South Korea's foreign minister, Kang Kyung-wha, could be making her first visit to Japan later

this month.

According to diplomatic sources via Seoul's Yonhap News Agency,

Kang is said to have discussed the idea with her Japanese counterpart when she called on

Wednesday over North Korea's ICBM test.

No specific dates have been arranged, but officials from both countries are said to

be trying to make it happen before the end of the year.

The North Korea nuclear situation would be at the forefront for any visit, but discussions

on historical disputes, such as the so-called 'comfort women' agreement, would also likely

be tackled.

No official confirmation from the foreign ministry has been given.

Solo Trip to Japan: Rain and Melon Soda | Japaniku episode 6 (Ikutree) - Duration: 19:37.

Good morning everybody

It's very busy here so I'm not going to keep you too long

I just wanted to introduce the day

Right now I'm in Shinjuku and I'm going to go to Isetan then go visit a shrine

And then later in the day I'm finally going to go to Shibuya

Right in front of me should be the Isetan exit

And then I forgot the name of the shrine but as usual I'll include it and write it down

This is all around Shinjuku area so let's go to Isetan right now

I think it's this really fancy department store. I've seen Taylor R the youtuber go to it so

Maybe I'll see her there. Just kidding. So yeah I'll go check it out right now.

I don't want to bang my head on one of the low signs. As you can see the ceiling is pretty low

The name of the shrine I'm going to is Hanazono Shrine

I believe that today there is a flea market so if I find that it will be really interesting

And right now I'm looking for exit E2. I should be paying more attention

Otherwise I'm going to get lost

Oh, that way. I'm good

Ok, I'm back sorry.

This is a better place to vlog, the ceiling is higher, there are less people. Better choice

So I was saying about Isetan: super fancy. First I went to the ground floor

and it was all the beauty stuff like skin care and it was way way too fancy. I felt like a sore thumb

sticking out so I was like 'ok escape, I'm leaving Isetan' and then I noticed

The second ground floor like B1 there was a lot of food so I got food basically

I had a look around and you can order a Christmas cake already

There was a Christmas cake display available for pre order

There were a lot of traditional sweets which was what I was looking for

to cross off my list

And then... what else?

And then I went to check out the cosmetics real fast

And they were all you know, luxury brands like Channel...

So you kind of get the vibe that was over there. I didn't go up to the 7th floor

I went to the second ground floor which had the skin care

B1 for the food - I'm out breath

And then first floor for the cosmetics and then I came out and that was it for Isetan

Recommend. At least for the food

There was a lot more but I just bought two little sweets and then I got out of there because I saw

Sushi boxes and bento boxes and all these things which looked so so amazing

And another thing while I'm here

Check your exits when you're going to anywhere in Tokyo

Because as you can see I've been walking for a while now

And if I didn't know where the exit was I would've just been lost and never found the shrine

and would've got irritated so I know that Harazono Shrine

Is on exit E2. Coming up right in front of me

See you in a mo. Again.

So.. you can't even see behind me. Ok

It's raining so look well, look fast

This is Hanazono Shrine

And there's a flea market today

Sorry for the angle.. I want to keep this (dry). Maybe if I do it like that?

I'm trying to keep myself and my camera protected at the same time so sorry.

I just walked to... what was the name?

Shinjuku Gyoen

It's a garden basically

It's raining so I'm not sure it's the greatest of ideas... yet another garden

after yesterday's one. Yesterday's was really cool though I don't regret it

There you go: Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden

How much is it?

Admissions fee... oh it's ok it's 200 yen

Yeah that's it right behind me

Since yesterday's garden was such a success I thought I'd try this one

But with the weather, I'm afraid I'll just get ruined

After this I'll probably go to Shibuya anyway so..

Let's do this

I want to see... let me see what type of thing..

Cuz I expect that since it's autumn going on to winter

things like chrysanthemum beds

Will there be any chrysanthemums available?

