Auto news on Youtube Dec 28 2017

let's begin with some numbers, it's been 2 months since our idol did start with this adventure on YT

so, Seba is going to talk about his experience today.

it's cold, but such a beautiful place!

hello duck!

-if you fall it's the top!

I don't!

holidays in Trentino!

Hello guys and welcome to a new video of Sebastiano Serafini in Japan

as you can see I'm at this zen lake

let's pretend that I'm in Japan...

I'm here in Italy for the christmas holidays

it's cold, as you can see by my clothes

and you can see it also from the hand movements that my cameraman is doing

but everything is fine!

You know, there are mornings where you just wake up and think about ...

like you are in a new location, you are not so well dressed, but you say, whatever let's do the video

you have a reflex that has a better quality than usual

and people say do a video and so, I'm here doing this video

so, I thought...what am I going to talk about in this video?

let's talk about my 2 months on Youtube!

because it's 2 months that I load a new video every day

and not only 1 but like 4? I have this channel where I load every day a video at 2pm (GMT+1)

comment every day at 2 so I can answer to you on my other channel^^

- the Katsu channel where I upload like maybe 3 videos a day?

one video like at 8am, one at 8pm and other random videos during the day

well, it was a "strange" experience

that started as a joke and also because of Surrealpower and St3pny

but, I must say that I enjoy it more and more

and also this experience doesn't take away my work as music composer

in the sense that I can do everything in like 2 days a week

and it's also very rewarding, both economically and work-wise

so, this story of Youtube I see it more as fun

it's ilke playing the playstation, but the internet version

I feel also compelled in doing it

because I feel bad when a not so good image of Japan is shown

only because there are people that aren't able to explain everything good, like they don't know so much about the topic

and sometimes they even can't understand some japanese behavior

so, I'm happy to be able to share these useful things

I must also say that this experience is not so easy

because to upload videos on YT requires time

also to put on the tags, the font for the title, the cover...

it's not so easy

and you need also to share it on every social, otherwise nobody sees it

and also it was easier some years ago to put on videos on YT

I wanted to thank to the person that edits all my videos,

to the person that puts on subtitles,

it's a really big help for the not - italian people that don't understand

to be able to watch them,

and then I wanted to thank Lilletta for the beautiful intro

to the people that stand behind the camera

and especially to all the people that watch my videos!

without you I wouldn't be able to do them

I wanted to say Thank You

and also if we're not doing such big numbers,

but we are increasing!

however, I'm happy if I am able to put a smile on your face with these videos

So, I really hope you continue watching them

and I hope I can continue doing them

and if you have some questions or things you want to see, keep asking me

I will try to come against you.

I remind you that I put a video every day at 2pm

it's a constant appointment, where we can interact every day

and that's it...I thank you all

and greetings from Trento! don't forget to subscribe!

Japan to convert warship into fighter jet aircraft carrier amid China tensions - DAILY NEWS - Duration: 3:19.

Japan to convert warship into fighter jet aircraft carrier amid China tensions

JAPAN's government has ordered its helicopter carrier Izumo-class carriers to be converted

into ships capable of launching fighter jets amid tensions with China and North Korea.

The 248-metre long carrier would be the first Japanese vessels capable of launching warplanes

since the Second World War, marking a continuation in Japan's recent militarisation.

Following its defeat at the end of the Second World War Japan signed a deal promising not

to build any offensive weapons and to convert its military into a defensive force.

Now Japan's navy, known as the Maritime Self Defence Force, has drawn warnings from

China after appearing to be moving away from the peace agreement.

Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Hua Chunying said: "We urge Japan to do more that may

help enhance mutual trust and promote regional peace and stability."

China has warned the move may violate Japan's constitutional "no-war" clause.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has already drawn criticism after signing arms deals including

one with the US to buy 42 F-35A.

The F-35A needs a runway and would be unsuitable for a converted Izumo-class carrier, however,

it has been suggested that the order could be altered to include F-35Bs which are capable

of vertical take off.

Local media has put the price of conversion at £372million ($500million) a figure which

would rocket to £3billion ($4billion) if a similar ship, the Kaga, was added.

It is expected that the carrier would patrol disputed areas of the East China Sea where

China and Japan both claim sovereignty over the Senkaku Islands.

The expansion comes after it was revealed Japan is building missile batteries on an

island near China.

The move is part of a military expansion that will see anti-ship and anti-aircraft cruise

missile batteries joined by troop garrisons and radar installations installed on Japanese

islands.

The fortification comes as Beijing has aggressively sought to extend its power in the South China

Sea to wrestle control of shipping lanes and islands from other nations.

Ishigaki island mayor Yoshitaka Nakayama said: "Until China becomes a country with a normal

political system, we need to protect ourselves."

However preparations were met by protests from some residents of the island who fear

the move will make them a target for China's huge military.

