Hi guys and welcome to a new video!
I promised to make question & answer video
sometimes it happens that there is not much going on in the sportscar world
Now and then there are several question and you ask me frequently things
there are many questions below my videos and my Instagram posts
and I'm going to answer all of them
I posted on Instagram that you can ask me questions and we have over 50 questions already
some questions were the same but let me start with the first one
first question is:
Hi Sophia Calate, what is your favorite hypercar of the holy trinity? And why?
I must admit that I had to google for "holy trinity"
actually the holy trinity are the following cars: McLaren P1, the LaFerrari and the Porsche 918 spyder
I love all three of them, but my favorite one is the LaFerrari!
somehow the 918 is not as spectacular anymore as it was
maybe it's because I've seen that car too often?
the outer appearance of the LaFerrari is very very cool
I was able to have a seat in it once, but I haven't driven it yet
it was very cool, it felt so sporty
it was way more of a sportscar than a regular sportscar
I've seen a comparison on top gear of the three cars on TV
and on the racetrack the McLaren wasn't that fast
they made a test and let all cars have a drag race
to see which car accelerates the best
after each race there was a different winner
I've no idea if you can say that there is a winner
or they did it, because the car manufacturer didn't want a comparison of the cars?
Especially Ferrari is a company that is not easy to deal with
they do not want a comparison
to get back to the initial question, the LaFerrari is my favorite car of the holy trinity!
next question:
would you ever consider to buy a BMW?
in fact I used to drive BMW only!
I had 3x BMWs
nothing spectacular
I had two 1 series BMWs and a 3 series coupé
back then it was my favorite car!
I really loved all of them!
But in my personal opinion Mercedes came up with some very cool cars!
Mercedes and Audi have some very good cars too
and I think that both have outrun BMW
I think BMW should make some changes
the whole design of them is kinda old
it is a bit too plane and not very sporty
it's all a matter of taste of course
when I look at other car brands then I would not chose a BMW at the moment

now we get back to the hypercars which means that LaFerrari would be an option
one of my longterm dreams contains a SLS black series
I find that is an awesome car!
once I was driving through the Alpes there was a yellow one
but today they are so expensive

there are many beautiful cars!
Huracan performante is a car that I'm very interested in
Lamborghini is actually not on my list
but the performante is one exception, because it supposed to be awesome
and I like to test the car somehow!
"What was your first car?"
Back then, my first car was a Peugeot 206
built in 2000
when did I have my first car?
I was 20 years old I think
That was indeed my first car, although I wanted the 206CC
which was the convertible version of the car, but I didn't had the money
therefore I could only affort the 206
I worked hard to get the money for it
I purchased the car for 1.200€
It was very reliable! I brought me always from A to B
and I loved the car! I really loved it!
I guess everyone loves his/her first car
I had many cars so far, but this was the very first one that I will never forget
It was reliable and I had never problems with it
I was lucky, because there were no cars that had any problems
that is a cool question:

I never thought about those things
when you speak about extreme things do you mean it has to be crazy and/or dangerous...?
I don't know... I am not the person who do bungee jumps
or something else to get an adrenaline kick
I am very afraid of heights and I don't need to beat my fears
to walk through a jungle would be cool, because I love to go for a walk
I really do that a lot around here
I love animals so if a see a tiger from a safe distance that would be cool
why not?
anyway, I haven't thought about that
maybe I come back to that later!

I cannot answer that question, because I haven't driven any of them

In general I prefer the modern cars

I am only 1.62m (5' 3.8") so I'm not that tall

A huge hobby are my animals, I could be together with them all day
I love to travel with my dogs too
and of course my next hobby is traveling. I love traveling!
I think this is actually my favorite hobby
there is nothing better to spend your money on than on travels
maybe all the stuff you can buy is not worth any money in the future
but all you have seen, still remains in your head
and nobody can take it away from you
if you have to opportunity to travel then do it!
I also love to watch movies
I love movies!
I think I have already seen all movies out there
I prefer horror, sci-fi and adventure movies
I pretty much love those movies
I love horror movies but I don't like splatter things like chainsaw massacre
I prefer stuff that scare you, like ghosts, aliens
"Ouija" for example
or dark skies which I have watched recently
I didn't know that one
I also love Game of Thrones
Everyone who doesn't like it should be forced to watch it
I always try to watch every single episode
Last week I was on holiday and had no time to watch it, I've just recorded it
thank god I didn't missed it
I didn't have pay tv on holiday so I couldn't watch it
that was not good at all, because there are spoilers all over the internet
I have to look on facebook very carefully to not discover any story parts
After my holiday I came home at 10pm and of course I had to watch it immediately
Else I couldn't sleep
oh yes and I also love to bake
when I bake a cake I love to eat the dough
that is basically the only reason why I bake
I don't eat that much cake, but more of the dough
so, these were my hobbys