English landscape garden.. hm I think I know what that looks like

Traditional Japanese garden, I will go there

There's a Japanese tea house.. a bunch of Japanese tea houses

Rest areas

Ponds.. ike is a bond I think. I-K-E, ike

Yes I think so

Let's go... ok so I need to go...

I need to take a left and then the second right.

I'm getting good at reading maps guys. Sorry my face is so close to you

There you go. You're protected but I'm not

This is what I'm going to have to cross

I really don't want to have wet shoes for the rest of the day

But I want to get on that bridge. And I paid my entry so...

Oh no...

And swing

Ok this time maybe that way

Made it

Yas!

At least you can get this view

And you can walk with me on this bridge

Ok let's just do it like this again. Won't even focus -oh there we go.

And I'm already heading out because I do want to go to Shibuya today

it was the main goal. It's just that I noticed that I hadn't gone to this garden yet

in Shinjuku and I just...

I wanted to do it. I wanted to go to the Temple (Shrine!) and this garden

And to Isetan turns out

And the main focus for today is Shin -I am in Shinjuku!

I mean Shibuya, Harajuku

Since I went to a really nice garden yesterday, I did a short tour of this one today

So that was Uobei Sushi in the road right right behind me in Shibuya

And it was really fun to order and to see things slide by

The sushi is standard quality as it's not hand rolled

It was still good, quite tasty

So now I'm going to stop here because I'm going to have to walk into a crowd of people again

Because this is Shibuya obviously

Right behind this wonderful... you can't see what I mean but

These girls, whoever they are

Now I'm going to go to Shibuya 109

I'm going to go to Purikura No Mecca

And then... oh I still have to show you the crossing, I haven't properly seen it up close and Hachiko

It's what I'm going to do now

Just went to Shibuya 109. That's it behind me

I was just going to have a look and then I found Etude House which is a Korean brand

And you know I've really started to enjoy Korean brands so I had a look in there and a little shop

Bought a little something even though I said I wouldn't shop anymore

But more interestingly I got to experience and check out Japanese fashion

I expect that fashion here is more on the young side because what I've seen so far in other shops were more

subtle and a little more dressy and these are more like more ruffles and colours

and fur, I saw a lot of faux fur in there

So it's really interesting

I'm going to stop rambling. You guys are going to be like 'stop talking and do things'

I'm sorry. It's raining, it's hard to film with all these people

It's not that interesting for you guys at the moment so I can only update you about my own experience and what I'm seeing

And right now I'm seeing a lot of buildings, a lot of people, a lot of rain

And a lot of stores

Wow. So far Shinjuku and Shibuya have been most busy

Also it is Sunday so that could be the reason

I haven't been to Harajuku yet that would be next. Very soon. I still need to check out a few things here in Shibuya

Ok let's go

Hachiko and me

I'm in, yay

Ok, next location. Gah!

It's my second time crossing. The first time I just followed the crowd with all the umbrellas

I closed my umbrella, it's not even raining that much, it's barely raining

I'm at the front of the crowd

I'm going to try and find a spot though I think all the cafes around here which have a view will be filled

probably full up so...

I don't know guys

But we're crossing soon so...

This is your chance to experience this with me

Are you ready?

Here we gooo

This is it guys, I'm in the middle

Here's your shot

I'm looking like an absolute moron

But I did it, I went in the very middle of the Shibuya crossing

Yay

Forget it guys, there isn't any room to get a spot with a view

There are way too many people and it's raining out so it's full up

usually there's the Starbucks view and the l'Occitane Cafe view

And probably some other though these are the two I know of

I had a quick look from the outside and it looked full and then I went a bit closer and there's a huge queue so..

