this situation.

Clients are looking for domain and technology expertise, Cognizant has got that.

Digital Dangers - Personal Data - Duration: 2:01.

I'm special agent Dennis Fetting with Homeland Security Investigations. We

investigate crimes on the Internet. I want to keep you and your child safe

from digital dangers. What I want to focus on is the type of data that we give away

on social media every day and so that is things like geolocation checking in. So

when your children go to their favorite restaurant or they go to a park or they

go on a field trip and they use social media to broadcast that and check in

from that location they are sharing with the world basically where they are and

what they're doing where they go to school. The other thing that kids need to

think about is the clothes that they wear the things that are in the

backgrounds of their pictures. If I see your child online wearing their school's

basketball jersey for example I now know where your child goes to school what

sport they play. I can find out that schedule. Another thing that I want to

talk about is metadata and so metadata is basically invisible or hidden

information that's buried inside of pictures and videos that are taken off

of our children's smartphones tablets and so when I talk about that hidden

information what I'm talking about is in every picture that your child's iPhone

or Android phone takes there is digital information buried in that

picture so that is things like exact GPS location date and timestamp. The problem

is and what parents need to be aware of is that it's very easy to extract

metadata out of a picture. There are free apps and paid apps on the iTunes Store

or Google Play right now that pull metadata out of

photos and so the huge vulnerability for kids is if I'm a child and I take a

picture of myself and I text that to a stranger that stranger can now extract

that data out of that picture and find out exactly where I took that picture

and exactly when I took that picture. That is true personal information that

we are giving away as adults and children on social media. To report

mentor con tus campañas y acciones y te

ayude a tener un segundo punto de vista

vale y entonces una vez tengas la tienda

vendiendo que estoy montando ahí sí es

muy importante las fotos de seis y te

diría que ten cuidado es mucho la

fotografía de las piezas porque al final

es lo que va a vender en la tienda

online como entonces hacer fotos

profesionales buenas ahí es muy

importante eso es un dependiente que lo

venda es que es muy importante porque

muchas veces no se trabaja bien la

tienda online y estás invirtiendo en

derivar tráfico de publicidad en

facebook google y no convierte bien y es

por eso porque al final tú piensa que si

yo voy a tu tienda física comprar una

pieza tú me vas a recomendar a alguien

de tu equipo mejoró y juan mira tengo

esta pieza me lo vas a vender pero la

tienda online ahí vendiendo entonces

tienes que vender con imágenes con

textos y con vídeos en todo caso espera

y si es importante una cosa sobre todo

porque estáis empezando es decir si

crees en contenido guardar una reserva

de inversión para publicidad para

promocionarse contenido porque a día de

hoy lo que os vais a encontrar cuando

crees un canal de youtube es que no hay

muy poca gente va a ver su contenido

porque al final lo que es la visibilidad

orgánica retira de no pago

lleva mucho tiempo conseguir la entonces

todo lo que publicase

utilizar publicidad digital para ponerlo

delante de quien sea vuestro posible

cliente idea y llevarlo a la tienda que

compre el silbido recomendaciones eso es

eso es potentísimo y como redes las que

tú has dicho yo creo que facebook i y ii

twitter digo perdón a instagram son las

más potentes para vosotras mucho más que

cualquiera si primero definir muy bien

quién es el público a quien quiere

impactar porque cuando tengas que

segmentar la publicidad tener muy claro

quiénes rango de edad hombre mujer que

gustos e intereses que localización va a

tener si sólo ves a vender en aruba o en

más sitios decida hacer muy bien esa

segmentación

eso está muy bien es decir busca todas

las colaboraciones al principio para mí

vos objetivo no debe ser vender debe ser

dar a conocer la marca los productos

aunque eso te cueste dinero si no os

preocupéis al principio de vender

conseguir que la gente conozca la marca

conozcan los productos con

colaboraciones no os preocupéis que

cuando eso ya está conseguido empezar es

incrementar las ventas entonces toda

colaboración que veas que os puede dar

visibilidad a la marca

hazlo sin lugar a dudas es saber tendría

que pedirle permiso realmente decir si

quieres usar algún vídeo en un canal

tuyo los una cosa es que lo compartas

compartir lo puedes hacerlo siempre y

cuando con comparta su fuente original

