issue you a citation.

Well, we might slip in one or two shots without helmets.

We might.

The sunlight's getting mad low and I don't like that.

Cause we gotta get out of here.

Yeah, we need to hurry up. As usual.

Ridiculous.

Introduction to ARYZE and Digital Cash - Duration: 3:08.

Interestingly enough it all started with me buying Bitcoin back in 2013. I was a

geeky kid and I was curious about all things internet and technology. So I

don't know how actually, but I stumbled upon Bitcoin and I kind of just forgot

about it. After a few months the price of Bitcoin went up so that was of

course fun, but what really caught my interest was the "why". Why did the price

go up, what is this thing I actually just bought.

With cryptocurrencies you can make payments peer-to-peer. From individual to a business.

From an individual to a robot. From a robot to a robot because essentially you don't have

these payment intermediaries. So the aim of ARYZE is to make dumb money smarter

by making a version of fiat currencies existing on a blockchain so you can move

this e-token, e-money without all the traditional payment intermediares.

What individuals and businesses and governments are using to transact is not

cryptocurrencies. It's government-issued fiat currencies and in order to transact

using fiat currencies you have to go through these traditional payment

intermediaries. Card issuers, terminals, banks, clearing houses, liquidity

providers and all these intermediaries they add a bit of time and a bit of fees

to facilitating the transaction and in the end what we have is a slow and

inefficient payment. Our goal is to build a bridge between cryptocurrencies and

fiat currencies because fact is that cryptocurrencies and blockchain systems

are here to stay... and they're amazing! Every day there's some new piece of

innovation or a new approach happening in this sphere so today you can do

something using cryptocurrencies you couldn't do yesterday. But our own money -

fiat currencies - still remain very, very slow in terms of how fast it evolves

This is of course because of the said intermediaries who governs fiat currencies

Initially we won some accelerator programs. The Venture Cup and

Innofounder programs which was really, really good.

It helped us in the beginning, it helped us to really accelerate what we're

trying to do. It helped us have you get a roof over our head it helped us to buy

some licenses that we needed and it helped to kick-start what we're trying to do.

But now the focus is not trying to get as many awards as we can or getting

nominated for as many things as we can

the goal here is to create something that is worthy of winning prizes.

How To Upload Subtitles to Facebook // Digital Distribution - Duration: 1:26.

In this video we're gonna walk through how to add subtitles to your Facebook video.

If you're not sure how to get to this point already go ahead and watch

our video on how to upload a video natively to Facebook.

So I've already done that part and as you can see I've given the video a title and I've given

it a description. Now what we're going to do is go over here to subtitles and captions.

We're going to select a language; I've already selected English.

Then we're going to upload.

We're gonna find the SRT file, here it is, open.

Uh oh, we've run into a problem. I haven't used the correct format.

So a little quirk about Facebook is your SRT file, which is your subtitles, has to have the

same name as the video on Facebook plus this ".en_US"

It's no problem, we'll just find the SRT file,

and we'll rename it.

It already has the same title, we just have to add that ".en_US"

Perfect! So let's try again.

There you go! Our captions are uploaded and we're ready to either post, schedule , or save as a draft.

Hope this was helpful! Thank you for watching.

Importance of digital accessibility - Duration: 2:36.

[Voice-over] Are you working on web, mobile or e-learning content?

Whatever your role in the project,

you will need to consider digital accessibility.

Why?

Because digital accessibility has become a key issue

for companies that care about social responsibility.

Some internet users cannot access digital content

unless it's made accessible.

But digital accessibility has also become a legal obligation

and if content is not easily accessible,

it can already lead to significant liabilities in certain countries.

Don't see it as a constraint!

Applying accessibility rules will improve the website experience for all users,

not just those with disabilities.

For example, the possibility of changing text size

is not only crucial for people with a visual impairment,

but also for those with dyslexia, or simply visual fatigue.

In the same way, video subtitles are useful for people with hearing impairments,

but also for everyone,

when the background noise makes it difficult to hear,

or when the language used is not their mother tongue.

And if the needs of people with color blindness are considered,

your charts can be printed in black and white with no loss of information!

Besides these few examples,

remember that even if accessibility rules

were created for people with disabilities,

they are good for everyone.

Does this help you understand the need for digital accessibility?

But where do you start?

Where can you find these rules and how much will it cost?

Don't panic!

Accessibility is easier to implement than you think.

There are rules that serve as reference

and it's important to consider them right from the beginning

and at each step of a project.

These rules apply to graphics and UX Design

but also to technical aspects of the site

and editorial content.

So, it's obvious that all project team members

have a role to play…

Now, it's up to you.

Get trained. Raise awareness within your teams.

Identify the rules to be applied

and take them into account as best as you can…

And you'll see…

You will be proud to help build

a more inclusive information society.

Using FCPS-Approved Digital Resources at Columbia ES - Duration: 3:17.

