Self worth - Isaac Santana - Duration: 7:38.

perhaps at some point in the past you remember taking exams that evaluate and

measure your self-esteem and personality as kids we were constantly reminded by

teachers and parents that having high self esteem was very important

they said that we must appreciate and consider ourselves a special they only

said that but we were never taught what that meant the word self esteem has been

defined misused and modified by many people but I believe the best way to

look at it is by calling it self-worth many will define self esteem as

self-admiration others will say that having high self esteem gives you the

satisfaction over the basis of nothing however you put this term it all comes

back to one single factor you self-worth implicates how you treat yourself how

you cherish yourself in a healthy way and how you contribute to making the world a

better place of course by discussing the concept of self worth we also must

define what self esteem implies it is undoubtedly influenced by yourself worth

however they are not the same but what's the difference

self esteem is primarily built upon sources outside of yourself that you

don't actually control how do you feel about yourself is heavily influenced by

how do you think your fairing compared to others in other words, your self esteem is

derived from what you think others think of you based on your results and

actions on the other hand, self-worth is an inner state that comes from self

understanding, self-love and self-acceptance it has power to

transform our lives for the better this state is timeless and unchanging

because it's a direct measure of how we value and regard ourselves despite what

others may say or do this isn't, therefore, something fickle that changes easily

due to external factors or circumstances to have high level of self-worth means

accepting yourself wholeheartedly at all times despite your flaws weaknesses and

limitations it's about recognizing the real value of who you are right here

right now at this present moment having high level of self-worth is crucial but

how do we accomplish such thing I presume we can talk about five different

steps to do just that step number one understand yourself how do you perceive

yourself how do you talk about yourself and how do you represent yourself

eventually become the reality for you nevertheless if you exaggerate your

talents and skills you will come across as arrogant and egotistical this is not

about over valuing your self-worth, but about making yourself see through the

insecurities recognize that you are a valuable person in that your talents and

thoughts are unique and worthy step two overcome the fear to self-love

self-love is often on a scale with narcissism and egotism this is partly

because people often misunderstand the definition of love and what it actually

implies healthy self-love is all about being your own best friend is not about

praising yourself all the time and all day long and permanently announcing how

great you are rather self-love is about treating yourself with the same care

tolerance in generosity and compassion as you will treat a special friend step

3 trust your gut feeling self-worth requires you to listen and rely on your

own feelings not automatically respond to the feelings of others when you learn

to do this you will learn how to better follow your heart's desires why is this

important because self-worth plummets when we let others make decisions for us

at first this may seem like the easy route and free of hard choices

whereas we grow when we make our own decisions and we evolve when we face

every outcome we receive step 4 rebuild yourself discover what your real talents

are and write them down talents our innate abilities that differ from skills

which have to be worked on to perfect them focus on discovering and perfecting

your strengths and stop thinking too much about your weaknesses you've

probably done that long enough already give yourself a break from negativity

and start thinking in one aspect of your life you can make the most of your

strengths step 5 self denial we have come to the last step now is when it

means serious business in this step we get to face reality and gather courage

to change the things we can and the strength to accept the things we cannot

change here we take full responsibility for our lives for our circumstances and

for our problems and I don't mean we'll play the victim game rather we must

acknowledge that yes of course we have problems we are flawed circumstances

happened and mistakes were made we've failed miserably and there are

things that we are not proud of forgive yourself and forgive others for

everything that occurred in the past learn to love yourself unconditionally

without any judgment or excuses this is you and you are being vulnerable authentic

and real. embrace who you are fully and wholeheartedly embrace the fact that you

will no longer allow outside forces to define you only in this way you will

finally let go of everything that's been holding you

back all these years there is no more complaining blaming judgment or excuses

you fully trust yourself and your abilities to forge and mold your destiny

you may now find yourself walking a lonely path towards yourself discovery but

holds strong if others become distant perhaps it's for the best

we must let go of toxic people in order to move forward you won't walk along

forever with your new power you will become phenomenal and you will attract

phenomenal

Self-Care Break (5 mins) | Mindfulness | Self-compassion | Guided Meditation - Duration: 5:26.

Hi, I'm Lyndi and this is a self-care break. This practice is the kind of

practice we can just pop into a busy day and spend a few minutes taking care of

ourselves and giving ourselves some compassion and kindness.

Each phase of the practice

spells the acronym S.N.A.C.K.

and I'll be guiding you through it, so

just inviting you to find a comfortable, upright sitting position... perhaps you're

preferring to stand or lie down and we'll get started. So the S of this

Self-Care SNACK invites us to stop and self-care... permission to stop. We might

like to explore using a reassuring touch, like a rub on the arm or a hand on the

heart... or a hand on the tummy...

so exploring a gesture that works for us, and seeing if we can just rest in that

warmth and contact for a moment,

taking a couple of nice, easy soothing breaths...

with a sense of letting go on the out-breath perhaps...

The N of this Self-Care SNACK invites us to notice. So first noticing physical

sensations, perhaps noticing contact between the feet and the floor, for

instance... noticing any emotions... I'm feeling mostly calm with a little edge of

nervousness maybe in there...

noticing thoughts...

I'm noticing the thought I wonder how this is coming across...

In the next phase we Accept or Allow whatever we're feeling, whatever we're

thinking, as best we can. We might like to give ourselves a bit of

silent self-talk in a phrase such as "It's okay to feel this" ...even if we're

feeling resistance: "It's okay to feel some resistance."

The next phase is Common humanity so this phase reminds us we're not alone,

everybody feels like this at times and again you might like to use some

self-talk with a phrase such as "Everybody feels like this sometimes."

The K of our Self-Care SNACK stands for Kindness... taking a moment to really show

ourselves a little kindness both through our touch, but also perhaps formulating a

phrase of self-talk again such as "May I be kind to myself in this moment,"

and really letting that land on our hearts

...and finally we can rest in those kind feelings that we've connected with, or

perhaps rest in this soothing touch or by taking a couple of soothing breaths

again.

