Auto news on Youtube Dec 30 2017

The place we are heading to now is the aquarium.

- Aquarium? - Yeah, go have a look.

Let's go.

Pokemon Center? That's funny though.

I think it's a residential building.

Might be a house, the whole building. - What are you talking about? - The Pokemon Center.

F*** bro that's not the Pokemon Center, that's the Elite Four.

Whoa, ice cream for 250 Yen?

Oh no, it's 25% milk.

- How much do you think the ticket would cost? - 1000. - 1000? So expensive?

Should be around 1000.

- So expensive? - I don't know, we shall go check it out. What if when we're there...

すみません, not opened です.

Opened.

Is it free?

Wait, can we film here?

It's here, right?

This one. Ordinary ticket.

- Yeah. - 1400 Yen.

But can we film here? What if they don't allow?

- Hi, can we use a camera? - Camera.

- Okay? - Okay. - Yeah.

What's the time now? S***, no clock.

No watch.

- We can rush to this show. - 4pm.

We'll see the feeding, eat for three seconds and we'll go.

She's helping me to count the change.

- So cute. - Both are different. - Yeah.

Which one do you want?

- Any, I want this... - I want...

- F***. - It's okay, take it.

- Take it. - I want the other one.

Okay, okay.

Thank you.

Thank you.

- Miyajima Public Aquarium. - It's been awhile for me.

- Oh, I'm kinda sick of it. - Really?

I'm constantly vlogging, went to a ton of aquariums already.

What the f*** is this?

Ew, what's this?

Penis worm.

- Penis worm? - Really. - Penis fish you mean. - It's brother.

Japanese version.

There are fishes here too.

- Of course. - Pufferfish?

- Do you know the color of it's blood? - I don't know.

It's blue.

Look at this.

He's enjoying his nap.

Is this real?

This is freaking real, you know?

It's preserved.

This is real. Do not touch giant squid.

From original size.

At 1000m deep it will be like this.

Are you kidding me?

- Go touch the eyes. - No, no. - Come on.

They want you to wash after you touch, not before you touch.

I've touched it already.

What the f*** why are you drooling?

What the hell, look at this.

This is some giant octopus, you know?

If you got sucked into it, you won't be able to come out.

This is my hand, and my hand is quite big.

It's eating sand and puking it out, look.

Look, look.

Did you saw that?

It took a bite and spit it out.

Again, one bite and spit it out.

You see, eat eat eat. It's helping to clean up.

- You see that? They all went in. - Whoa, they're cute.

See this.

What is this?

Mudskipper.

Fight, fight.

Finding Nemo.

Nemo is here, a lot of them.

But then now, no more Nemo. Now finding Dory already.

This one is huge! The poop is as big as me.

- Where is it? - It's here. - The water is so cloudy.

What the f***...

- Why did it disappear? - It's still here, still here. This is an illusion.

It went back, f***.

Right now they are having some seal training.

With the seal. And I think that's the instructor guiding the trainee.

How to like, do a seal performance.

- I think the last show has ended at 3.30 so we won't be seeing anymore shows for this. - Too bad.

But at least we got to see the feeding of otters.

So that's, that's not that bad.

Please buy the coins.

Coin drop.

So what? Drop it in and then?

No, you'll have to drop it into the cup.

- What's next? - Then you will win this doll.

F*** man, I could just take it down like this.

You have to drop it accurately.

Into the cup.

- It's easy. - Easy? Try it.

Do you believe I can do it?

I think it's 1000 per coin.

1000 per coin?

It's 30 Yen.

So, wanna try?

- No. - Try it. - I'm going to the restroom and you're... - Hang on.

How much is this? Oh, this machine is 30 Yen. F***.

- No, this is 300 Yen each. - What? 300 Yen?

You must be crazy, 300 Yen?

Madness.

So right now we're gonna go check out the shrine.

And the temples, that we missed just now.

So ladies and gentlemen.

Let's teleport there, in 3, 2, 1.

You can eat it.

You know what we're eating? Their meat.

Otter meat.

You can give it a try, otter meat.

It's not their meat. Just touching their fur.

Is it nice to touch?

I'm shocked, I thought we're eating Sashimi.

NAKANO BROADWAY: THE HEALTHY NERDISM by Sebastiano Serafini in Japan - Duration: 12:39.

T-shirts , only the guide cost 150€!

I had that game!

what will there be inside?