Anti-base activist Shizuo Ota said: "We'd be wiped out in an instant."

Defence Minister Itsunori Onodera confirmed the missiles were needed to protect the island

from invasion.

HOT Tokyo Landmarks Appeared in Films [Hyesoo In JAPAN] - Duration: 4:37.

As kitchen samurai, we must present a great banquet

we can bring back the serenity the country once had

Watching films is a good way to learn the culture of a country

If you are a fan of Japanese films

go on a journey and revisit some memorable places appearing in the films

there are just so many mustn't-miss-places in Tokyo

Hyesoo compiled a list of top Tokyo attractions that have appeared in films

Remember the adrenaline-pumped racing scene

through the heart of Tokyo in 「The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift」

Remember Scarlett Johansson moving through a busy Tokyo crowd

in Sofia Coppola's 「Lost in Translation」

What do the two films have in common?

They both had a scene filmed at the famous Shibuya Crossing

a popular destination for young people

Shibuya Crossing has become one of Tokyo's landmarks

sometimes as many as 3,000 people crossing simultaneously

With huge crowds coming and going in all directions

scenes shot here are indeed very memorable

I too tried Shibuya Crossing once

and it felt like I was in a movie

As you drive out of Tokyo

you'll see a very big park known as Koganei Park

In the park is the Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum

Here you'll find restored buildings that were either destroyed in wars or by natural disasters

A walk in the park feels like being teleported back to Edo-era Japan

But, the top reason Hyesoo wants to visit this place is to see the 「Kodakara-yu」

This is where the grandmaster of Japanese anime

Hayao Miyazaki got his inspiration for the bathhouse scenes in 「Spirited Away」

It is said that Hayao Miyazaki especially came here to sketch the scenes he'd later use for his film

I feel like I'm in an anime myself

In Japanese films, scenes where young people pay visits to shrines

or attend celebrations wearing traditional yukata are a must-have

Kimonos are almost impossible to put on by yourself

nevertheless, everybody in Japan puts on their kimonos to celebrate holidays

Shops that rent kimonos are easy to find in Tokyo

Hyesoo toured Asakusa on a rickshaw while dressed in a kimono

It's my first time to ride in a rickshaw

You can even see Tokyo Skytree in Asakusa

I feel so happy!

At dusk, isn't there something poetic about Asakusa?

It's not easy to walk when you're wrapped so tight and wearing wooden slippers

But tourists would never miss such an exotic experience in Tokyo, right?

WHY JAPANESE CAN'T SPEAK ENGLISH: Asking Japanese girls and boys for their opinions - Duration: 10:03.

The thought of being bad at it just sticks.

Remembering all those words is difficult.

It just sounds like gibberish.

And I can't pronounce it.

Many people say that Japanese people can't speak English very well

now is that true or not? Let's go and Ask Japanese!

How is your English? - I suck at it

Why so? - I can't remember words.

I started learning it in middle school.

If you can't remember it ...

even when you get to highschool and university...

the thought of being bad at it sticks.

I hate English.

In my second year of middle school, I hated the English teacher.

He was also the teacher in charge of my school club.

It was really awkward. And that made me dislike English since middle school

and even now I don't like it.

If you have a terrible teacher, those feelings attach to the subject...

Exactly. The negative feeling just got attached to the subject. I hate it.

I hate it too.

I probably the worst out of us three.

I can't remember English vocabulary,

so sentences are totally impossible.

Even if I know the grammar, if you don't know the words it won't help.

We have to put Japanese sentences into English.

But I don't know the words, so I can't write at all.

It's totally impossible.

What's the most difficult think about English?

I think its vocabulary.

There are so many words in the English language, it makes it so difficult.

I don't hate English.

But I am still bad at it.

I don't hate it but I also can't speak it.

Foreigners often ask me to help them for the way...

but I can't speak any English.

I feel troubled.

What's so difficult about English?

The grammar is so different to Japanese.

That makes it hard.

Remembering the words one by one is hard.

I am terrible at English.

I still middle school level.

I so super bad at it - I am so super bad at it.

Two times I heard "Super bad" here.

So what's so hard about English then?

I have no clue what they say.

Grammar and everything, I don't get it.

I don't understand long sentences.

I can't read it.

I don't get the words either.

I can't deal with the English language at all.

It's the subject I am the WORST at.

The worst? Why?

I don't know how to configure it.

I have no clue how to line up the words.

That's where I stumble.

Well, it's a completely different language...

it's hard to remember and hard to study.

I don't like it much.

Are you good at English?

What?

I can't speak it.

Zero! I go abroad a lot but can't speak it.

I trie to just speak in single words.

What's so hard about English?

I think the grammar is hard.

It's hard to work out what to put in a sentence and where.

I don't get it.

