Is Nicki Minaj Dumb? - Her Intelligence, Education and Story - Duration: 2:55.

Is Nicki Minaj Dumb?

There are many people who question her intelligence, but are they right? is Nicki Minaj dumb or

smart?

lets find out.

Education Minaj got into LaGuardia High School in Manhattan

after a successful audition.

Once she graduated, she decided to become an actress.

It wasn't long before she got a role in a play called "In Case You Forget" in

2001.

Endorsements Since her musical career skyrocketed into

the stratosphere, Minaj has publicly endorsed a number of products.

The pink-haired princess of pop is a shrewd business woman, and she knows that even the

smallest mistake can tarnish her own personal brand forever.

She signed an endorsement deal with Adidas back in the fall of 2012, appearing in a number

of TV commercials and online ads.

The particular segment she was featured in also included Sky Ferreira, 2NE1, Big Sean,

and Derrick Rose.

In 2014, she became the face of the Roberto Cavalli spring/summer campaign in 2015.

A number of photos features Minaj were taken by Francesco Carrozzini, a famous Italian

photographer.

She was pictured wearing various bohemian dresses and other clothing items.

Business Endeavors She also introduced her own clothing line

for Kmart, which was made up of various clothing items and housewares.

She also partnered up with Beats Electronics to introduce the Pink Pill speakers back in

April of 2013.

She was featured in a commercial for the speakers along with DeRay Davis.

Minaj managed to launch her own popular fragrance line.

She started it in September of 2012 with a product like "Pink Friday: Special Edition".

Since then, her brand has become very popular.

The second fragrance she introduced in this line was called "Minajesty" in 2013.

One thing that not very many people know about Nicki Minaj is that she is actually co-owner

of Tidal, which is a music streaming service.

Some of the other stakeholders in the company include Madonna, Kanye West, and Beyconce.

In 2016, Minaj told a reporter that she had spent quite a bit of time learning about the

business world so she could become even more successful.

This was the same year that she came out with the "Trini Girl" fragrance, which ended

up becoming quite popular.

She is also responsible for getting a mobile game called Nicki Minaj: The Empire, launched

in 2016.

Those who play this game have to launch their career and build their voice by recording

numerous vocal tracks.

While Minaj may not have a business degree, there is no denying that she has had great

success in all of the endeavors she's taken on so far.

So, what do you think? does she seem dumb? one definitely needs to be smart to achieve

such success.

What Type of Education System We Must Have? Sadhguru With JNU Students - Duration: 3:41.

Namaskaram Sadhguru not like you say like you seen Lady Gaga my question is

regarding the education system which is followed everywhere especially in India

your lordship

so it's a guru my question is what is what exactly is the idol education

system that we should have in a country so that we can explore every dimension

of life keeping intact the material needs of the country everyone with what

they're around so yeah there is no such system that that you can create in a

limited amount of time that human life is and that to education is a certain

part of our life to create that you can experience every dimension of life for

everybody no it won't work like that somebody's interested in academics they

should go one way somebody just wants to earn a living they must go another way

somebody else has some other kind of skills they must go another way I think

early on I'm saying at the age of 12 by 12 everybody is reasonably literate they

can read at least one or two languages in this country two languages you can

read English language and you can read your local language whatever your mother

tongue is these two languages you can read and grasp what is written in a

paper to this level we must bring every child before they're 12

we should not cramp them with too many things just language and perception what

I read I understand that's all this capability if you bring

by 12 then you can do evaluation who should go for skill based thing who

should go for little higher level of expertise in the same skills who should

go for academic pursuits this needs to happen if this doesn't happen everybody

is being pushed through the extruder of academics people are just committing

suicide not one or two in 20

sixteen some seventeen thousand six hundred youth below 18 years of age

commit suicide seven thousand and odd are below fifteen years of age

if twelve thirteen fourteen year old boys and girls start killing themselves

are we not doing something fundamentally wrong in our society hello not grown up

people twelve thirteen year old boys and girls

who must be exuberant life at that time they want to take their life obviously

we are doing something very fundamentally wrong isn't it and

unfortunately ninety percent of these suicides are education related few other

things are family something else some other issues but 90% of them are

education related definitely we need to revisit this education as to how to do

education we are trying to put everybody through the same process

not everybody is equipped to go through the same process it's very important

it's most what is a cruel way of handling a child

Cabin Crew Education Requirements / Flight Attendant / Singapore Airlines - Duration: 7:30.