On a rainy day Andrea and Giuliano did meet Licia

but if you're in Japan, on a rainy day and to meet somebody dressed up as she, doesn't bother you

you can spend a day at the fantastic Nakano Broadway!

a closed shopping gallery that is full of nerd shops

above that, that was the place where Seba met Lilletta and her boyfriend for the first time

so, he will do a tour of the places that we visited together.

here we are at the Nakano Broadway!

this is like the entrance

we are getting closer to the heart of this gallery

so, let's go

Hello guys I'm Sebastiano and welcome to my new video!

there are a lot of shops, this one is new

-this is like a bread stuffed with cheese and curry

-it's good!

it melts in your mouth...personally I wouldn't eat it...

we are getting closer, here we have a game store

here I bought the charger for the Nintendo DS

because I needed a Nintendo DS for playing Project Zero 3D

this one was my favourite game, Super Mario World

I have this one!

however the game stores here open and close

here we have Princess Peach in a wedding dress, I don't know if he get merry to Mario or not in the game...

look how beautiful!

don't brake it!

if I give this one to one of my friends for christmas, would that be great?

then we have this circlet with a star on it

this one is great, because you can use it for christmas and also for New Year

and then also for easter (the same as in Mario odyssey - Peach)

then we have...

I bought one in the 100yen store, it's cheaper than this one! (1000yen)

the 100yen is better!

what does this thing do here, during xMas?

and then we have demon rabbits

these are some perfect gloves

let's continue, there in the front we can see the entrance of the broadway

we finally arrived! this is the entrance!

I try not to focus on the faces and if I do, I do it unconsciously

sorry, I try to point in the air

you enter and you find Reiji Matsumoto

you can also buy it, but don't ask me how much it cost

but look at this enviable V-line!

I like this store very much,

I usually go inside and ask 1000 things, but I never buy something

they have a lot low-cost computers

these pens are nice...see I usually end up buying unuseful things

I'm going to buy one, they're cute, no?

what are these?

- these are dreamcatcher and yo-yo together

ah true!

with this you have 10 things in 1

- maybe there is some music inside?

-nope

I don't think they're original

let's go on

I met Lilletta here for the first time

and we went in this Miyama coffee shop

and we took a coffee

and the inside is really warm!

there are a lot of action figures!

various characters of lego star wars

and they're very expensive

45€! I don't know this character

here we have the Knights of the Zodiac

then Super Mario

here we have all kind of Mangas!

new thing...you can read them, it's a thing that you can do in Japan

it's not rude

well, here the people read and buy it also,

in Italy it's the opposite...

in places where I can't film, I'm not going inside...

however, you have the possibility to rent monthly a space in a shop window

and then you can put everything that you want to sell

I saw this one...I don't know if they did it especially for the opening of the Ranma cafe

a few days ago, it's nice, no?

this is Alien right?

is this thing/shape right?

-I think so, he has a bit of scoliosis...

look at these original mouse pads!

do you recognize some? look at those prices!!

why are these 2 cheaper than this one?

- it's a limited edition

in my opinion, because they have some fake boobs, I'm pretty sure!

Mike Tyson, let's see if we have his ear behind

no it's sad...

here we have the Miyazaki corner

I adore this character in particular

I was in a hotel in Nara, and I felt like in the Spirited Away movie

if you haven't watched my video of Nara, watch it, it's on my channel!

what are these, magnets?

Splatoon, I adore it!

there are a lot of things! some boxes for the animals!

little monkeys!

I'm a bit afraid of these dolls!

a fan made me as a doll, and it's a bit frightening!

look at his perfect body shape! but a very thin waist

and then all matching clothes

and matching hair

and then I imagine that you paint on the eyes?!

you buy the eyes, and attach them on?

- I don't understand...you cut them and stick on

these are better, we find two types of heads

If you're interested let me know

this shop is called Parabox, if you want to visit it

here they basically buy your old things and then they resell them

you see, he is selling all his Nintendo games...

here they sell also headphones

street fighter, why? do you need to paint them by yourself?

-it's 80's style

and here we have various ice cream

what are these? - some old Game Boy's

is this a magnet?

this one is from Final Fantasy 14

and here we have all Final Fantasy characters

this one is from FF9

cloud from FF10, they cost around 15€!

cloud cost 23€!

how is it possible that Rinoa cost more than Yuna?

Yuna from FFX2 was not so good!

I did the curry of Dragon Quest!

-how was it? disgusting!

but the character is funny

I remember she, when she sneezed she turned blond!

if you know her name, please write that in the comments!

I really hope that they do a crossover of the Tiger Man

and dust off also Mister NO

ok, that's enough...

ah, the sad paintings of the children are not here anymore, I wanted to comment them...

sometimes you see some beautiful drawings from the children...

here a friend of mine did buy a huge robot

the boyfriend of Lilletta

1200 € for this robot??

here we have all Sailors

look look, I also found the Live-action sailors!

with our bamboo chick queen, do you remember?

but she's not like this, but it's ok...

let's go and explore this fantastic store!

and what do we have?

other Sailor Moon action figures

they all cost a lot, exept for the hated Chibiusa

they practically throw her at you!

they like all cost around 20€

and Chibiusa only 3€!

is it a case? -I don't think so...

now we're going in a soundtrack shop,

since I write them also...so, I'm really happy to go in!

here we have some really old soundtracks, from the 80's

you can also see it from the covers!

what is this?

ok, we also have some recent movies

we are searching the soundtracks of Fatal Frame/Project Zero

let's see if we find them, but I think they will cost me a kidney!

these are all the video games

how much?

