Auto news on Youtube Jul 31 2018

My number-one problem has always been my self-confidence.

This is the reason why I have missed so much in my life, why I had so many hardships!

I was embarrassed to go to the beach,

I didn't want to go to that club,

I didn't want to compete in the audition for my dream role!

I didn't want to do this, I didn't want to do that!

But NO!

It's not that I didn't want to! I wanted!

But I was scared!

I was scared of being called fat, I was scared of being called ugly,

I was scared of being told that I'm not good enough!

I was scared of being rejected!

I was scared of failing!

Our lack of self-confidence is coming from us not being able to meet other people's expectations of us.

We value our self-worth externally, instead of valuing it internally.

People will always have something negative to say about you!

But they are only do that because they're trying to project their own negative attributes on you!

Because they rather judge you instead of owning it.

Growing up our environment helped shaped our belief system.

And for most of us, who are experienced in low self-esteem,

we have this negative belief that we are not good enough.

And we keep comparing ourselves to others, that we think, that are better than us.

For example:

Being scared to go to that job interview, because you're scared that you're not good enough!

Creating self-confidence is so easy!

That as you continue to listen to the words of this video,

you would have wished that you would have done it sooner.

But it's not too late!

First, start with You!

Our mind controls everything!

You are in charge!

Stop listening to the negative things that people have to say about you!

People tend to overlook the good things and give negative judgment, instead of praises.

You do that yourself!

Every time you look in the mirror, you're looking for flaws.

The first thing that I used to say to myself when I looked in the mirror was:

Oh my G-D I'm so fat

Oh my G-D I don't like my nose

Oh my G-d my lips are too small

I kept complaining about my flaws!

But no!

Look into the mirror, and be grateful for all the things that you love about yourself!

Change your negative self-talk to what Tony Robbins calls, Incantations.

Every time you look in the mirror,

tell yourself and feel how great you are.

I'm beautiful!

I'm special!

I love myself!

Tell that to yourself and believe it and feel it!

Who cares what other people say!!

Their opinion of you needs to stop being your reality.

Trust yourself and love yourself!

Stop comparing yourself to others!

We are all made differently.

We are all unique in our own way.

You want to be like others, but you have particular qualities that I don't have,

and I have particular qualities, that you don't have.

And we can't take it away from each other.

Accept who you are and embrace it.

Love yourself and all your perfect imperfections.

Because just like John Legend says, all of me, loves all of you!

Guys thank you so much for listening!

And just remember, I am here with you!

My name is Abhi and I just completed the Self-Driving Car Nanodegree program.

For a really long time I've been really interested in medicine and its

intersection with technology, and that's kind of always been my motivation to

learn computer science. But after I actually completed my undergrad

artificial intelligence course, I just realized I was really interested in a

lot of these problems. The Nanodegree program actually allowed me to match a

lot of the theory that I learned in school with implementation. There are

very few places that you're gonna find where there's so much support to

actually help you grow as an individual and to help you make the right career move.

The Capstone Project was phenomenal, predominantly because we actually got to

use ROS. Being able to get exposure to understanding ROS and all of its

capabilities was really exciting. In addition to that, our team was

distributed across the globe. We had someone from Germany, someone from

Singapore, someone from London, from the East Coast and myself. I think what was

really fun for me was I was definitely the junior-most individual on the team.

Everyone on the team either had a Master's or a PhD. But it was great because I had a

huge opportunity to learn from them and to just be able to bond with them and

understand what their backgrounds were as well. It was really cool to just see that

so many people are trying to transition into this industry after having years

and years of experience in another industry, and that's a lot of motivation

for myself to be able to surround myself with some really incredible, talented

engineers as well. There's just so many different things I would love to work on,

but I think the Nanodegree has really helped me to realize that a lot of the

things that I imagined as a kid can start to become reality.

Self Shiatsu Massage on Hands - Massage Monday #405 - Duration: 2:22.

Hi everyone.

I am Yasuko and it's time for Massage Monday.

I have been super busy and my hands have been hurting a bit.

This week I'm going to show you the self Shiatsu massage on hands that I'm doing for my hands.

Let's start with the top of the hand.

Put three imaginary dots on the space between the extensions of the finger bones.

With five fingers you have four spaces between the finger bones.

Press each dot or stimulate each dot with a hooked thumb.

Repeat on all the dots.