Hello Fairfax County Public Schools. We're here at Columbia Elementary School with

principal Mike Cunningham and assistant principal Ms. Patel and all of the

wonderful office staff and students. And we're here with Maribeth Luftglass and

we're gonna look today at digital resources. You know Portrait of a Graduate is

about communication and collaboration skills and how are digital resources

really helping us advance portrait of a graduate and classrooms here Columbia.

So, let's go! Mike what do you want me to know before we go in about the digital resources

and what's going on in your elementary school. We're really excited to show you

that we were awarded a grant last year, through DIT. Yes. And this was a project that our staff wanted to do. To do create more

online resources for the kids and they're using it to create a book. Each

kid is creating a book on the seasons. Students are creators, not just

consumers of education, of technology, which is a great model.

Let's go take a look. Very good.

What are they working on here? What digital resource is this?

So, this is called Book Creator. It's one of our approved apps that they can use to add videos, they can draw, they can take

pictures, they can add audio. So these kids are all using all those media to

teach us about trees as they're doing their science unit. So they really can

create a book online? Yeah. And then they can print it out and make an e-book,

share with their parents. Oh, that's so powerful and you mentioned it's an approved app.

Why is the approval process of these sort of resources so important here

in Fairfax County Public Schools. We have great people in central

office who spend all their time making sure that they are secure, that they're not,

that the apps that we use are taking good care of the data, of our kids, they're

not sharing things they shouldn't, they're really good educational tools, they align

with our curriculum. So we want to make sure that we're using applications that

are the best for our kids both as far as educational value and security. So our

teachers, as you know, are very busy trying to make sure that they have all

the best tools. And one of the nice things about having a vetted process and

a vetted list of tools is that it saves them time and effort. We have to do a lot

of research on their own to make sure that they're safe and secure is one

thing that we can provide a value added to our teachers. One of the nice also

things that provide some consistency when students and teachers move

from one school to the next, they can see tools that they've already learned

how to use our school-based technology specialists, our wonderful SBTS here,

is able is able to teach our teachers how to use these various what these various

tools so there's some consistency and professional development and consistency

with our schools and what our teachers are learning how to use.

So if I'm new to Fairfax County Public Schools as a new teacher or I'm a veteran teacher,

but I'm not particularly technology savvy, where do I start to really know

where these approved digital resources are?

So FCPS, in partnership with information technology and instructional services, developed an FCPS Digital

Ecosystem site. So they can look for that on the website. They can also find it on

their browser. So all of our teachers on their laptops have the FCPS Digital

Ecosystem automatically linked on their browsers anytime they go on your

computer they can find those resources very easy. Fantastic. Thanks for all that

you're doing and for your system leadership, Maribeth when making this

happen for teachers in the classsroom. We're excited! Very good.

ELRC 2507 Digital Story: The Water Cycle - Duration: 2:19.

Today we are going to learn about the fascinating water cycle. Water is an important part of the Earth.

It's all around us! Even more fascinating is that it is always moving around us.

It has its own cycle that has been working for billions of years!

Throughout the water cycle water is constantly changing shapes. Water can take on the form of liquid, vapor and ice.

Something important to remember is that the Sun is the driving factor of the water cycle!

The first step of the water cycle is precipitation! Precipitation is when water is released from clouds and various forms.

Precipitation can come in various forms.

It can be either be freezing rain, sleet, snow or hail.

When precipitation Falls as snow it can form ice caps or glaciers.

Ice caps and glaciers can store water for thousands of years.

But most precipitation falls as rain into the ocean or onto land where it will flow as runoff due to gravity.

But the water never stops moving!

The next step in the water cycle is evaporation. This is where water changes from liquid to vapor!

Evaporation is where the sun shines!

Evaporation needs heat in order for it to happen.

During evaporation, water is being transferred from the ocean as a liquid to the clouds as a vapor.

Did you know that the oceans, lakes, and seas provide nearly 90 percent of the moisture and our atmosphere through evaporation?

After liquid water has become vapor, it now belongs to the clouds. This is the third step of the water cycle; condensation.

Condensation is the crucial part of the water cycle because it is responsible for the formation of clouds.

It is the opposite of evaporation.

Condensation produces different types of clouds as well.

This picture shows a cumulonimbus cloud.

After the condensation the water cycle starts all over again!

There is no beginning or end of the water cycle since it is constantly happening!

The water cycle is an important part of our Earth's atmosphere! Look outside, can you tell what stage the water cycle is in right now?

Amazing Cornish Makers: Falmouth University Digital Print Bureau - Duration: 4:25.

