Hey, guys, Professor Bill of Comic Book University and I'm going to explain Stained Glass Scarlet in about a minute.
Stained Glass Scarlet's first appearance was in "Moon Knight vol 1 #14" in December 1981 and she was created by Doug Moench and Bill Sienkiewicz.
Scarlet Fasinera is a tragic figure who was abused by her father.
She set his bed on fire with a lit cigarette, killing him in his sleep.
The police investigators dubbed the incident an accident.
She wanted to become a nun or an actor when she grew-up and, upon reaching adulthood, accepted the habit.
She left the convent to marry a reformed criminal named Vincent Fasinera and they had a son they named, Joseph.
Vince returned to a life of crime and died in a gun-fight with police.
Joe, now 15-years-old, followed in his father's footsteps under the moniker of, Joe "Mad Dog" Fasinera.
She was forced to kill him when he attacked her and Moon Knight.
Scarlett became a prison guard for a number of years after her husband died and she learned the use of several security weapons, including rifles and bayonets.
She took a personal likening to the crossbow, which she employs regularly.
She has a strange mind-link to Moon Knight where she can cause a shared vision between them, even allowing communication between the two.
She's a heartbreaking figure whose story is told not by her powers, but by her pain.
And that's Stained Glass Scarlet is about a minute.