If you are pregnant, skip the space between your thumb and index finger as there is an

acupressure point to induce labor.

Now the fingers.

Put imaginary dots on each finger.

On the thumb, three dots on three locations with six dots between the base and the joint

and three dots at the nail base.

On the rest of the fingers, three dots on four locations with six dots between the base

and the joint.

Three dots in the middle section.

And three dots at the nail base.

Press or stimulate every single dot with a hooked thumb.

Then the palm.

Put three imaginary dots on three lines.

Again, press or stimulate each dot with a hooked thumb or index finger joint.

Finish up with a shake and snap on each finger.

I have a link to another video below on how to do this particular technique.

Repeat on the other hand.

Thanks for watching.

I'll see you back next week.

Make it a great week.

Feel free to comment below and please don't forget to subscribe.

10 TIPS ON BUILDING SELF CONFIDENCE!! | Poppy Lemon - Duration: 5:31.

Hello Lemmings! Welcome back to another video! If you guys are new here,

hello! my name is Poppy Lemon and welcome to my channel! Today

I'm making a video for you guys on how to build some confidence! Over freshman year of high school,

it sucked. Freshman year for me was terrible. I lost almost all of my confidence.

It was the worst year of my life pretty much.

So these are my top 10 tips to build some confidence!

And I've been looking at videos lately, or... I did look up videos over freshman year.

I was very enclosed and there was just a lot of drama and just a lot of crap going on and it sucked

honestly.

and yes by doing some of these things it has helped me build up some,

confidence over the summer and now I'm like a totally different person that I was during school.

So my first tip to gaining some confidence is to take a break from social media.

I know you guys probably hear that a lot in these types of videos and that's because it's true. Over the summer

I have really taken a break from

Instagram and from YouTube. As you can see I have it posted a video in like a month.

There's a lot of toxic things online and a lot of people that can really help bring yourself down.

So I would just recommend if you have an Instagram if you have a YouTube channel,

if you have a Snapchat, if you have... any other type of

social media, I would say that you should take a break.

Maybe you go a couple days without going on it at all, and I would say that it really helps a lot.

And yeah, you'll see a big change! Willingly cleaning something around the house. I don't know.

I went through my closet back here. I totally cleaned it out because it was a disaster.

It was full of a ton of trash and I cleaned it out and then afterwards I felt so much more confident!

Here's a thing that I did over the summer so over freshman year

I did not go one day out of the entire school year without wearing makeup

I wore makeup every single day and I was super self-conscious because I was this

Pimply queen so I would wear makeup every single day

and of course that wouldn't help that would just make all the pimples worse and everything and it just

Sucked so over the summer. I have started wearing less makeup or going days without wearing makeup at all

At first I was very scared because I feel so confident when I wear

It was very hard and going out and about I felt like everybody was looking at me

I felt like everybody was heavily judging me

But that was just all in my head and try to go a couple days without wearing any makeup

just embrace what you look like go out in public talk to people and just be yourself without a mask on pretty much it's

Actually, really eye-opening really helped me out

So maybe I'll help you another tip that could really help it could be as simple as just doing a hobby that you really enjoy

Or finding a new hobby do some sort of crafts that you found online

Try cooking draw a picture paint a picture paints a painting just super simple things

Working out now. I say working out because it can make you feel super good about yourself

Even if you're not even doing anything to your body it as simple as just doing like an ab workout

Video for 10 minutes like it's as easy as that

Here's a really big one that is really important when you're trying to boost your confidence is

Mirrors now a lot of people would walk past a mirror and be like Oh gross

But an easy way to change your mindset on your confidence is when you walk past a mirror think happy thoughts

So think I'm you look good today. Even if you just rolled out of bed, you're kind of in a way

Brainwashing yourself into thinking that you look really good. Even if you don't look good

It's just you can make yourself feel a lot better

There's some other things that could really help you out is doing something different with your appearance

maybe try painting your nails or doing your hair just simple little things like that could really

Make your confidence go staying away from negativity and drama negativity and drama is not fun

Nobody likes being a part of random

negativity that's

Also part of the whole social media thing is since there is a lot of negativity and a lot of drama on social media try

And stay away from that stuff make your own little bubble of happiness and happy thoughts. It could be very helpful

Here is a very very helpful thing make two lists of things

That are pulling you down and make a list of things that are

super fun and happy and with the list of things that make you sad look at that list and

Figure out the things that you could do to make that list smaller, for example if you got your list

There's negative people on like number one look at that and try to get rid of all the negative people in your life not

Literally get rid of negative people

but try to just separate yourself from that negativity and the same is with the positivity list is

take that list and look at whatever you have on there and try to

Really do those things or just act on what your list says if that makes any sense?