My name is Freya Moses and I am the Senior Technician for printed

textiles so I cover screen printing but obviously also cover digital print as

well. We're in the digital print room and so basically this houses our two large

format digital printers and it's sort of central within fashion and textiles,

obviously we share this building with four of their courses. So this is our

shiny new Mamaki printer so we're very lucky to have this it's a year old so it

is, you know, top of the range and it's partly industrial, but also used for

educational printing, but it can print, you know, sort of 10, 12 metre lengths

at a time. It prints with reactive dyes so it's the more high-end way of

printing textiles, which is obviously what we want on textiles you know we

want to print kind of the best we can. So the dyes that we use, they only work on

natural fabrics, so we can print on cottons,

silks, wool, jerseys, you know, all those sorts of things and so we've got a huge

range of fabrics I think we've got about 25 at the moment and but we're also open

for requests as well, if there's a particular fabric somebody wants, you

know, pop-up we can negotiate, talk about it and see if it's something that we can

offer, but yeah so we've got obviously got two printers and but this is our

main one that we use just because it's the newest one and you can kind of print

quicker, the quality's amazing and so yes we're very pleased, very pleased with our

new printer. So we're really, really keen for local businesses, makers to come up

and just look at the process look at the printers, local makers are outsourcing

because most of the companies that offer this a kind of thing are up north, like

Macclesfield, London all of that and it's quite anonymous you send off your file

and then you kind of get what you're given, but you don't see the process and

I'm a designer, so when I design textiles for digital printing I'll design them in

a much different way to if I were screen printing it, because I know the process

so I think it's so important for all of the makers to know how this works

because I think it will inform their designing a lot,

we also kind of educate as well so of course they can come up watch the stuff

print, anything like that, we can obviously accommodate. I think what makes

us a bit different to bigger kind of setups is that we can print very small

samples so rather than having to have you know a minimum of 1 metre, 2 metre

printing I could do a minimum of half a metre 30 centimeters you know so we can

offer. I think printing that's more appropriate

for kind of smaller makers people that are starting out wanting to prototype

new products, our lead time as well is a lot shorter, so we're sort of working on

like a week kind of lead time so I think basically we can kind of offer an

opportunity for small businesses or local makers designers it's almost trial

stuff with us and yeah if they wanted like I mentioned before 10 meters of a

fabric that's absolutely fine but we couldn't print huge you know amounts of

fabric so if someone's wanting 50 metres, we wouldn't be able to do that with the

setup that we have, so I think we can offer and it would be for sort of you

know maybe mid level you know from small to mid level kind of designers makers.

I'm really sorry I can't be there at the amazing Cornish makers event today but

I'm really excited to be able to share with you what we can offer you with our

digital print Bureau here at Falmouth University if you've got any questions

if you would like to come up and have a look at what we do we've got a Facebook

page which is digital print bureau for Cornwall and we've also got an Instagram

page which is fowl digital print. Thank you!

Digital audit - Duration: 2:56.

Hi I'm Gemma and I'm Morag, and we're here today to tell you a little bit more

about what we at Audit Scotland have been doing about the use of technology in the

Scottish public sector. Digital is a fundamental part of our everyday lives,

and it offers the ability to really transform how public services are

delivered, to redesign services to make them more efficient and effective and to

deliver better outcomes for the citizens of Scotland. There are now some really

great examples of how digital has transformed services. At UK level you can

now renew your passport by taking your own photograph, applying online and

waiting for the text message to tell you when that passport is going to hit the

door mat. People living in remote areas of Scotland can now have an online video

conference consultation with their GP when physical access to the surgery

might be more difficult. The Scottish public sector spends at least 800

million pounds every year with digital technology companies and it's our job

at Audit Scotland to make sure that we get the best value for that money. We've been

looking at digital programmes across the public sector for a number of years now

and what we've found is that these organisations are facing the same

challenges and difficulties. That's why in 2017 we decided to bring out

our digital principles which was looking at common themes that organisations are

facing and we didn't just look at the Scottish public sector we also looked

across the world as well for examples. We came up with five key principles that

organisations should should think about when they're undertaking digital

programmes. These include the importance of planning and making sure you

understand what they're trying to do; also the importance of having the right

decision-making processes in place, and also the importance of strategic

oversight and recognising the role that the Scottish Government has to play in

this. We're planning a series of focussed audits looking at how digital

technology is used across the Scottish public sector. We're working on an audit

which will publish in summer 2019 looking at how the Scottish Government

is showing leadership in enabling digital technology across the public

sector. We last looked at what the Scottish Government was doing around

digital technology back in 2015 where we reported on the new assurance

arrangements that they were putting in place to give them better oversight and

control over digital programmes across central government, and we also reported

on how they were starting to create a pool of expertise and specialist skills

within the Scottish Government that other smaller bodies who don't have

those skills in-house could get access to, to help them with their digital

programmes. We're really interested to go back and see how effective these

programmes have been and to see what other initiatives the Scottish

Government are showing leadership on for the rest of the public sector.

Digital is a fundamental part of how organisations operate now so we will be

looking at digital through our work programme. This includes through our

local audit work and also other reports, for example our health and social care

integration report and our overview reports. We've got our digital e-hub where

you can find out more information. We'll be back in the future to share more with you then.