And with that, we've reached the end of this short Self-Care Break.

Now we can carry on with our day perhaps feeling a little bit refreshed or

accepting or warmer inside.

HOW TO MAKE A MANGA PART 4 [The Publishing Phase: Traditional, Self-Publishing, or Webcomic?] - Duration: 15:35.

In the previous episodes of this series

I talked to you about how I

Outline my manga story how I draw the pages or draw off the pages and my process for inking the manga page in

Today's video which will be the final video of this how to make a manga series

I'm going to be talking to you about how you publish that manga

I'm going to be talking to you about the various publishing methods that you can use to publish your manga such as traditional publishing

self-publishing or

Uploading your manga as a webcomic

If you're new to my channel, hi welcome. My name is Manette cross

I am currently in the process of making a single volume manga titled having faith and

You're gonna hear me talk a lot about this throughout this video series or you would have heard about it before

But I am also in the process of a manga series title reflects your time

Which I have been working on since I was about 13

when you're looking at publishing your manga you have to also consider the difficulty of getting that manga published and

It's a lot to think about but it's definitely something that you do have to consider

Obviously if you're not a Japanese artist or author living in Japan

It's very difficult to get your manga published by normal manga publishers. So you're probably going to be looking more at

Graphic novel publishing companies if you're interested in publishing your manga with the traditional method

Even if you are in Japan, it's obviously very very difficult

there is a lot of competition and

The judging that it takes to choose whether something gets into print or not is very very strict in

Saying that there are a few

manga American publishing companies and

Graphic novel companies that you can try and send your manga to to see if they will publish it or if they can give you

Some tips to help you get that manga published first up. I'm going to be talking about some of those particular companies in today's video

one particularly popular English

Manga company is Saturday am now you probably have heard of it with artists such as whyt manga

Saturday aam is a great place to start if you are looking for a place to publish your manga because they have a

diverse range of

Primarily Chernin, but they also have shown shoujo manga. So it is definitely a company to consider sending your manga to

just see what they say about it what the publishing rules and

Regulations are but it is definitely worth considering when you get to that stage of your manga you

Could also try sending your work to Tokyo pop

Tokyopop is more of a distinct manga company

But they do stand out. There is a lot of manga that is published by Tokyopop

So the rules might be quite strict with getting it published with Tokyo pop

But they publish a diverse range of manga

particularly English language manga

So it is the perfect place to start if you want to try a more manga focused company particularly for more shoujo manga

You also have this media now just keep in mind this is a massive company they are huge

They published shoulder beat and shounen jump titles in English

It publishes titles from Japan in English

But if you look out for contests and publishing opportunities, you may have a chance of getting your manga published by them

But just understand that since their company is so large

it is much more difficult to be published by them, but do follow their social media because they do sometimes have

competitions for original manga

submissions and that goes for both shojo beat end shounen jump

So just keep an eye on that company

Because you never know when an opportunity may arise where you could show your manga to the world

You may also have a bigger chance by looking at comic and graphic novel publishers

Dark Horse Comics is one really good example that you can try

Another good thing about Dark Horse Comics is that they always accept submissions

There is a place on the website where you can look for details about email addresses and other places where you can submit your work

If

You are an Australian like me you may have heard of Gestalt comics

I just want to mention them because they accept submissions as well. I'm not sure if they accept submissions from American

residents, but it is definitely worth considering their work is more comic themed and

More for a younger audience, but it is definitely a place to consider the submission types change all the time

But if you keep an eye out, you may find something that you were looking for

Benefits to having your manga published traditionally by an actual publisher is that you will get a lot more exposure for your manga

These companies have a much broader reach and audience which means your work will be shown to a much larger

Selection of people not to mention they can also help you with editing and formatting your work for publishing

regulations

Plus with the prop publishing process you would also get a proper editor to be able to look over your work

So it would make your whole manga or graphic novel or comic completely publishing ready?

The cons of that in a lot of cases they do have more control over your manga or comic or graphic milieu

You get the idea they have control over the direction of your story the art

Basically everything that you have created they have a lot of control over that

I'm not sure if it's that for all companies, but I know in a lot of cases it is

They can decide exactly what gets published

What dozens how many pages your manga have and in many cases?

They won't involve you in the decision making regarding what goes on with your graphic novel or manga

They'll be the ones to make those decisions because ultimately they'll have control over your story

Plus from what I have heard

You won't make much money doing it this way unless you sell a whole lot of copies

You won't make that much money because the publishing company has to take their cut of the royalties

it is also very hard for your manga to get into that industry to begin with but just

Consider those pros and cons as you are considering this publishing method

Now, let's talk about self-publishing over

Liesl publishing is a much better method

If you want to keep control of the direction of your story your are and basically keep the whole credits form

Self-publishing means you have complete control over the story and the art and everything about your manga

one place that comes to mind that solely helps self publishers print manga is print ninja

You are able to customize every part of your manga yourself by your own choice, which is really awesome

And you can also get samples to test it first

Obviously, I have not tried this company myself, but it's definitely something to look into if you are considering self-publishing

You can also publish it through Amazon

You don't get to keep all the royalties your cell phone

But it is easy to use and you can get your manga out to the world really really quickly and easily so it's definitely worth

considering

There is also Lulu's self-publishing which you have probably heard from

Self-published novel writers and other writers because they publish all kinds of work

I have actually seen books

Self-published through Lulu and they always look really good quality as if they were published by a traditional publisher

You get to have control over the whole design of your manga or book. So it is really really good

Ingram's spark has a particular place for publishing graphic novels

Specifically they also publish various types of other books

Many other self-publishing companies and companies more specifically for manga graphic novels or comics