es decir si tú ves este este vídeo en en

facebook y le das a asear a compartir

puedes hacerlo lo que no puedes hacer es

descargar de ese vídeo y subirlo atufa a

tu página de fans eso no podías hacerlo

vale es que eso es clave te lo digo

porque al final estamos hablando de una

marca premium entonces cuando tú vas a

comprar algún tipo de vehículo ya sea

porque al final todos los portales

minutos el primer contacto firme menos

de 45 minutos sé que esto suena loco

pero al final cuando hemos medido las

conversiones a ventas en distintos

sectores cuando bajamos los tiempos de

primera respuesta no hay color

si disparas absolutamente todo porque

piensa que cuando tú solicitas

presupuesto a un coche de cualquier cosa

quién te responde rápido de la sensación

de eficiencia

entonces ya te estás ganando al cliente

por lo que yo trabajaría en establecer

primeros protocolos que permitan interna

tener unos tiempos de respuesta por

debajo de 45 minutos siempre en horario

comercial

obviamente y ahí lo que te puedes muchas

veces apoyar lo que hacemos es con

sistemas de automatización de marketing

y ganas lo que haces es comprar tiempo

para que el usuario luego diga qué bien

me ha atendido e importante en eso que

es usuario sea real explicó porque

muchas veces hay gente que contesta eso

y hay empresas que el queso si bien no

llevan a ningún sitio y otras te

descubren pero si bien tiene que estar

conectado con esa persona que si alguien

responde tú lo reciba sigas este usuario

ha contestado sí ayuda a facebook es

ayudar en la confianza y conversión yo

se lo digo si yo voy a comprar un coche

cada vez más gente miramos más allá de

la empresa decir yo he visto eso veo tu

web

pero voy a ver tus redes sociales cuando

entra en tu web y veo tu facebook y si

yo veo que tu facebook está sin

actualizar desde hace tiempo

a mí eso me genera desconfianza puedes

vender el mejor coche pero a mí eso me

está dando de este concesionario es

ayuda a todo eso temas de whatsapp

marketing funciona muy bien y para

vosotros puede ser brutal

lo que pasa que si te diría que meterte

en eso sin tener establecida bien una

base sería una auténtica locura y es un

canal que va a hacer más daño que ayudar

genial pues yo cuanto antes de empezar

ya porque además como sea esto es un

proceso que lleva tiempo esto no son

tres meses al final éstos son años es

empezar a trabajar y depurando el

transformado un poco todo quiero conocer

Hi! I'm Alejandra and I'm a Digital Media Buyer here at BPD.

So a few things about me... I was born in Puerto Rico, I love adventures and I

recently spent a week at a hobbit house in northern Washington... and I am also a

little bit of a goofball. People think immediately when I say "digital media buying" that I

build websites... that I do Facebook and by Facebook, that it's all the posts that they see,

that build websites. But really, I build and strategize campaigns. I execute campaigns and the

way I explain that to my nephews is basically all the games and everything

that they play on their tablets... on their phone, those little interruptive ads that

come in between there... that's me! So if you want to get into digital

marketing two things you definitely need to know is to be a self-starter and to

know your Excel. And it doesn't hurt if you can market yourself a little bit. So

you might be wondering why I'm wearing all these hats... I love to travel and

every time I go on my travels I try to get a new outfit or hat to blend in and

some of the other places that I'm looking forward to going to include

Machu Picchu in Peru Tokyo and Nepal's going to the Everest Base Camp.

rings, an astronaut, and two UFOs.

So what that means is we gonna strip them down and we can also make them more complicated we can minimize it but um

Now let's just go over customizing the toolbar

But let's go ahead and actually do this now so if we click on this you can see we have an edit toolbar, okay

So let's go ahead and pop this open

Now how this works is two things

This first box here is your toolbar

This is essentially the toolbar that's on your left side, so let me just pull this up here a little closer

So you can see them side by side

So what you see here is what you're going to see over here, okay?

When you see them grouped in sections like this. This is telling you. What is going to be?

inside of that

Initial tool the tools that are going to sit up underneath

Extra tools, this is where we're just clicking on the three dots so when you click on that if

There's a tool that I want it to sit inside of here. Let's just say for example. I wanted a magic eraser in there

Let's just say history brush

Anything that I want to sit within that small section

And I don't want them to sit inside of this large section you drag and drop right here, okay?

