I don't cook, but it is because I'm living alone and I don't like to cook just for myself.

Firstly because it is not fun, it is a bit sad.

Also because at the beggining I used to cook but it was a waste. I was cooking too much food and I wasn't eating everything.

Also because eating the same food everyday for a long time was bothering me

Things like pasta, rice with something. I like to cook but I am good with sweets. Pudding, cakes...I like to eat sweets.

Savory food, I'm not really good to cook it.

I eat Japanese food too. I like both. When I'm Brazil i miss the food from here, when I'm here I miss the Brazilian food.

I am not that person: "Ah, I don't eat Japanese food, just Brazilian food". I am not like that.

I lived here when I was a child. I didn't study in a Japanese school but I learned it here. I had some lessons.

I made some Japanese friends, but then going to Brazil I lost touch with them

But I was listening to Japanese music, watching Japanese animations, chatting with some Japanese people on internet.

A nice thing here, for instance: people from bands. The Japanese musicians answers you. They are quite modest.

When you send them an email, you mean?

Yes, and in social media, mainly.

As I don't write often, I don't feel the need for learning Kanji.

I am better reading and talking.

But it is not everything that I talk that I know how to read or write. Many things I read I can't write. Writing is what I know least.

The Japanese government continues its misguided claims to Korea's Dokdo... the latest in this

effort is endorsing a revised high school textbook guideline with such distorted facts.

Seoul is not alone in expressing anger over such moves by Tokyo.

Ro Aram explains why China is on the same page with Korea.

Japan's territorial claims to disputed nearby islands are nothing new.

At the end of last week, Tokyo renewed those claims by approving guidelines that require

high school textbooks and teachers to tell students that these islands belong to Japan.

They include Korea's Dokdo Island in the East Sea and the Diaoyu Islands in the East China

Sea, known as Senkaku in Japan.

The repeated claim to Dokdo has always been a thorn in relations between Tokyo and Seoul

and last Friday, Seoul called in Tokyo's ambassador to protest the new educational guidelines.

On the following day, Beijing joined Seoul in denouncing Tokyo's move.

At a regular press briefing, China's foreign ministry spokesman Lu Kang said the "Diaoyu

Islands and its adjacent islets have been an inherent part of Chinese territory since

ancient times."

He added that China firmly "defends its territorial sovereignty and that any attempt to infringe

upon that would be "futile."

He urged Japan to adopt a correct historical view when educating young people and to stop

stirring up troubles on the relevant issue.

South Korea and China have for years been at loggerheads with Japan over territorial

and historical disputes,.... which have proved to be among the most divisive factors in their

respective relations with Tokyo.