- this one cost 15€

this is the soundtrack of Donkey Kong

- in theory this one you can buy it only online from the Nintendo shop...

this is a really expensive shop, where they sell only old games

2500€ for a Nintendo game?

I had that game!

I have some of these, but not the japanese version

look, only the guide cost 150€ !

what is this game&watch?

I wasn't alive...during my time there was the game boy color

question: the Wii doesn't have the manual included?

- yes, but not always, it's to save money...

yes, because I asked in some stores, but I didn't knew that!

- they sell it like this, see?

it's heavy!

these disturbing dolls are following me!!!

nobody played like at these games, I didn't had that much fun playing it^^

why is this CD so big? ah it's the vinyl?

this one is a nice game, but it's difficult

the first levels are easy and then it becomes harder...

here we have also Mario Kart 8, but its more expensive

here we have some Cosplayer pictures

-there are some mini LP of the Animes, do you know it?

yes

- they're like mini disc

cool!

here we have some gatchas! should I try another one?

let's do it fast!

I choosed one from all of them

this one...the mistery gatcha, the one for adults

it cost 1€ more,

but I will be sure that it gives me more satisfaction

I also wanted to say that they can also be named "lucky drop"

so it's like a lucky drop...

so, I want to see how lucky I am

let's turn

the ball is different than the others and its color is completely black!

what will I find inside?

what is this?

a pair of underpants

nice no? also with a hole

let's see the instructions

so, this is the front, and this the back

it's also nice as present

I will do a live give away of this ball

I will practically leave it in the place where I found it

I will leave it here!

so, this video finishes like this

I remind you that if you want this "lucky drop", you can find it here

I hope you enjoyed this video and don't forget to come and take this lucky drop!

you will find it exactly here! on the Nakano Broadway

in this adult gatcha

See you tomorrow with another video! don't forget to share

to put a like and to comment here under!

A Very Merry Christmas in Japan [Japanese, Eng Subs] - Duration: 14:39.

Good morning everyone.

It's Iris.

I think I'm going to do something different today and record in Japanese.

Why?

Because today is Christmas Eve.

I find that Christmas is very different in Japan compared to overseas.

In Japan, Christmas seems to be for couples.

While in Canada, it's supposed to be family time.

In my case, I eat dinner with my parents and see a movie.

On Christmas day we wake up early and open presents.

People usually have a family gathering on Christmas day.

This year I'm in Japan so I can't spend time with my family

But I hope to make the best of Christmas anyway.

It's still Christmas Eve but I think we're gonna open the PS4.

What do you think?

We went with white.

This is our present to each other.

Are you a kid? Lol

Whoa, look

What?

Oh, that's cute.

Alright, we're going to pick up the cake we ordered.

We're back home!

I think we'll play games for a bit and then make a nice dinner.

I'm gonna open in.

Was this in the closet all day?

Is it still okay?

Oh!

There's a card attached.

Apple!

It smells like pine tree!

Pretty.

Thank you.

We don't have a fireplace but we can enjoy this view.

On Netflix.

Tonight we're making a delicious steak dinner.

My first Beaujolais

It's a cheap one, there's no cork.

Lol whatever.

This is our Christmas dinner!

Yum!

Let's open it.

My first Christmas cake!

-It's not your first.

Yes it is.

We don't eat Christmas cake back home.

-No, I ate cake at your house with your family.

That wasn't really a Christmas cake…

-It was Christmas cake.

Cute!

Merry Christmas

Looks good.

Let's have a bite.

Yum!

It's not sweet.

Japan's desserts are the best.

It looks like an emoji ;p

Good morning!

We stayed up playing games last night and I'm still tired.

Let's get straight to opening presents.

Okay, here's the first present.

Looks good

You can open that one.

-It's kind of heavy.

-Gold?

-Did you give me gold?

-What's that?

-One line a day

-Seems interesting, thank you.

-Probably though, I know what in here.

-From the size.

I wonder what it is~

Just break the wrapping paper

-I can see the theme… tree themed box

Break the wrapping paper.

You put water in here and then put the lid on.

-This is socks right.

What are "socks"?

How did you know??

-It looked like socks.

Wow I wonder what this is.

What a mysterious package…

-No idea

What is this?

It's really pretty!

It has a wine, cell phone, and ipad holder omg

-Okay, let's go to the bathroom

Wow, I'm looking forward to using this.

-Iris, you should go in.

No, I'm not getting in the bath….

And lastly we have this really big package…

Oh, it's from Zozotown.

Mysterious package~

What's this?

It's super cute!

Cats!