But the ones I have mentioned are the main ones or larger companies the benefits for self-publishing are the fact that you have complete control

Over your manga or project you have complete control over the whole thing

You can decide how much money you want to put on a per book

You can also decide the cover the artwork and the whole style of your manga

The royalty rates are great and you very quickly can have your manga published. There's no long. Wait, which comes with getting it published

By our traditional publisher and it's easy sir. Anyone can do it

The cons are that you have to do all the marketing for your book yourself

you're going to have to work really really hard to get yourself published book out there because in an

industry where they more accept published books by traditional publishers

You're going to have to work really hard to make sure that your self-published book gets noticed

it is very very difficult to break into the publishing industry when you've got a

Self-published book so you have to be prepared to fight for your book

So in saying that you may not get much exposure for your man girl

Plus you're not going to have an editor unless you

Specifically pay for one to format and correct your work and make it publishing ready. So that's also something to keep in mind

the third option I want to talk to you today in today's video is

webcomic

Uploading your manga as a webcomic is probably by far the easiest

Method to get your manga out there and let it get exposure

Not only can you publish and upload your manga on websites like Debian are and tumblr but there are other more specific

Webcomic sites where you can upload it and try and get readers

One of the most famous and well-known places to publish web comics is tap tastic nicknamed

Kappas you can easily create an account and start sharing your webcomic instantly

There are many popular online artists who publish their web comics on tap tastic just because of how easy it is

Smoked jeans is another very popular place one cool thing about smash jeans is that they can help you create your very own website

Throw your manga or graphic novel, which is just amazing and the result looks so good

But you do have to consider that it does cost money to make that

Website with your manga, so just keep that in mind if you're looking at smack Jeeves

Line webtoon is another really good place

Webtoon has a great way of advertising your comic. So it is easier to get more exposure and readers on it

It is more popular in Korea, Japan and China

But it also has many

english-language comics

There are great opportunities for artists as well as things such as merchandise if your comic gets enough readers

There is also the duck which is a lesser-known place to publish your webcomic which may make it easy as you get

exposure on the website for that comic

The benefits of uploading your manga or graphic novel as a web comic is that you can instantly start getting readers

You have an easier chance of building a fan base and getting readers

The cons are that you're not going to make much money out of it if any on that

Webcomic because you're uploading it for free online

If you do want to make money on that manga, it may be worth considering uploading it for free online

But also having a self-published version where people can buy a hard copy of it

Another con is that if you do decide to update it regularly

instead of uploading the

Final version in one hit you might find it's very stressful

And if you get a lot of readers that are pushing you it might be a bit stressful to continue that webcomic the most

Important part is getting yourself and your work out there to the world. I'm sure

many published manga writers comic writers or graphic novelists would say the way to do that is such a straw and keep

drawing and a lot more extra chip

I just want to mention before I end this video

One really really important thing that might not seem that important at first is to gain popularity

for your manga online before it gets published wherever that may be if you have some social media or a

Website or at least a little bit of a following online

Publishers are much more likely to consider publishing your work then publishing the work of another author who they don't know much about

Who doesn't have much of a fan base?

If you do have a little bit of a following

They will think that the manga that you are working on may be something that is worth publishing

even if you do end up going down the webcomic method or the

self-publishing method try to get your work out there any way possible so having a little bit of a social media following is

Really really good. So just keep drawing and sharing your work and it'll definitely get to that point

It's creating a manga graphic novel or comic is really difficult and sometimes

Tiresome journey to make there are so many things involved in the process of making it and so much work goes into creating

you're going to have to be prepared to work sometimes years to make your dreams of being a writer a

Manga artist a graphic novelist a comic writer make them a reality

But if you continue to work steadily towards that goal. You will reach it

You will get you just have to continue working towards it no matter how long that takes

No matter how much you have to put into it man-up no matter how much time it takes

Keep working towards that goal until you can hold your finished manga in your hands and say I create it. This is what I do

Part 8 Self Approval Les Brown - Duration: 33:23.

self-approval that's a very challenging area now why is that challenging ladies

and gentlemen that's where most people get stuck an area of self-approval

that's a stage that a lot of people get there and they never move out of that

area why well for a variety of reasons many things can contribute to our not

approving our dream so I'm not feeling good enough a lot of things can

contribute to that many of us never live up to our potential or don't approve

ourselves because we've never had anybody to believe in us looking at some

of the things that keep us from approving ourselves that we've all done

some things that we don't feel good about things that if we had to do those

things over again we would not do those things or we would do things differently

so part of what we must do in order to begin to move into your greatness you

got to remove a major energy block and that is dealing with the issue of

forgiveness people that have hurt you someone who's done you wrong make a list

and things that you have done that you you feel bad about that you regret make

a list or maybe a time when you weren't a good father a good mother a good

brother or sister or you you were a bad child or you didn't do a good job or you

lied or you were dishonest so you stole no one knows this but you or something

you feel good about so you know it's a real dog in me to do that something you

just really regrets if we make a list of all those things all of us have some of

that which might say there is some good and the worst of us and some bad and the

best of us so none of us escaped now here's something I want you to do I want

you to become involved in an active process to get some clutter out of your

life so if there's any area in your life that you need to clean up start working

on it I'm going home tonight to clean my closets any of you got any cluttered

closet so raise your hand please good let's go home let that be our task

this week see the first law of the universe is order go home and clean the

closet out get the clutter out start letting some of this junk go to make

some room for something else do that with people there's some people whose

cluttering up your life they serve no purpose whatsoever they're just holding

and occupying the space that somebody useful positive nurturing and

contributing could be holding that space you'll even have time to look to see

what else is out there because you all have all of these people surrounding you

that's not in enabling you to grow so look at what is it I need to get out of

my life just start cleaning this stuff out getting the drawers together your

dresser drawer just getting stuff together just get them together maybe

your car got to clean my car too got a lot of stuff in that living my car you

know can't put anything in my trunk I got all kind of little things back there

two of my children back there in the trunk you know everything stuff

everywhere so I just say I say hey let me guess give this together see whatever

you have in your environment is a reflection of your consciousness so you

got all that chaos there that represents some disorganized cluttered section of

your mind so let's get all this out of there all right work to get that out

clean that up anybody that you feel very strongly about have some negative

feelings about let's look at some good reasons to forgive them number one you

must try and see what has happened or see things from that other person's

point of view let's look at it from their point of view that's that's one

area that's number one then number two holding a grudge hurts you it doesn't

hurt them so just for good health and peace of mind let it go any feeling of

resentment or anger or hatred is called to me the load of bitterness within

every thought that we entertain produces a chemical in our brain that impacts the