hi everyone welcome back to my channel my name is Nidhi and you're watching my

series on how to become a cabin crew

well not today I'm gonna talk about something that a lot of you again have

been asking me and it is to do with the educational requirements so I'm kind of

touching base on the requirements to become a cabin crew and today we're

going to pick up this specific thing which is about having certain

educational qualification to become a cabin crew or having to do certain

courses to become cabin crew or going through certain Institute's to become a

cabin crew now we're going to talk about three things here first and foremost

let's talk about educational qualifications now most of the airlines

have a certain requirements depending upon whether they are hiring crew from

locally within the country or they are hiring internationally from another

country to basically operate in the country of from where the airline is

based basically operating so based on those two things basically the

educational qualifications differ now the airlines are very very clear about the

educational qualifications that they need you to have and they very very

specifically laid down on the website itself so again a lot of you when you

send me messages on my Instagram and my facebook asking me that you have certain

education qualification then you apply to become a cabin crew my question to

you my answer to you has always been different airline have different

educational requirements so please go ahead and look it up form the website

itself so first and foremost what you really need to do is go ahead and find

out which airline are you interested in becoming a cabin crew with and in my

personal humble opinion I suggest that you go ahead and look up all the

airlines because the more that you go for the interview unless you really have

a very very specific aim in your mind and that's the only airline that you

won't want to work for because cabin crew interviews are definitely tough so

you do want to attend as many as possible so that

at least you are able to get through either of them so again go to the

website and look it up under their requirements section under the career

section within the cabin crew page what are these educational requirements again

if you go to the Singapore Airlines page it tells you if you agree if we aren't

hiring you from India these are the particular requirements in terms of the

education that you need to have now there are reasons as to why they need

you to have certain educational qualifications because when you're going

overseas to work for an airline they have to issue you something called

employment costs or work pass and the Ministry of whatever employment is

present in that particular country needs you to have certain education

qualifications for them to be able to issue those pass to you

so especially when it comes to international airlines that is one of

the reasons they tell you to have certain educational qualifications you

have to have a certain degree or you have to have your high school in done

from a certain board which is a recognizable University or a

recognizable Board of Education so go ahead and look it up and find out as to

whether you actually meet those requirements in terms of the educational

qualifications that you have and the educational qualifications that the

airline wants you to have so the second thing that I want to talk about is doing

some sort of aviation course is it necessary to become a cab entry now I'm

not talking about any other aviation related job here I am only and only

specifically talking about cabin crew and I've made another video where I've

talked about the need to join these aviation courses or aviation Institute's

to become a cabin crew how important it is now before the job of the cabin crew

if you go through all the airlines none of them actually mention anywhere that

you need to have done some sort of aviation course from a certain Institute

or a certain aviation cause to become cabin crew they always tell you that you

need to have a degree or you need to have done your high school those are the

only things that you would usually see being mentioned on the websites so you

don't necessarily have to any aviation course in particular to

become a cabin crew and that is what I know up til today if it is to change in

future I'm not really sure about that so this is what I can tell you right now I

have not done any aviation course yes of course I did have a lot of customer

service experience and as I shared in my previous videos if you were to watch

where I've talked about whether you should join an Aviation Institute you

don't necessarily have to join those Institute's please go ahead and watch my

video where I've talked about what I did and did I join any Institute because I

didn't what I really did was just groom myself get some courses where I

basically learned how to develop my personality my confidence my public

speaking skills and for that matter of fact I do offer those kind of coaching

sessions where I prepare you for cabby who interviews and I know a lot of other

people who are doing that as well so go ahead and see if you can get in touch

with me or them to see how they can help you in preparation for this interview

having said that of course there are certain airlines which require you to

have certain amount of cabin crew experience and they're hiring you for

certain positions for example a lead cabin crew or a supervisor we can

include through those aspects they will definitely want you to have certain

licenses or they would want you to have certain cabin crew experiences because

they do not want you to put through the whole entire training process again

which they would do for somebody who is a fresher because somebody who does not

have any cabin crew experience even they can go for the interview but they are

considered as freshers in the airline industry and they would definitely have

to go through the entire training process which the company will train you

on where they will touch tell you how the aircraft is going to be operated or

what are the different kind of fleets and what exactly you need to know in terms

of the safety security and a lot of other things so this is what I really

wanted to talk to you guys about when it comes to educational qualifications

joining an institute or an aviation course I really hope this video

clarifies that whole process because a lot of you again ask me a lot of

questions in terms of whether you should join an aviation cause should you join

innovation Institute so I hope this information was valuable to you guys and

if it is do remember to like it and share it with other people as well so

they can be and at the same time do not forget to

subscribe to the channel remember to press the notification bell for the more

video updates and as I said earlier I do a lot of coaching where I basically help

you guys prepare yourself for the big day which is going to view the in terms

of your confidence in terms of public speaking in terms of how to answer the

questions and basically just practice with me for your whole cabin crew

interview telling you what kind of interview rounds do you have to go

through but you can go ahead and check all the details on my website and do get

in touch with me if you'd like to do any sort of group coaching or one-to-one

coaching and in the meantime all of you are there at stay pretty stay handsome

and i love you all

Using Builder Profile in Education - Duration: 4:15.