I love cats!

It's… hair mousse?

-Iris, it's a sample or something, I didn't buy it.

Ugh thanks for the mousse lol.

Wow, pretty!

It's a work bag.

-You can put a card there.

Can I fit a file in here?

-Yep it will fit.

Nice, my files we're getting all mixed up in my bag

So this is really useful.

Thanks.

We're gonna go see some outdoor illumination now.

It's Gluhwein (hot spiced wine)

It's really strong.

There's also a skating rink behind me.

We're having dinner now.

I'm going to have a Christmas cocktail

This is our view

Cheers, Merry Christmas

We're home now.

It was a very merry Christmas.

Everyone, how did you spend Christmas this year?

Leave a comment below.

See you next time.

I hope to the noise outside didn't be heard

yes, is heard

yes, is heard, right? :'(

hello everyone welcome to my youtube channel again. I'm Diana

well, some months ago a company called "Tokyo Treat" contacted me

I obviously accept, I thought, they will send me a box with cute things from Japan. Of course, yes

and so that this doesn't leave the theme of the channel that is drawings

I thought that I could make a drawing based on what the box contains

I still don't know what it contains, it just arrived, and I'm very excited to open it

this is the Yume Twins box

so let's see what's inside

aww is for.. give me the pillow

*singing Sakura's opening again*

there is. the Sakura pillowcase

I won't put that on again, I'll leave this

Cardcaptor Sakura was of my first animes. Just like I am so into Yuri On Ice, I was with Sakura

the last one. is a... i don't know the name of this thing

I thinks is.. gafette?

*no, gafette is other thing*

yeah, right?

no guys, I don't have idea, I don't want to lie to you

well, that's it. As I told you, was kawaiies things

and as I told you too I will do an illustration inspired in this things

Thanks you to Tokyo Treat and Yume Twins for the box. I'm grateful

is so very cute, there's so many kawaii things

d now let's go with the drawing

first I made my sketch with pencil as always

and this time I had a very clear idea of the drawing. I wanted it to be manga style

cute themed, to be the same as the Yume Twins box

after de sketch I did the line art with fine point marker color sepia

as I always told you is so very hard for me record the sketch because when I sketch I put my head too close to the paper

as you could see in the video, sometimes my head appears. Sorry but is so hard for me record the sketch

I always put my head too close to the paper

by the way, I feel so much comfortable with the line art because I used to get very nervous when I delineated

because, I don't know, I used to felt like I was ruining the drawing as I told them in past videos. my hand used to shake so much too

I was horrible, but now I feel more comfortable delineating

It was because I had practice a lot so that fear disappeared little by little

for this drawing I will use a sheet of this 300 gram watercolor block

As I was saying, I made this drawing inspired by the things that came in the Yume Twins box

at the beginning for the color I wanted to use Copic Markers. but as you know I don't have many, I have some but not all the range of colors

so I decided to use watercolors that as you know before I hated them and now I love them

and somethings that I can tell you guys, that I lived by myself, in my own experience

is that I don't like some art materials at first, I even think that I hate that material

or that I will never be good or that I will never be able to use them well

for example, the first time that I use the pastel colors, I HATED THEM

yes. As you heard, I used to hate the pastel colors. After have done so many cute Disney drawings

you will not believe it, but I used to hate them

I didn't like them because they stain a lot, and everything always get dirty with the dust of pastel colors

the watercolors too, I used to hate them and now I love them!

also with the Copic Markers

I watched on internet that these markers worked beautifully and the Japanese made wonders with these markers

and when I had them in my hands I did not like them that much. The first time that I used them I didn't like them

but after practice with them I started to love them and now are of my favorite art supplies

so, if you feel like you don't know some technique, maybe you just need to practice a little bit more

to become attached to the technique

for this drawings I wanted to use soft and pastel colors

I had a lot of fun drawing the dress, because I had not drawn clothes for a long time

It entertains me to make the folds, the waves that the dresses have

It took me a while to decide what colors I would use in each thing, to know if it will combine or not

and what I did was, first paint the things that I already knew what colors will use

for example the plushies, everything that came in the box obviously because I couldn't change the color of course

the flowers too, I already knew that It was gonna be pink and the leafs green so I painted them

and it was clear for me that the dress was gonna be between pink and lilac

and the background blue

It took me a while to decide the hair color. First I thought of putting a fantasy color.

like pink, purple, blue, something like that

but after analyzing it well, I realized that they were not going to match as well as I expected

they weren't going to match well with the other colors

so in the end I decided to put a natural color: brown because it combined perfectly

when you don't know what color put on your drawings, what I do is do a color tests on a separate piece of paper

so I see if the colors look good or if they don't have harmony with others

also I used Copic Sketch markers for some color details in the cheeks, in the hair, in the roundy cat

also some shadows with a purple pastel Copic. I put a lot of shadow with this copic

and also I used some wood pencils to put some shadows in the eyes and cheeks of the girl

as you see, in this drawing I made the lineart with color sepia, l mean like... light brown

this is to give a smoother view to the drawing, so it didn't have so much black

that as you can see in the drawing have just a little touch of black that is the spot in the eye of the roundy cat