body's immune system and besides this person you're hating they probably are

not even aware of it if some place having a good time

don't even know you're really hating them you've turned up the steam loan

from this life to hate intense hate and here you are killing yourself making

yourself vulnerable to various types of illnesses putting yourself in bad health

and I say that person is not worth your sacrificing your health or one minute of

peace of mind one minute of anger robs you of 60 seconds of happiness so decide

it doesn't matter let it go and experience the dignity and the

magnanimous sense of character of being big enough to move on and get on with

your life letting it go so you can grow next step lack of self acceptance how

does it show up how does it manifest itself seeing with all of us have

greatness within us but when you don't come to grips with your greatness and

you don't work to develop it if you're not seeking it out if you're not finding

where it is if you're not trying to locate it if you're not experimenting

with your life to try and find out what's fits for you I'm saying that

you're positioning yourself to be a miserable person an unfulfilled person

how else do we do it procrastination we just put things off over and over and

over again why because we haven't accepted it

we don't feel deserving we don't feel that we're good enough so we sabotage

ourselves by not ever taking care of business we get real busy doing a lot of

things where we don't have any time well I'll never forget augmentee know in the

book called university of success is that many of us never ever discover our

greatness because we become sidetracked by secondary activity we start doing so

many things we just give our time away until we don't have any time for

ourselves or any time to do the things that we want to do and every time you

put it off and move it back well I'll do it one day oh yeah I'm going to get to

it I'm saying to you that one day you look around and there goes the year

there goes two years there goes three years so there's something you want to

do do it now do it right now don't put it off start right now

where you are there will never be a perfect ideal time whatever you have

going for you right now that's enough work on that idea work on it work on it

work on it another way in which it shows up and that is that because of the

relationships we form people we have around us thinking about two guys Larry

littles he went to bethune-cookman college he was the football player at

Booker T Washington High School where I graduated from Larry ended up playing

for the Miami Dolphins became an all-star or Offensive god great guy

Larry really wasn't the most talented guy in that position at boogity

Washington High School's guy named Willie Covington that was far more

talented he was stronger physically he was faster but Willie coming to never

ever made it out of high school while s he started running with the wrong crowd

big curve is what we called him start running with the wrong crowd and those

people led him to the penitentiary and ultimately to a premature death got the

word a few months ago he was shot and killed in Liberty City on 62nd Street

where I was born on the floor my twin brother named Willie Covington had great

talent great potential running with the wrong crowd watch out with the

relationships you have what kind of person are you becoming because of the

relationships that you have right now do those people contribute to you do they

help you grow and develop yourself what kind of person are you becoming people

who have not accept greatness for themselves these people don't study

ladies and gentlemen these people don't study they don't have time for personal

growth and development they don't have time to work on their minds no they

don't have time for that too busy for that people can affect this appears can

affect as our environment can affect us just working consciously to overcome the

comedy consciousness that I was raised in the feeling constantly of saying Les

Brown you deserve this there's no need for you to be afraid it's not too good

to be true it's true because you've earned it the old-fashioned way you have

worked for it but ever once in a while it comes up when I least expect it my

heart start beating fast and I start questioning myself and doubting myself

and I have to catch myself you've got to be consciously conscious

so let's look at how we can begin to evaluate our self-esteem our self

approval number one to determine the height of your self approval it's

important that you evaluate yourself because you know you quite well but it's

almost impossible to do it totally by yourself you must get some caring

feedback find somebody close enough to you that has observed you a bit around

you that you value their opinion and ask them how do they see you how do they

rate you in terms of your self esteem and then compare what you have with what

they say see there are things many times that people can see in us that we can't

see because it's a blind spot if I were to be talking to you and my breath is

offensive and you don't tell me and then I go around not only do you know

everybody else right here no and then when I'm walking toward people they say

oh let's not be right back you and I don't know why people say well last we

don't we thought you we want you to come to the party but you can't go now all

you have to do just tell me say less you need to goggle with some ammonia

something you know have you ever smelled someone's breath and didn't tell them

raise your hand if your dog does so so we all have those vibes but we have

those areas of our lives that we need to get some caring feedback we need some

coaching we need someone to let us know that and now why don't people just

volunteer that one they don't want to hurt your feelings one they don't want

to embarrass you but see there's some people you know you know they don't want

to hear it they're gonna argue with you they're gonna become defensive you one

of those people just decide to shut up and listen

next thing is a good barometer to check out how you feel about yourself is how

well you handle compliments when someone pays your compliment can you handle it

well lady was coming down the hall at least oh what a beautiful dress you have

a oh it's nothing I caught it on sales nothing no I didn't ask you did you get

that on sale I just it's a beautiful dress can you handle compliments well

that's a good barometer about your self-esteem can you handle quit

well can you give criticism next thing is what are your expectations what do

you expect to get from life what do you expect to get from your business what do

you expect to get from your relationships what is your ideal day

what is it that you expect from this experience this trip this journey that

you're involved in people that that have a strong sense of self approval they

have high expectations for themselves and from life and from others see a lot

of people don't expect much from life so they don't shoot for much they're not

preparing for much a lot of people just showing up in life a lot of people just

get up in the morning and they go through the day they go to the job just

to pull a check down watching the clock coming in so you want to be a different

kind of person as you followed your life you want to get something out of this if