I'm Dawn Nizzi. I'm an educator for…, this is my 31st year in education. K-12.

And I am Kathy McGauvran. I'm a business and talent specialist.

So our CAPS program, CAPS stands for Center for Advanced Professional Studies. What's unique about our program, and why it's so

entrepreneurial in its nature, is that it comes from a Youth Career Connect grant, which was funded by H1B visas from the Department of

Labor. It is specifically designed to drive students to recognize that they have talents and passions around the STEM fields, healthcare

and the financial sector.

Part of what we also do is we reach out to the business community and listen to their needs. And industry is telling us that we have these

great, bright kids, but that they, you know, have some deficiencies when it comes to working as a team and being an entrepreneur and, you

know, going with the passion that they have to be a leader or to be a builder or, you know, to take an idea and run with it. So what we do is

we develop professional portfolios for the kids and we help them identify what their passions are and to actually not just tell them yes, you

can do anything you want, but to show them the avenues on how to get there and BP10 has been a critical tool for them. Because it makes them

see, you know, what the different aspects of BP10 is and how they can apply that to their lives and take it out into their next steps,

whatever it may be; if it's the job field or if it's their college or if it's just their everyday life and how they can adapt that and make it work for

them to their best advantage.

All kids are builders. Absolutely. Everybody's a builder. We're all… Yeah. And it's been neat watching their

reactions because when we've done the BP10, they're like well, I don't want to start a business. I have no interest in doing that. But everybody

has it in them. It's an innate sense to want to make a difference. And if it's the person who's got the idea, or the person that is driving the

train, or if it's the person that's going to build the idea, or run the show, everybody is a builder. And it's been fun for us to see them identify the

fact that yes, I am a builder and to walk around now and say oh, I could do this, because I'm a builder.

In our use with the BP10 with our students, it's about the conversation with them. So Kathy and I also share our BP10 results and so we

can have a conversation with each student, or each team of students, around their top talents and not about who's got disruptor first and, oh,

you're profitability. It's more about what we have and that conversation and how we complement one another.

We have the ability to work with our students every day and to take them out of a traditional classroom and apply a concept like BP10. The

best or the most beneficial thing is to actually watch somebody transform. You watch somebody come in on day one and they've got

the I've been in a traditional classroom, I'm bored, I'm tired, I'm not interested in being here, to okay, this is kind of interesting. Or oh, I have

this kind of talent. Or I have this capability. And I have literally watched this young woman go from being very closed and very, you know, to

herself, to really exploring what her options are. She never thought she could go and do something different. She always thought she

had to stay on the path that was chosen for her. And she said to me just the other day, "If it wasn't for this and if it wasn't for you guys giving

us the tools, like the BP10, and being able to have myself do some self-discovery", she said, "you've changed my life. You have changed the

course that I have been on and I am going to do something now because I believe in myself. Not because my parents told me. Not because you

told me. Not because my teachers told me. But because I believe that I can make a difference." And it's because of things like this.

Hi. I'm Dawn. I help students build their lives. I'm a builder.

Hi. I'm Kathy. I help our students believe in themselves. I am a builder.

TRUNKS Education and Innovation Center - Duration: 8:30.

Hi! this is Amanda. I'm here with Anni and Arihant. Hi! Hello! We're presenting

our idea for an Education and Innovation Center in the Western region of Ghana. We

call ourselves TRUNKS in education which stands for teaching resources uniting

new knowledge sustainability and education. It's a long title but it

addresses the issues that are near and dear to our hearts such as the

misalignment in the school system which leads to a high level of unemployment

amongst Ghanaians even after they graduate school. And the school system

fails to encourage critical thinking, problem solving, communication skills -

- an essential aspects that make people marketable in the workforce. So we want

to address that by encouraging creativity and innovation which are some

skills that world leaders such as Mark Cuban and Elon Musk say are very

relevant for the upcoming workforce. We have some statistics on these issues to

further support their importance. - As Amanda just mentioned, the place where we

want to build up our center is the Sekondi-Takoradi area and Western Ghana.

The reason why we picked this place is that it's already got a couple of

resources that we want to connect like the transport system and it's got 39

schools colleges and universities which we would like to collaborate with.