I loved to do this drawing because lately I liked to draw based on something or some theme

almost like a challenge to say in someway

make a drawings as you wish but following a theme. This is somethings that the illustrators do

we have to draw based on some idea. Our work is illustrate this idea and to be understood

make it "possible" so to speak

So if you want to be illustrator this is what you have to do, for that you have to work and study

make reality and illustrate the ideas of others

the challenge to draw the idea of other person and to be undertood

and well, this is the final result

so that's all, I hope you liked it

if you want to know more if the Yume Twins box, you can buy it for you, for a gift to someone or just for curiosity

Is interesting. I like that surprise boxes reviews that sometimes some youtuber do

I don't know I find them very interesting

so, when they told me that they wanted to send me one of this boxes i was so very happy, so...

I hope you liked it

the links if you want to buy on of the Yume Twins boxes

and they pages... pages?.... they networks! I leave you they networks in the video description

I hope you liked it, see you next time and see you next level

*can I keep the cat coin purse?*

you want the coin purse?

but loooook~

KICKED OUT OF JAPAN! (i'm sorry) 🇯🇵 - Duration: 16:04.

go follow ya boy randomly bonkers

i'm logan and i'm better than jake paul

Hey guys, so as you guys know, I'm a little sick, my voice is kinda gone...

But God bless it, tomato!

I made a promise when I started vlogging.

To deliver you guys the most entertaining, exhilarating, incredible content EVER!

And goddammit, I'm gonna do that.

So, today in Tokyo, I put on my Maverick sweatshirt.

I put on my Gucci jacket.

Because, as usual, it's gonna be an epic day.

If for some reason, you find yourself unhappy or unfulfilled,

It's definitely because you're not in the Logang.

Now, I have good news. It can all end now, all you gotta do is subscribe.

Join the strongest family on Youtube... [sigh]

Because it's lit every single day, whether I'm sick or not.

Now, I will say. I do feel a little better.

Maybe that's because last night I used my brain for one second.

Me and the squad decided to go to a Japanese doctor.

[weird af noises]

Brendan: Do you feel better yet?

Logan: No, I feel like I'm dying still.

Doctor: What you have is mainly a sinus infection and a throat infection.

One tablet twice a day with a meal, and into each nostril 4 times a day

Brendan: You're gonna get better!

Logan: I hope so.

Wow!

Yeah... Enough drugs to kill a horse, but good thing I'm not a horse.

Hopefully this stuff will heal me.

Now, I will say...

International travel. Not probably the smartest thing to be doing when you're this sick.

But I made a conscious decision, that if I'm gonna be sick,

I would rather be sick in Tokyo than at home, guys look at this view.

Like, come on bro, how can I miss out on this? This is amazing!

Okay, I'm gonna shower off and then meet up with the squad for some breakfast.

Andy!!!

Hey, Andy.

Andy: Did you get some rest?

Logan: I did, I did. I feel better.

I took enough drugs to kill a horse.

Andy: Oh!

Logan: Can I just have you look around for a second?

Oh my gosh, Tokyo!

Andy: We're in Tokyo! Like what is going on?

Logan: Brendan! Morning, mister.

Brendan: How are you feeling, dude? You feeling better?

Logan: I'm not feeling worse. You know what I'm saying? I'm like on the fence.

But to be honest with you, Brendan, ain't nobody got time to be sick, bro, we're in Tokyo!

Let's go eat.

Apparently, this isn't... Oh god, it's still so bad...

Apparently this isn't that traditional of Japanese meal.

Look they just got loaves of bread, I'll take the whole thing, thank you.

I think I found something it's gonna cure you.

That's so sick. Honey is good for the throat. I think I just need to take the whole thing

You already took a whole loaf of bread Oh at all

Thinking honor of being sick we're now gonna be selling fish. No, Logan Paul, Mass

I'm Logan Paul that cops last shot get your own sick mass and prevent the bubonic plague from spreading in your town

Good idea, what's the issue?

Okay, that's my bad. No. It's fine. You can please they got my honey. You got me. We're gonna Tokyo Cheers. Yeah

Talking about the color

This is our security will you have a flashlight?

Yolo gank don't attack us otherwise this shoe. She's gonna hit you with an iPad and blind you with a flashlight. Let's go slow, okay?

Low gang let's talk Tokyo right now

we are going to a district called the

Asakusa district

Specifically to the since OG temp that fun fact when I came to Japan like two years ago to do the splits this was one

Of the locations that I did it a more fun fact. I almost got arrested by Japanese police for doing a split that's correct

Hopefully, it's a little different this time this place is beautiful, so we're gonna explore some more. I just want to say

So Japan is definitely not used to vloggers watch

When I absolutely love this place because it's so beautiful, and he's talking about how beautiful it is can you get out?