you're going to do it it's worth your time your energy you've got some

expectations from this I do not let people waste my time so I want to meet

with meet with me it's accuse me what is this dealing with

I want to get to the bottom line because if it does not measure up to my

expectations I'm not going to invest my time I don't have the luxury to waste

time I'm expecting some great things from life and so I have to spend some

time working on myself and developing myself so examine your expectations

versus your wishes some people wish they could do better but some people expect

to do better were you on that next thing let's look at what are the things we can

do to increase our self approval our self appreciation our self acceptance

here's number one love yourself make caring for you the highest priority in

your life take care of you look out for what truly satisfies you we're not

taught to love ourselves we're not taught to look out for ourselves we're

not taught to take care of ourselves to become sensitive to our wants

to our needs our desires so make a conscious effort make you number one

priority your peace of mind your health is more important than your family and

any and everybody because if you don't have peace of mind if you don't have

your health you can't serve anybody don't neglect yourself a lot of us in

particularly ladies have been groomed to be sacrificial lambs putting their

dreams on the back burner in deference to their children's dreams or their

husbands dreams or their family's dreams and forget about themselves they become

resentful and angry and bitter so start taking care of yourself looking out for

you develop a health plan your health is all you got so start taking care of you

eating nutritious meals willing to exercise your body taking care of this

body loving yourself so do some good stuff for yourself on purpose take some

time out for you I have some good things I do for me one of the things I enjoy

that I do I take spiritual baths my assistant introduced me to someone

called sister Sarah who gave me my first spiritual bath and never heard of this

before she told me about it and I say come on come on Regina spiritual bath

and Sue my Secretary's husband named Larry he said a spiritual bath for fifty

dollars I give you a spiritual shower yeah but I play soft music I've taped

some of my favorite music I play burn a candle and I have different oils that I

put in the tub of hot water and I have flowers that I picked and I put I like

you know I saw coming to America you know what Eddie Murphy you know they

would sprinkle your little flowers on the ground right up so it gives me a

feeling of royalty so I I sprinkle these flowers in the water and I soak I like

doing that and I soak it sometimes I read or just relax and enjoy the music

and just cool out that's my time for me put the answering service on I just

cock sometime for me I'm into meditation been working and and exercising now just

doing some things for me taking care of myself mentally emotionally and

spiritually and physically you can't develop and manifest your greatness you

can't be a high achiever if you don't feel good you don't take care of

yourself so I'm taking care of me and then you're on it takes the edge off

your life it helps you to manage things rather than allowing them to manage you

gives you more personal power to deal with stuff take care of you now here's

something else I suggest for you become aware of what your needs are and develop

compassion towards yourself despite your human defects develop compassion for

yourself despite your human defects you will never be perfect

hello you will never be perfect you're human you've made a lot of mistakes

you've done a lot of dumb stupid things guess what you're not through yet

you're gonna do some more hurry up and get it over with

it's not right got to learn to be gentle with yourself make it alright what you

don't know the mistakes that you make it's okay

handle it learn from the experience

decide that you are going to whatever you become involved in to be upfront to

be true to yourself are you getting what you need out of it and be upfront with

people and tell them what you need from them don't assume that they know don't

say I thought you knew no tell people up front here's what I need from this in

order for this to work for me be upfront with your stuff tell them upfront so

they are not surprised later on so your feelings aren't hurt later on see if

they tell you upfront they can't do it now you know you can keep on stepping

but tell people upfront here's what I want in order for me to play this game

with you if we're gonna dance this is what I got

to get out of it see if you don't take care of your needs guess what you will

always have that nagging song in the back of your mind say well when do I get

mine what am I going to start enjoying this so we're going to have a good time

together do I get any noodles out of this at all

you're just not asking that question everybody's happening having a good time

but you isn't what we thought you were happy how could you think that way you

weren't saying anything well I'm saying something now hope you got that see

we're taught to be quiet and not speak up for ourselves and not to be selfish

if you don't take care of you what do you think is gonna take care of you

who's gonna look out for you better than you will no one no one's gonna do that

you got a business no one's gonna take care of your business better than you

nobody nobody anything you want to do in life you've got to take ownership of it

and say hey I'm gonna make this happen be willing to venture out and do

something that you have fantasized about doing and you know you probably won't be