Even though we will desperately try to create the right sentence...

to foreigners it will only sound like useless gibberish.

I think that's a problem. We can't express ourselves.

We have English basic lessons and English conversation lessons

The conversation one had a foreign teacher.

The class that told us about grammar, had a Japanese teacher.

Which one did you enjoy more?

The international teacher's class was more fun.

Is it important to enjoy the class?

- I guess so. - He was very friendly in explaining things.

That made me happy.

You mentioned your mean teacher. Was there a good or bad teacher?

I had a good teacher too, he used English songs.

We were singing them in class. Remembered them in class and such.

I learned not only to speak out and pronounce properly from that class...

speaking and repeating...

This made me realize how important practicing this is.

I had a great teacher in Maths.

And that made me like that subject.

I didn't have a bad teacher in my English class...

... but neither one that left a big impression on me.

So I kept disliking English class...

and so I still suck at English today.

Was your teacher speaking English in class?

I guess so. During class he tried to speak in English.

When we didn't understand, he would explain it in Japanese.

Apart from that there was actually another foreign English teacher at school...

he was speaking in English and our teacher in charge was using English too.

Was the teaching style of the Japanese and Western teacher different?

None was worse or better as far as I remember.

But the English teacher could only speak English...

but he explained it so carefully that Japanese people could understand.

The foreign teacher didn't focus on written English...

he rather focused on speaking and communication.

Which one did you prefer?

I am bad at speaking out in class in general so I didn't like it.

But I think speaking is better for learning a language.

I preferred the foreign teacher.

When you compare foreigners and Japanese...

foreign teachers are good at talking and sound enthusiastic.

Talking with them is fun.

So I did actually enjoy speaking to the foreign teacher.

Around Halloween we played a game with sweets in class...

and we handed out sweets too.

Wasn't that big a deal.

But your teacher could speak English. - He could.

Our Japanese teacher was good at English and he often went abroad.

Was there a difference between Japanese and Western teachers?

The foreign teacher tried to make the class fun.

But in university...

having an English teacher means you REALLY have to work on your language.

In that case a Japanese teacher is nicer for learning.

Foreign teachers play games and such...

so learning English was fun.

The Japanese teacher was a bore.

Why do you think so many Japanese have a problem with the English language?

The grammar has like words and verbs and I don't get it at all.

It would have been better, had we learned English properly in primary school.

Did you start English lessons in middle school?

We started at the 6th year of primary school. We should have started 3rd year really.

We keep moving up in school even though we can't speak English

and then we never really learn it.

We never revise properly.

Those were our questions. Thank you!

Why do Japanese people not really speak English or why

are there many Japanese people who don't speak English

As you could see, many were not comfortable with the English language

as much.

Many said its the words or the grammar that's hard.

I can say there is a very

heavy emphasis in Japan on the written word over the spoken word.d

Which means, some of my Japanese friends, their written English is amazing

they know really difficult words that you don't use sometimes.

But they won't speak it.

Because their teachers weren't speaking it much in class..

I have been in Japan as an exchange student...

I must say when I was there, there was a class when the teacher

completely only spoke in Japanese and that was the English class

and that was high school.

So it's a different way of teaching English. Obviously if you come from

an English speaking country you might have the same difficulties learning a new language

or secondary language.

I see that Japanese people have a problem because the ABC is very different

but in Japanese schools they are trying to change that.

Trying to implement new things.

Which means they are trying to introduce the English language earlier

so more in primary school, not from middle school.

Trying to introduce it earlier, make it more fun, have more conversation

maybe bring a foreign teacher in, so they are trying to change that up a bit.

That might be a couple of things, that might be changing over time

who knows, maybe if we ask this question in a couple of years time

more and more people will be able to speak English.

There is actually a video where we had guys who just randomly spoke English to me

and they spoke it perfectly. Always depends on who you meet on the streets

that day.

Speaking English that was the question. How about you?

Do you have difficulties with the English language?

Even maybe if it is your language...

anything you always get wrong? I always get the difference between live and life wrong.

its ... save and safe... the director just dropped the reflection pad....

Do I still look pretty?

Anyways, let us know, do you have any trouble with English or learning another language?

Let us know, looking forward to reading your comments and catch you soon on Ask Japanese.

Japanese leaders express distrust and disagreement toward Korea's review of 2015 Seoul-Tokyo deal - Duration: 2:31.

While President Moon Jae-in is urging follow-up measures after the release of the review into

the deal on Japan's wartime sexual slavery,…

Tokyo still says the deal is 'irreversible'.

And Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is also standing firm on the issue, saying he

'won't move an inch'.

Lee Ji-won has more.

Japanese leaders expressed their strong distrust toward Korea,.. and said they are firm on

maintaining the controversial settlement deal on Japan's sexual enslavement of Korean women

during World War II.