I just got to be careful to not like disrespect the culture cuz lo getting Japan is all about the worse I

Know it'sit's true, so I got to take my choch levels and bring them down

Dump Americans have arrived hi

Everyone's so friendly listen the map emerges fire right what I think while we're in Japan we got a

Can we take this you know how we do

I'm in like the same spot that I came last time. It's full circle here anything. We can do

I'm now realizing. Why they tried to arrest me last year

What is this um you get the smoke next hour, and then your body your face a 12-8 clean up smoke, please

I'm going in for the sake of my future

It's the holy one this is for if you're a real piece of justin life

You can come here and clean yourself from being a piece of shit

So if you look behind me this is where you throw coins into the well we make a wish and they come true or even

Wish for I wish for health

happiness and hello bitches

You know this is what I'm talking about it looks like Andy's being taken away, what happened. What did he do no

She's saving the day with this flash slash did you do anything myself

Oh, it's the film Alex the vlog all right guys. We're gonna. See you back in a second

We're gonna put that camera down. You know how it is in Japan. They're all about the respect

We're gonna be respectful for a little bit

I know it's new but we got to do with sometimes my boy Frank warned me. He said Tokyo has to cool

I can't come back

He said Tokyo had the coolest koi pond koi pond so cool. They would put my koi pond to shame okay

What do you say we take one back to the United States

What do you say we get a GoPro

I needed

I thought they didn't know what vlogging was in Japan put the fish

excuse me I

Love your own. I have one myself, but I'm not Japanese

You know what's your name?

Right now we are going to what it's called the monster cafe

I have no HEC deal and literally none of us know what this means, but I have a feeling it's gonna be very Japanese

I had this dream last night already so hot medicine you take exact medicine

It doesn't make any sense this is the most Japanese thing I've ever seen in my life, you can get more Japanese

Kitties if you want you these expensive Jesus Copic you so we're just picking out what to eat

It's an interesting menu here. We got rainbow pasta and according to this is good this burger

It's blue, but it's good the non-drug e cocktail

And then in honor of cog we got to get a chihuahua cake

As weird as this sounds I actually don't need or want an explanation for this. I'm just gonna accept my president

Yeah, you guys look amazing you remind me of my mother

Why are you talking like that?

Melissa got the non druggie cocktail experiment. What exactly is in that?

a

Lot of drugs they lied they lie

The rainbow pasta burger has a face

It tastes like regular noodles, but I just like the way they look, so I think it makes it taste better, okay?

We're gonna inhale this food. Oh wait I forgot one thing, Chihuahua, Chihuahua

No

Big moves were exploring Tokyo

He's not sick oh

Good you heard. There's a cat cafe here

What's a cat cat? It's where you eat cats. I don't think that's right no

We're just gonna find out what allergic to cats. Oh. Oh you can't make it. I break out you can't be sweaty so money can

Feel it Wow that hokey, Oh is a real live cartoon

See you at all times. You're like little hat your hats like hovering above it so much smaller than everybody

It's my

Dream I know my boy manifested it and it happened kid your dreams do come true

When I say the revolution is real, it's not a joke

Okay

Look I what I'm gonna say next will disappoint you

I'm sorry in advance Tokyo's like a content overload, but that is though. We've already done so much stuff today

We've even done stuff that we haven't put on the vlog literally this place is content. Gold. Don't worry

We're getting it all. It's gonna be tomorrow's vlog so maybe not a part of the low game

Good smack the subscribe button in the face

You know let me smack in the face yourself a favor during the strongest family on the youtubes. We're going global

That's what we do

We go globe the Maverick revolution is real a movement of the crazy ones the different ones the ones who go right when everyone else

Goes left, but once you get kicked out of countries

WHAT'S UNIQUE about JAPAN? Ask Japanese girls & boys at Bunka fashion college about Japan - Duration: 10:03.

That's right!

You are wearing a checked skirt though.

Japanese celebrate that these clothes express the owners unique character.

And in Japan we accept that.

We have so many symbols in our language.

I see.

Hey guys and girls on Ask Japanese today we have come

to Bunka Fashion college for their

annual school festival.

Today we are gonna go and ask the stylish people here

what they think makes Japan so original.

So let's go and Ask Japanese.

We are speaking about Japan's originality.

What's so unique about Japan in your opinion?

There aren't that many statement clothes out there.

We used to have more extravagant styles before, like eyeball accessories.

But recently everyone is just wearing dark colors.

Even here at Bunka fashion school

I think there used to be

more people who really represented themselves in flashy styles

But recently everyone just wears darker colors.

Look we are both wearing black too. - Both of you are wearing black.