good at it but do it anyhow case in point I have always wanted to say I've

always wanted to do that I'm going to sing a song and if I don't do nothing

but just a few lines chances all

now I might not be a loop of Vandross you know on Andy Williams you know but

it might be a little Perry Como up in there a little math is in that kinkow

next thing is avoid people and situations that upset you hello see

there are some people that know just how to push your button they know just what

to say so you know I don't even deal with them I just serve or excuse me

hey um I want to talk about something I understand excuse me I'll be right back

here now you might call that cowardly but I'm not going to expend any energy

arguing with anybody life is too short ladies and gentlemen and unpredictable I

don't want to spend my time arguing with anybody so I avoid situations that will

get me upset I don't argue with people I bought things I don't look at movies

that that frightened me last fright movie I saw was the Exorcist I never saw

another one after that I never forget going home at that time I was married

and I was blowing the horn going up into the driveway I said open the door

I pull up over the door to get out and it's all love together sigh blowing the

horn my wife said unfasten your seat belt fool I said oh alright that movie

scared me out of my wits so I don't look at scary movies I'm one of the people

little scared movie like this tell me tell me what's happening now ten what's

up I threw popcorn all over everybody that

girl is spitting on those people I don't do that no no no no no sorry that I

slept in the house of lights on all over the house for two weeks I was

embarrassed but your children said daddy turned myself No

so I don't do I just avoid things I go see comedies I love Danny DeVito and

Steve Martin I like things that make me laugh make me feel good but like the

little boy in me life is just too serious here's something else that can

help to increase your self-esteem draw the line ladies and gentlemen there are

certain things that we just go through life just taking and at some point you

just got to draw the line and just say enough is enough you got to do that with

yourself just draw the line you know see when I manage my food choices I get

on scale every day but I get to a certain level that's a crisis level I

just get down start doing setups right this

depressed look hey right away if I if my income drop to a certain level I go

crazy I start working like you see this callus on my ear you see that callous

right there that's how that countless got there yeah my income drop and I made

200 calls a day as punishment don't you ever let this happen again

because I'll never never never be broke again so you got to draw a line you just

got a drunk there's certain things that you just don't permit if you got

negative people in your life just once - look here I was talking to someone who

loved very much ahead of just dynamic relationship with us look here I can't

grow from that if you persist in and saying those kind of things to me I'm

saying to you right now I won't tolerate that

and I will terminate this because I'm not going to expose myself to this type

of humiliation I don't like that I don't like to get in calling names and putting

each other down like that come back to them I'm sorry

no I won't get it so you put a nail in a hole you make that impression you pull a

nail out that mark is still there that's not for God we can't subtract that from

the record so don't don't say that to me so we were talking about something else

person said again boom you'll loser very good and you are too because you just

lost a very good friend I don't choose to be around you anymore and that was it

I say that's cold maybe it is but I get people out of my life that aren't good

for me one negative stroke is 16 times more powerful than a positive stroke and

if you have people around you who are not sensitive to who you are and the

people that can hurt you the most ladies and gentlemen are the people that you

love that you love they're the ones that you're vulnerable to they're the ones

that can get to you and they're Fifth's insensitive I don't care who they are

see if you don't draw the line with people if you just let them run rampant

in your life and you let things happen to you that you don't feel good about if

you continue to allow it to happen you won't feel good about yourself your

image of yourself will erode so you've got to draw the line in the conditions

that you find yourself in here's a jarring question why are known hell's

preferable to strange heavens why would people live in a known hell a lot of

people just go to a job where they're miserable day in and day out why do

people stay together and they're miserable sleeping in separate rooms

arguing are the only thing have in common paying the bills don't

talk don't communicate don't share anything together day in and day out is

short and unpredictable that life is being mean to each other what do people

do that known Hills are preferable to strange heavens because it's familiar

see life is rough ladies and gentlemen it's rough and it's scary it's scary

growing it's scary taking a chance it's scary acting on your intuition on your

guts it's scary it's frightening there are people that just tolerating things

right now and they're immobilized by fear they can see the hammer coming and

they afraid to even move because it's scary

federal White said something to go against the dominant thinking of your

family friends and those people you associate with every day is perhaps the

most difficult act of courage you will ever perform see when you start growing

when you start changing the way you walk the way you talk the way you act the way

you respond to things the way you use your time when you start saying no I

can't do that why you're too busy you don't have the time to I have my own

agenda all right got something that I'm doing not lying to try and get out of it

just said no I'm busy doing something that I want to do or I don't want to do

that and I'm not going to do it

I'm not mad not upset about it I just don't want to do it why well I

don't have to give you any reasons why I don't want to do it but listen thank you