But there's also a lot of needs we feel we can address. Such as the fact that

there's only two libraries which require fees. There's a lack of free community

centers and there's a great divide between the two parts of the city which

are developed and very underdeveloped. So we feel we can help with that by

creating a stationary Center and supplementing it with a circulating

library bus. And projects we would like to implement would be workshops that

teach self-esteem, aid to self-aid, hands-on skills and creative problem solving and

thinking which we feel are important for the

workforce. We would also like to address activities such as arts and sports and

games from a very early age on, so children learn about teamwork,

Entrepreneurship - we feel it's a very important quality in today's market

because a lot of Ghanaians can't just find a job they have to invent one for

themselves. And they can't do it without creative ideas, so we would like to

support that. And we would also like to provide physical educational resources

like books and ebooks and downloadable lectures which would be included in the

mobile library. - Some sustainability plans we have to further develop ourselves and

keep our center running would be the sale of branded products something that

would be our primary source of income, of furthering work exchanges with local

university students and international partnerships with universities, hosting

events such as art show projects, performing arts events and sporting

events, collecting donations from some high-level, high-profile workshops that

would go beyond just serving our local area and our mobile area, but can be

distributed internationally. And use of the land that we want to purchase for

permaculture, which is something I'm very excited about. It has two hundred coconut trees

which we can use not only to teach permaculture but also teach

entrepreneurship and create hopefully a sustainable income for our center.

To address the issues we will need a few things and the most important and

exciting part of that is local connections. We want to work closely with

teachers, school leaders, community centers and for that we will need a

facility and a bus and also some solar panels which will keep the electricity

costs down. We've got a number of donations lined up like the books, games,

school supplies and computers. And donations is also a large part of our

sustainability plan. And here is a slide for why we want to buy the property

and not rent it. - And furthering our financial planning is this spreadsheet.

We have a total initial setup cost of 115.000 Euro,

and then a monthly expense of around 900 Euro. So we are requesting a

total amount of 125.000 Euro for our

establishment and first year of operation. We hope to, from the get-go,

crowd fund each month 500 Euro and have a return on promotional

products of 500 Euro, adding up to 1.000 Euros. So we would even

have a little surplus on our monthly expenses, or even the ability to expand

upon our current plans. Any of the objectives mentioned in our

sustainability and Development Goals that proved to be successful would be in

addition to this financial planning sheet. So we do have a pretty

well-established goal to be able to maintain ourselves going into the second

year of operation. As for our first two months of operation, we have a two month schedule

laid out. The first month overall focus would be establishing the

necessities, meeting legal requirements and really ensuring that everything - when

we get to Ghana - is established and ready to roll. In our second month we want to

further review our tactical plan and start our strategic marketing campaigns.

That will help us not only begin selling selling products but also

sourcing donations and further sponsors. - Then we've got a contact list for you.

We've already contacted quite a few people in Ghana and outside of Ghana.

We've received a lot of very positive feedback. We contacted people who already

have successfully running businesses like street libraries

and we've contacted people who have already built libraries as an NGO. We've

also reached out to potential sponsors and donors who could help us in the

donation process. - This is our team. I'm Arihant and my favorite

part of the project is the fact that it is not just a reading center but also

it's an education center that will bridge the gap between the school and the

business world. - I love the inclusion of so many

community participants and existing resources that are already in Ghana , and

facilitating them, connecting things so there is a cycle of knowledge sharing

and sustainability. I also love the facility we hope to purchase. It has

already been a nonprofit organization focused on human rights,

so transferring that into our project will be a more easy transition, keeping

the flow of Ghanians coming to the center, recognizing it as a safe haven.

And it's located in such a strategic area between two major cities with easy

access, but also in a rural enough area that we can reach the people who need

assistance the most. My name is Anni and my favorite part of the project goes in

line with what Amanda just said. I'm very passionate about reaching people who

might not have access to resources like school or libraries. So my favorite part

is the mobile aspect; going around communities in a converted library

van or bus to promote learning for those who can't get it for themselves.

Here's a reference page of some of the sources that we really depended on. And the first

one listed is a video that we think really establishes and visualizes the

need for a center like ours in the location that we plan it. If you have the

opportunity to watch that video, we really encourage you. Thank you for

listening! Thank you! Thank you very much!

Truman Virtual Tour: International Education - Duration: 0:56.

¡Hola!

I am Camila and I am a Physics student at Truman.

My hometown is San Pedro Sula, Honduras and

I am one of the over 400 international students at Truman.

Truman students come from 50 countries, so I have friends here from all over the world.

I chose to study at Truman because I had a close family friend come here

and I knew I could find a home away from home.

I have now found a community of my own by living on campus, joining Tau Lambda Sigma,

and working in the Center for International Students.

Not only do students travel to Truman to study, like I did, they also travel with Truman through

our study abroad programs.

With more than 500 programs to choose from, every student can find a program

that meets their needs -- whether it is living with a host family in Mexico,

learning health care hands-on in the Philippines, becoming fluent in Korean,

or having a truly global experience with Semester at Sea.

A Truman education sets up each student for success in a globalized world.

Everyone is welcome here!