Tokyo's Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported Thursday that Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe told

people that the agreement would not "move an inch".

The paper added that such comments by the Prime Minister show the Japanese government's

growing distrust toward its Korean counterpart,... and that Tokyo plans to "not respond" to any

of Korea's follow up requests on the matter.

NHK also reported that Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono, who was visiting Oman, told reporters

that if Korea chooses to ignore what the previous administration had done, it would be difficult

to reach any kind of agreement with Seoul.

He reportedly added that he had already told Korea's foreign minister Kang Kyung-wha that

efforts to change the agreement would make the bilateral relationship between Korea and

Japan unmanageable.

This comes a day after Korea's foreign ministry released a strongly critical assessment of

the controversial 'comfort women' agreement reached in 2015 by the previous administration

and Japan.

After 5 long months, the special task force in charge of the review said one of its main

conclusions was the lack of proper communication between the government and the victims of

Japan's wartime sex slavery,... not to mention several details deliberately concealed, including

not using the phrase "sex slavery", and dealing with civic groups.

Tokyo's official response came shortly after Wednesday's announcement, with Foreign Minister

Kono protesting that there was nothing wrong with how the agreement was reached, and that

both sides at the time had agreed the issue was resolved "finally and irreversibly."

Meanwhile, Korea's foreign minister Kang told reporters Thursday morning, on her way to

work, that she will meet up with the victims once the government thoroughly goes through

the points made by the task force,... as part of the efforts to either renegotiate, maintain

or destroy the 2015 agreement.

President Moon calls 2015 bilateral agreement on Japanese wartime sexual slavery issue 'defective' - Duration: 1:16.

President Moon Jae-in has said the 2015 South Korea-Japan agreement over the issue of Japan's

wartime sexual enslavement of Korean women was defective regarding its procedure and

content,... as it was a quote "political deal" that was made without the consent of the victims

and Korea's citizens.

"In spite of the fact that the previous agreement was ratified by both heads of state, as President,

I want to make it clear that I am with the Korean people in believing that this agreement

Such remarks came just a day after the foreign ministry task force announced the results

of its five-month review of the deal... and uncovered that the former Park Geun-hye administration

had kept sensitive parts the 2015 bilateral agreement a secret,... apparently to avoid

angering the public.

President Moon urged follow-up measures to resolve the issue.

A Blue House official emphasized that the government's official stance on the issue

will be announced early next year... and that Seoul will continue to seek its two-track

approach with Tokyo by separately dealing with historical issues and establishing a

future-oriented bilateral relationship with Japan.

President Moon calls 2015 bilateral agreement on Japanese wartime sexual slavery issue 'defective' - Duration: 1:19.

I want to make it clear that I am with the Korean people in believing that this agreement

cannot solve the issue regarding the victims of Japan's wartime sexual slavery."

Japan to convert warship into fighter jet aircraft carrier amid China tensions - Duration: 3:53.

Japan to convert warship into fighter jet aircraft carrier amid China tensions

The 248-metre long carrier would be the first Japanese vessels capable of launching warplanes since the Second World War, marking a continuation in Japan's recent militarisation.

Following its defeat at the end of the Second World War Japan signed a deal promising not to build any offensive weapons and to convert its military into a defensive force.

Now Japan's navy, known as the Maritime Self Defence Force, has drawn warnings from China after appearing to be moving away from the peace agreement.

Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Hua Chunying said: "We urge Japan to do more that may help enhance mutual trust and promote regional peace and stability." China has warned the move may violate Japan's constitutional "no-war" clause.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has already drawn criticism after signing arms deals including one with the US to buy 42 F-35A.

The F-35A needs a runway and would be unsuitable for a converted Izumo-class carrier, however, it has been suggested that the order could be altered to include F-35Bs which are capable of vertical take off.

Local media has put the price of conversion at £372million ($500million) a figure which would rocket to £3billion ($4billion) if a similar ship, the Kaga, was added.

It is expected that the carrier would patrol disputed areas of the East China Sea where China and Japan both claim sovereignty over the Senkaku Islands.

The expansion comes after it was revealed Japan is building missile batteries on an island near China.

The move is part of a military expansion that will see anti-ship and anti-aircraft cruise missile batteries joined by troop garrisons and radar installations installed on Japanese islands.

The fortification comes as Beijing has aggressively sought to extend its power in the South China Sea to wrestle control of shipping lanes and islands from other nations.

Ishigaki island mayor Yoshitaka Nakayama said: "Until China becomes a country with a normal political system, we need to protect ourselves." However preparations were met by protests from some residents of the island who fear the move will make them a target for China's huge military.

Anti-base activist Shizuo Ota said: "We'd be wiped out in an instant." Defence Minister Itsunori Onodera confirmed the missiles were needed to protect the island from invasion.