so much for asking me take it easier hey I thought you were all right is that

right oh boy ask me do I care about that if people

can put you on a guilt trip they will and use you and abuse you over and over

and over again you got to draw the line you have to draw the line on them don't

go through life feeling like you're powerless victims of people that are

powerless you're not powerless you are powerful you direct the power in your

life whatever your life is right now it is a duplication of your consciousness

it's a result of how you have decided to use your power that's all it is that's

not who you are that's just a perverted use of your power that you aren't

satisfied with and you've got the power to change that wherever you are huh I

don't know but I know you've got the power to do that but you don't know what

has happened to me it really doesn't matter what has happened to you see the

only thing that really matters is what are you going to do about it that's all

that matters that's all that matters you can allow it to destroy you or you can

allow it to bill you up John Powell a book called while I'm afraid to tell you

I am and he went to get a newspaper guy was very discourteous to and he was very

courteous to the guy the guy who was with him said why would you be as

courteous to this guy as you were considering how rude II was to you he

said I'm not going to allow that man to determine how I'm going to act the

things that's going to happen to you in life ladies and gentlemen make it okay

Lord grant me the serenity to accept the things that I cannot change I cannot

change the fact that when I ask my son to go that I will no longer take care of

him then he became angry and perhaps hate my guts the change of things that I

can I can change how I respond to it I can become upset nervous

hence about it week about it or I can say it's okay

he who cares less wins you gotta make it okay

become comfortable with it what's the next thing learn something new

and tackle it in a spirit of adventure and love

somebody said that we are not stricken by the things we do but we're stricken

by the things that we don't do the Psalms that have not been sung the poems

that we have not written the work that we have not done the ideas that we have

not developed the dreams that we have not acted on

that's what can stricken you that's what can block your power

that's what can rob you of your piece of your satisfaction of your self-respect

of this special joy that you can get out of life of special achievement see one

of the things that contributes to to high self acceptance or self approval is

self achievement when you achieve something when you've done something and

you can stand back and look at it say I did this what if it doesn't work out you

can stand back and look at and say I tried it I would have been there I went

with it didn't work out no no but I the experience I loved just the experience

of doing it I love that so that's why I said wait a minute I've been fantasizing

about singing

so I'm gonna do this who says that when I first stand up I got to sound like

Pavarotti what the guys David I don't have to sound like him

I didn't sound like this that's right maybe Brownsburg see see you got to look

at you and look at your life and find something that you can tackle and do it

with love only that which you love only that which you love let me tell you

something when you do that you're doing it in a spirit of love just love it me

can you can you tell I love this I love it see I know that there's greatness in

you I know that there's something in you everybody has something I don't know

what it is but you know it's something you know it's something in you that you

want to do everybody's got some ideas I say to you that as you focus on

something as you go into action as you hold that thought in consciousness

persistently you begin to develop the consciousness to manifest and create all

kinds of things you will begin to realize powers and abilities you have

you will realize you have miracle-working power in you that that

when you move that when you walk fuck will see you when you come in the room

and say yeah I don't know what it is then there's something different about

you there's something about the way you look it's it's a glow about what is it

huh what will you do now I'm just being Who I am I'm just living

out my greatness I'm I'm approving myself and giving myself permission to

pursue my dream ladies and gentlemen pursue your dream pursue your greatness

it's there I know it's there I'm waiting on you to come on out here and join me

this is mrs. Mamie Brown's baby boy Leslie Calvin Brown saying it's been a

plum pleasing pleasure as well as a privilege thank y'all here

BACK TO WORK & SELF CARE • Stress, Cheveux nus, Rentrée & Organisation ~ #UrsulaVlog - Duration: 9:37.

For Labor day I try to really tidy up everything at home so yesterday I started

by the bedroom and in particular the desk I hung

the cards I bought in different museums for inspirations

I found a place for my paint material that I had trouble finding a place

I managed to free a drawer I put everything in it all my material the leaves

painting etc ... it's really practical I'm so happy

and on the desk I always have my pots with my brushes, pencils, pens, a small

rule etc ... and of course my notebooks. Obviously new sheets

it's just so nice. In my drawers next to me I keep

my books that I'm currently reading and also the next books

I'm going to read. today I'm going to do the bathroom seen that I wanted to

wash my hair because every time I do my haircare

I dirty the bathroom so I'll go clean the bathroom

when I was little I was always super stressed by labor day and since then every labor day

I am a little stressed out and I feel super weird and the coffee amplifies

stress so I clearly should not had coffee today but I have not taken any

the rest of the week a little bit wrung my hair with

a microfiber towel and since I let it dry without putting any products

to see what it looks. Years that I did not do that.

I do not know if any of you remember

I had done I think there is at least

at least five years ago but I would say more 6 years maybe

a video that I had called my naked hair without product without doing anything

without manipulation it's true that it's something we really do

rarely when you have kinky hair since we know that it will become pretty

quickly dry and more difficult to manage and I wanted

you show my hair since last time at the end it's not that dry

I have tiny curls more or less big they have well shrinked

it's funny it makes me look funny I find

I thought a lot during these holidays and last days

about what I wanted to do

find what is really important to you and really identify it and then

put in place habits and routines that allow us to make

things that make us feel good and make us happy actually

I just think it's a bit the same philosophy the same technique as

marie kondo method to sort at home sorting in clothes

sort in our life it is when we do something try to see what

we feel about this activity

I find that I actually tend to find excuses to not doing things

that I would like to do often all time even every time

it implies a change in my life all the time I tend to tell myself this is going

it's going to be complicated and it's really by doing a new activity so in

painting by doing videos I realized that I loved

doing these activities and I wanted to continue doing this activities

so I'm always trying to try to start the activity before really

make a decision about it and I try to go against my desire not to do

we must also force ourselves to do things we do not particularly like or

want to do but that we know are important in our lives and will allow us to feel good

in the end not only think about the moment but also after

doing the activity how we'll feel then and so it's a little bit

wthat I'm trying to do right now I will admit that there are days I would like

to do anything like that just wet my hair

wash it a little bit and go out I try to think a little more about the

week a little longer term I like twists out because it lasts

all week and so I do not have much to do

during the week nothing at all apart from tying my hair up to sleep

I just finished my twist and I finished my waam yuzu shea butter

I think we can also say finished my coconut oil from Aullyn Cosmetics

certainly tomorrow because I will not have time today

I will do living room and kitchen to have a tidy interior and mind

today I'm doing laundry

I tidied up, cleaned my kitchen and what else did I do? I answered

my mails I must tidy the living room you see there is a mess

there I still have a lot of things to do this week I'm also putting in place

the next things I'm going to do on my channel etc .. as I want to

to do a lot of things I need to find time

for every thing well plan well think about it actually

upstream what I want to do plan my weeks

to free me from time to time times for painting

to make videos for my English classes really anticipate the month of

October as in October I will start the English challenge

today I put my hergivenhair extensions it's been a long time since

I did not put them I do not know why I really wanted to have long hair

today really long hair and so it's really nice

every time I put them on and I see myself with really long hair I tell myself that I need

to let my hair grow

I'm going to film a video now because I have a lot of things to do

and I put this clinical lipstick which is a chubby stick

it is this one I find it super beautiful

I love it so much I would love to already have this length

and my nail polish really looks good it's not perfect though it starts

a little bit damaged but in fact the trick I was told is that you have to

really put polish up to the tip here on the nail to

protect it too because often when I put polish

it starts flaking here and so this is exactly where you need to

put it and I received these flowers from sanoflore which are so beautiful they

are super pretty they smell super good and in fact I noticed that there was

mint in it, lavender too, full of aromatic plants I think

and hence the marvelous smell is very pretty and besides

the trick to keep you flowers it's changing the water every day and

to cut off the tip in fact the stem of the tip every day

and so it last easily a week

I finished filming my video I will start editing

I'd like to finish it today it's not a video a very long one so

normally it should still be fast enough, add the subtitles, put online

actually put online and then add subtitles then to plan all that and yeah

this morning I washed all my brushes in right now I try to use my brushes

only once a use so so it's going super fast

and luckily I have a lot of them because from a hygienic point of view it's

really really better

I just removed my polish I had to

I removed it with this product with this nailmatic remover which is

really great so it's 100% of natural origin it does not feel strong

at all it's made with essential oil of lavender, with sweet almond oil with a

wheat-based solvent corn and sugar cane and it's without acetone without the smell of

solvent without ethyl acetate really great so if you're interested

a nice find I work a bit this morning

I would like to go out quickly to go do some shopping including

for painting and tonight I have a event a meeting with you

since I made you a giveaway with nars and mylittleparis on my

IG account a few weeks ago so I'm going to meet one of you

with the person of her choice with a girlfriend and we'll spend the evening

together there will also be others people

so I will try to film a little bit later on

it's super pretty color

thank you very much I'm so happy to be here

that's so beautiful on you

it's the final makeup result for the shoot

so we'll see

in picture

it's going to be so beautiful and with the light and everything

oh yes yes yes I can't wait

hello ah it's so beautiful

it's so pretty

yeah?

did you see it?