You can also once you have all of this set up. You can go ahead and hit save preset

You can hit restore defaults if you want to go backwards you can also hit clear tools

What this will do is if you look to the top left all we have right now

Extra tools there's nothing really in the toolbar yet, so what you would have to do is come over here and manually drag

the tools that you will want

To sit inside your toolbar, okay?

This is the main idea okay, you're gonna drag over

If you drag on top it drags so that it will sit underneath

So let's see and let me just show you again you put it right on top see that little blue line and

That allows you to drop underneath, okay?

So if you continue to go through this whole process let me just show you you can hit a save preset

You can save this to desktop just gonna call this and again. I typically would be something like rebels

Test and actually I'm gonna do underscore trash because I'm not gonna use this

I just remind myself later on to get rid of it

Hit save and now I'll have that on the desktop if I needed it. Okay what I had done

Now you'll see I have tools here if I click on this right here

This will show me full access of all the other tools now right now. I made something this really

not user friendly, but it was just a demonstrate point of how to

If you go back in here and a tool bar

Restore defaults and it sets everything right back to the basic default

Digital Accessibility - Fonts, Color, and Color Contrast - Duration: 6:07.

In designing a course with digital accessibility in mind, some of the first

considerations are fonts, color, and color contrast. So how do you ensure that a

font is accessible? You always want to select a sans-serif font. The image in

this slide shows a serif font on the left. You can see the extra ink strokes

at the ends of the letter, while the "F" on the right is very simple with no extra

marks. The sans serif font on the right makes reading easier for all users. When

designing digital materials, it is important to know your fonts. Some of the

best sans serif fonts are: Arial, Calibri, Lucida Sans, Tahoma, Trebuchet MS, and

Verdana. Notice that these are all sans serif fonts - fonts with no extra ink

strokes. Another consideration in designing with accessibility in mind is

the font size. Even though users have an option of reducing or enlarging text

size themselves, the minimum standard font size for documents should be 12.

This standard is for a typical document. In this PowerPoint presentation a font

of 12 would be way too small. For a PowerPoint presentation your minimum

font size should be 24. Why don't you go ahead and set your default font to be an

accessible font and font size? That way you don't have to worry about font

or font size for any of your newly created documents. To set a default font

and font size, under the <Home> tab and just to the bottom right below the

letter "A," click on the small arrow. You will see this screen under this <Font> tab.

Select your default options. Choose one of the accessible fonts; choose regular

for font style, a font size of 12, and a font color of

black. Then click on the set as default button. Click on the button that says "All

documents based on the Normal template" and then press the "OK" button. Now every

time you create a new document these will be your defaults. What is color

contrast? It's the difference between two colors. If there is insufficient contrast

between colors, text can be difficult or almost impossible to read. In this

example it is easy to determine which colors provide high contrast and which

provide low contrast. You can also see that if the text is smaller the low

contrast makes reading even more difficult, so the size makes a difference

as well. How can you check the color contrast to assure that the color

contrast meets accessibility guidelines? There's a downloadable program that you

can use to check your color contrast. Just use the link address on this slide.

Don't depend on your own vision to decide if the color contrast is

acceptable unless you use black text on a white background which is always safe.

Once you've downloaded the color contrast analyzer, it is easy to check

your colors. You just click on the eyedropper on the left and then move the

appear in the box on the left. Repeat this process for your background color.

The result will be clearly indicated in the boxes. If the results don't pass at

all 4 levels, just go ahead and choose better colors. You can see that in this

example of low contrast text, the color contrast test fails at every level. This

would not be an appropriate color combination for any content.

Another consideration related to color is accessibility for people with color

vision differences. Consider the following assignments. The

due dates are indicated in red and blue. The assignments for tomorrow are

indicated in red, and the assignments for Monday are shown in blue. The problem

with this assignment is that a person who is colorblind might see the

assignments, but not the colors. How will a student with colorblindness

be able to understand this assignment?

Color should not be the only way that you convey information. You don't have to

eliminate color from your documents. You just have to understand that using

colors should not disadvantage a student. With this revised assignment, all

students can determine when the assignments are due. If you want to

stress information, as in this example, use a color that meets the color

contrast analyzer guidelines, and also make it bold, so that everyone knows that

the information is important. Now you know how to use fonts, color, and color

contrast in your classes. Your digital content does not have to be boring. You

can still use color; you just want to be sure that the use of color does not

hinder understanding. Proper use of fonts and color helps all of us. The focus of

the reader should be on content, not on the ability to see the content
