Hi, it's Dr. Lisa at Spectra Wellness in Tampa, Florida where we inspire growth-minded people,

like YOU, to ignite the full power of your mind and body.

Today's video is going to discuss the chiropractic approach we have utilizing a sound wave technique

to adjust the first bone in your neck.

I had always been exposed to chiropractic thinking it was very interesting but a little

bit nervous.

I had seen patients who had had trauma, especially when manual manipulation of the neck was involved.

So, throughout my career, I would send patients, but very cautiously, for chiropractic manipulations

only for their lower back.

That was until I got exposed to the upper cervical approach that we utilize here at

Spectra Wellness.

The upper cervical approach takes a look at the C1, which is the very first bone in your

neck.

You must understand that if that bone is out of alignment, which it is in almost everyone

-- all it takes is one fall, a very active lifestyle, and that bone will not be exactly

lined up.

When it is out, your body is in a state of emergency.

It wants desperately to reconnect that joint, because it is the most important joint in

our entire body.

All the signals from your brain go through that bone, and all the blood to your brain

has to go through there, as well.

So, without even knowing it, you may be walking around sub-optimal, so below optimal performance,

because that bone is just slightly out of alignment.

Here at Spectra Wellness, we have a chiropractic technique that is SAFE.

It does not involve manual manipulation, so there is NO risk of shearing, tearing, or

any kind of trauma to your neck.

That patent-ability comes from the imaging.

You will go for very specialized films and then the software analyzes it within 1/100th

of a degree.

Our chiropractor will spend time mapping that out and determine the angle, and then, when

you come in, you will be adjusted using a sound wave.

The sound wave is part of the bed, it barely taps in your neck, you will hardly feel a

thing, but what we do is reestablish all of those nerve connections and the blood supply

back into your brain.

I haven't met anybody yet who does not want more blood heading to their brain.

I don't know about you, but I needed it.

The technique and the results that we see are truly one of a kind.

They're very unique and you really need to come in and experience them.

Concerns really are few.

There are a couple of conditions that may not be a candidate for this practice, but

the chiropractor will review them with you at your visit.

We have neurosurgeons who regularly send patients to us because of the safety and ease of this

practice.

Many times patients can avoid surgery or other invasive techniques and you really want to

go ahead and come in and find out if you're a candidate.

Please click on the link below, fill out your email and contact information and one of our

staff will get back to you to set up your appointment as soon as possible.

Services held in Northern Ireland and France to mark Somme anniversary - Duration: 4:53.

Commemorations have taken place in France and Northern Ireland to mark the 102nd anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of the First World War

Hundreds from both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland travelled to northern France to remember those who fell at the Battle of the Somme

Northern Ireland Secretary Karen Bradley led the tributes at the Royal British Legion service at Thiepval, and the Somme Association services at the Ulster Tower and Guillemont

Facebook Twitter  "It is important that we remember all those from across the island of Ireland who gave their lives for our freedom during the First World War," Ms Bradley said

"The Battle of the Somme in particular has an indelible link with Northern Ireland given the remarkable bravery shown, and the scale of the sacrifice made, by the 36th (Ulster) Division and the 16th (Irish) Division

"It is difficult for us to comprehend the horror that these men faced as they went forward into battle, but their contribution and sacrifice was immense and we should never, ever forget it

"We are indebted to organisations such as the Royal British Legion and the Somme Association and Somme Heritage Centre who work tirelessly to ensure that their heroic contribution is always remembered

"  In Belfast, Deputy Lord Mayor Emmet McDonough-Brown led the Somme commemorations at City Hall

"It was a personal and political privilege to lead the procession on behalf of the citizens of Belfast," he said

"Unsurprisingly I am very mindful of the hurt and pain that occurs when lives are lost

In my own family, I am proud of my grandfather who fought fascism as a pilot with the RAF in World War Two, and also of my great uncle who died just before Armistice Day as a medical orderly

"Those who went before me and who fought the evils of their time are uppermost in my mind today

"  DUP MPs for east, north and south Belfast, Gavin Robinson, Nigel Dodds and Emma Little-Pengelly, were among the others to lay wreaths at the cenotaph

Belfast Lord Mayor Deirdre Hargey laid a laurel wreath shortly before the official service, following the tradition of Sinn Fein members in the top city post

The Battle of the Somme started on July 1 1916.  The first day of the battle remains the bloodiest in the history of the British Army

Some 19,240 troops – including many from both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland – were killed within 24 hours

The Ulster Tower is dedicated to the soldiers of the 36th Ulster division while a Celtic cross in Guillemont is in memory of men from the 16th Irish division who died fighting in the nearby fields