Yes I saw a little bit, frankly it changes I like it I like the bright there

here for this video I think I'll stop here feel free to have any suggestions of

things you would like me to include in the vlogs

since that's the same I'm going to think about it and organize all that stuff

I will also think on the next videos so feel free if you have any

suggestions of videos to put me in comments

thank you for watching my video like if you do, tell me if you do

like it in comment subscribe to continue watching my videos

turn on notifications to be notified when I post videos

thank you so much and see you soon

[ENG SUB] I made a big decision… Pain of the eliminate Self- Reggae Braced - Duration: 6:26.

Hi guys, and my Ryunas

It's Kyung-Ah from Ryu's Penna (Fashion Youtuber traveling life)

Today I made a big decision...!

I'm sure those of you who've been watching my videos steadily.

Since I was blogging, can you see this?

And this is what I call braids, and I always wear it like my identity.

That's why I have my own love.

It just started getting too trendy.

I think my identity is ambiguous because so many people are suddenly going around...

That's why I'm trying to get rid of it.

Actually, it's nice for people like me to have identity, right?

That's why I've been sticking to this.

But if you're not the one who comes up with identity, you can try hard to be the one who comes up as Ryu Kyung-ah, or Ryu's Penna.

I'm going to say goodbye to these...!

So let me tell you a little bit about this braids

This is a string braid with my hair root.

So we can keep it for about a month.

There's a lot of people who wonder how to wash their hair and find it uncomfortable in their daily lives.

It doesn't bother me at all.

You can do it all as usual even with these braids

You can also wash your hair!

It's not like the whole reggae or the dread lock, so there's no inconvenience in washing your hair or getting in the way of living.

So I was really happy with the identity... (I'm so sad...lol)

And now I'm gonna try to get rid of them with a self-help cell.

How do I remove this?

If you look at it, my hair is braids to the middle.

There's a part below that that doesn't contain my hair. Braid of string!

I cut that part with scissors.

Bye.....

Cut it this way.

These cuts don't contain my hair.

It's just a thread braid.

And the top of the cut contains my hair, so now I have to release it with a sweat of my hand! (We need a kidney.LOL)

So it takes a long time.

But I have to...LOL

But it's easier to solve using the tail comb.

But I don't usually use combs, so I just relax with my hands.

Can you see it? It's like this? LOL

You can keep it this way.

I think it's been braid for a month, so my hair and thread are really crooked.

It takes a lot of concentration...! LOL

I've been working on it for about 20 minutes now, but it's been solved like this.

My hair is so bright and thin that I don't know if I can see it. But taking a long time...lol

I'm afraid you need to be in this tight braids to keep it for a month.

And when it stays for about a month and unwinds, I get a lot of hair.

You know, people usually lose dozens of hair a day?

It's dead because those hairs are braided together.

So you don't have to be sad, you don't get hair loss.

I just need to think that I can't get the hair that I'm supposed to fall out of, so I'm going to take it with me.

And if you're as thin as I am, you should be careful.

If I just do something wrong, my head gets tangled.

Then we have to cut that part...(So be careful!)

Now that's how much.

Oh, it takes a long time. It's too hard.

It's starting to unravel, but there's a lot more and more tangled stuff going on.

Oh, it hurts.

Guys... I've solved it all.

So here's what I came up with. That's how much in a strand.

This place is so tangled right now... I need you to brush this off.

Otherwise, I have to cut this part...lol

So I only wear string combs like this.

Ha... I've lost a lot of hair.LOL

Oh, it hurts.

hahaha....really

If it doesn't last long, it's less tangy, so the sooner you untie it, the better.

Oh, it hurts.

This pain won't hurt.

You have to put up with this.

Ha... It took me 35 minutes to untie it. LOL

There's so much tangy...LOL

I've got two strands left... I'm at a loss.LOL

Same here.

Take a good look at it and cut it down to the bare parts of my hair.

I'll cut you like this.

It's still two threads rather than the one before, so I can solve them faster because I can see the tied parts better. I hope not.

It really works faster than that green one.

I've been wearing it on my head for years, and when it suddenly disappears, my friends would feel pretty awkward. empty... (for about three years.)

This is a little more of my hair than the green one before.

That's why I think it's easier to solve.

I got the knack now.

Take my hair and unwind it!LOL

It sure has become easier to solve!

Hard...LOL

Ahhhhhhhh

Can you see it's tangling......

Finally!

The other one was quick!

The reggae is full of pain.

When I was deliberately washing my hair to solve it, I did more than usual, but I can't help getting tangled...

Guys... I've finally solved it.

Wow, it was really hard.

It took me almost an hour to unpack these three.

Ah, it is so hard.LOL

But don't you feel empty now that you've solved it?LOL (Is it because of your temper?lol)

Shall we do it again? Just Joke LOL

I told you I've been doing this for three years, haven't I?

And I do YouTube has been around for almost two years.

That's why you've only seen me in bra since I started YouTube.

So I wanted to be with you until the last minute I took this off, so I started filming.

Anyway, everyone! I hope you can look forward to my future growth and keep an eye on it.

Well guys, this is the end of this clip