That's right. - You're wearing a checked skirt though.

Does this mean Japan's unique fashion is getting less these days?

It's declining in my opinion.

You say there are less unique styles...

but you are not wearing flashy fashion either...

So what's your reason for that?

Yeah why...

Well it's...

Because that it not in fashion right now.

It's not mainstream right now.

that might be the issue...

everyone is just getting swept away by the mainstream.

So everyone does the same.

They all follow one category.

At Bunka fashion school you see it but...

the Harajuku fashion style and the Neo Tokyo fashion style

those are very unique style genres of Japan.

I see those around. Those are unique styles of Japan in my opinion

When I walk around town I see..

a large amount of people who wear the fashion style they love.

And the people around who see them...

People won't say they look weird or strange,

Japanese celebrate that these clothes express the owners unique character.

In Japan we accept that.

I think that is a very Japanese trait.

Where else do you feel that Japan is very original, outside of fashion.

That would be etiquette.

Greeting people and polite communication.

Comparing Japan to countries abroad...

we are very strict about it.

I think that is quite original too.

I think the shape of our clothes is beautiful.

Japanese materials are of high quality too.

We can create clothes the way we imagined them.

You mean Japan focuses a lot on quality?

Yes.

(Smartphone lady walks through the picture)

Kawaii.

- Japan's kawaii is unique. - Comparing Japan's kawaii and the worlds?

What's different?

We all have our own unique styles.

In other countries, people tend to all wear the same styles.

But we can show our favorite styles.

We have similarities with China but we are still different.

And we are even more different compared to other countries.

We have the Japanese "WA" spirit.

What does that mean to you?

Well WA is...

It's not flashy... not flashy but also not to be found abroad.

It's something as simple as that.

What thing would express that to you?

Pine trees and other fauna.

Things that are not as flowery.

It's hard to express.

I think simplicity.

Green tea and other things like that.

What makes Matcha (green tea) so Japanese?

We have a love for simple things.

Maybe it's that.

It's a bit hard to describe.

Otaku culture is unique.

- For example? - Idols and anime.

Fanaticism and things like that.

We have so many symbols in our language.

Yeah that's true.

We have 3 alphabets, Kanji, Katakana and Hiragana.

True.

How many Kanji are there? - What?

I wonder how many.

I don't know. Japanese people probably don't know.

Uncountable.

(director) What's your favorite Kanji?

What my favourite Kanji.

Kamaboko (蒲鉾)

You said Kanji, you said Otaku, what do you think is unique about Japanese culture?

I think our freedom is part of why we are so unique.

Abroad, because of religions and such... people can't wear the things they want.

But in Japan, we can enjoy different fashion styles, and our freedom.

You're convincing. - Right.

We have freedom.

And having other people respect that, is one of our unique traits in Japan.

Our black hair is unique.

And Kimono right? - Yes Kimono.

I wonder what else. - Raw fish.

Yes eating raw fish and Sushi.

Sushi. Matcha.

Wasabi.

Natto (fermented beans)

What's original about Japan is ...

I saw it at the Paris Collection fashion event. People are dressed very well,

and they wear just high fashion brand.

The models are all really beautiful, super skinny and very tall.

Brands only pick models like that.

Looking at the Tokyo Collection fashion event in comparison

Many places choose models that value their own originality.

Even if they are not that tall,

the models will be unique. They might have their heads shaved,

they might be small but they use models with a cool face.

Or they have models with pink hair.

I think that stands out in Japanese fashion circles.

We value other's unique attributes

and make clothes that tell others about what unique means to us.

It's the skill to show yourself.

The designer's skill to bring out uniqueness in others is part of our skill.

Clothes are clothes but in fashion shows, going on stage wearing clothes with a large silhouette

or a very creative design

Actually the designers might be using fabrics that are not sewn

for our fashion show someone used wall paper for it

Designers are using special materials.

There are many shows like that.

Looking at the Tokyo Collection there are many voluminous items like that.

Rather than clothes to wear on stage

there are many costumes with gorgeous designs.

Thank you so much.

So. What is so original about Japan?

Obviously we asked this question at Bunka fashion college...

And most of the students are interested in fashion.

So the majority of answers came back about fashion

Saying for example, in Japan

a very unique thing is Harajuku fashion.

Or just the very creative fashion styles.

Even if there seem to be a bit less recently.

It is still a very original part

of Japanese culture because you can wear

what you like to wear and people don't give you a hard time

Meaning there is no religion that restricts people

from wearing Harajuku fashion

out on the streets. You can wear it without getting verbally or physically abused

People around you will...

not say anything negative or rather they will say something positive

and support it that way.

So people just let you be.

You can wear what you want to wear, no matter what.

I found that especially interesting, cause in Germany

I got verbally attacked a lot for wearing different things

even once physically

So people will pick up on you and will pick on you

and think it's ok to treat you a certain way

While in the UK what I found people will say "What are you wearing?"

