secrets to get in shape and building

muscle for students. So I'm going

to basically through out this vlog

sprinkle tips, that I'm gonna

advise you that you can do in the event

you feel like I've missed out any tips

We are starting with food! Because when you're a student

that is probably one of the crucial

things, they need to make sure it's on

point is your budget, as i assume you don't

have a big budget play with so right now

The one thing i actually

came here for was some crunchy salad

which they ran out of so i ended up on getting

some baby speech instead, it's more less

to go in the burger, I'm about to

create...yes you can eat burgers as long

as you make homemade versions and

burgers is fine usually turkey mince is

the best option today I've got beef

burger but yeah you can do that but the

reason I left happier was because a

member of staff watches my channel and

he was asking me... are you chillin with tj, and I

was like yes check the clothing, check the

camera it's definitely me, so I want to say

you've already seen the baby spinach as

I mentioned it's going to be with my

burger. This cordial right here, is a

great thing for those you that like

students we often drink and pop and

stuff

switch out for the cordial it helps you

get your water intake which is really

good for you tranny look leaner this

really helps and also some Reggae Reggae

sauce to spice up my meats.

then also some sweet potato fries.

you guys saw I went to Lidl, and I know

there's like Lidl and Aldi those kind

of stores get a real bad reputation when

it comes to stuff. Everyone always goes

oh my god that's the cheapy poor place. I'm

gonna tell you right now, the real talk

and the real stuff when it comes down to

the essentials such as meats veggies and

drinks those those stores are perfectly

fine or affordable stuff and a lot of

the times it's exactly the same

especially it comes to the actual meats

you'll be able to tell the quality when

you eat and you look at it it's

perfectly fine don't go with the hype

and have to go to a Tesco, a Sainsbury's,

or an Asda because they are more

expensive and it comes to those three

things. Now if you're someone that

obviously loves buying the extra

things like the frozen meals and

chocolate bars and sweets yes if you go

to those big stores they do have a wider

range of stuff but if you're on that

kind of fitness journey for the most

part you shouldn't really be consuming

loads of those anyway you should be

cooking your own meals so that is a big

tip man just like if you're on a budget

try checking out those stores buy some

real food not just the frozen stuff and

actually making me when I guarantee you

won't know it's or if anything you'll

feel it'll taste back is cheaper

anything that tastes good and is cheaper

always is better in my opinion rough may

be your heed any tip in this video

definitely the one about the budget is

probably one of the top ones just

because that's something that

financially affects your pocket and when

I was a student trust me I was going to

Tesco and saves like nothing because I

really believe that those stores are

there because that's kind of the high

pay up when you're a kid anyone I shop

at Lidl and Aldi we always called

them poor but honestly all those years

for uni the stuff that buy now is tasty

exact same if not there if you know is

that in actually biting me so little

though so I'm gonna show you that right

now i buy most my meat from this store

called muscle food, it's an online

store that allows you to buy food it's

kinda like Costco for online except for

you don't have to be like an exclusive

member you just kind of buy that the

links in description box along with you

now make some homemade burgers because I

do like burgers and today's

Friday and Fridays not allowed to be a

little bit mischievous in the meals so

even though this will fit into my

calories I know some people like it

because the cheat meal or a cheat day to

me it's a normal day but yeah home may

be Fergus and here is the me I'm gonna

be having and you can't the logo if you

watch my videos regular you already know

the company if you don't muscle food

calm I'm gonna eat these right now and

devour them and then we're gonna move on

to the next tip because I want to make

sure you guys get as much information as

possible I'll probably do like a part

two because I feel like if I wasn't

going to every single thing you could do

this video be like 20 30 minutes long

sometime I make it nice easy 10 minutes

for you guys to digest and then if you

things that you need to be doing is

cooking your own food I don't care if

you still live with your mom or your

girlfriend cooks you need to know how to

cook your own food purely because you

see what goes in it and overall it's

just a good thing to do and plus your

learn what kind of seasonings you like

on your food to make it taste good and