I don't know and this final one sort of goes along with the last one that we just did make a new year's style kind

of list where you have everything listed out on things you want to improve on and

Set like deadlines because that can really help too.

So those are my ten ways to boost confidence!

If you guys liked today's video make sure to please subscribe and leave like, because likes are always very very deeply

appreciated! See you guys later!

Bye!

A Self-Introduction Video - Duration: 2:01.

G'day mate, how are you doing?

Ohayou gozaimasu, ogenki desu ka?

Yes, you're correct. I've just greeted you in four different languages. And yes, I've just revealed

One of my most favorite hobbies, that is to learn different languages around the world

My name is Lộc, but usually go by John as it's much easier for my friends to call me by that name

I was born and grew up in Vietnam

But I moved to Japan in 2015 to study for my bachelor degree in international relations at Tokyo International University

since the beginning of 2018

I moved once more to Melbourne Australia to do a full year student exchange program at Deakin University

When I finish this program, I'll go back to Japan to complete my last semester at my home University

After graduating, I'm hoping to be working in Japan

particularly in the travel industry and hospitality

As traveling is also one of my hobbies

To be working in this industry will give me an opportunity to be working and enjoying my leisure at the same time

Kill two birds with one stone, isn't it?

Some people asked me why didn't I want to become a diplomat or a political scholar?

I mean, it's kind of cool

but bringing joy and

Knowledge to the travelers just sounds way more

Fascinating to me

Another direction to my career would be becoming a translator which has been my goal since I was young

Frankly I don't know what the future holds for me but

Whatever I do. I'll give my best to succeed

Thank you for listening

Polar Bear Shot And Killed 'In An Act Of Self Defense,' Cruise Ship Company Says - Duration: 4:25.

Polar Bear Shot And Killed 'In An Act Of Self Defense,' Cruise Ship Company Says

A photograph shows a polar bear lying lifeless on a beach; mouth slightly agape, a ring of blood on its neck.

Norwegian authorities confirmed the bear was shot and killed on Saturday.

It happened on the northernmost island of Svalbard archipelago, a region between mainland Norway and the North Pole known for polar bears and ice caps.

In recent years, the area has become a popular destination for arctic tourism, especially during the summer months.

On Saturday, the MS Bremen cruise ship landed on the island and polar bear guards went ashore to survey the land.

Then a polar bear unexpectedly attacked one of the guards, a spokesperson for the ship operator Hapag-Lloyd Cruises told The Associated Press, and "in an act of self defense" another guard shot the polar bear.

A helicopter brought the injured guard to the nearby town of Longyearbyen on Spitsbergen island.

Hapag-Lloyd Cruises spokesperson Negar Etminan said he suffered head injuries but they were non-life threatening.

"He was flown out, was responsive, and is currently undergoing medical treatment," Etminan said to The Associated Press.

According to the cruise company, all ships travelling in the northern region are required to employ polar bear guards to protect passengers on sightseeing tours.

The company issued a statement apologizing for the incident and saying " Hapag-Lloyd Cruises very aware of its responsibility when travelling in environmentally-sensitive areas and respects all nature and wildlife.

The statement goes on:.

"Landings are possible only in a few places; these are not there to serve the purpose of polar bear observation, on the contrary: polar bears are only observed from aboard ships, from a safe distance.

To prepare for a shore leave, the polar bear guards go ashore in advance after sighting the landing site as a group and without passengers.

They then set up a land station and check the area again to make sure that there are no polar bears in sight.

As soon as such an animal approaches, the shore leave would be stopped immediately.".

Reaction to the death of this polar bear has been swift.

On Twitter, there's been outrage over human intrusion of the polar bear's natural habitat.

Some are saying it was a needless death of a vulnerable animal and that tourists shouldn't have been there in the first place.

Polar bear attacks in the arctic Svalbard archipelago are not uncommon.

As NPR reported in 2011, a polar bear attacked a group of British tourists, killing one person and injuring four others.

The group then shot and killed the bear.