of course buying a car!
I would invest a lot of it
because many people have a problem when they win the lottery for example
and suddenly have access to a lot of money which they were not used to
most people think of what luxury items they could buy for the money
and at some point all the money is suddenly gone
I would invest most of the money into real estate
there is not much you can do wrong. Houses or flats are always needed
the population is growing and more people need a place to live
so invest into real estate, that is pretty safe

I love to answer that
I finished my apprenticeship
successfully passed
but I'm not gonna continue this job
I noticed that I don't wanna sit in an office and sell cars from there
I just love to drive the cars instead of selling them
I currently work in the industry sector
I'm very satisfy with my job now!
next question: "Are you single?"
no I'm not, I'm happy to be in a relationship!

I really love to drive mountain-passes
and there are so many to drive!
I think there is no favorite road, but I drove on the Stelvio mountain-pass
that was really cool!
the roads go like this and it is very high when you look up the road
the corners are very dangerous too
especially with a sportscar
but the Stelvio mountain-pass is a lot of fun!
if you are close by then drive that mountain-pass!
there are many other mountain-passes and I love to drive them!
those are my favorite roads!
"how do you like the electric cars?"
That is currently a big topic
It's not a problem for me to drive an electric car one day
many people think that changes are bad and they want to stick with the combustion engines
benzin and diesel and they want the real exhaust sounds
that is an all emotional thing and I also drove electric cars
hybrid and all electric
I have to say, it wasn't that bad at all!
It was cool for me, because the electric cars have a great acceleration
which you don't expect when you sit in an electric car at the first time
but then you hit the gas and think that you are in a rollercoaster that launches you forward
I have not a problem to drive an electric car
but there is still one question remaining
does it really make sense and protects the environment?

I don't know... I really don't know it
I didn't drive 300km/h yet
the top speed I achieved was about 270km/h in the GT3
but only because the Autobahn and the traffic didn't let me drive faster
For me, I don't need the kick to drive that fast
because, it is kinda dangerous
if the Autobahn is straight without traffic, then I will try to go faster next time
but you never know how the other cars react
many times there were cars in front of me and suddenly drive on my lane
I'm pretty careful about that and I don't want to risk too much

Yes the Porsche was new and it is 2.5 years old!

I love to drift, but I only had the opportunity to do so on a wet road
I also love to race in a cart
When the cart circuit is empty I love to drift there too
you can do that sometimes when the floor is slippery
that is a lot of fun, but I tend to drift!
because for me it is more fun to drift and I want to do more with it!

I think that was still the Aventador SV Roadster
I just drove it over a little distance
But it was like a real spaceship and it felt very cool to drive it by yourself

yes, Porsche is my favorite car brand
I think that you don't have more fun in any other car than a Porsche
I have driven a lot of other cars and it has nothing to do that I drive a Porsche by myself
It is the best car for a curvey road which are my favorite roads
for me there is nothing better than that, but I also love some other sportscars
I like to have new experiences with sportscars so maybe there will be a different car someday where I say
Hey the Porsche cannot catch up with that, but who knows

I only did some as a training on the racetrack but I would love to drive real races
I also would like to make my racing licence
I haven't been on a real rallye
you are probably talking about real rallys where you jump over sand hills and all that
or through the jungle

I would look for another hobby, because some say that there are different hobbys that are not all car related

the Cars & Coffee events are always very cool!
I love to attend there
mostly the events from the Italiens
they make big events all the time
You also have a real nice landscape in Italy
they have really beautiful locations
People ask me frequently which songs I use in my videos
I take all of them from epidemicsound
they have pretty good music, even for your business
you can just sign-up there. It costs money but not much
I guess I'll wrap it up here

it is not easy as a woman in the sportscar scene

And I think it is good that there are not so many men who have such a big ego
and accept that there are also women driving in nice cars

I always try to combine the videos with cars
I will not start a channel as a make-up artist or hairstyling tipps