But mostly many people were positive about.

Lots of older ladies saying "Oh is this a hen party? Why are you all dressed up?"

But still the safest and nicest way was wearing Harajuku fashion in Japan.

Because people just let you be.

The more creative you are and the more unique you are people just

go "That is that person. They do this. I do my thing."

There is no going over and actually finding the need to verbally attack someone

because it's that other person's life.

It doesn't necessarily have anything to do with your life.

And other people come to Harajuku to see the fashion styles and enjoy it.

and actually support other fashion people that way.

I know many girls here in Japan love Harajuku fashion

but they wouldn't wear it themselves but they

enjoy seeing other people wear it.

Even if you just go out on the streets...

that's not Harajuku fashion itself...

it's generally the fashion styles. People, girls and guys are dressed so well

Sometimes just sitting here and looking at what everyone else is wearing

is very entertaining. There is so much more creativity.

There is so many more styles.

There are so many more people trying other things.

While I find in the West we tend to have a monoculture

and what is in fashion, pretty much everyone will try and wear that.

Hopefully that part of unique Japanese culture, that creative expression,

their fashion, their styles, is something that is here to stay.

It has been changing recently but

I think we should make sure that it keeps on going strong.

That's what I wanted to say.

I hope you enjoyed this video. There is actually a lot about Fashion on our Ask Japanese channel

If you are curious of finding out about that...

there are lots of playlists and different videos.

We have quite a lot of videos so hopefully you will find your way to a playlist and enjoy

watching that. Thank you very much for watching and I catch you soon on Ask Japanese!

Bye!

thank you

This, would be my first and long-overdue trip to japan

I've always admired japanese culture and wanted to visit, my brother and i grew up with japanese anime

cars

video games

and a lot of electronics i

Know, my interest in hobbies are only a small small part of japan and i wanted to explore the country and get to know

the people i stayed in five homes across the country

My first host so she lived in title in near, akihabara

justino known as the electric town for all the gaps in tech in the area i

Wanted to start my visit with. Tokyo video, game show in chiba i woke up at 6 a.m.

on, my first morning to give myself enough time to figure out the complicated tokyo subway

system luckily i met soya and his friends on the way of the show on one of the trains i

Saw sonia wearing a gears of war t-shirt i'm pretty, sure it's going to tokyo video, game show

So i'm gonna take a chance and ask them for a little help

We communicated with our broken english and japanese and got to the show

in time

So he left with his vip

Passes and i was left to wait in a long line up for an hour in the baking hot sun without

Any, water nobody spoke, any english in the lineup and there's no vending machines at all

No, water fountains whatsoever and i was dying of dehydration, going into the show, finally at the tokyo video, game show

Had to fight through, some crazy, traffic the lack of fusion a subway system and a long

Odds lineup but finally here so let's go a little bit of a tour

I've always wanted to go since i was a little kid reading issues of electronic gaming monthly always wishing i could attend

Tokyo, game show is one of the largest gaming conventions that attracts. People from all around the world i

Really, wish i was able to trap more of the games when i was there the laughs and crowds, was just

ridiculous

An incredible amount of people go through tgs over the course of a weekend this, year saw almost

300,000 people attend the show

All i had in the morning, was a pancake snack, and some pocari sweat sports drink to get me through the day

The entire trip was full of hot and humid weather and i was dehydrated almost everywhere i went?

Vending machines and convenience stores but i got the, also known as gone being, we must save my life

When i was there and i chugged a ton of pocari sweat?

After the show

While staying, near akihabara

I, want to continue geeking out on vintage gaming over at super potato it's a gaming shop with

three floors of nostalgia a gamer sanctuary

i

ended my

Day with a

Few drinks over at a neighborhood pub called bar rock

The, bar was named after one of the main characters from a favorite anime of mine named black lagoon the, owner just loved the show

right bye

oh

like i

Had a good time talking with random people and ayah the bartender there who is a great translator

The more, we drank the more, we were able to communicate

It was a great way to start off my trip

And now it was time to go home and prepare for a very hungover bullet train ride to nara and guilt, oh?

When you see that means that the WC is warm

And you say, "Oh my God ...." it's so pleasant ...!

It will be very hot ... This is tofu.

-Is it good?

It has rice inside

Try it, it is very good.

Is it good? What does it taste like?

Like meat with rice ...

The best you can eat!

You won't want to eat anything other than

that delicious "Nikuman"

Where we are, Thais?

In the "Fushimi Inari Taisha"

It is a temple that is dedicated to the god of agriculture

To have prolific crops

to have prosperity

Many companies in Japan have their own "tori", which are those red doors

so the company does well

The symbol of this god is the fox

In the past, if you had foxes near your harvest, it was a good sign

because it meant that they would eat the mice

It was a good omen