Let's forget about that and move on to our next location. I don't even know what it is but I think I'm leaving Shibuya

I think I'm going to Harajuku

It's almost 5 pm and if I want to go to shrines there'll be closed, if I want to go to gardens

I'll have the same thing as yesterday where they'll be just closing or closed

I'll figure something out

Guess what guys, what did I tell you

That it was going to close like the same thing as yesterday

Expect that I've just arrived and they're closing the gates right in front me so

Not even a few minutes left, they are literally closing the gates

I'm going to have to research what my next stop is because I wanted to go here

and then to Yoyogi Park which is kind of part of it

But that is a no go

I actually only have two days left in Tokyo

So I'm going to have to round up all the things I still want to do

And try to do them in about 2 days

I haven't even gone in the Tokyo area, the actual Tokyo area

I guess it's the Center? The Nihombashi area. I haven't even done that

Tsukiji... ok everyone is looking at me. I'm done.

I think this is the Omotesando area

And I'm going to go down this street. Don't know what it is but it was recommended on the map so I'm going to have a look in there

I'm going to explore this cute little road right now and then after that I'll probably head back to

Shinjuku where I stored my backpack in a locker

And then I'm going to head back to my hostel, check back in and then

I might even go to an onsen tonight

Feeling brave

I'm about to have my takoyaki!

There we go and it's raining so...going to eat these fast

and then move on

Let's see

Can you see them? They're dancing

Are these called bonito flakes?

It's probably really hot. Yeah can you see that?

if my battery dies, I'll have to let you know some other way that it was delicious because it probably is

It's super hot

But super good

The reason I'm holding my camera this way is because the street is tiny

So if I'm doing this and someone pases

It's inconvenient

Anyway I'm going to enjoy these

And I'll put you away for now because it's really starting to rain

And my takoyaki, myself and my camera are getting soaked

Japanese Convenience Store Food Taste Test // Healthy Food Haul in Japan - Duration: 18:26.

What's up everybody, welcome to another Japanese convenience store food taste test.

If you want to experience a healthy food haul in downtown Tokyo then you've come to the

right place.

What we got here is a diverse array of Japanese foods from Natural Lawson Japan and personally,

I think it's pretty nice.

So grab yourself a treat and take yourself a seat because the show is about to begin.

So I was sprinting around the mean streets of downtown Tokyo but to be perfectly honest,

despite that nice weather, I was feeling a tad worse for wear.

I don't exactly know why I was feeling like that but truth be told it bother me a lot.

In fact, it bothered me a REAL lot.

So to help my body recover from that sorry state, I figured I best be doing a healthy

Japanese food taste test for a change.

And there ain't no better place to do that than a Natural Lawson, baby.

So I sprinted on inside that Natural Lawson not because I wanted to but because I actually

needed to.

I needed to treat my body right with a little healthy chow for a change.

Can you actually blame me?

So I started scoping out those primo healthy prepared foods because you know what they

say, you're body is your temple, right?

And what better way to honor that temple than to animalistically consume buckwild bento

boxes such as these?

Strange as it may sound, I get the feeling that this choice quality chow was designed

specifically for me, and WOAH baby.

Look at this vegi meshi action.

Apparently this is a keema curry sans rice.

Even though that's an Indian food item it's kind of Japanesey in a way.

They got a lotus root and some kabochya in there so I figured I'd give it a whirl.

But I still want to get myself a Japanese food item so let's see what other prepared

food items they got around here.

And what's this?

I think we got soup up in this mother.

It's not really looking Japanese enough to me so what do we got here, we got us some

sandwiches?

And man oh man, take a look at that quality.

We got a pork cutlet and an eggyweg sandwich and those are some pretty nice sandwiches

if I do say so myself.

I'll tell you baby, among the Japan convenience store lineup, Natural Lawson is one of the

best places.

I mean look at all these delectable treats they got here.

They got some kabochya salad AKA pumpkin salad.

I mean, you do have to pay up a tad for these items but what do you expect when you're paying

for the best.

And holy geeze, what's that?

What in the world is that?

Here we got us a 4-part salad combo that's filled with deletable treats that look good

enough to eat.

I have a feeling this is the salad combo I've been searching for in my life so I slam dunked

that mufo into my cart.