that way you can apply it to various

different meats I know it seems a lot

harder than it is

trust me it's not I'm not gonna go into

massively great depth from this topic

just because it's really easy to do and

it's a highly beneficial tip so I would

definitely say that you need to learn

how to cook your food even if you don't

cook every single meal at least if you

know what goes into a meal you kind of

be able to watch your calories a bit

more and things like that and talking

about calories in this video I'm not

going to be talking about calories and

great depth just because when it comes

to tracking your calories and macros

you've probably already heard that tips

don't need to go into deep detail I want

to talk about the things but you can

start applying daily right now that

people don't often talk about so I'm

kind of talk about things are kind of

obvious by the same time I love people

oh shit and I wouldn't even thought to

do that or I would've thought to do this

so those are tips I'm gonna give you

guys cuz those are the ones that you

probably haven't heard a thousand times

already as I said I'm not gonna talk

about calories too much but I'm making

like a routine someone now and they are

literally six foot two and they told me

that the calories they're having is

1,600 calories right now heads up no

javi genius to figure out that you're

something along those kind of size

measurements and you watch this video

and you don't eat how many calories like

you mean under like 1800 calories that's

way too nope anyway as we're doing this

if you can't afford to buy that tank

or by Mac clothing eat for the week the

end of the day gym clothing doesn't

actually help your gym performance

greatly but if you feel like that's

gonna be a confidence issue when you go

into the gym and you really do want to

have like more something more fresher to

wear to the gyms to look good then try

and get like in a more affordable brand

I rock my proteins clothing because I

feel like the quality's good and it's

affordable so that'll be my tip but

realistically don't focus on the

clothing she was focusing on the food

and the actual training performance

those you know that obviously I've been

buying philosophy which I mentioned

earlier for the probably the last five

five years and base ended up getting a

massive fan of making things look pretty

taste good so I got two burgers here and

some baby spinach I also have some

barbecue sauce on the burgers to add

some more flavor to it

for the actual burger itself I find that

when it comes to beef burgers in

particular that the meats I've normally

taste pretty good but I did quite a

little bit of season on it I use some

slack cayenne pepper and Chili's and

onion a little bit of spice on it but in

essence as I said beef especially taste

pretty good things like chicken and lean

turkey mince usually I'm probably a

little bit more seasoning because then

people blander when you taste them on

their own yeah very simple meal very

easy to do and there you go that's a

nice easy meal really sickly on normal

day I'd only have one burger but today

is Friday and as I mentioned I do often

treat myself when it comes to things

like this let me just put in the

backdrop but what I want to say though

something that people often a messed up

especially in you're a beginner or

student is you trying upset over

supplements supplements are meant to

only be had when you're not getting

enough nutrients from Whole Foods that

you re in like you can t anymore you

feel full and then you want to get them

do not run supplements as a go-to

thinking and asking you massive from the

get-go

that's matter it works you can't out

train or out supplement a bad diet so

you need to get to a point where you're

actually cooking your own meals and

eating good stuff that is truly how your

body's going to progress you know I mean

like for example if you eat crap all the

time and you go to gym crazy don't think

that you're gonna look in great shape

the food is the fundamental foundation

block you can be training like a madman

you can be trained like honest Wars

nigga if your diet is terrible whether

you're not eating enough or you mean too

much bullshit you're not gonna see the

results that you would expect to see so

that is why you need to make sure you're

actually eating and training right and

then supplements are just an additional

bonus they shouldn't be the foundation

of any sort of diet plan if you have

them you feel like getting less protein

from your actual thews eat cooking

you're eating then you consider a whey

protein don't run to be automatically

just for the sake of it because everyone

talks about it that's not how it works

it's not necessary it just can be

helpful anyway so I'm gonna do now is

Chemists With Disabilities: University of Delaware REU #2 - Duration: 3:31.