Now, no nutritionally nourishing noms are complete without some healthy hydration so

I started checking out the hot drinks section.

And what do you got here, we got us some straight tea and we got us some lemon tea, which is

okay, but I wanted something a tad more exotic.

And what's this?

We got some hot pumpkin potage in a can and we got us some clam soup in a can.

That's seems pretty intriguing but that's not the kind of hydration I had in mind.

And what is this?

Seems to me like we got us some kuri hojicha action.

That's some chestnut-infused roasted green tea so I figured I'd give that a go as well.

And after that I still felt like I needed to one more item, just one more.

I wanted a sweet treat that was both delicious and healthy and what we got here's a green

tea latte flavored brownie.

I'm thinking that maybe, just maybe that nuclear-green color's actually coming from some food coloring

action.

So I decided to check out some other snacks.

Here we got some individually-wrapped mochis filled with custard pudding.

That's looking pretty oishii if you ask me but that doesn't really fit the healthy bill.

I mean, I'm not trying to be a health nazi over here, I'm just trying to stick with the

them and I'm trying to reward my body for a change.

I think I'm in the wrong aisle actually.

I'm in the unhealthy sweet snacks aisle when I should be in the healthy sweet snacks aisle.

And here we go, now we're talking.

We got us some sweet potato macrobiotic cookies.

I've heard of microbiotics before but macrobiotics?

I had to look that up.

Apparently macrobiotics is some kind of diet derived from Zen Buddhism.

I don't know the exact details but it seems like a Paleo diet with an Eastern twist.

The macrobiotic diet is based on natural foods that have a balanced yin and yang.

I mean, I know what you're thinking, that sounds like something I just made up but it's

actually true, baby.

Now, what we got here are some macrobiotic biscuits made by Morinaga and everything I've

ever had from this company has always been good.

So you know what?

I think I'm going to try these macrobiotics out.

So I put that item into my cart, made my purchase, and then sprinted on

back

to

my apartment.

Travel to Asakusa (Japan) - Duration: 2:16.

Hello everybody!

So today we will talk about my first travel in Japan in this video!

So we began to visit Asakusa district in North-east of Tokyo

we saw the great temple of Senso-ji dedicated to Kannon goddess

Be careful in Japan and China, she is a goddess but in Tibet or in India he is a god

He or she represents the compassion

To enter in the beautiful temple sanctuary, we crossed the Kaminari-mon

It's the gate of thunder in Japanese

It is so famous because there is a huge red lantern in paper suspended ! It's the biggest in Japan!

The lanterne measures 4 metres and its weight is 670kg

Knowing that the sumo's weights is average 145 kg,

The lantern weights like 4 sumos and severals kittens

So to say, I don't want this falls on my foot!

Once we passed the gate we arrived on the Nakamise-dori, the merchant street. The street continues until the temple.

With 30 billions of tourists every year, we feel like in a subway when you come back from the office!

Anyway, it's a super place if you want to buy holiday memories!

Kimonos or gifts for people who you don't like them and them you don't say to them

Maneki-neko so cute which are moving their paw.

katanas because everybody can be a samurai, yes even you behind your screen

And mostly, mostly, there are lot of food to taste: dango, dorayaki ect ;

it was so cool, we visited it twice. The first under the rain and the second time not.

when we were in the temple, we can buy charms for everythings:

fortune, health, love

money, this is 500 yens the charm!

Otherwise, you can choose to randomly draw a prediction! There are in english-written

In summary you shake a box during long time, very long time.

After a moment, a little stick exits

There is a number written. You need to pick up a prediction inside the drawer with the same number !

So, I don't say what is my prediction because it's a secret

On the other side, if you are unlucky and your prediction warns you never will ate raclette this winter,

you can tie it here to cancel the bad luck!

So if you like this video, don't be shy. Like and share this video

I let you enjoy the rest of the video

XOXO and see you soon