Okay, cool

Hello, my name is Deanna Greco. I'm a student at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC

I'm a biochemistry major and I'm going to share my story about well, really my research experience at the University of Delaware

so

Like I said, I'm a biochemistry major, but at my school we don't really have many research opportunities

So I figured that for the summer the best thing to do would be to look for a research program

The science and engineering Leadership Initiative re you seem to be a great fit fit because I have a disability

I'm legally blind and the program is specifically designed for people with disabilities

So I thought hey that's a win-win situation. It'll work out best

So I applied and lucky me I got it

so in applying to the program I had to share that I have a service dog and

because of that and because of my vision, I really

Couldn't work in a wet lab setting I had to be in more of a computational setting

Even though I really didn't know what that entailed

but I jumped into it and but like I said

I wrote that I wanted to be in a computational lab so low and behold. I'm in a computational lab and

I've been here for ten weeks and I can honestly say it's been a wonderful experience

I've learned so much just

like computer computer programming type things because a lot of it obviously is computer-based and

handle, like setup simulations to to almost act like you're in a wet lab but on a computer and

that accommodated me very well because

You know my dog could be there the whole time

I didn't have to worry about messing with chemicals that I could potentially get hurt with because I can't see well enough

So it was really a great fit in that regard

As far as accommodations go I

Really didn't need that much here

But I did like I have zoom software that I use to make the computer really a bit like this

Font really large I use like a 40 inch screen. So that's pretty intense

Oh, I need like all my PDFs that I like tutorials and such to be accessible

So if like so that a screen reading software can go through it

And that's about all I really had here but at school

It's a lot more. So for a lab setting like organic chemistry lab

I had an assistant that would basically be my eyes for observation

Help me measure things do everything that everybody else does like make up for what I couldn't do on my own

so I have that and

There was a lot of

Like obviously like testing accommodations which is a feel like anybody who's associated with a disability office has that

But really when I come to think about it, there's not much else making it like I said before making PDFs accessible

there really isn't that much that I need but mostly because I

can see a little bit so that does help and

And I've learned like I said before I've learned a ton and it's just been a great experience

Chemists With Disabilities: University of Delaware REU - Duration: 3:25.

Hello, my name is Deanna Greco, I'm a student at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC

And I'm a biochemistry major

Currently doing research at the University of Delaware with the science and engineering leadership initiative program

so my school

Like I said, I go to Catholic University and we're a smaller school. So we don't have many research opportunities

so one of my advisors advisors encouraged me to apply for an REU over the summer and

The science and engineering leadership initiative program was a great fit or a great one to apply to at least

Because it's designed for people with disabilities and I'm legally blind. So I have a disability

so I figured hey, let's apply and see what happens and

Luckily I got in

So I spent the last

ten weeks doing

Doing computational research and in my application

I specified that I needed to be doing computational research because of my vision so

Basically I said I have enough vision to get into trouble but not to get out of it

So in the lab setting I'm like a wet lab setting I really don't work the best

Just because it is a hazard and additionally because I have a service dog. I have a guide dog

So the fact that he couldn't be in there with me because it's obviously a safety issue. I

Didn't want to be in a wet lab and yes

I could have put him out in a cage in the hallway because I've heard of other people doing that

But it just I don't like the idea of people being able to walk by and pet him or mess with him

Because really the fact that he's a service dog

They're not supposed to be pet like when they're in harness when they're when they're actually working because it distracts them from their jobs

So I figured it would just be best if I could have him with me all the time

I wasn't around chemicals and I was in a safe space so

The computational lab was definitely a safer space. It was all computers

So basically what I worked on over the summer

was a

I worked with chlamydia, so I worked on a fusion protein

That helps

Helps the reproduction of chlamydia in an abroad scale. It really is a big part in making it happen

So I ran computer simulations, which is what I learned how to do here

I'd never had exposure to anything computational

I never used command-line and this summer I was immersed in it and it was just

It was so much fun to learn a new concept

like to go into something not knowing anything and then to learn to learn and and do things and collect data and

Have results at the end and know that you know for a poster presentation, there's so much to talk about it

it really gave me a new perspective on research that I didn't have before and it showed me that there is a

Lot out there that anybody regardless of whether they have a disability or not if they're interested in chemistry or biochemistry

They are able to go into an area of research. There is a spot for them. They just have to find it
